REVOLUTION……..NOVEMBER 22, 2011

“When it comes to the future, there are three kinds of people, those who let it happen, those who can make it happen, and those who wonder what happened”…John M. Richardson Jr…1902-1983

Someone once told me that promises were made to be broken, and I am about to break mine by issuing another REVOLUTION………with all the daily disturbing news, how can anyone sit by without trying to develop anger amongst people whom I believe are just as upset in seeing the “slow destruction” of the America I grew up with, raising a family that believed in the Constitution, and lived the American dream.

NEW WORD….. Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc-ra-cy)…A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least able to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers.

SUPERCOMMITTEE…….A stated when this ridiculous committee was formed, it will not work, nor can it work with the historic background of the six “rock heads” from the Democrat leadership, married to the six “pin head” Republicans…..who could you select to break ranks from his or her, party philosophy. It is just days away from the drop dead moment for the Super committee and the powerful panel is at the risk of failing to perform their assignment, adding another black mark to what is already the most unpopular Congress in modern history.

There isn’t a shred of bill language circulating publicly, much less a scent of bipartisanship before the November 23rd deadline , to show the public how a panel granted such sweeping authority is “trying “to save America’s great financial crises. Even worse for Republicans, there seems to be a growing civil war on the right over the idea of tax revenues. Rank and file conservatives have suspicious of this committee since it was formed, and they have started to go public with their complaints, warning against the tax revenues proposals coming from their own party. Just an example why the idea of having a super committee, cannot be successful. Super committee sub chairman, Jeb Ensnarling blurted out at a closed House Republican meeting, “that any deal the group passes on, will be an (abject) failure, or a kiss your sister agreement”…there are pages and pages of opinions in respect to this stupid idea that 12 can agree where 523 cannot, as we pass the $15 trillion debt mark, I will conclude by quoting a Republican candidate’s remarks, during one of the so-called debates. “I think this super committee is as dumb an idea as Washington has come up with, in my life time. I used to run the House of Representative, I have some general notion of these =e things. The idea that 523 senators and congressmen are going to sit around for four months, while 12 brilliant people, mostly picked for political reasons, are going to sit in one room and brilliantly come up with a trillion dollars, or force us to choose between gutting our military and accepting a tax increase, is irrational. They are going walk before Thanksgiving and say, “All right, we can shoot you in the head or cut off your right leg, which you prefer? What they ought to do is scrap the committee right now, recognize it’s a dumb idea, go back to our regular legislative business, and assign every sub-committee the task of finding savings. Do it out in the open through regular legislative order and rid of this secretive phony business.”…….this statement was made by Newt Gingrich on AUGUST 11,2011………today’s polls show a 9% approval of Congress…The report by the super committee, and accepted by congress becomes effective in 2013, for a limited time of 10 years and can be changed by a new congress, or thrown in the trash can……

This week the U.S. debt reached $15 trillion, and rising. This is a staggering amount that has risen dramatically in the last decade, and $4 trillion higher than when President Obama took office three years ago. Washington doesn’t seem to want to take action, and those who have their hands on the wheel, are ignoring the root of the problem, SPENDING. (where is my hero President Truman’s “the passing of the buck, stops here”)……Monday’s newspaper contained an Associated Press release “Debt Panel poised to admit failure” , with panelists from each party, blaming the opposite party for the failure, so what’s new? Hopefully the S&P will not reduce our rating again. The President came back to the states just in time to announce the failure of the Super Committee, and blame the Republicans for not bending, while threatening to veto any changes while he is President……where was he during the past four months, as any leader of a country facing dire conditions, should be, pressuring as only a president can.

THE KEYSTONE DEBACLE…….U.S. decision to allow the Keystone XL pipeline to go forward should have been easy If Americans needed any further proof that the Obama Administration is one of the oust political on record, or that, for all the recent demagouging, it really only about re-election, not job creation, then you need look no further than it’s cynical Keystone XL pipeline decision recently…

Over the past few months, the radical environments along with Hollywood celebrity activists descended on the White House in protest, urging the President to block the $7 billion (private capital) pipeline that would bring in more than 700,000 barrels of oil from Alberta, Canada, to the Texas Gulf coast refineries. Last week they got their wish.

The Obama Administration announced that it would delay a decision on the pipeline UNTIL AFTER THE 2012 ELECTION. President’s Obama’s’ ambition is nakedly apparent , as is his total disregard for the 14 million unemployed Americans sitting on the sidelines, waiting for Washington to get out of the way so they can get back to work. Which brings another question, “what kind of a deal was made to quiet the union’s leadership? It appears to me that our president, that for him, that politics are more important than achieving true energy independence for the United States. The Keystone pipeline would have done what the President’s hundreds of billions of dollars in stimulus failed to do It would have created tens of thousands jobs, by some predictions. While generating $5.2 billion in property tax revenue for Montana, South Dakota, Kansas, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Texas. And it would be done with all private dollars, not taxpayer’s dollars. This pipe line has no effect on the ongoing debate for off shore drilling, except it would add more energy and jobs, getting America closer to be independent of obtaining energy from the violate middle east..

According to the Department of the Interior, our off shore areas hold more than 86 billion barrels of recoverable oil and 420 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. The Arctic Ocean alone is projected to hold 20% of the world’s undiscovered oil and gas. As for the “Green subsidy “, it becomes more embarrassing by the day. Three years ago President Obama promised by the end of the decade America would have FIVE MILLION NEW JOBS, but so far some $90 billion in government spending has delivered very few. So far about $162 million has been spent for training about 125,000 workers, but only 53,000 have been “ trained “so far, only 8,035 have found jobs, and only 1,033 were still on the job after six months.

All of the above should not stop the search for new forms of energy, although it appears that “wind turbines” are proving to be too expensive, in respect the amount of KW’s produced per dollar spent.

THE HOUSING LOBBY STRIKES AGAIN………It took a $142 billion taxpayer bailout to convince the Obama Administration to pledge in February, to wind down Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac, rein in the FHA and encourage the private mortgage market. So it’s is distressing to see Congress move in exactly the opposite direction less than a year later, with the quiet approval of the White House. A by-partisan Congressional committee announced an agreement to increase FHA’s maximum mortgage limits to $729,750 from $625,500 through December 31, 2013. Increasing the likelihood that this will become law. The National Association of Realtors is lauding this idea as being great for housing “stability”, which it means the that the taxpayer subsidies for this industry will keep on coming, even for “fancy “homes.

One of our readers sums it up in real terms…… “Why should this be a surprise to anyone? The ruling elite in Washington (Republicans and Democrats alike) have once again accepted their legal bribes from the housing industry and no doubt the FHA to make sure that these bribers get to keep their comfortable lifestyles at the expense of the American taxpayer. Just the other day HUJD was defending the annual pay of as much as $6 million that two officers of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac receive. And of course Fannie and Freddie for years were the largest single contributors in the United States to political campaigns, with their biggest being Crooked Chris Dodd and Fat Barney Frank. Now because of the massive losses of the two Freddie’s, the FHA has stepped into do the bidding of the ruling elite. Next in line will be the student loan program, which Obama took over in its entirety to make sure that the American Taxpayers support his favorite constituencies and they in turn support the campaigns of Democrats everywhere.”…enough said!!!!

That is about it for now, shame, because there is so much more going on to the detriment of the people who love this country…..see y’all in the funny papers…..AP
