Shelby’s birthday!

Good morning and welcome back to Miz Judi’s Kitchen. I hope this finds all happy and healthy

I hope everyone has had a good weekend. The weather here has been just perfect.

Today, was Shelby’s birthday! We went to her party, and not only did we get to see her, we also got to see three of our grandsons.

This morning, Dub and I were getting dressed to go to the party, and the phone rang. I answered it, and sure enough, it was Shelby Lynn. Nana, it’s Sunday, she told me, and I said you’re right, it is! She said, it’s my party day, are you and Papa coming? I told her sure we are, and Mark had to tell her to get off the phone, so Nana can get dressed now! I am telling you, that kid was so excited.

Not only did she have her Papa and Nana there, but she had her grandma and grandpa, and her great grandma, on her Momma’s side as well! So she was in hog heaven, getting all that attention.

Those kids were running around from the slide, to the swings, there was a rock wall to climb, so before long, they really didn’t know what to do next! I enjoyed watching them outside playing, because a lot of the time kids just don’t know how to be kids! That is unless it’s with a video game in their hands.

Our youngest grandson Gavin, is 7 months old now, and boy how he is growing! I got a picture of him and his Papa and their cheeks look a whole lot alike…chubby!

Of course Gavin’s cheeks are ones that you just want to pinch, and his Papa’s are, well that’s another story! Just kidding Dub, I want to pinch yours too…right off at times!!

We have just had a great day with all of them, and looking forward to many more! It seems like no time ago, we were having parties for our kids, and now it’s their time to have them! Unbelievable how fast time has flown by! But now, THEY clean up all the mess, and you just get in your car and go home!

Thank you friends for coming back to visit with us once more! Be sure to keep a smile on your face, and one in your heart!

God Bless you and yours! “Happy Birthday, Shelby!!”

Deb
