All three quotations were written by Thomas Jefferson, long before our present government existed.

That man had foresight, did he not?

These three quotes were sent to me from a very good friend of mine, and one whose writings have been seen on our website from time to time.

I call him AP, and this man is a true patriot in every sense of the word.

AP is a self-made man, in his 90’s, a veteran of WWII, a staunch believer in our Constitution and ALL it stands for, and a person not unlike so many of us simply because he LOVES this Country and all it stood for.

“Stood for?” Did I misspeak?

Unfortunately I didn’t.

We lose freedoms every single day.

The lawless have now become…the law.

Through executive orders, political correctness, the mainstream media, literal indoctrination of our children and grandchildren through our far left educational system, illegal immigration, and terminology being shoved down our throats to soften, or deceive true intent or mislead us in so many different ways…

“Enemy combatants” to describe terrorists, or “progressives” to describe elected elite who hide behind this, “nice term for…communists.”

Wasn’t it our President himself when speaking of Sarah Palin told us, “You can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig?”

The very same can be said of enemy combatants, and progressives, because no matter how much make-up you try to cover it with, they are still…terrorists and communists.

Let’s just say, “If the shoe fits…wear it.”

When are WE, the silent majority, going to take a hard lesson learned from the progressive playbook and stop being…so silent?

Instead of listening ALL the time to their name calling, finger pointing, race baiting, hate mongering, divide and conquer style of politics, can we not turn the very same on them?

You know full well the difference between the two would be our facts in regards to our freedoms and liberties this Country USED to provide for us, versus THEIR jibberish they lay upon their own constituents, whom they have literally dumbed down…bought and paid for with pennies on the dollar through a welfare state, and the literal hate induced rhetoric they enflame them with.

Today, these welfare recipients are convinced it is you and I who have put them in the position they are in as this is exactly what the elected elite tell them…over and over, and over!

When in reality, it has been the goodness of our hearts to even allow this to take place. Our…love thy neighbor” Christian values.

I have made this next statement until I’m blue in the face…

WE ARE FUNDING OUR OWN DEMISE.

I read the other day, that here in the US, we now have more people on disability than the entire population of Greece.

10,982,920…almost 11 million people on disability now.

I wonder the percentage of TRUE disabled people? I’d be willing to bet it’s not even half…or even close.

Our politicians have made this giveaway mentality the norm, and have countless organizations that TEACH, teach them mind you, how to bilk we the taxpayer more and more.

Once again…funding our own demise.

Their goal…destruction of the middle class.

Once WE become dependent…game over. We’ll ALL live on…Rowhouse Street.

Social Justice? That’s what they claim.

Social Equality? Yep…we’ll all be broke.

That’s bout as equal as you can get, huh?

You better think about that…bein broke scenario, people.

It won’t be just broke financially.

It means broke mentally, and spiritually as well.

Once tomorrow has absolutely NO possibility of ever bein better than today, it’ll be a pretty despondent world we live in, huh?

Every single day…the same.

Week after week.

Month after month.

Will there be food on the shelves?

Milk for your babies?

Gas for your car?

Heat in your home?

If so…could you possibly afford it?

Not if we continue to elect communists into office.

This man has lived the so called, “socialist utopia.”

What the uneducated don’t realize is that the only utopia that will exist will be exclusively for…the elite.

My buddy worries himself sick that now, after coming to the good ole USA and our political environment today, he’ll now lose everything…for a third time!

A few headlines…

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) proposed using the Internal Revenue Service to curtail Tea Party group funding during a speech on how to “exploit” and “weaken” the movement at the Center for American Progress on Thursday.

Wouldn’t that have to be considered as using your political power to pursue your own political agenda, as well as the destruction of any other mindset, our Constitution be damned? Doesn’t that reflect as a true democratic society?

Man in Wisconsin sentenced to one year in jail for attempting to defraud disability claiming to be blind.

Seems he collected $115,000 in unlawful Medicare benefits and evaded $178,000 in taxes between 2004 and 2009 in addition to disability payments.

Evidently, in our government, when you’re using someone else’s money (OURS!), you seem to be much more lenient while passing it out.

But shoot, they don’t read the bills passed into legislation anymore, why would I think they’d be much more stringent and check people out prior to deeming them…disabled?

Crazy me, huh? What could I possibly be thinkin?

Funding our own demise?

Healthcare anyone? I find it bizarre that more people have lost their credible health insurance since the rollout of Obama care than have been enrolled.

Conservative filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza, whose documentary 2016: Obama’s America took a critical look at President Barack Obama and was a surprise hit in 2012, will be arrested in New York on Friday for allegedly violating campaign-finance law.

Is it just me, or do most remember ALL the questionable campaign financing our President received from overseas, much from anti-America peoples?

Very convenient, the law…when “the lawless” are now, once again…the law!

In closing, we need to take a good, long, hard look at what Mr. Jefferson’s three quotes are warning us of….democracy losing out to giveaway programs, a government grown way, way too large, and our rights through our 2nd amendment to keep and bear arms.

Unfortunately, here in our Country today…silence is no longer golden.

Not on our part!

We as believers in our Founding Fathers, and what freedoms they laid out for us are going to have to start opening our mouths, just as loud, and just as often as our far left leaning political opponents.

You know, first off I’d like to say thank you to all our veterans and our active duty military. Using myself as an example, I don’t thank these young men and women nearly enough so I felt this the appropriate way to start today’s post off.

Basically as a whole, these young men and women exemplify today…integrity, honor and morals.

Because of them, the liberals of today and yesterday have had the freedom to express their views…good or bad.

Seems pretty safe to say that these very same liberals sure wouldn’t be voicing such views openly in say, Cuba, the former Soviet Union, China, Cambodia, and countless other countries.

Why?

Getting their necks stretched comes to mind.

Another example of this very same is in Muslim controlled countries as well, at least the ones controlled by radical Islam.

Yet, here in the good ole USA, our freedoms allow such as this, which in turn have allowed these same liberals to legislate laws such as political correctness, affirmative action, reverse racism, on and on, and on, right down to the phrase, “Merry Christmas” is considered offensive.

Plus, the clamping down on our religious freedom, no matter how much they love denying it.

All of which are literally destroying the greatest Country on this earth.

Cruisin the headlines from around the world this morning, actually the last few mornins, and oh how I’ve grown to hate even lookin at them, one thing I notice is that part of Hollywood is putting on a benefit to raise “EMERGENCY funding,” to help Texas women who have been affected by the State’s new abortion restrictions.

This bein put on by, guess what…another community organizing group…“A Is For”

“The reproductive rights group “A Is For” — a relatively new organization that describes its mission as to serve as “an ally and advocate for organizations working to protect reproductive rights; we are a unifying forum utilizing social media to spotlight issues and encourage activism” — is putting on the event.”

Better yet, is the theme of the night’s event…

“Night of a Thousand Vaginas??”

Is it just me, or does anyone else consider the path our Country is headed down today as, literally becoming evil?

I swear I can’t seem to wrap my hands around such terminology so openly advocated by todays liberal minded “organizations” and I don’t know about the rest of you, but I personally don’t want this type of accessibility for myself, my wife, not to mention my grandchildren.

You’re telling me that the majority of American citizens advocate such as this?

If so, I’m tellin you straight up…that’s a lie!

Getting off the moral side of the coin as far as the terminology for this event, which I guess the left feels as, “catchy, cute, even possibly brilliant (oh, aren’t we so educated and witty)” but let’s look at the morals of the reasoning behind the event…

Abortion.

You’re talking the murder of children.

Cut it, paint it, spin it, however you’d like, this is murder of a child.

Now believe me, I’m not so ignorant to realize that there are cases of rape that take place unfortunately, or the mother’s life may be compromised attempting to birth the child, and I guess I’m bundling this all up into one example, but I am aware that the vast majority of these pregnancies are taking place through…consensual sex.

So, on account of two grown adults having sex, with the full knowledge of the implications that can arise from such actions…plus ALL the ways any more to have, “safe sex,” with slim to none chance of being impregnated…

The child is killed.

How can that possibly be condoned number one, yet today, it not only is condoned, but by many considered…morally right.

This group, A is for, is concerned with our reproductive rights??

Dern…I never knew our reproductive rights had ever been threatened??

One other example of the left and their vaginal, I mean MARGInal thinking…this at the GOP convention prior to the last election.

Now, I’m supposed to feel that these people, Code Pink and A is for, and the left in general, are clear thinking, law abiding, productive citizens whose goal is, and look here, I’m going to quote a Democrat…

“Ask not what your country can do for you, but what YOU can do for your Country.”

Yet here we sit today with a front row seat in the destruction of our Republic.

One other video that comes to mind, that I’m sure most have seen but is worth taking a look at again is this one…I’m sorry, I thought this was just one video, but evidently seven or so strung together. The one I’m referring to in this post is the first one…candidate Obama standing nonchalantly during the playing of our National Anthem. Look at everyone else…quite a different picture, wouldn’t you agree?

We’re in deep, deep trouble my friends and a lot of it has to do with lost values…

As a people, as a Nation, and under God.

Our elected elite condone such actions taken by the Code Pink’s, the A is for, and all the rest like them.

One other thing I found appalling…I mean interesting, in regards to our government elite, one in particular…you know the man who wrote the book on morals, integrity and honor himself.

Does, “If you like your health insurance, you can keep it,” jog your memory any?

Well, for the “slow trails” out there, I’m speakin of our President.

This from, “The Weekly Standard…”

Robert Laszewski—a prominent consultant to health insurance companies—recently wrote in a remarkably candid blog post that, while Obamacare is almost certain to cause insurance costs to skyrocket even higher than it already has, “insurers won’t be losing a lot of sleep over it.” How can this be? Because insurance companies won’t bear the cost of their own losses—at least not more than about a quarter of them. The other three-quarters will be borne by American taxpayers.

For some reason, President Obama hasn’t talked about this particular feature of his signature legislation. Indeed, it’s bad enough that Obamacare is projected by the Congressional Budget Office to funnel $1,071,000,000,000.00 (that’s $1.071 trillion) over the next decade (2014 to 2023) from American taxpayers through Washington, to health insurance companies. It’s even worse that Obamacare is trying to coerce Americans into buying those same insurers’ product (although there are escape routes). It’s almost unbelievable that it will also subsidize those same insurers’ losses.

I can’t even imagine how we are laughed at and ridiculed by our elected elite for mainly our inaction through which they have literally taken over our Country.

How much time before our inaction will make no difference anyway, simply because as time passes along, the day will come that action or inaction won’t matter anymore because at that point…

We won’t have the ability to act.

The clock is tickin away folks…are we too going to trash OUR integrity, honor and morals?

I believe that I’ll just be hangin on to mine. No matter how the left attempts to spin it, my convictions, my name and my handshake I still consider…important.

To me, anyway.

Anymore people, good or bad, thick or thin, I at least make the attempt to, “Keep a smile on my face, and one in my heart!”

Can you believe it? Shoot, seems like only a couple months back I was still datin my checks as I’d write em out 2012 although 2013 had already rolled in??

Best piece of advice I can give all you younger guys and gals out there is simply…don’t get old!

I’d like to start out this morning with a few words from the late Jerry Clower.

They aren’t just as he told it, but pretty close.

He was speakin on women’s lib, and the woman in charge of this movement comin to see his wife, Mrs. Clower.

She pulled up in their drive unannounced, and proceeded to ring the doorbell. After bein let in she was brought to where Jerry was watchin TV, with evidently Mrs. Clowwer bein tied up at the moment.

She burst in to where Jerry was sittin and declared, “Well Mr. Clower…I’m here…to see your wife.”

Jerry asked, “Bout what?”

She said quite arrogantly, “I’m here…to liberate her!”

Jerry bein Jerry, just calmly said,

“Well, if ya noticed them 3 Lincoln Continentals in the drive as ya pulled in, and 2 of em bein hers, then ya had to be aware of how nice Mrs. Clower’s house is, and then the door bein answered by her housekeeper, and finally as you were led down the hall with a TV playin in every room till ya got ta where I’m at, well…I gotta tell ya…”

“Mrs. Clower…”

“DON’T WANNA BE LIBERATED!”

Now, couple points here…bein Southern, and a redneck, I like Jerry Clower first of all, BUT, in today’s world, most of “the educated” look down their noses at us Southerners, and quite frankly see us as bein simply… “dumb as a pile a rocks,” wouldn’t ya agree?

But on the other hand, many educated people I happen to like very much. These people are a tremendous asset to our Country and its inhabitants.

Because of these people, and most happening to be rich too by the way, have throughout our existence as a Nation boosted our economy through the jobs they produce and the investments they made.

This in turn gave this Country one of its greatest assets…the ability for us as citizens to… “LIVE the American Dream!”

It also enabled us to have a strong middle-class, which today our elected elite see as a problem, only because they can’t hold us…under their thumb!

So today, our educated, although mainly the problem lies in our “liberally minded educated,” we’re looked upon as not bein… “the sharpest knife in the drawer.”

On the flip side, we as, “We the People,” for too long looked upon these educated liberals as…nuts!

Sadly, the opposite was true.

Educated yes, but only in the sense that “We the People” bein counted on to sit on our backsides while they continued to pass legislation each and every day to take away our fundamental rights and liberties our Country had bestowed upon us.

They had us pegged!

They weren’t nuts as we early on perceived them to be…they were very smart and very patient. They had…

AN AGENDA!

Through affirmative action, community organizing, redistribution of wealth through the guise of… “helping out the poor and oppressed,” through educational indoctrination, our media refusing to broadcast the real goings on in our elected elites agenda, political correctness, no child left behind, illegal immigration, no term limits in the House or Senate, and countless, countless others…

The liberal educated were working 24-7 too literally, and today arrogantly, destroy our Country as we have known it.

Is there still a Republican Party??

Democratic Party???

Nope…just putting on a show for us, of…good cop, bad cop.

Our mistake?

Takin for granted the good ole USA had in its Constitution all the safeguards needed to insure our rights.

We had…

Checks and balances!

We, as workin people, had families to raise, mouths to feed, house and car payments to make, and jobs to look after.

Then our Christian, even if you’re not a Christian, we still shared Christian like beliefs to…help our neighbors.

This too bein one more virtue the “educated liberals,” pounced on in their ability to kick-start all the welfare or social programs…it was…

The goodness of our hearts.

Ya know, lookin back, as bad as I hate to say it, but dern if we, as in, “We the People,” through our negligence, moral standards and trustfulness, literally HAVE been actin like…we did just “fall off a turnip truck??”

Northern AND Southern alike!

Seems when New York City was swearin in their newly elected mayor, they took one more swipe at, We the People, and our middle class through…

Racist Accusations

Let me just say, in my own opinion, I’m sick of such allegations. Our Country has for quite a while now been anything but racist.

Sure, sure, there are examples of racism from time to time, but most made by nuts, black or white, which brings to mind the example of, “it only takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch.”

The knockout game comes to mind.

You see the public demand by our inner cities people of somehow what the working people make is theirs too, whether the redistribution was made by black or white, or yellow or brown.

Anyway…at de Blasio’s inauguration the Rev. Fred Lucas says, “Let the plantation called New York City be the city of God, a city set upon the hill, a light shining in darkness,” he declared. “Elevate our valleys. Make low our mountains. Make our crooked places straight and our rough places smooth. Oh God, oh God, oh God, break every chain, break every chain, break every chain.”

Funny to me, this plantation rhetoric seems a tragic misstatement.

Misstatement in the fact that it was Dr. Martin Luther King whom pretty much broke the chains involving civil rights, yet just as soon as they won their rights, they sold their souls, replaced the chains upon THEMSELVES once more, and reentered the plantation, only this time…the GOVERNMENT PLANTATION.

Well Rev. Lucas, the racism and chain bondage you speak of was not of the white people of our Country’s doin so, as you guys seem to love portrayin it as, but was simply done by our own elected elite, black, white, yellow and brown, who so proudly proclaim…we’re here to help you guys!

In truth, nothing but a pack of lies, that have been executed through, well…a pack of lies, and the dumbin down of our inner cities populace.

Why the good Rev. and cohorts won’t speak the truth, and just come out and say, “Hey, we’re gonna take from you, dictate to you, and enforce laws upon you that will destroy your work ethic, your family units, your souls, and your Country is beyond me.

It has nothing at all to do with racism, but power and greed. They play the fiddle and the dumbed down dance to their tune!

They point their fingers and declare the whites, or any conservative thought process, NO MATTER THE SKIN COLOR, as evil, greedy, corrupt and…racist.

This thought process, reverse racism, or whatever you want to label it as, has been goin on since the mid-sixties, or again…bout the time the blacks won their civil rights.

But this has been taken to a new level by the Barack Obama’s, the Eric Holders, the Mark Lloyds, the Hillary Clinton’s, the John Kerry’s, and even the pastors…the Fred Lucas’ and the Rev. Wrights, to name but a few…religious leaders or elected elite.

Personally, I feel this to be very, very dangerous.

You have on one side of the fence a race of people who hear plainly, day after day, after day, from our elected elite, and yes, pastors of their own congregations, that the whites have destroyed any hope of them bein able to achieve anything for their family.

We as a race, have stolen from them, and won’t allow them anything else except a life of misery and pain.

They’ve been indoctrinated that everything we’ve worked for is part theirs too.

Then, on the other side of the fence, here we sit as whites, no other crime than that, simply bein white here in our Country today, and we hear this sentiment expressed by our elected elite that…we’re racist!

We have a President elected in our Country we didn’t like BECAUSE of who he was, NOT what he was, or stood for…yet, we’re racist on account of this.

There happens to be a football team named… The Redskins…we’re racist.

We want to keep as much of our money as we can, first off cause…we worked for it??? Well guys, ta tell ya, but that’s racist too.

On, and on, and on.

Ya don’t think our elected elite don’t understand at all that this IS…creating a racial divide among us?

Of course they do, and are actually advocating this very thing.

Once more…it ain’t about helping someone, well maybe it is…but only helping our elected elite and their minions!

Why are they pushing this racial divide so adamantly or maybe better put, so vehemently?

Well…we all know that too, don’t we, but that’s another subject.

Some Quick Numbers

These stats from 2009 mind ya, so what must they possibly be today???

Welfare spending is stretched across 13 government departments and agencies, 17 budget functions, and 71 separate programs.

President Obama plans to spend $10.3 trillion on welfare over the next 10 years. That’s $250,000 for each poor person currently living in this country.

From the “Heritage Foundation:”

•Welfare to poor and low-income families is now the third most expensive government function after aid to the elderly in the form of Social Security and Medicare and after education. We spend less on national defense than on welfare.

•Welfare spending in 2008 was $714 billion. That’s 13 times greater than welfare spending in 1964, when President Lyndon B. Johnson started the War on Poverty.

•During his bid for the presidency, Obama repeatedly bemoaned the fact that the war in Iraq cost each American household about $100 each month. By comparison, welfare spending costs each American family $560 per month this year; next year, that number will jump to $638.

•And speaking of war, the federal and state governments spent $15.92 trillion (adjusted 2008 dollars) on welfare from 1965 to 2008. By comparison, the cost of all American wars since the Revolution is $6.39 trillion (adjusted 2008 dollars).

So we’ve spent $15.92 TRILLION dollars since 1965 until 2008…on welfare??

Look around…sure seems to have done a lot of good.

Those educated elite are on top of it sure nuff, ain’t they?

Ya know…you remember Paul, right?

After all, HE was the Republican candidate for vice-president on Mitt Romney’s ticket.

Comin back to you now?

HE…who was supposed to stand by the virtues and beliefs of our Republican Party and be our voice…crafts a bill to take money from our veteran’s pockets.

EVEN DISABLED VETERANS ARE NOT EXEMPT!

Ah…these very same veterans are the very people who insured these political elite today the FREEDOM to live in a Country where they could be elected…AND SERVE!

Maybe it’s just me…but weren’t our officials supposed to serve…

THE PEOPLE?

One of Ryan’s reasons really irks me…to no end.

“We give them (our veterans) a slightly smaller adjustment for inflation BECAUSE THEY’RE STILL IN THEIR WORKING YEARS and in most cases EARNING ANOTHER PAYCHECK.”

REALLY???

Hmmm….seems to me far, far too many of our elected officials are guilty of this very same thing…retiring…then takin another job….BUT, with a couple MAJOR differences.

The first bein in their regard, the term, “work” is…VERY overstated!

Wouldn’t most agree?

The second is the retirin or leavin one public sector job, and immediately takin another…public sector job…which by the way is paid for by…you and I once more…the taxpayer!

Do THEY take a pay cut?

Nope.

Do they collect retirement benefits which include pensions, health care, AND in many cases a cash buyout?

You betcha they do!

Ever heard the term DOUBLE or TRIPLE DIPPIN?

For those who have…why do we as taxpaying citizens tolerate such?

For those who haven’t, well, I suggest you step outta the closet for a while, or worse yet, stop takin our elected elites word on, well…

ANYTHING!

A few quick examples…

Today there are over 13,000 former California elected elite collectin pensions of over $100,000 per year!

In New York, over 16% of its retired police and fire department employees collected pensions of over 100 grand.

In Michigan, according to Ballot-Pedia, their public sector employees are allotted, get this…

12 to 13 PAID HOLIDAYS a year…

15 to 35 days of vacation time a year…

13 sick days a year…

I’m just thinkin…take off the weekends and how many days a year…

DO THEY WORK?

Must be nice to have a bottomless pit to draw from, huh?

If ya ask me, our elected elite could do TONS OF CUTTIN…right in their own purse strings…wouldn’t ya agree?

By the way, our elected elite decided against not havin to cut our veterans retirement by simply…

REFUSIN TO CLOSE A LOOP HOLE for ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS which costs, once again, we the taxpayers an estimated 4.2 BILLION for a child tax credit allotted to these…ILLEGALS!

4.2 BILLION DOLLARS to once more…ILLEGALS!

YET…we see fit to cut our veterans pensions???

I saw on a newscast from Indianapolis I believe where one Hispanic family, livin in a mobile home was collectin child tax credits on…29 children.

Yep…29 children.

Once the news crew investigated…there was only one child livin there, YET, our elected elite, or the IRS decide to take absolutely…

No action.

We’ve become a Country, once more, of…NO REPRESENTATION!

Possibly our elected elite might want ta sit down and discuss this no representation thing with ah….the British maybe??

Again though, I find this mind boggling the Democrats refused to close this loophole, but instead, decided to cut our veterans retirement???

So, what kind of predicament does this put us into as a Country, in regard to our election process?

If a candidate today believes in morals, standards and virtues…you’re out!

Liars, cheats, and me, me, me have become THE STANDARDS of our political process.

If a candidate believes in the family unit, raising your children as you see fit, and would like to see our children’s standard of education once more raised to the point we are once again among the world’s best…sayonara!

Educational indoctrination is the new goal today.

Global Warmin, don’t drill in the US…we might kill a swamp rat or two, shoot, even though we’re the breadbasket of the world…lets ship our produce in…from outside the US.

So, through the process of dumbin down our youth, and although I’ll be labeled probably as a racist for statin this (although I’m not)…our inner city peoples…or people of color…our elected elite have figured out they can buy the vote for literally…pennies on the dollar.

Remember also, all the times a president has spoken the words… “OUR ADMINISTRATION will STOP the out sourcing of our jobs! We want to put Americans back to work!”

Lip service…that’s all we get in our Country today!

Not too much shocks me anymore today…

“Pass it, THEN we’ll see what’s in it”… “Read the bill, are you kiddin me…we don’t have time to read the bill”… “If you like your insurance, you can keep it”… “If you like your doctor, you can keep him”… “OH, I’m sorry I misspoke in regards to you bein able to keep your insurance…or your doctor”…

Lies, lies, and more lies.

What have WE become as citizens of this great Country to allow such behavior?

If a candidate todays speaks of our Constitutional liberty’s (written by old, out of touch white men as the left likes to declare), or speaks of God….see ya!

They have dirt dug up on them and are drug through the mud, or today I must admit, I personally feel they’re threatened, along with their family.

It took me 3 attempts at the driver’s license office to renew my license. When Deb passed, I had no idea where my original birth certificate was…so I HAD to go get another one.

My wallet had been stolen a couple years back so…I had to go get a new social security card.

To be honest, I don’t remember what the last problem was, but there was one more hurdle I had to clear to once more…renew my driver’s license.

The kicker here…I HAD MY OLD LICENSE…WITH MY PICTURE ON IT!! They couldn’t just type me into the computer along with all MY INFORMATION, and see without a doubt that Doug Bronson was INDEED…DOUG BRONSON.

The very same Doug Bronson who HAD been drivin in the State of Florida for the last…46 YEARS!

YET today…our elected elite declare it AGAINST HUMAN RIGHTS, or EVEN RACISM, to ask for an ID to be allowed to vote???

GEEZ people…that’s probably the GREATEST right we have as Americans…the right to vote!

SO HOW COULD INSURIN THAT YOU ARE WHO YOU ARE, AND THAT YOU ARE IN FACT A LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZEN, BE IN ANY WAY OFFENSIVE IN YOUR DUTY TO…CAST A VOTE?
YET, in this crazy mixed up world we live in it evidently is??

If we have a candidate today who speaks of a work ethic…he is racist among other things, and our mainstream media destroy him, or her.

Our elected elite today harp on financial aid…better known as entitlements.

To help someone is a horse of a different color, but to cause the total financial dependency of individuals to their elected elite is beyond grasp to me.

If you’ve lost your job…my heart goes out to ya, and to be quite frank, we ain’t livin on easy street here either.

Ya want to pinpoint the blame…well, ya needn’t look any farther than our elected elite.

They’ve destroyed jobs, just take a look at health care, but also TOO much government regulation, TOO much unionization, and TOO taxation.

On top of this, we have literally GENERATIONS of people in this Country who have…NEVER WORKED!

NEVER!

Through the indoctrination of our people through our elected elite, they are now CONVINCED it is THEIR RIGHT to take from us and it be given to them!

I remember vividly Michelle Obama declarin… “You need a piece of the pie too…”

Well, get your butts off ta work and go to the bakery, or go purchase the ingredients from the neighborhood grocery…and get your own pie!

I promise you right now that you can keep YOUR PIE, cause I don’t want any of it!

My reasoning is pretty simple…

It’s YOUR pie, not mine.

How can I possibly declare what is rightfully yours…be mine too?

If I started showin up on the doorsteps of the entitled people on the first of every month, ya reckon they’d share THEIR WEALTH with me? I mean after all, ain’t it part mine too, accordin to our elected elite’s reasonin?

I’d sure think so, wouldn’t you?

SO…how bout leavin our veterans retirements alone, and focus in on takin the welfare benefits from these very people who have never worked, never intend on workin, and as it stands now…asin’t gonna work!

Oh, wait a minute…

If we were to do that, wouldn’t that cause riotin in our Country? Anarchy? Possibly even race wars?

Yeah…it very well could, but ya know what…you only have to look at our elected elite once more! They, and they only, orchestrated this too!

So, in closing, I’d just like to say to all our elected elite, Paul Ryan as well, there is a day of reckonin comin….maybe not in this life, but the next.

Eternity is a very long time.

Your power today to destroy men’s souls, pass laws to take more and more from the taxpaying citizens of this Country, spend, print and borrow money that our children and grandchildren could never possibly pay back, and total disregard our Constitution and its rights given to us by our Founding Fathers will one day come back to haunt you…with a price.

Your greed, your corruption, your lack of morals or virtues, and once again, your lust for power, will eventually be things that will cause you much grief, if not here or now, will do so down the road.

Once more, eternity is a very, very long time.

What was it Saul Alinsky, the father of community organizing once said…something to the effect of…

As Thanksgivin bein a day to contemplate all of our blessins, let me share a few of my thoughts on this topic.

First off, I’d like to thank our president for the loss of millions of health care coverages across this great land of ours, with myself bein included in those numbers.

I heard of your statement proclaimin to be sooo very sorry for any hardships you may have caused to we, the American taxpaying citizen by mispeakin, but down here where I’m from, we call it by a different definition altogether.

We call it simply…

LYIN!

Better yet, it’s actually STEALIN too!

Gotta feed that monstrosity today that used to be called…government!

We’ll weather this storm as well, kind sir, just as we always weather any adversity tossed our way, cause we’re simply not “quitters,” but…Ameri-CANS!

So, my statements this morning on “obamacare” ain’t whining, only I do wish you’d do us all a favor…how bout you and all your cronies get online and sign up for it yourselves, and stop the moochin of the hard workin, law abiding, tax payin citizens to pay for YOUR golden policies.

Simply put…it’s named for you, so you shouldn’t have any problem getting coverage, and surely you’d be proud to set this example, huh?

Possibly a little “heads-up” for ya…don’t try to sign up online.

I’d like to give a special thanks to our military, past and present. These young men and women are one of the reasons we can lay our heads down at night and sleep peacefully.

Most of all, I’d like to thank our Good Lord, for all the blessings HE bestows upon us each and every day!

Stand firm…How many considered this statement, stand firm, as speakin to our elected republican officials?

Well, it ain’t, although that’s just EXACTLY what they need to do!

Oh, there’s no doubt that I’d love to see those guys do just that…stand firm in their duty to we the American people, and finally get the gumption or backbone to stop this insanity goin on in DC today…BUT, I don’t see it happenin.

I’d read yesterday they had, “made a deal,” with the dems, but Obama turned it down.

Is this true?

Who knows anymore, but part of “this deal,” would have allowed the funding of…obamacare??

Today our two party’s represent…good cop…bad cop.

It’s a show folks…that’s all.

As bad as I hate to make such a remark, that’s exactly what it is.

First off, to have our elected officials, democrat or republican, allow funding for this monstrosity known as obamacare, is a travesty, which by the way is not condoned in any shape or form by the MAJORITY of the American people.

Need I say the very same on the subject of… “Have a Merry Christmas?” How has it come to pass where 12 to 15 percent of our people have full say in matters such as… “Merry Christmas?”

I’ll state this once more…the MAJORITY of the American people say… “DON’T do it” to obamacare, and we’ve been sayin it from the get go.

Pelosi statin that we’ll see what’s in it (read it in other words), AFTER we pass it.

I can’t think of any better example of total contempt of the American people than those words.

Here is a VERY well paid, VERY well compensated through a golden retirement package and LIFE LONG healthcare paid for …BY US, and sadly, a VERY powerful ELECTED official who just pretty much heard the racket bein made by we the American people, screamin… “Don’t do it,” and with absolutely no remorse, or feelin of any obligation of any kind that she indeed is workin…FOR US, she literally just…

Gave us the finger.

This is the most atrocious, dastardly, unfathomable piece of legislation to ever come down the pike…bar none.

A job killer is putting it mildly…VERY mildly…I’m VERY scared of what all IS in the dern thing, but as Pelosi stated, we ARE sure fixin TO see what’s in it!

You only have to look around to see company, after company slashin employee hours. This will only get worse…and worse…and worse!

Amazing thing though, is isn’t it funny, that AFTER READIN the bill for themselves, the dems, and repubs alike, after seein some of what was in the dern thing, suddenly…they didn’t WANT ANY part of this in regards to THEIR, or THEIR family’s health care??

So guess what?

They declared THEMSELVES…EXEMPT from this great health care plan.

Funny, isn’t it, that Obama, ain’t covered by…obamacare??

WHY???

I mean accordin to them, this IS what the American people wanted. This IS what the American people NEEDED! This IS the greatest thing since buttered toast! THIS IS the answer to ALL our health care concerns!

ALL, that is, EXCEPT the very people who wrote it, implicated it, and decided that even though the majority of us DIDN’T want it in the first place, they’d just go ahead and shove it down our throats.

Let’s see…hmmm…they’ve nationalized some insurance companies, they’ve nationalized some financial institutions, they’re nationalizing health care, and also, in the process, they’ve “nationalized” thousands more IRS workers to see that they collect their forced nationalized health care monies, that aren’t a tax mind you as our commander in chief declared, but in reality…are a tax.

They’ve also nationalized the car companies, two anyway, and awarded their “buddies” the unions, who in reality were the back breakers in the car companies bein able to turn a profit, with, guess what…

A twenty per cent stake in the companies they broke!

Seems this “socialism thing” works pretty good if you’re…one of their comrades, huh?

The unions been destroyin companies for years now…steel mills (gone), textile mills (gone), car companies, the postal service cain’t turn a profit, Am-trac, etc., etc., etc.

You only have to look at Detroit today to see the ghosts of good days past.

Couldn’t be that Cloward-Piven thing could it?

Ya know, that theory where in order to help destroy America as we know it, you do it through overwhelming our economic system with welfare and the like.

That gimmee, gimmee, gimmee thing where your goal IS NOT to get people OFF welfare, but ya put MORE and MORE people on welfare!

Ya keep putting more and more on it until, guess what??

We can “know” longer fund it.

I use the word no in that tense simply because you and I the taxpayer have kNOwn for some time now that , no we cain’t continue to support this, yet…we do it anyway, although once more…

Ya want more people on welfare, the best way to do so…cut jobs!

Companies makin a profit is not greedy, not selfish, and not wrong as the dumb downed are told.

It is simply people with visions, go getters if you may, who through a hard work ethic live a dream, and through their dream, they grow their company, or business.

Standin Firm

In reality today, my statement, “Stand Firm,” means for you as true Americans, stand firm in YOUR beliefs.

Stand firm in your values and standards.

Stand firm in your integrity. Your name DOES mean something! Start actin like it, okay?

Stand firm in your right in regards to freedom of speech. Political correctness be damned!

Stand firm in your right to live the American dream. You CAN start your own business and be successful in doing so, although this today is tougher than it’s ever been here in our Country.

Stand firm in your right for your children to get an education, even if it means home schooling them.

Stand firm in your beliefs that our Constitution IS what we were founded upon, and is not an ***old, outdated document written by a bunch of…white men, no matter how our elected officials try to spin it.

Stand firm in your belief that we DO live in the greatest Country on earth, and that our freedoms and liberties are GRANTED to us, and not to be tampered with.

Stand firm in your beliefs that this period of immorality, unaccountability, and total Godless behavior too shall pass, although it will take action on all of our part for this to take place.

Stand firm that right, still is right, and wrong is just that…wrong. This will never change, again, no matter how our elected officials attempt to spin it.

Stand firm in your belief that work is part of life. It teaches all of us responsibility, and that through hard work, good things do indeed happen. It’s not easy, and it takes time, but through a good, hard work ethic you have the opportunity to grow.

Stand firm in your belief that your children are…YOUR children, and NOT the responsibility of our government!

Stand firm in your commitment to raise your child AS YOU see fit.

Stand firm in your commitment to discipline your child, if need be. This is done out of love, not contempt. As hard as it is for liberals to understand, but we discipline our children, once more out of our love, and attempt, to show them right from wrong.

If we didn’t love our children, then we’d not discipline them…we’d simply just not care, plus, if you pay attention, this is but one more cog in the destruction of our great Country…

How many children today…don’t know their father?

How many women today, don’t know who the father OF their child is??

How many women today are REWARDED for havin children? The more ya have, the more you’re paid!

Once again, we’re fundin our own demise. It’s our tax money fundin these…lotto winners. The more children ya have…the bigger your lotto jackpot!

You have the right to keep and bear arms! This IS non-negotiable!

Finally, you have the right to believe in, and worship God…but this too is under attack, isn’t it?

Contrary to remarks made by our president…America was founded as a CHRISTIAN Country.

We are…ONE NATION UNDER GOD!

America…GOD DID shed His grace on thee, and…IN GOD, WE TRUST!

Look up…I promise He will not put on you more than you can bear. He’s with you 24-7.

I know it’s tough. I know I see the goings on in our Country, and you betcha…it ticks me off, but first and foremost, I try to keep the faith, and trust in God.

Yet, all these “Paul’s,” have sold their souls, black, white, green, or brown…

To our politicians.

For a little bit of nothing.

The very politicians these “dumbed down” constituents continue to vote into office, time after time, after time, really couldn’t care less about them…their “constituency.”

I won’t even get into this part, simply because it should be very obvious to see.

“We The People,” have complacently say by and watched our freedoms, our values, our integrity, our Constitution, our Flag, and our National Anthem be walked on, and literally tossed under the bus.

Why?

My thoughts on this is that our politicians used our own Christian morals, our belief in “our system of government,” with its checkpoints and limitations it provided through our Constitution of power allowed…our politicians.

I also know, that these same politicians understood very well our belief in law and order, our system of law, and because of what America WAS, and what it stood for, we’d sit back…and trust in our government, and our voters, to in fact, right the boat.

I gotta say…this has worked out very well, hasn’t it?

Well, actually it HAS worked out very well…FOR…the political elite!

Power and greed…More and more, power and greed!

Yep, this agenda has in fact worked out very well.

Through our belief that our Constitution provided these limitations of power, and our mind set of, “Let’s not rock the boat, let’s not do anything against the law, let’s just sit back, be patient and then…things will be alright.”

Wrong!

Power and greed…this is our Country today.

Political correctness…what’s that all about, anyway?

Funny thing though…how in the world did believing in your Constitution, believing in your right to worship freely, believing that if you’d only work and apply yourself, that in turn, our Country provides you the opportunity…to live the American Dream,” EVER become classified…AS DISSENT???

Take off the gun, and you have exactly what this “gun control” agenda is REALLY ALL ABOUT…

CONTROL!

Look what our politicians have done to us…without gun control. Look at how they literally chunk our Constitution under the bus….and we STILL have the ability to protect ourselves???

What happens when we roll over, and once more give in to our governments wishes of…they know best. “Just listen to us…We’ll make it right.”

Yet they want our guns, but this very same administration advocated, then set in motion… “operation…Fast and Furious.”

Boy, that sure worked out for the Mexican citizens, didn’t it?

Thousands dead, shot by automatic weapons supplied by this administration, who originally, with our media’s help…tried to put the blame on us.

They were claiming it was OUR right to bear arms that allowed these weapons to be bought openly, and because of this…we needed to take a long hard look at…gun control.

It was quite simple to understand, for anybody with a semblance of a brain to know quite well, that automatic weapons are not sold freely in the US…without very, very stringent background checks.

So, ass I said, it WAS quite clear as to where these weapons hittin the streets in Mexico were REALLY comin from!

And…

Ends up…our political powers that be were indeed…letting this take place!

THEN…

They deny it. Then they refuse to dig deep, and prosecute anyone for this atrocity??? Shoot, it’s much easier to simply blame it on you and I… “We The People.”

IF it had been this way…you think anybody would have been held accountable?

Of course they would have!

Hitler once said, “How fortunate for governments that the people they govern…don’t think!”

The law-abiding citizen in this Country abuses their right to bear arms, very, very infrequently. The stats prove this time after time.

They are destroying the family unit as a whole. They TELL us, what our children will eat at school.

They tell us whether we can discipline (NOT ABUSE, although this is the left’s counter to discipline) our own children. Through this, how do you teach your child accountability for THEIR actions?

Time out, you say?

Baloney, says I!

How do you teach them morals and respect?

You don’t!

How bout teaching YOUR children the value of a work ethic, and the ability for them to do literally anything they want, or be anybody they want by running their own business, through hard work and sacrifice?

You don’t!

Shoot, the government today considers a hard work ethic…greedy, selfish, and actually, stealing a piece of the “poor and oppressed” …slice of pie!

Ponder this for only a second or two…

OUR political leaders, most of which HAVE absolutely no idea what so ever of fiscal responsibility, have never run a business, or made a payroll, at least with THEIR OWN MONEY, are telling THEIR CONSTITUENCY” that…we, the working people, the tax payers, the lawful, the believers in our religious and personal freedoms our Country allows us…

Are…the greedy ones here in this picture???

These same people, now have us, our children, our grandchildren, and who knows how many future generations will be affected by this fiscal irresponsibility, are portraying the “engine that runs this Country,” the taxpayers who literally are funding all these “give-away” programs, which by the way, the recipients of this generosity of our, hate us!

Yes, they do!

Why?

Because they’ve been indoctrinated to hate us.

By…once more…our politicians!

Kinda funny though, that our politicians, the very ones who STEAL daily, not only from us, but their own constituents as well…

Paint us…as the greedy ones.

Even funnier is the fact that we’ve set on our backsides for so long, and allowed our government to “dumb us down,” that these poor oppressed…believe now, that what we have…IS THEIRS TOO!

What a crazy, mixed up society we live in today!

We’ve helped poor people out in this Country since its inception…over two hundred years.

Not through the barrel of a gun as Dinesh states, but through OUR OWN generosity, values, and integrity.

Out church, and I’m sure most others have a food pantry.

You come, state you lost your job, can’t feed your family…you walk away with food. Many times even having your power bill, or rent paid too.

Our church doesn’t pay these bills, I don’t think, they might, but I know there are MANY that do…I’m just sayin.

BUT, my point is this is done out of our own generosity and need to have some moral transactions that…make us feel good, about helping a friend, or neighbor out.

That’s all.

This worked.

UNTIL, our politician figured out…we don’t WANT people controlling their own lives, starting up businesses, being successful…cause…we can’t control these people! Shoot, they have…MINDS OF THEIR OWN…God forbid!

What do we do??

We USE this very Democracy…against them!

We USE our citizens giving hearts against them!

We then advocate laws AL:LOWING us to take what we want from the producers, and THEN, GIVE a part of it to…the NON-PRODUCERS!

We PUT people ON WELFARE, and DON’T give them the opportunity to GET OFF WELFARE!

Through this, we create a voting bloc that will continue to grow, and grow, and GROW, until one day…we’ll have power forever!

This “DEMOCRACY THING,” IS GREAT!

Once we have “the numbers” we then have…power…FOR LIFE!

I love America!!

The sad part, and the truth is…NO they don’t love America, not by any means, they HATE America, but sadly, just as they figured out…they CAN, destroy America…from within.

That IS JUST what our current administration would like for you to do! A non-vote for Romney IS a vote for Obama, and you’ve just got to understand this!

Don’t think for one minute that their constituency is gonna sit at home. They’ll be bussed, drug, and pushed to the polls. There’ll be cigarettes and who knows what else passed out to them.
I also saw the “New Black Panthers” will be at certain polling stations…AGAIN…to “monitor the situation.” Wonder what the “political correctness” advocators would have to say about possibly a “New WHITE Panthers” at the stations…monitoring the situation?

Not that I condone such, by “Black OR White Panthers,” but stop and think on this for a moment or two.

Couldn’t happen could it? So, what does that simple example say about the direction of our Country? It ain’t pretty folks!

I live in the “Old South,” yet, unlike what we here from our mainstream media, AND our “Professional political elite” I see very little to NO racism…at least from the whites.

Yet, our President, his administration, and far too many others, the Hollywood crowd as another example, all calling us, the taxpaying, law-abiding, HARD working, believers in our Constitution citizens of our Country…RACIST!!

This is an out an out “political lie” perpetrated by people that are not only UNCONCERNED over their OWN constituents, Our Country, OR the path they’re taking us down as a Country, but for one common goal…THEIR POWER!

Which by the way folks, is really going to make it hard on not only YOUR own children, but their children AND their children, AND their children, and on, and on, and on!

WE ARE THE STOPPING POINT! WE ARE STILL THE POWER. WE ARE THE ONLY CHANCE OUR COUNTRY HAS TO CONTINUE ON THE PATH THAT HAS MADE OUR COUNTRY SO GREAT…FOR SO MANY!

Again…this is why people immigrated to our Country…the opportunity to SUCCEEED. The opportunity TO GROW. The opportunity to MAKE LIFE BETTER, FOR THEM AND THEIR CHILDREN!

YET, for far too long, “We the People” have sat back on our butts, passively, allowing our elected leaders to fill themselves with arrogance, greed, and lust for more, and more, and more!

It isn’t there fault…IT’S OUR FAULT! Complacency. It’s that simple. I’m just as guilty as the next, but dad-gummit, I’ve had enough already! Are you there yet?

We seeing, right before our eyes, our freedoms, morals, and values diminishing daily! We’re seeing the futures of our children becoming more and more that of the children of the “have-nots.”

This being simply…existence, and that is just WHAT OUR GOVERNMENT WANTS FOR THEM…merely, once more…existence!!

Take a look at the majority of these so called, “have-nots.” Why are they classified as…“have-nots?”

How bout simply because they’ve become indoctrinated in a believe that is SO absurd, SO far-fetched, and SO un-Christian like, that has been instilled in them for generations by our politicians.
It is simply called… “WORK-NOTS!”

You want a job, and an opportunity to better yourself and your children?

“WHAT, ARE YOU CRAZY? HAVE YOU LOST YOUR MIND?? H… NO I don’t want no job…I’ll lose “MY…BENEFITS!!”

Well, I’m REALLY tired of letting our government officials decide what I’ll do with MY MONEY! I work, sweat, worry, and pay FAR too much out for what in reality…I bring in. This lessens each year, as well.
Thank you Uncle Sam…for nuthin in this regard, buddy!

I surely don’t mind helping somebody out…not in the least! BUT, in my way of thinking…I ain’t helping NOBODY out who first doesn’t…want to HELP THEMSELVES!

This belief is even in regards to my own children!

Let me give an example of this.

Many of you know that back in my early twenties I became hooked on cocaine. This today is a very embarrassing topic at times, but something that is very important in regards to, “helping out.”

Does anyone think for one minute that I’d have gotten off cocaine, IF, every time I turned around someone was giving me money and making the statement… “Here, here’s some money. I know you’re addicted to drugs, I feel sorry for you, so take this money…and go get something to eat, okay?”

What would I have done? Simple…

I’d have gone and gotten…MORE COCAINE! No doubt!

PLUS, I’d not have appreciated for one minute the “good Samaritan” giving me this money.

I literally would have thought… “What a chump! This is SO easy staying in cocaine! Shoot, every time I turn around, ANOTHER CHUMP, gives me some more! This addiction thing is as easy as sliding down a slide at the park!”

What was I shown instead of handouts? TOUGH LOVE!

The very same is going on with these “have-nots.” They have literally become ADDICTED to this give-away mentality! Seriously, they have!

They don’t need to keep being “handed out” to. THEY NEED SOME TOUGH LOVE!!

This is literally destroying an entire class of people, and through their not thinking things out straight, and sadly, many of them not having the intelligence OR the ability to think things out straight, they’re literally dooming themselves to a life that will NEVER change. Each and every day will be the very same.

YET, THIS IS THE VERY REASON our elected leaders implemented these very programs of… “Entitlements!” PLUS, the very reason they implemented these programs on the class of people they chose from the get go…the very ones THEY KNEW couldn’t or wouldn’t think for themselves!

This was simply premeditated destruction of the very people they so openly profess to… “helping out!”

They NEVER HAVE, nor EVER WILL, be concerned with these people that they so proudly proclaim their concern for. Or as they state, “We champion for!”

They simply USED THEM in their own quest for power! For lack of a better terminology folks…these people are EVIL in every sense of the word!

YET, “WE the PEOPLE” allow them to run roughshod over us as well anymore! All the while each of us knowing the outcome of their agenda if they’re allowed to carry it out!

On top of this, you see example after example, coming from THEIR OWN MOUTHS (the have-nots), that they don’t appreciate any of this (our generosity)…AT ALL!

They too, just like our politicians have become arrogant, and now EXPECT this “Free Everything” to continue on and on, and on!

They also have bought into this “reverse racism” bull…., AND have jumped on the bandwagon that we, simply because of our own skin color, have kept them where they’re at in their lives. This through our thievery of something that SHOULD be part theirs, regardless of whether they contribute “to the kitty” or not!

Again, this all instilled into them by our “elected elite!”

So, to them…We’re Chumps! Really, that’s what we are!

Once more, I don’t mind helping someone out, BUT…I ain’t gonna be regarded as “a chump” while doing it. I’ll simply stop helping…helping those types out anyway! Don’t you guys agree with this?
I mean really, there IS NO WAY you can help someone who doesn’t want to help themselves first! This is a no-brainer!

Enough of that though…

Today is the most important election that I’ve ever been involved in…bar none!

Please go vote.

I could go on and on over all the reasons once more, like “We have to pass the bill to know what’s in it,” or, “In 5 days we’ll fundamentally CHANGE America,” or “Let’s not jump to conclusions over Maj. Nidal Hasan,” or “ Why don’t I wear a flag pin, or give my Flag the proper respect during the National Anthem, ummm, let me count the ways,” or “Sure I’m an American citizen,” or “I am a Christian,” or “Let’s TAKE OVER a private run Corporation, place it under government control, AND GIVE THE UNION 20% of it,” or “Green Energy IS the ticket, but…we’ll waste billions and billions of taxpayer dollars in now defunct green business, but I’m guessing by the time we spend several MORE TRILLION dollars, MAYBE we’ll get it right” or “We’ll SPEND OUR WAY OUTTA DEBT,” or, and THE most important…”It’s Bush’s fault!”

But I won’t go there today…we’ve heard it all before, right?

Okay then…let’s get out and vote…and MAKE SOME CHANGE!

Understand though my friends. IF we get this guy outta office, it is only a FIRST STEP!
We have got to start making our politicians…whatever the Party affiliation…ACCOUNTABLE! Accountable for EVERY cent!

After all, it’s our money, it’s our Country, and it’s OUR WAY OF LIFE!

It is also showing only SOME of what is in this legislation. This too is an example of “We the People” needing to be much more hands on by holding our politicians “feet to the fire.” It is time for our passiveness as a people to cease!

He said to me this morning that the Bible states that God has a hand in electing, or choosing may be the better word, of who our Kings, Queens, Presidents, etc., will be.

In saying this he also stated something I found very disturbing.

This was that, if, we re-elect this same man as President, then does this simply state that God is punishing us in some ways, and that through our own doings, such as turning our backs on God, and taking God out of SO many things in our Country…we’re in for some very troubling times?

Personally, I feel this could very well be.

We don’t have to look far to see many examples of our elected elite taking many religious values and freedoms from us…there’s that “political correctness thing” again! I’m bout to the point of shoving this political correctness thing up their ying-yang!

Manger scenes being declared not acceptable during Christmas season because they offend certain people. Prayer taken out of schools. Merely saying “Merry Christmas” to someone, and the list goes on and on!

Our religious freedoms ARE being taken from us…little by little.

“The president shall have the power to fill up all vacancies that may happen during a recess of the Senate” The Constitution Article 11, Section 2

When on January 20, 2009, Barack Obama swore to defend the Constitution; he did not mean all of it. He evidently believes that the provisions quoted above merely expresses the Founders ‘now anachronistic anxieties about abuses of executive powers. So on Jan. 4, 2012, Obama simply ignored the Recess Clause to fill 3 seats on the National Labor Board, even though the Senate said it “was not in recess. Obama” cheeky response was” when I decide what “recess” means.

The Recess Clause states that only the president’s power extends only to vacancies that ‘happen” while the Senate is in recess… The Framers wrote the Recess Clause to give the president very limited time, as little as 10 days to fill vacancies. Congress has adopted the practice of conducting pro forma sessions, so the Senate is not in recess while many of the Senators are not present. The Senate was holding such sessions every 3 days when Obama banded the settled for presidents respecting this practice. He treated the Senate’s unwillingness to act on his NLRB nominations as an inability to act, and said this inability constituted a de facto recess.

Consider this episode when deciding whether on January 20, 2013 he should again have a chance swear to only selectively defend the Constitution

Former U.S Senator Arlen Spector, died at the age of 84, the outspoken Pennsylvania centrist whose switch from Republican to Democrat ended a 30 year career Announcing the diagnoses with his trade mark doggedness, Spector said “ I have beaten a brain tumor, bypass heart surgery , and many tough political opponents and I’m going to beat this, too”….When we were building the Scranton Mall, he would show up in time to have his photo and a few words for the press…..he was sort of an odd ball, but I believe he was an honest one.

THE ESSENTIAL OBAMA……..BY EMMETT TYRRELL JR.

WASHINGTON – Well, apparently I am not crazy after all. The polls have caught up with me, and they — après le debate — are coming around to my point of view. Governor Mitt Romney is ahead in the race for the White House, and he will probably be residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in 2013. President Barack Obama looked great at most official functions. Beginning with Ron Susskind’s fine book, “Confidence Men,” and continuing on to Bob Woodward’s recent “The Price of Politics,” it has been increasingly apparent that this president does not sit through meetings — even national security briefings — does not know how to make or implement policy and much prefers to gabble on and on, preferably with the assistance of a teleprompter. And to think the official party line on Obama has been that he is eloquent. I think the wind came out of that legend when in debate the other night Romney said, “Look, I’ve been in business for 25 years. I have no idea what you’re talking about.” All true blue Obama fans — and even I — expected the president to come back with any one of a half-dozen witty zingers. How about a rude reference to Bain Capital? Yet, Obama looked glassy-eyed and the ref, Jim Lehrer, stepped in. Moreover, Obama continued to be wobbly and evasive in response to Romney’s challenges. Some Obama fans blamed the ref, though if not for him Obama could have suffered bodily injury.

After four years in the White House, our ceremonial president is presiding over the weakest recovery of modern times. He presides over low growth, high unemployment and trillion dollar deficits every year of his presidency. All he is offering the electorate in the next four years is more of the same. Jimmy Carter could not get reelected with such a shaky strategy and neither will Obama. Furthermore last month his foreign policy went poof right in front of him. His nonsense about leading from behind, deferring to international organizations, and paying obeisance to Arab militants has been seen for what it is, a warrant for invading our diplomatic installations in foreign lands. In Libya the animals slaughtered our ambassador, and the evidence is clear, to wit, the ambassador was seeking more security at the time of his death and being rebuffed. Remember Benghazi!

The debate last week was a classic. Romney put together the finest showing of any presidential candidate in the history of televised debates. He did it by speaking of his record and in speaking of Obama’s record. Yet, he did something more. James Rosen of Fox News took notice with a lapidary remark: Romney “delivered one of the great defenses of the free market ever given to an audience of this size. Obama seemed intimidated and adrift with the material. His constructions were lengthy and complex, whereas Romney’s were clear and commanding and fluid. Even if Romney loses on November 6, this still goes down as an epic electronic-age primer on various models of economics that Ronald Reagan couldn’t even deliver; and Milton Friedman never addressed an audience of this size. At all points, Romney returned to the theme of competition as a driver of reduced costs and improved quality.” Rosen concluded: “Romney also delivered the sharpest elbow of the night, with the reference to Obama’s campaign contributors: the closest thing to the pressing of a charge of corruption.”

Now let me make a prediction. Romney will not lose on November 6. Obama will continue to perform wretchedly in debate. He is not going to do better. What you saw last week was the essential Barack Obama, community organizer and part-time senator.

JOE WAS THE ONLY ONE LAUGHING…..”If a wise man has an argument with a fool, the fool only rages and laughs. And there is no quiet”

Conventional wisdom says that vice presidential debates don’t move the needle in elections, and last night’s debate was probably no exception. That said, Thursday night’s debate couldn’t have contrasted two more different candidates. Paul Ryan, the respectful, serious and earnest policy wonk, against Joe Biden, who behaved like a drunken clown and a jerk and paid due homage to the mascot of the Democrat Party — the Jackass.

On substance, Ryan held his own against Vice President Chuckles, despite having to face a second debate opponent in “moderator” Martha Raddatz of ABC News. Yet on style, whether the subject was the terrorist attack on our Libyan embassy, the ailing economy or abortion, Biden smiled, laughed, sneered, rolled his eyes and strategically interrupted Ryan every time the congressman hit his stride on an answer. And if it wasn’t Biden interrupting, it was Raddatz.

Biden is obviously a disciple of Saul Alinksy, who in his “Rules for Radicals,” Rule No. 5, said, “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.” Clearly, the Obama team decided that the president’s failure last week was that he was “too polite,” and that Biden had to use ridicule to shore up their anxious base. The result was appalling, but then again, Biden has been rehearsing his socialist obfuscation and diversion in Washington for 40 years.

With that, here are a few high and low lights.

Libya: Biden blamed the intelligence community for the ever-changing story coming from the White House, and flat out lied when he claimed ignorance as a defense. “[W]e weren’t told they wanted more security” at the embassy, he said.. But the bottom line is that the whole episode is, as Ryan responded, “indicative of a broader problem,” and we’re witnessing “the unraveling of the Obama foreign policy.”

Iran: Biden made the ridiculous assertion that even though Iran has spent the last four years further developing fissile material for a nuclear weapon, “they have to be able to have something to put it in. There is no weapon that the Iranians have at this point.” Well, building a bomb to “put it in” is the easy part. When the argument shifted to how the ayatollah sees it, Biden argued that the administration’s “most crippling sanctions in the history of sanctions, period,” have the Iranians looking at an “economy being crippled … the currency going into the tank … [and] the economy going into free fall.” We wondered if he meant the Iran economy or the U.S. economy. Maybe the administration should ease up on sanctions here at home.

Economy: We have to give Raddatz props for asking Biden why White House projections of unemployment under 6 percent were so wrong, but Biden immediately defaulted to blaming Bush. He then berated Mitt Romney for wanting to “let Detroit go bankrupt,” in contrast to the administration, which “rescued General Motors.” What he neglected to mention was that Detroit did go bankrupt — the White House just made sure the unions came out okay.

Biden then proceeded to the usual leftist class warfare, accusing Republicans of holding the middle class “hostage” to tax cuts “for the super wealthy.” Yet tax policy should be about growth, not “fair shares” and “economic patriotism,” as Barack Obama put it last week. As Ryan noted, “The economy is barely limping along. It’s growing at 1.3 percent. That’s slower than it grew last year and last year was slower than the year before.” The Romney/Ryan tax cut plan — a 20 percent cut across the board with reforms to deductions and credits — is first and foremost a pro-growth plan. The so-called “cost” of cutting those taxes will be more than offset by economic growth. Ryan tried to note despite rude interruption that John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan did the same thing with great success, contrary to the leftist assertion that we “can’t afford” it and that the Bush-era tax cuts caused the current deficits.

As for unemployment, the real (U-6) rate, which includes those who are underemployed and those who have become discouraged and simply given up looking for work, is reported as 14.7 percent but, as with U-3, is probably much higher. In addition, the real unemployed and underemployed ranks of Americans have swollen to more than 20 million, households considered impoverished have grown to one in six, and there are 47 million food stamp recipients — up 50 percent since Obama’s election. Obama has also amassed $5 trillion in new debt, and our national debt now totals $16 trillion, which for the first time in history now exceeds U.S. annual economic output. Finally, median household income has declined by $4,520 (8.2 percent) since Obama took office (that’s the real “Obama tax”), energy prices have doubled because of Obama restrictions, and economic growth has slowed to an anemic 1.3 percent.

Biden made hay of Romney’s statement about 47 percent not paying federal income taxes, but that created an opening for Ryan’s best zinger of the night: “I think the vice president very well knows that sometimes the words don’t come out of your mouth the right way.”

Medicare and Social Security: Ryan hit the most critical point, saying, “Medicare and Social Security are going bankrupt. These are indisputable facts.” He noted that Democrats “got caught with their hands in the cookie jar, turning Medicare into a piggybank for ObamaCare,” taking $716 billion from future Medicare outlays to make ObamaCare look less expensive, but in essence trying to spend the same dollar twice. Biden countered with the same lie about Ryan’s “voucher” plan supposedly costing seniors $6,400 a year when it does nothing of the sort. Biden’s real assertion is the same old canard that markets and competition don’t work, only government does.

Taxes: This was largely covered under the economy section, but it was at this point that Ryan really nailed it: “[W]e think that government taking 28 percent of a family and business’s income is enough. President Obama thinks that the government ought to be able to take as much as 44.8 percent of a small business’s income.” And, given that “[e]ight out of 10 businesses file their taxes as individuals, not as corporations,” this is key.

Afghanistan: Ryan took issue with Obama’s withdrawal deadline because “we don’t want to lose the gains we’ve gotten. We want to make sure that the Taliban does not come back in and give al-Qa’ida a safe haven.” That’s exactly what’s beginning to happen under the current commander in chief. Biden’s reply was essentially that deadlines are good for cooperation. And, he noted, “I’ve been throughout that whole country, mostly in a helicopter, and sometimes in a vehicle.” Well then, that settles it!

Religion and abortion: This is not the top issue for most voters, but the candidates answers certainly were a window into their philosophies. While both men are Catholic, only one of them expressed genuine faith. Ryan noted that “reason and science” go hand in hand with his faith, saying that, when they saw the “seven-week ultrasound for our firstborn child, and we saw the heartbeat,” it confirmed to him that “life begins at conception.” Biden agreed, “Life begins at conception in the church’s judgment. I accept it in my personal life.” And yet somehow, in public policy, he’s determined to protect not that innocent life but a woman’s right to “control [her] body.” His faith teaches that abortion is murder, yet he thinks it should be legal and funded by the federal government. The contradiction was stunning.

Biden also played fast and loose with verb tenses in claiming that Catholic institutions don’t have to pay for contraception, per the ObamaCare mandate. They will next year. And Ryan responded with a simple question: If the administration is so great on religious liberty, “Why would they keep suing you?”

In closing: Biden struck the pose of the used-car salesman trying to make a deal with a sucker: “Who you gonna trust, me or your lyin’ eyes?” Ryan contrasted the two approaches, listing all of Obama’s unkept promises, and saying, “The choice is clear: a stagnant economy that promotes more government dependency or a dynamic, growing economy that promotes opportunity and jobs. … [W]e will not try to replace our founding principles. We will reapply our founding principles.” That would indeed be an excellent place to start.

Campaign Trail: Obama’s Money Machine

A scandal is brewing over potential campaign-finance violations by the Obama campaign, but it’s not getting much press coverage. A new report by the Government Accountability Institute (GAI) notes that the Obama campaign has extraordinarily lax online security that leaves it open to receiving foreign and fraudulent donations. The 108-page study points out that the official Obama campaign website requires a credit card security code to purchase merchandise but not to make a contribution. It also doesn’t have a strong address verification system, which, like the security code, is a standard tool used in e-commerce.

The Federal Election Commission doesn’t require candidates to maintain basic credit card security procedures for online transactions, nor does it require recipients to record and track donations under $200. The problem here is that without proper security protocols in place, there is no way to determine if candidates are accepting foreign donations, which is illegal. But one might easily believe that the Obama campaign deliberately shirked these online security protocols in order to accept illegal foreign donations.

For 10 months during this election cycle, the campaign’s official website, BarackObama.com, received visitors redirected from a privately owned site, Obama.com. The latter URL was purchased in 2008 by businessman and Obama supporter Robert Roche, a China-based U.S. citizen with strong ties to several state-controlled financial institutions. The lax security procedures at BarackObama.com meant there was no way of knowing if any of the 68 percent of the foreign visitors to the Roche-owned site made illegal contributions to the president’s campaign. But we do know that Obama has raised over $270 million in contributions under $200. And we also know that in his 2008 campaign Obama raised $335 million in contributions under $200 with a similar open-door contribution policy and overall lack of transparency.

News From the Swamp: Senators Meet to Avoid Fiscal Cliff

A group of eight senators met this week to try to carve out a deal to prevent the country from going over a fiscal cliff that will hit taxpayers with a massively larger bill come January. The three-day meeting included four Republicans — Saxby Chambliss (GA), Mike Crapo (ID), Tom Coburn (OK), Mike Johanns (NE) — and four Democrats — Michael Bennet (CO), Kent Conrad (ND), Dick Durbin (IL), Mark Warner (VA). Also in attendance was Alan Simpson, co-chair of the 2010 Simpson-Bowles debt reduction commission.

The three-day gathering was the latest in a series of failed attempts to come up with a workable plan to tackle the mounting federal debt, and the attendees aimed to come up with a framework for broader debate once the Senate reconvenes after the election. No details of the framework have emerged, but Washington’s track record on the issue doesn’t offer high hopes. Obama helped craft the Simpson-Bowles commission himself only to later reject the commission’s findings. Since then Congress has repeatedly failed to devise a plan on which Republicans and Democrats can agree. If Congress does nothing, the ruinous tax increase will likely push the economy over a cliff and back into recession.

Another Voter ID Law Upheld, if Delayed

A three-judge panel of the Fourth District Court of Appeals in Washington, DC, upheld South Carolina’s voter ID law this week, the second defeat for proponents of voter fraud in as many weeks. Last week, Pennsylvania’s law was upheld. The headlines for both rulings, however, blared that judges had “blocked” the laws. In reality, the judges acknowledged that the rulings were too close to the election to be reasonably enforced by then, and so deferred enforcement until next year. In neither case did the judges find fault with the laws themselves. The only victory the Obama Justice Department can claim in challenging these laws is that they successfully delayed them until after Barack Obama’s re-election opportunity.
Voter fraud came into play again this week when Obama supporters were caught on camera offering aid to investigators pretending to be seeking to vote for Obama more than once. No wonder Democrats object to the supposedly “racist” hindrance of having to present a photo ID at the polls before voting.

Income Redistribution: Food Stamps Hit Another Peak

Lost in the hoopla about a deceptive employment report released last Friday was a cruel reminder that our economic recovery is far from complete — the number of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program recipients hit a record 46.68 million in July. Yes, one out of every seven Americans receives government help to buy food, at a monthly cost exceeding $6 billion. But hey, Obama cares.

While the USDA summary blamed the jump on weather-related issues in some parts of the country, the depressing fact is that the number of recipients has exceeded 46 million every month since last September, meaning that ever more people grow ever more dependent upon governmental assistance every day because their long-term employment prospects are bleak.

Few know more about lengthy stays on the unemployment line than the typical construction worker. Since construction employment peaked at 7.7 million in April 2006, the industry has shed more than two million jobs, with over one million of them during Obama’s term alone. This despite the $833 billion “stimulus” that promised “shovel-ready” projects to recover 400,000 of those jobs.

Instead, we’ve seen more and more once-proud workers forced onto food stamp rolls by the sheer necessity of needing to somehow feed a family. All Democrats seem to have stimulated is the caseload of thousands of government employees needed to continue refilling those electronic benefit transfer cards, month after agonizing month.

Picking — and Creating — the Losers

The $90 billion in “stimulus” debt spent on green energy was intended to jumpstart an industry the Obama administration wagered would be the wave of the future. But they failed to take a key aspect of the energy industry into account, as natural gas prices plunged thanks to new technology for extraction. That drop in natural gas prices has eased demand for coal, but Barack Obama’s pledge to make electricity more expensive is assisted by regulations that might force the closing of coal-fired plants accounting for a quarter of coal’s power production share. A study by energy industry experts calculated that utilities would need between $126 and $144 billion to retrofit and replace all that coal capacity.

The government won’t help utilities invest in fossil fuels, but they’re only too happy to support those who waste government subsidies with impunity. After the well-publicized failures of Solyndra, Ener1, and other “green energy” companies, two more companies are on the ropes after receiving millions. Abound Solar, recipient of $68 million (of about $370 million promised), filed for bankruptcy earlier this year. That’s hardly news except that Abound has also skipped out on nearly $2 million in unpaid property taxes and sold a product described as “working well unless the sun hit it.” Abound’s panels have an annoying tendency to underperform or even catch fire if the sun hits them.

In another success story, the future battery maker for the Chevy Volt has placed its employees on rotating furloughs due to a lack of demand. Compact Power, whose plant was built with $150 million in federal funds, hasn’t yet made a single battery for the Volt or a planned electric Ford Focus. But the lack of Volt sales has created a ripple effect at the Michigan plant that’s supposed to begin producing the batteries for it next year. The Volt’s batteries are currently made by a plant in South Korea, hardly a hotbed of American jobs.

Security Department of Military Readiness: Romney’s Foreign Policy Foray Barack Obama’s foreign policy took a solid flogging this week at the hands of presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, just in time for his senior accomplice, vice president Joe Biden, to defend it against vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan in round two of the debates. Romney pointed out the long trail of foreign policy missteps and humiliations inflicted by Team Hope ‘n’ Change. Among them: the blatant snubbing of our otherwise-close ally, Israel; the grave threat of allowing Iran’s nuclear ambitions to continue to develop; the stiff finger we gave to the millions who filled the streets of Iran in 2009 demanding freedom from an oppressive government; the dramatic cuts in our defense, leaving the U.S. in a weaker position to defend its vital interests abroad; and, most recently, the passive stance on the terrorist attacks on our embassies in the Middle East, culminating in deaths of four Americans, including one U.S. ambassador in Libya. While Obamaphiles drag the same tattered suit out of the closet, repeating, “The tide of war is receding,” the rest of the planet realizes the tide is not receding — it’s regrouping.

Romney apparently “gets” the threat from that tide, noting the substantial difference between administrations of the past and this one. Highlighting the critical role leadership plays in foreign affairs, Romney stated, “It is the responsibility of our president to use America’s great power to shape history — not to lead from behind, leaving our destiny at the mercy of events.” Driving the point home, Romney said, “I know the president hopes for a safer, freer and a more prosperous Middle East allied with the United States. I share this hope. But hope is not a strategy.” Likewise, while killing Osama bin Laden was a credit-worthy achievement, it, too, doesn’t amount to a coherent foreign policy. The threat from al-Qa’ida remains. Nor does a “run-for-the-exits” political move amount to a strategy.

How does Governor Romney propose to undo this mess? Simple: Leadership. Specifically, Romney outlined key pieces of his foreign policy that differed from the status quo. These include beefing up defense so that our words can be “backed up by deeds”; putting rogue nations like Iran on notice that the days of attempting to acquire “the bomb” are over through more stringent sanctions and, if necessary, actions; reaffirming ties with Israel and other Gulf “partners” by employing the old Arabian adage, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend”; reforming foreign assistance to bolster freedom, free enterprise and rule-of-law governance among nations we help; and championing free trade as a strategic tool of freedom, generally. Regarding this last point, Romney noted that Obama hasn’t signed a single new free-trade agreement during his tenure.

At least the military appreciates Romney’s straight-shooting approach. In a recent poll by the Military Times, former and current U.S. military personnel favor Romney over Obama by more than two-to-one, with character and economy handily besting other considerations, including national security, as factors. While we are not so naïve to presume that foreign policy is the pivotal issue in this election — either for former or current military members or for the rest of America — it’s certainly at least one among many important reasons why the Dear Leader must be ousted in November. No less than the fate of the nation hangs in the balance.

Warfront With Jihadistan: Changing the Tune Yet Again

Since the attacks on U.S. embassies in Libya, Egypt, Yemen and Tunisia on and around the anniversary of 9/11, we have chronicled the ever-changing story of the Obama administration. This week, the State Department claimed that it was “not our conclusion” that the protest and ensuing murders in Benghazi were caused by the anti-Islam movie trailer on YouTube. Yet White House officials, including Barack Obama himself in his shameful UN speech and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, repeatedly blamed the violence on the video. Now State wants us to believe that they never believed what they continued to say.

Not only didn’t they believe their own spin, but the State Department also now says there wasn’t a protest at all. The murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens, two former Navy SEALs and another security officer was simply the deliberate work of al-Qa’ida terrorists. This is finally a credible story, but why did it take a month for them to admit it?

In related news, Obama bragged while on the campaign trail of his foreign-policy promises kept. “Now, four years ago, I made a few commitments to you,” said Obama. “I told you I’d end the war in Iraq, and I did. I said I’d end the war in Afghanistan, and we are. I said we’d refocus on the people who actually attacked us on 9/11 — and today, al-Qa’ida is on its heels and Osama bin Laden is no more.”

His claims are full of holes. If al-Qa’ida successfully executed an attack on our embassies on the anniversary of their most successful terrorist attack, how exactly are they “on their heels”? They also killed a security official at the embassy in Yemen Thursday.

Furthermore, reports the Associated Press, “Al-Qaida is rebuilding in Iraq and has set up training camps for insurgents in the nation’s western deserts as the extremist group seizes on regional instability and government security failures to regain strength, officials say. Iraq has seen a jump in al-Qaida attacks over the last 10 weeks, and officials believe most of the fighters are former prisoners who have either escaped from jail or were released by Iraqi authorities for lack of evidence after the U.S. military withdrawal last December.”

It’s almost as if the commander in chief doesn’t want to lead the world’s only super power.

Immigration Front: Border Patrol Agent Update

Last week, we noted that U.S. Border Patrol Agent Nicholas Ivie was killed in the line of duty, and we pondered if there was a connection with Fast and Furious. Tragically, however, it turns out that Ivie was killed by friendly fire.

According to the Associated Press, “The head of the U.S. Border Patrol agents’ union says the agent killed last week in a shooting in southern Arizona apparently opened fire on two colleagues thinking they were armed smugglers and was killed when they returned fire.” He died at the scene. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ivie’s wife and two children.

United States Navy Birthday

On Oct. 13, 1775, the U.S. Navy was born when the Continental Congress authorized the arming of two sailing vessels with 80 men and 10 carriage guns in order to intercept British supply and munitions transports. The Declaration of Independence came nine months later, followed by the creation of the Department of the Navy in 1798. Today, our Navy is the most powerful in the world. Second Amendment: The Chicago Way

Crime is up in Chicago this year (and not just due to the Obama campaign), with murders increasing a staggering 25 percent from last year’s already incredibly high body count. The city and surrounding Cook County have over 9,00 inmates, almost the local jail’s capacity of 10,155. Throw in street gangs, drug use, high-school dropouts, and it’s obvious what needs to be done in Chicago: Tax guns and ammunition. Because all gangsters will pay taxes when they buy their legal guns and ammo.

Once again blaming inanimate objects instead of criminals, Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle wants to impose a “violence tax” on guns and ammunition sold in the city and suburbs. “If we were to pursue a tax on something like guns and ammo … it is consistent with our commitment to pursuing violence reduction in the city and in the county,” Kurt Summers, Preckwinkle’s chief of staff, said, adding that the idea is to reduce the number of guns in circulation. Left unexplained, of course, was how removing objects that don’t commit violence will reduce violence, but leftist logic has always been sketchy. We propose a violence tax on the perps illegally using firearms to commit violent crime. Say, 20 to 30?

Gun rights proponents rightfully vow to fight Preckwinkle’s tax idea. “This is just another example of the blame game. … [T]hey want to make legal gun owners — guys like me — the scapegoat,” said Todd Vandermyde, an NRA lobbyist who works in Springfield. He said this is an unfair tax on a constitutional right that will mostly hurt the poor.

Two bills in the Illinois legislature would create an explicit tax on ammunition, but both bills are currently parked in the House Rules Committee. These types of tax attacks on constitutional rights have been tried before and been successfully defeated. Let’s hope these two bills share the same fate.

Leftists Use Science to Justify Trampling Religious Liberty

Four hundred years after the Pilgrims journeyed to the New World in search of religious liberty, the president of this New World has been waging war against that religious liberty. Last week on the campaign trail, Barack Obama boasted of ObamaCare’s mandate that employers purchase insurance to cover contraception, including abortifacients: “I don’t think a college student … should have to choose between textbooks or the preventive care that she needs. That’s why we passed this law. And I am proud of it.”

He claims to allow exemptions for religious organizations, but even this flies in the face of liberty by relegating religious practice to the realm of “tolerated” rather than “free.” And in order to receive an exemption, an organization must meet Obama’s criteria of “religious,” which apparently a Bible publisher does not. Tyndale House Publishers, the Christian publisher named after William Tyndale, who was strangled and burned at the stake in 1536 for translating the Bible into English, sued the government over the mandate. If a Bible publisher isn’t religious, we’re not sure what is. Of course, if Tyndale set up shop in a government park or building, we imagine the administration would sing a different tune.

Supporting Obama’s war on religion, a new study found that free birth control results in significantly lower abortion and teen-birth rates. The study tracked 9,000 St. Louis women from 2008 to 2010 and concluded that, when unhindered by costs, women select more effective contraceptives — namely, implanted devices — over birth-control pills, thereby reducing the rate of pregnancy. Predictably, the authors claim that this proves ObamaCare’s contraception mandate works. What these results fail to address, however, are the myriad consequences of promiscuous sexual activity: STDs, emotional distress, family breakdown — the list goes on. The truth is that there is something that neutralizes all of these plus unintended pregnancies and works 100 percent of the time. It’s called abstinence. But to say so is akin to splashing leftists with holy water.

Faith and Family: Protestants Now a Minority

The U.S. made history this year. For the first time ever, Protestants represented less than half the population. The Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life reports that just 48 percent of Americans can be classified as Protestant. For the first time, no Protestants hold seats on the Supreme Court, and the GOP presidential ticket has no Protestants. Much of the change is due to the growth of nondenominational churches, which aren’t classified as Protestant, as well as a sharp increase in those who claim no religion at all.

The study seems to be another indicator that we are becoming ever more like Western Europe — a post-Christian nation saddled with a massive debt-financed welfare state because the church is largely absent. The non-religious tend to vote Democrat at least as heavily as Evangelical Christians vote Republican, and the latter seems to be a shrinking population. We would note that the GOP has largely failed to make the case that smaller government benefits people of all stripes and religious backgrounds, and that one need not embrace religion to support and defend our Constitution. But if the trend continues — not to mention the trend of minorities voting Democrat — the GOP could be in serious electoral jeopardy.

And Last…

Are you planning to carve a pumpkin for Halloween but unsure what design to carve? Well, you’re in luck, because Obama’s Energy Department has some helpful suggestions. “Green energy is going orange for Halloween,” reports CNS News, “as the U.S. Energy Department offers downloadable pumpkin-carving patterns on its website. The ‘Energy-ween’ designs include a windmill, solar panel, and compact fluorescent light bulb.” Those may not be the brightest ideas, but on the other hand, the sheer quantity of taxpayer money wasted on these projects is pretty scary. Perhaps we should just cut right to the chase and carve the scariest Jack-o-lantern of all: One that says, “$16,000,000,000,000.”

Tonight (Sorry, I posted AP’s article late)the President and Romney go at each other again, with another LEFTY as moderator. The format will be “town hall sryle” where the questions will come from the audience, you can be sure that each side will have “stooges” asking some of the questions, with Obama will come out swinging, with the 47% as a prime topic. If Romney can keep his cool and concentrate on Obama’s record. Then I believe we will be HOME……..see ya’all in the funny papers……..AP

You know, in regards to expressing my personal views involving politics today, I’ve gotten to the point where it really saddens me in my attempt to understand the path we’re being led down anymore as a Country.

I try and rationalize steps I see being implemented by our government, and keep an open mind in their regard. Maybe it’s because of this, maybe the reasoning for this decision was because of that, yet once I get down to the nitty-gritty I see only one outcome…basically, total governmental control and the advocating of a socialist agenda.

To me personally I see the end of our Republic looming on the horizon. To stop this steady march towards an end I surely don’t want to see, not so much for me, but for my children and grandchildren.

I’ve lived and experienced being a part of, and living in, the greatest Country on earth…the United States of America. If we’re not very, very careful, this legacy will come to an end.

Deb and I want to write about gardening, canning our vegetables, the benefits derived from juicing and eating good, fresh vegetables. We want to laugh and cut-up with you guys. We want to enjoy our lives, as we always have, and now that we too are getting older, we’d like a sustainable lifestyle, and a certain financial future.

We’ve sacrificed and worked hard for this, but sadly today, with our economy teetering on the brink of financial collapse, we aren’t so sure, so certain of our future. This is not because of decisions we’ve made, but atrocious and outrageous decisions made by our elected officials.

Then, their backing by the mainstream media of a political agenda being reported to the people, and not the truth. This is very worrying to me!

You know, I posted yesterday about, “Political Correctness Be Damned.” I talked about our elected leaders and our media declaring that “we the people,” need to be compassionate towards the poor and oppressed. We should want to help.

My first response to such an accusation is anger. Honestly, it angers me to no end. First off, this accusation is an out and out lie. But, so is the same accusation that I didn’t vote for Barack Hussein Obama because he was black, or basically that I’m a racist. This too is an out and out lie!

But…my point today is about wasting my hard earned money on…deadbeats! Yeah, I know, that’s a pretty harsh accusation in its own right, but it is the truth in many, many instances! I’m only calling it as I see it!

On top of this, the people passing out my hard earned money are incompetents! Incompetents…with no accountability in taking care of…my money and YOUR money!

Literally, there IS NO accountability! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m sick of this!

A few examples I Googled up this morning after seeing on our local news about more governmental program fraud through giveaways! Again, this is sickening, and outrageous in the simple fact…NO ONE is accountable!

First of all, taking, and that’s exactly what it is, but stealing is the more appropriate term, from one individual to GIVE, no less, to another individual!

It is…the buying of votes! Compassion plays no role in this conversation, yet, that’s exactly what we’re accused of…having no compassion for, quote, unquote, “the less fortunate!”

You want to talk about having NO compassion? How about the total destruction of a man or woman’s desire to better themselves, to grow and prosper, and to live the American Dream through a good, honest work ethic?

Are the teachings, or indoctrination of people that you’re ENTITLED to free food, free housing, free cell phones, free everything, a show of compassion? Of course it isn’t! Yet this is what our politicians have promised them!

This is THEIR idea of compassion, or what they have panned off on their constituents, AS compassion! They started in the inner cities, and now for decades have had these poor people under their thumb with the promise of even MORE “entitlements!”

Have these people’s lives been made more enjoyable on account of the giveaways? Just stop and look at the crime in these areas. Hell, the police won’t go into many of these areas, because of the crime. Violent crime! Yet our politicians consider themselves compassionate.

They, our powers that be, have destroyed these people’s souls through such blatant misuse of their power. They have not helped these people through compassion, they’ve ruined them. They’ve convinced them that you and I the taxpayer have cheated them out of their fair share.

Now today, these people don’t have the work ethic, the motivation, the desire, or the need to look for employment. They don’t have the gumption to go out, start a new business, and become productive themselves in our society.

In turn, by doing so, they’d be helping our Country to grow, stay strong, and maintain the freedoms we’ve always enjoyed!

Is this not sad? It is to me. To destroy a man’s soul is just got to be one of the greatest sins against God, against mankind, and against your own soul. Yet, it doesn’t seem to bother our officials in the least. Power, pure greed and influence is what this is about.

It’s so sad that their constituents either don’t have the intelligence to see this is only a scam, and that their elected officials have NO compassion for them in the least, or they’re so narrow minded they just frankly, don’t care!

You guys know also that to the media and many in power today we’re considered, as conservatives and many Independents, as racist. It baffles me that this is an accusation thrown our way, yet many, many people of color in power ,know the true agenda behind these give-aways yet endorse them fully.

I’m the racist here, according to the left, yet I could not condone for one second my KNOWINGLY hurting another individual’s right to work, raise their family, or better themselves!

Yet the ones calling for us to “have compassion, and to share in our good fortune,” are causing people to live deeper and deeper into poverty day by day.

Plus, by doing so, they too, through taxation, regulation, unionization, and theft, are burdening “we the people” with a financial obligation we cannot continue to sustain at the very same time. Killing two birds with one stone is a good analogy. This IS orchestrated, this is the plan, and this is our future, mark my word!

A couple examples…well, several examples of no accountability through give-away programs.

Understand this does not include governmental agencies such as the Postal Service, Am-trak, our politicians “golden” retirement plans, pensions, or health care. All which anymore are unwarranted, undeserved, and in reality are theft as well.

• Two Westbury women allegedly conspired with a child care provider to steal $4,988 from the welfare system when they signed attendance sheets indicating their children were attending taxpayer-funded day care during a period when their children were out of town or out of the country for more than a month.

• A 52-year-old Plainview woman and her husband allegedly failed to report their true income resulting in $33,618 in illegally obtained Medicaid benefits.

• A 56-year-old East Meadow man allegedly failed to disclose his true income and falsely stated that he was working part-time at a pizzeria in order to illegally qualify for $15,844 in Medicaid and Food Stamps benefits. A DSS investigation revealed that the pizzeria that the man reportedly worked for does not exist and that he is employed as an “executive chef” at an upscale restaurant.

Over about 20 months, Juma and two other men at his store scammed the food stamp program out of more than $857,000.

Is this incredible? Have you ever heard, or seen before such examples of incompetence? This is OUR money my friends?

Honestly this has to stop. This is not right to take from one and give to another. It is wrong! The examples above are just mere drops in the buckets of what goes on daily across our Country.

I WILL help my neighbor, my friend, my family. Hell, I’ve stopped before and helped people I had NO clue who, or what they, were. This is, through my own upbringing, the Christian thing to do. I don’t mind.

I DO mind the government first, falsely accusing me of being non-compassionate, even racist, if I disagree with them period. This too is a form of indoctrination of the very same people, once again, they are supposedly helping out…through these programs.

They are teaching them literally that what’s mine is also theirs, even to the extent of violence against the taxpayer, who in turn is funding their entitlement anyway. It’s not Obama, Pelosi, Reid, or even Romney or any other politico…it IS the taxpayer who funds this!

Yet, we the haves (what little Deb and I do have), are evil, corrupt, and greedy, according to the have-nots. All through their indoctrination by their own leaders that yes, this is true! Talking about putting “a spin” on things??

This has become so obviously a political ploy, or agenda, for continued political power, that in all honesty it is treason, pure and simple! It is!

Is not the undermining or destruction of a Democratic society, built upon and around a Constitution, a Bill of Rights, and the guaranteed freedoms of that Country’s citizens an act of treason? Of course it is. Yet this is exactly what is going on in our Country today! Open, arrogant, blatant political misuse of power! The destruction of our Country as we know it!

Interesting comments on governmental employee benefits, plus the giveaway programs. The comparison to Greece is interesting as well.

He also claims we can’t stop the giveaways (entitlements and pensions) on account of anarchy and violence in our streets. Where did this problem start? Politicians in their quest for buying the votes, their political power, and total control over “we the people.” All at our loss, and their gain!

We cannot sustain this. Personally, I would like to see these “entitlements” reigned in. I advocate help for our elderly, our handicapped, and our veterans. This I have no problem with.

Financial help for deadbeats (see above examples of fraud with our, the taxpayer monies), ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT entitlements (what is that all about in the first place), and “golden” government pensions…tossed in the trash! This once more is theft of our money, and in the bigger picture, the theft of our Country!!

As bad as I’d hate to see it, violence in the streets at this point, may be the ONLY solution we have to get these outrageous and unsustainable programs stopped. Terrible as this is to say, and honestly, I do not condone violence, BUT, I do not condone the destruction of our Country either.

This has to stop somewhere.
