Dave’s Cheese Grits

Dave Rankin is a good friend of my Mama’s and Dad’s, and all the family as well. Dave’s a great guy and loves my Mom to death. Dave’s been in the banking business for many, many years, and I believe may have been all his life.
I was going through Mama’s recipes, and ran across one Dave had tossed in the hat. I don’t think I’ve banked with Dave before but got to thinking this morning…”You know what Dub? Things are indeed tough right now, and with that said, these tough times may continue to deteriorate, and literally become really, really, tough times!”

Well, with those thoughts having a real opportunity of happening, I thought I might wanna throw ole Dave’s recipe up in our column. You know, one of them, I’ll scratch your back, if you scratch my back, or better yet, I’ll run your recipe if you might, well…let’s see, float me a loan or two. As you can see Dave I did my part this morning…reckon I might be able to come down to the bank maybe the first of next week?
