A Day of Thanks:

Good morning guys. A beautiful day here in sunny Central Florida, although we’ve had a 34 degree temperature change since yesterday…38 degrees here this morning.

Yeah, I know…you Yankees (is usin the term “Yankee, politically correct??)” must think I’m a “titty-baby” whinin about it bein 38 degrees here when you guys at times consider 38…a warmin trend! Lol.

Hey…Happy Thanksgiving guys!

We here on our place wish you the very best, and ya’ll see many more in the comin years!

God Bless!

As Thanksgivin bein a day to contemplate all of our blessins, let me share a few of my thoughts on this topic.

First off, I’d like to thank our president for the loss of millions of health care coverages across this great land of ours, with myself bein included in those numbers.

I heard of your statement proclaimin to be sooo very sorry for any hardships you may have caused to we, the American taxpaying citizen by mispeakin, but down here where I’m from, we call it by a different definition altogether.

We call it simply…

LYIN!

Better yet, it’s actually STEALIN too!

Gotta feed that monstrosity today that used to be called…government!

We’ll weather this storm as well, kind sir, just as we always weather any adversity tossed our way, cause we’re simply not “quitters,” but…Ameri-CANS!

So, my statements this morning on “obamacare” ain’t whining, only I do wish you’d do us all a favor…how bout you and all your cronies get online and sign up for it yourselves, and stop the moochin of the hard workin, law abiding, tax payin citizens to pay for YOUR golden policies.

Simply put…it’s named for you, so you shouldn’t have any problem getting coverage, and surely you’d be proud to set this example, huh?

Possibly a little “heads-up” for ya…don’t try to sign up online.

Movin along here this morning, I’d like to you for bein sooo transparent in your policy makin, just …as ya promised us.

Guess ya just…misspoke again, huh?

Oh, for I forget, I’d really like to express my sincere thanks for you expandin our Country’s land mass. I musta been asleep on that one cause I just woke up one morning, turned on the tube and there ya were, tellin us we had…57 states!!

That’s a good un!

Where they at, and what they called?

Ah…how bout Professor Gates and his remark to the police officer investigatin a possible break in at the good professor’s home? When asked to come out onto his porch the professor replied… “tell your mama to come out onto the porch!”

Or something very similar to it.

Makes me warm inside to know our children and grandchildren are bein taught by such intellectually gifted teachers in the use of the English language.

Plus, when this incident first took place, your own remark was simply implyin…the police were racist.

Thank ya mr. president for keepin such an open mind and not playin…the race card!

Thanks also for your wise insight at the time of the shootins at Fort Hood, and cautionin “We the People” to not jump to conclusions that this was a terrorist act!

Shoot…

Me bein me, and not nearly so wise as you, I personally considered this exactly what it was…a terrorist incident, but again, what do I know, cause when I was readin this guy was shootin our people, shoutin, “Allah Akbar,” crazy me thought, “ya know what…that’s one of those dern radical Islamic terrorists!

Thanks for enlightenin me on this although it still seems to me this continuous “misspeakin” on your part simply looks like…ya can’t seem to keep your foot outta your mouth??

I’d like to thank you for your superior intellect in proclaimin to us all, in a time of our dire economic future, that your solution to this is actually very, very simple… “We’re goin to SPEND our way outta debt!”
I will say you’re doin an excellent job in this regard…what is it now…

$17 trillion and countin???

I’m sure our children and grandchildren would like applaud you for a job well done as well! Things are lookin very good down the road for those guys, huh?

Oh, I could go on and on, but I’d like to stop and truly say a few things we can truly be thankful of…

Family and friends.

Our health.

Although not what it once was, and this is not in reality our political leaders fault, but OUR OWN for bein so complacent on far, far too many issues, I’d like to give thanks for our Country…still the best place on earth.

I’d like to give a special thanks to our military, past and present. These young men and women are one of the reasons we can lay our heads down at night and sleep peacefully.

Most of all, I’d like to thank our Good Lord, for all the blessings HE bestows upon us each and every day!

There are many, many more reasons to be thankful this thanksgiving morning, but I’ll only list those few besides…thank you to the writers and journalists who daily speak out and keep us informed as to the REAL goins on in our Nation today!

Judi, Brian, and the Canada Free Press are among the most informative.

Still seems kinda funny to me that two people who so love this great Nation of ours and are concerned enough to attempt to give us a heads up daily as to what we as a Nation are confronted with from our political elite…are from Canada!

Go figure???

God Bless you guys…we love ya’ll!

Thank you as well to this next lady whose post I’ll put up this morning…I received this from my good friend, AP.

There are some gifted people who have the ability to put into words that which most of us are thinking. Maureen S. is an ardent American patriot who was born in Pittsburgh, PA, and retired to VA, in 2000. Free from the nine-to-five grind of writing for employers and clients, she began writing political commentary to please herself and express her convictions.

The Architect of Destruction:

Barack Obama appears to be a tormented man filled with resentment, anger, and disdain for anyone of an opinion or view other than his. He acts in the most hateful, spiteful, malevolent, vindictive ways in order to manipulate and maintain power and control over others. Perhaps, because, as a child, he grew up harboring an abiding bitterness toward the U.S. that was instilled in him by his family and mentor…seems to have never left him.

It is not the color of his skin that is a problem in America . Rather it is the blackness that fills his soul and the hollowness in his heart where there should be abiding pride and love for this country.

Think: Have we ever heard Obama speak lovingly of the U.S. or its people, with deep appreciation and genuine respect for our history, our customs, our sufferings and our blessings? Has he ever revealed that, like most patriotic Americans, he gets “goose bumps” when a band plays “The Star Spangled Banner,” or sheds a tear when he hears a beautiful rendition of ” America the Beautiful?” Does his heart burst with pride when millions of American flags wave on a National holiday – or someone plays “taps” on a trumpet?

Has he ever shared the admiration of the military, as we as lovers of those who keep us free, feel when soldiers march by? It is doubtful because Obama did not grow up sharing our experiences or our values. He did not sit at the knee of a grandfather or uncle who showed us his medals and told us about the bravery of his fellow troops as they tramped through foreign lands to keep us free. He didn’t have grandparents who told stories of suffering and then coming to America, penniless, and the opportunities they had for building a business and life for their children.

Away from this country as a young child, Obama didn’t delight in being part of America and its greatness. He wasn’t singing our patriotic songs in kindergarten, or standing on the roadside for a holiday parade and eating a hot dog, or lighting sparklers around a campfire on July 4th as fireworks exploded over head, or placing flags on the grave sites of fallen and beloved American heroes.

Rather he was separated from all of these experiences and doesn’t really understand us and what it means to be an American. He is void of the basic emotions that most feel regarding this country and insensitive to the instinctive pride we have in our national heritage. His opinions were formed by those who either envied us or wanted him to devalue the United States and the traditions and patriotism that unites us.

He has never given a speech that is filled with calm, reassuring, complimentary, heartfelt statements about all the people in the U.S.

Or one that inspires us to be better and grateful and proud that in a short time our country became a leader, and a protector of many.
Quite the contrary, his speeches always degenerate into mocking, ridiculing tirades as he faults our achievements as well as any critics or opposition for the sake of a laugh, or to bolster his ego.

He uses his office to threaten and create fear while demeaning and degrading any American who opposes his policies and actions. A secure leader, who has noble self-esteem and not false confidence, refrains from showing such dread of critics and displaying a cocky, haughty attitude.

Mostly, his time seems to be spent causing dissension, unrest, and anxiety among the people of America, rather than uniting us (even though he was presented to us as the “Great Uniter”).

He creates chaos for the sake of keeping people separated, envious, aggrieved and ready to argue.

Under his leadership Americans have been kept on edge, rather than in a state of comfort and security. He incites people to be aggressive toward, and disrespectful of, those of differing opinions.

And through such behavior, Obama has lowered the standards for self-control and mature restraint to the level of street-fighting gangs, when he should be raising the bar for people to strive toward becoming more considerate, tolerant, self-disciplined, self-sustaining, and self-assured.

Not a day goes by that he is not attempting to defy our laws, remove our rights, over-ride established procedures, install controversial appointees, enact divisive mandates, and assert a dictatorial form of power.

• Never has there been a leader of this great land who used such tactics to harm and hurt the people and this country.

Never have we had a President who spoke with a caustic, evil tongue against the citizenry rather than present himself as a soothing, calming and trustworthy force.

Never, in this country, have we experienced how much stress one man can cause a nation of people – on a daily basis!

Obama has promoted the degeneration of peace, civility, and quality of cooperation between us. He thrives on tearing us down, rather than building us up. He is the architect of the decline of America, and the epitome of a demagogue.

A Very Real Thank You:

This too was sent to me by my buddy AP, who is 95 years young. It is on…Thomas Jefferson.

At 80, helped President Monroe shape the Monroe Doctrine.

At 81, almost single-handedly created the University of Virginia and served as its first president.

At 83, died on the 50th anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence along with John Adams.

Thomas Jefferson knew because he himself studied the previous failed attempts at government. He understood actual history, the nature of God, his laws and the nature of man. That happens to be way more than what most understand today. Jefferson really knew his stuff. A voice from the past to lead us in the future:

John F. Kennedy held a dinner in the white House for a group of the brightest minds in the nation at that time. He made this statement: “This is perhaps the assembly of the most intelligence ever to gather at one time in the White House with the exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone.”

“When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe .”
– Thomas Jefferson

“The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.”
– Thomas Jefferson

“It is incumbent on every generation to pay its own debts as it goes. A principle which if acted on would save one-half the wars of the world.”
– Thomas Jefferson

“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”
– Thomas Jefferson

“My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.”
– Thomas Jefferson

“No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.”
– Thomas Jefferson

“The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.”
– Thomas Jefferson

“The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.”
– Thomas Jefferson

“To compel a man to subsidize with his taxes the propagation of ideas which he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.”
– Thomas Jefferson

Thomas Jefferson said in 1802:

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies.

If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property – until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

AP also states…

“I wish we could get this out to every American! I’m doing my part. So PLEASE…do yours.”

You guys have a wonderful Thanksgiving, and God Bless!

Be sure to, “Keep a smile on your face, and one in your heart!”
