It’s been an awful long time since I’ve posted, and to be honest…it feels good!

I’ll begin to start doing some of this again.

I thought I’d speak a little this morning on not our, or any other all natural products, but the challenges of our faith in regards to the political agendas today in our Country, and the world in general, or better known as….

The “C” word.

We are firm believers in our faith…Our Christian faith.

I’m not here to beat you over the head in regards to our faith, but simply to express some thoughts of mine in its regard…and they’re exactly that, thoughts of mine.

If you happen to believe along my lines of thought, that’s great, and God Bless.

If you don’t, then that’s great too. That IS your right as an American, but in the same breath, it seems anyone who doesn’t feel the same way I do, does in fact get to beat me over the head with their opinion.

The world is filled with believers such as I, nonbelievers, and other religious based faiths.

I’m fine with your beliefs, although it seems today the Christian faith is getting slammed simply on account of “what,” we believe.

Much of our problem today stems simply from political correctness and its, “not offend anyone,” or to basically make everyone…feel nice.

First off, to anyone with a brain, you should immediately recognize the true intent of this political correctness as simply being …restricting speech, and undermining your right to free speech.

Secondly, it’s pretty easily seen that this “PC thing” isn’t restricting the progressive rights to free speech at all.

Only the people in our Country who believe in “their God and their guns” is this really being applied to, as our President has proclaimed.

If you believe in our liberties, morals, and what our Country was indeed founded upon, which is enforced in our Constitution, you’ve been branded today as racist, right wing extremists, anti-government, terrorists, and even teabaggers.

Between us, my son had to inform me to the true meaning behind such a statement.

Seems somewhere, somehow, the world simply passed me by, but regardless of my own ignorance of much of today’s lingo, I do understand right from wrong, but even that’s becoming confused if listening to a progressive speak.

Ever hear of spending your way out of debt as our President declares?

If you passed elementary arithmetic, you see the futility in such a statement.

Now…stealing your way out of debt is another matter entirely!

It’s pretty evident that political correctness involving people that believe as I and other likeminded individuals do isn’t the same at all when being applied to the political left.

I’ve also heard our President declare…”America is not a Christian Nation.”

This in a nutshell is my reasoning for today’s post.

We ACTUALLY WERE Founded Upon Our Judeo-Christian Beliefs

Personally, I feel that Louisiana governor, Bobby Jindal was right on the money when he stated, “Now is the time for our Nation to turn back to God.”

The media, and many Republicans as well, thought his statement as anything but a simple declaration of his belief, and totally about as politically incorrect as you can get…

After all, far too many today believe as our President states, once again, “We are not a Christian Nation.”

A poll in 2012, did anything but affirm this belief. Its findings were that in fact 75% of Americans today do consider Christianity as their religion of choice.

I’d like to share a few examples, through quotations, that yes, America was indeed founded upon our Christian belief.

All three quotations were written by Thomas Jefferson, long before our present government existed.

That man had foresight, did he not?

These three quotes were sent to me from a very good friend of mine, and one whose writings have been seen on our website from time to time.

I call him AP, and this man is a true patriot in every sense of the word.

AP is a self-made man, in his 90’s, a veteran of WWII, a staunch believer in our Constitution and ALL it stands for, and a person not unlike so many of us simply because he LOVES this Country and all it stood for.

“Stood for?” Did I misspeak?

Unfortunately I didn’t.

We lose freedoms every single day.

The lawless have now become…the law.

Through executive orders, political correctness, the mainstream media, literal indoctrination of our children and grandchildren through our far left educational system, illegal immigration, and terminology being shoved down our throats to soften, or deceive true intent or mislead us in so many different ways…

“Enemy combatants” to describe terrorists, or “progressives” to describe elected elite who hide behind this, “nice term for…communists.”

Wasn’t it our President himself when speaking of Sarah Palin told us, “You can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig?”

The very same can be said of enemy combatants, and progressives, because no matter how much make-up you try to cover it with, they are still…terrorists and communists.

Let’s just say, “If the shoe fits…wear it.”

When are WE, the silent majority, going to take a hard lesson learned from the progressive playbook and stop being…so silent?

Instead of listening ALL the time to their name calling, finger pointing, race baiting, hate mongering, divide and conquer style of politics, can we not turn the very same on them?

You know full well the difference between the two would be our facts in regards to our freedoms and liberties this Country USED to provide for us, versus THEIR jibberish they lay upon their own constituents, whom they have literally dumbed down…bought and paid for with pennies on the dollar through a welfare state, and the literal hate induced rhetoric they enflame them with.

Today, these welfare recipients are convinced it is you and I who have put them in the position they are in as this is exactly what the elected elite tell them…over and over, and over!

When in reality, it has been the goodness of our hearts to even allow this to take place. Our…love thy neighbor” Christian values.

I have made this next statement until I’m blue in the face…

WE ARE FUNDING OUR OWN DEMISE.

I read the other day, that here in the US, we now have more people on disability than the entire population of Greece.

10,982,920…almost 11 million people on disability now.

I wonder the percentage of TRUE disabled people? I’d be willing to bet it’s not even half…or even close.

Our politicians have made this giveaway mentality the norm, and have countless organizations that TEACH, teach them mind you, how to bilk we the taxpayer more and more.

Once again…funding our own demise.

Their goal…destruction of the middle class.

Once WE become dependent…game over. We’ll ALL live on…Rowhouse Street.

Social Justice? That’s what they claim.

Social Equality? Yep…we’ll all be broke.

That’s bout as equal as you can get, huh?

You better think about that…bein broke scenario, people.

It won’t be just broke financially.

It means broke mentally, and spiritually as well.

Once tomorrow has absolutely NO possibility of ever bein better than today, it’ll be a pretty despondent world we live in, huh?

Every single day…the same.

Week after week.

Month after month.

Will there be food on the shelves?

Milk for your babies?

Gas for your car?

Heat in your home?

If so…could you possibly afford it?

Not if we continue to elect communists into office.

I’m crazy you say?

You only have to educate yourself in a very simple and easy to do way. It will tell you quite clearly the end result our elected elite are striving for…

Read history…World history.

Better yet, I’m sure many of you know friends who came here from communist bloc countries…ask them.

I have a buddy from Poland. Lost EVERYTHING he had to the communists…

TWICE!

Moved here for the opportunity our Country provided for him and his family.

He thinks we’ve lost our mind in our choice of elected officials!

He says, “DOUG…you are living today in a mild form of socialism…it will continue to grow, corrupt, and ruin this Nation. You guys don’t read history?”

“ Oh…it starts of nice enough…free food…free rent…free, free, free…(soundin familiar?)Then suddenly…no milk for your children!”

This man has lived the so called, “socialist utopia.”

What the uneducated don’t realize is that the only utopia that will exist will be exclusively for…the elite.

My buddy worries himself sick that now, after coming to the good ole USA and our political environment today, he’ll now lose everything…for a third time!

A few headlines…

Sen. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) proposed using the Internal Revenue Service to curtail Tea Party group funding during a speech on how to “exploit” and “weaken” the movement at the Center for American Progress on Thursday.

Wouldn’t that have to be considered as using your political power to pursue your own political agenda, as well as the destruction of any other mindset, our Constitution be damned? Doesn’t that reflect as a true democratic society?

Funding our own demise?

Man in Wisconsin sentenced to one year in jail for attempting to defraud disability claiming to be blind.

Seems he collected $115,000 in unlawful Medicare benefits and evaded $178,000 in taxes between 2004 and 2009 in addition to disability payments.

Evidently, in our government, when you’re using someone else’s money (OURS!), you seem to be much more lenient while passing it out.

But shoot, they don’t read the bills passed into legislation anymore, why would I think they’d be much more stringent and check people out prior to deeming them…disabled?

Crazy me, huh? What could I possibly be thinkin?

Funding our own demise?

Healthcare anyone? I find it bizarre that more people have lost their credible health insurance since the rollout of Obama care than have been enrolled.

Conservative filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza, whose documentary 2016: Obama’s America took a critical look at President Barack Obama and was a surprise hit in 2012, will be arrested in New York on Friday for allegedly violating campaign-finance law.

Is it just me, or do most remember ALL the questionable campaign financing our President received from overseas, much from anti-America peoples?

Very convenient, the law…when “the lawless” are now, once again…the law!

In closing, we need to take a good, long, hard look at what Mr. Jefferson’s three quotes are warning us of….democracy losing out to giveaway programs, a government grown way, way too large, and our rights through our 2nd amendment to keep and bear arms.

Unfortunately, here in our Country today…silence is no longer golden.

Not on our part!

We as believers in our Founding Fathers, and what freedoms they laid out for us are going to have to start opening our mouths, just as loud, and just as often as our far left leaning political opponents.

We HAVE to stand up and be heard…

2014??

Can you believe it? Shoot, seems like only a couple months back I was still datin my checks as I’d write em out 2012 although 2013 had already rolled in??

Best piece of advice I can give all you younger guys and gals out there is simply…don’t get old!

I’d like to start out this morning with a few words from the late Jerry Clower.

They aren’t just as he told it, but pretty close.

He was speakin on women’s lib, and the woman in charge of this movement comin to see his wife, Mrs. Clower.

She pulled up in their drive unannounced, and proceeded to ring the doorbell. After bein let in she was brought to where Jerry was watchin TV, with evidently Mrs. Clowwer bein tied up at the moment.

She burst in to where Jerry was sittin and declared, “Well Mr. Clower…I’m here…to see your wife.”

Jerry asked, “Bout what?”

She said quite arrogantly, “I’m here…to liberate her!”

Jerry bein Jerry, just calmly said,

“Well, if ya noticed them 3 Lincoln Continentals in the drive as ya pulled in, and 2 of em bein hers, then ya had to be aware of how nice Mrs. Clower’s house is, and then the door bein answered by her housekeeper, and finally as you were led down the hall with a TV playin in every room till ya got ta where I’m at, well…I gotta tell ya…”

“Mrs. Clower…”

“DON’T WANNA BE LIBERATED!”

Now, couple points here…bein Southern, and a redneck, I like Jerry Clower first of all, BUT, in today’s world, most of “the educated” look down their noses at us Southerners, and quite frankly see us as bein simply… “dumb as a pile a rocks,” wouldn’t ya agree?

But on the other hand, many educated people I happen to like very much. These people are a tremendous asset to our Country and its inhabitants.

Because of these people, and most happening to be rich too by the way, have throughout our existence as a Nation boosted our economy through the jobs they produce and the investments they made.

This in turn gave this Country one of its greatest assets…the ability for us as citizens to… “LIVE the American Dream!”

It also enabled us to have a strong middle-class, which today our elected elite see as a problem, only because they can’t hold us…under their thumb!

So today, our educated, although mainly the problem lies in our “liberally minded educated,” we’re looked upon as not bein… “the sharpest knife in the drawer.”

On the flip side, we as, “We the People,” for too long looked upon these educated liberals as…nuts!

Sadly, the opposite was true.

Educated yes, but only in the sense that “We the People” bein counted on to sit on our backsides while they continued to pass legislation each and every day to take away our fundamental rights and liberties our Country had bestowed upon us.

They had us pegged!

They weren’t nuts as we early on perceived them to be…they were very smart and very patient. They had…

AN AGENDA!

Through affirmative action, community organizing, redistribution of wealth through the guise of… “helping out the poor and oppressed,” through educational indoctrination, our media refusing to broadcast the real goings on in our elected elites agenda, political correctness, no child left behind, illegal immigration, no term limits in the House or Senate, and countless, countless others…

The liberal educated were working 24-7 too literally, and today arrogantly, destroy our Country as we have known it.

Is there still a Republican Party??

Democratic Party???

Nope…just putting on a show for us, of…good cop, bad cop.

Our mistake?

Takin for granted the good ole USA had in its Constitution all the safeguards needed to insure our rights.

We had…

Checks and balances!

We, as workin people, had families to raise, mouths to feed, house and car payments to make, and jobs to look after.

Then our Christian, even if you’re not a Christian, we still shared Christian like beliefs to…help our neighbors.

This too bein one more virtue the “educated liberals,” pounced on in their ability to kick-start all the welfare or social programs…it was…

The goodness of our hearts.

Ya know, lookin back, as bad as I hate to say it, but dern if we, as in, “We the People,” through our negligence, moral standards and trustfulness, literally HAVE been actin like…we did just “fall off a turnip truck??”

Northern AND Southern alike!

Seems when New York City was swearin in their newly elected mayor, they took one more swipe at, We the People, and our middle class through…

Racist Accusations

Let me just say, in my own opinion, I’m sick of such allegations. Our Country has for quite a while now been anything but racist.

Sure, sure, there are examples of racism from time to time, but most made by nuts, black or white, which brings to mind the example of, “it only takes one bad apple to spoil the bunch.”

The knockout game comes to mind.

You see the public demand by our inner cities people of somehow what the working people make is theirs too, whether the redistribution was made by black or white, or yellow or brown.

Anyway…at de Blasio’s inauguration the Rev. Fred Lucas says, “Let the plantation called New York City be the city of God, a city set upon the hill, a light shining in darkness,” he declared. “Elevate our valleys. Make low our mountains. Make our crooked places straight and our rough places smooth. Oh God, oh God, oh God, break every chain, break every chain, break every chain.”

Funny to me, this plantation rhetoric seems a tragic misstatement.

Misstatement in the fact that it was Dr. Martin Luther King whom pretty much broke the chains involving civil rights, yet just as soon as they won their rights, they sold their souls, replaced the chains upon THEMSELVES once more, and reentered the plantation, only this time…the GOVERNMENT PLANTATION.

Well Rev. Lucas, the racism and chain bondage you speak of was not of the white people of our Country’s doin so, as you guys seem to love portrayin it as, but was simply done by our own elected elite, black, white, yellow and brown, who so proudly proclaim…we’re here to help you guys!

In truth, nothing but a pack of lies, that have been executed through, well…a pack of lies, and the dumbin down of our inner cities populace.

Why the good Rev. and cohorts won’t speak the truth, and just come out and say, “Hey, we’re gonna take from you, dictate to you, and enforce laws upon you that will destroy your work ethic, your family units, your souls, and your Country is beyond me.

It has nothing at all to do with racism, but power and greed. They play the fiddle and the dumbed down dance to their tune!

They point their fingers and declare the whites, or any conservative thought process, NO MATTER THE SKIN COLOR, as evil, greedy, corrupt and…racist.

This thought process, reverse racism, or whatever you want to label it as, has been goin on since the mid-sixties, or again…bout the time the blacks won their civil rights.

But this has been taken to a new level by the Barack Obama’s, the Eric Holders, the Mark Lloyds, the Hillary Clinton’s, the John Kerry’s, and even the pastors…the Fred Lucas’ and the Rev. Wrights, to name but a few…religious leaders or elected elite.

Personally, I feel this to be very, very dangerous.

You have on one side of the fence a race of people who hear plainly, day after day, after day, from our elected elite, and yes, pastors of their own congregations, that the whites have destroyed any hope of them bein able to achieve anything for their family.

We as a race, have stolen from them, and won’t allow them anything else except a life of misery and pain.

They’ve been indoctrinated that everything we’ve worked for is part theirs too.

Then, on the other side of the fence, here we sit as whites, no other crime than that, simply bein white here in our Country today, and we hear this sentiment expressed by our elected elite that…we’re racist!

We have a President elected in our Country we didn’t like BECAUSE of who he was, NOT what he was, or stood for…yet, we’re racist on account of this.

There happens to be a football team named… The Redskins…we’re racist.

We want to keep as much of our money as we can, first off cause…we worked for it??? Well guys, ta tell ya, but that’s racist too.

On, and on, and on.

Ya don’t think our elected elite don’t understand at all that this IS…creating a racial divide among us?

Of course they do, and are actually advocating this very thing.

Once more…it ain’t about helping someone, well maybe it is…but only helping our elected elite and their minions!

Why are they pushing this racial divide so adamantly or maybe better put, so vehemently?

Well…we all know that too, don’t we, but that’s another subject.

Some Quick Numbers

These stats from 2009 mind ya, so what must they possibly be today???

Welfare spending is stretched across 13 government departments and agencies, 17 budget functions, and 71 separate programs.

President Obama plans to spend $10.3 trillion on welfare over the next 10 years. That’s $250,000 for each poor person currently living in this country.

From the “Heritage Foundation:”

•Welfare to poor and low-income families is now the third most expensive government function after aid to the elderly in the form of Social Security and Medicare and after education. We spend less on national defense than on welfare.

•Welfare spending in 2008 was $714 billion. That’s 13 times greater than welfare spending in 1964, when President Lyndon B. Johnson started the War on Poverty.

•During his bid for the presidency, Obama repeatedly bemoaned the fact that the war in Iraq cost each American household about $100 each month. By comparison, welfare spending costs each American family $560 per month this year; next year, that number will jump to $638.

•And speaking of war, the federal and state governments spent $15.92 trillion (adjusted 2008 dollars) on welfare from 1965 to 2008. By comparison, the cost of all American wars since the Revolution is $6.39 trillion (adjusted 2008 dollars).

So we’ve spent $15.92 TRILLION dollars since 1965 until 2008…on welfare??

Look around…sure seems to have done a lot of good.

Those educated elite are on top of it sure nuff, ain’t they?

NOW…bout that Jerry Clower thing this mornin…

If you’re “livin on that racist plantation” that you guys and our elected elite speak off with such hostility, cain’t be all that bad, huh?

Seems that this “plantation livin,” or even joinin a womens liberation movement are pretty much one in the same as far as bein set free, cause in order to BE liberated…

Ya gotta WANNA be liberated!

Yet another example of our elected elite doin whatever, and whenever they want. More proof that we no longer have a say in our election process as we are spoon fed the candidates by the powers that be.

The architect behind this…the one and only Paul Ryan.

Ya know…you remember Paul, right?

After all, HE was the Republican candidate for vice-president on Mitt Romney’s ticket.

Comin back to you now?

HE…who was supposed to stand by the virtues and beliefs of our Republican Party and be our voice…crafts a bill to take money from our veteran’s pockets.

EVEN DISABLED VETERANS ARE NOT EXEMPT!

Ah…these very same veterans are the very people who insured these political elite today the FREEDOM to live in a Country where they could be elected…AND SERVE!

Maybe it’s just me…but weren’t our officials supposed to serve…

THE PEOPLE?

One of Ryan’s reasons really irks me…to no end.

I quote…

“We give them (our veterans) a slightly smaller adjustment for inflation BECAUSE THEY’RE STILL IN THEIR WORKING YEARS and in most cases EARNING ANOTHER PAYCHECK.”

REALLY???

Hmmm….seems to me far, far too many of our elected officials are guilty of this very same thing…retiring…then takin another job….BUT, with a couple MAJOR differences.

The first bein in their regard, the term, “work” is…VERY overstated!

Wouldn’t most agree?

The second is the retirin or leavin one public sector job, and immediately takin another…public sector job…which by the way is paid for by…you and I once more…the taxpayer!

Do THEY take a pay cut?

Nope.

Do they collect retirement benefits which include pensions, health care, AND in many cases a cash buyout?

You betcha they do!

Ever heard the term DOUBLE or TRIPLE DIPPIN?

For those who have…why do we as taxpaying citizens tolerate such?

For those who haven’t, well, I suggest you step outta the closet for a while, or worse yet, stop takin our elected elites word on, well…

ANYTHING!

A few quick examples…

Today there are over 13,000 former California elected elite collectin pensions of over $100,000 per year!

In New York, over 16% of its retired police and fire department employees collected pensions of over 100 grand.

In Michigan, according to Ballot-Pedia, their public sector employees are allotted, get this…

12 to 13 PAID HOLIDAYS a year…

15 to 35 days of vacation time a year…

13 sick days a year…

I’m just thinkin…take off the weekends and how many days a year…

DO THEY WORK?

Must be nice to have a bottomless pit to draw from, huh?

If ya ask me, our elected elite could do TONS OF CUTTIN…right in their own purse strings…wouldn’t ya agree?

By the way, our elected elite decided against not havin to cut our veterans retirement by simply…

REFUSIN TO CLOSE A LOOP HOLE for ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS which costs, once again, we the taxpayers an estimated 4.2 BILLION for a child tax credit allotted to these…ILLEGALS!

4.2 BILLION DOLLARS to once more…ILLEGALS!

YET…we see fit to cut our veterans pensions???

I saw on a newscast from Indianapolis I believe where one Hispanic family, livin in a mobile home was collectin child tax credits on…29 children.

Yep…29 children.

Once the news crew investigated…there was only one child livin there, YET, our elected elite, or the IRS decide to take absolutely…

No action.

We’ve become a Country, once more, of…NO REPRESENTATION!

Possibly our elected elite might want ta sit down and discuss this no representation thing with ah….the British maybe??

Again though, I find this mind boggling the Democrats refused to close this loophole, but instead, decided to cut our veterans retirement???

More Rantin…

So, what kind of predicament does this put us into as a Country, in regard to our election process?

If a candidate today believes in morals, standards and virtues…you’re out!

Liars, cheats, and me, me, me have become THE STANDARDS of our political process.

If a candidate believes in the family unit, raising your children as you see fit, and would like to see our children’s standard of education once more raised to the point we are once again among the world’s best…sayonara!

Educational indoctrination is the new goal today.

Global Warmin, don’t drill in the US…we might kill a swamp rat or two, shoot, even though we’re the breadbasket of the world…lets ship our produce in…from outside the US.

So, through the process of dumbin down our youth, and although I’ll be labeled probably as a racist for statin this (although I’m not)…our inner city peoples…or people of color…our elected elite have figured out they can buy the vote for literally…pennies on the dollar.

Remember also, all the times a president has spoken the words… “OUR ADMINISTRATION will STOP the out sourcing of our jobs! We want to put Americans back to work!”

Lip service…that’s all we get in our Country today!

“Pass it, THEN we’ll see what’s in it”… “Read the bill, are you kiddin me…we don’t have time to read the bill”… “If you like your insurance, you can keep it”… “If you like your doctor, you can keep him”… “OH, I’m sorry I misspoke in regards to you bein able to keep your insurance…or your doctor”…

Lies, lies, and more lies.

What have WE become as citizens of this great Country to allow such behavior?

If a candidate todays speaks of our Constitutional liberty’s (written by old, out of touch white men as the left likes to declare), or speaks of God….see ya!

They have dirt dug up on them and are drug through the mud, or today I must admit, I personally feel they’re threatened, along with their family.

It took me 3 attempts at the driver’s license office to renew my license. When Deb passed, I had no idea where my original birth certificate was…so I HAD to go get another one.

My wallet had been stolen a couple years back so…I had to go get a new social security card.

To be honest, I don’t remember what the last problem was, but there was one more hurdle I had to clear to once more…renew my driver’s license.

The kicker here…I HAD MY OLD LICENSE…WITH MY PICTURE ON IT!! They couldn’t just type me into the computer along with all MY INFORMATION, and see without a doubt that Doug Bronson was INDEED…DOUG BRONSON.

The very same Doug Bronson who HAD been drivin in the State of Florida for the last…46 YEARS!

YET today…our elected elite declare it AGAINST HUMAN RIGHTS, or EVEN RACISM, to ask for an ID to be allowed to vote???

GEEZ people…that’s probably the GREATEST right we have as Americans…the right to vote!

SO HOW COULD INSURIN THAT YOU ARE WHO YOU ARE, AND THAT YOU ARE IN FACT A LEGAL AMERICAN CITIZEN, BE IN ANY WAY OFFENSIVE IN YOUR DUTY TO…CAST A VOTE?
YET, in this crazy mixed up world we live in it evidently is??

If we have a candidate today who speaks of a work ethic…he is racist among other things, and our mainstream media destroy him, or her.

Our elected elite today harp on financial aid…better known as entitlements.

To help someone is a horse of a different color, but to cause the total financial dependency of individuals to their elected elite is beyond grasp to me.

If you’ve lost your job…my heart goes out to ya, and to be quite frank, we ain’t livin on easy street here either.

Ya want to pinpoint the blame…well, ya needn’t look any farther than our elected elite.

They’ve destroyed jobs, just take a look at health care, but also TOO much government regulation, TOO much unionization, and TOO taxation.

On top of this, we have literally GENERATIONS of people in this Country who have…NEVER WORKED!

NEVER!

Through the indoctrination of our people through our elected elite, they are now CONVINCED it is THEIR RIGHT to take from us and it be given to them!

I remember vividly Michelle Obama declarin… “You need a piece of the pie too…”

Well, get your butts off ta work and go to the bakery, or go purchase the ingredients from the neighborhood grocery…and get your own pie!

I promise you right now that you can keep YOUR PIE, cause I don’t want any of it!

My reasoning is pretty simple…

It’s YOUR pie, not mine.

How can I possibly declare what is rightfully yours…be mine too?

If I started showin up on the doorsteps of the entitled people on the first of every month, ya reckon they’d share THEIR WEALTH with me? I mean after all, ain’t it part mine too, accordin to our elected elite’s reasonin?

I’d sure think so, wouldn’t you?

SO…how bout leavin our veterans retirements alone, and focus in on takin the welfare benefits from these very people who have never worked, never intend on workin, and as it stands now…asin’t gonna work!

Oh, wait a minute…

If we were to do that, wouldn’t that cause riotin in our Country? Anarchy? Possibly even race wars?

Yeah…it very well could, but ya know what…you only have to look at our elected elite once more! They, and they only, orchestrated this too!

Your power today to destroy men’s souls, pass laws to take more and more from the taxpaying citizens of this Country, spend, print and borrow money that our children and grandchildren could never possibly pay back, and total disregard our Constitution and its rights given to us by our Founding Fathers will one day come back to haunt you…with a price.

Your greed, your corruption, your lack of morals or virtues, and once again, your lust for power, will eventually be things that will cause you much grief, if not here or now, will do so down the road.

First off, I’d like to thank our president for the loss of millions of health care coverages across this great land of ours, with myself bein included in those numbers.

I heard of your statement proclaimin to be sooo very sorry for any hardships you may have caused to we, the American taxpaying citizen by mispeakin, but down here where I’m from, we call it by a different definition altogether.

We call it simply…

LYIN!

Better yet, it’s actually STEALIN too!

Gotta feed that monstrosity today that used to be called…government!

We’ll weather this storm as well, kind sir, just as we always weather any adversity tossed our way, cause we’re simply not “quitters,” but…Ameri-CANS!

So, my statements this morning on “obamacare” ain’t whining, only I do wish you’d do us all a favor…how bout you and all your cronies get online and sign up for it yourselves, and stop the moochin of the hard workin, law abiding, tax payin citizens to pay for YOUR golden policies.

Simply put…it’s named for you, so you shouldn’t have any problem getting coverage, and surely you’d be proud to set this example, huh?

Stand firm…How many considered this statement, stand firm, as speakin to our elected republican officials?

Well, it ain’t, although that’s just EXACTLY what they need to do!

Oh, there’s no doubt that I’d love to see those guys do just that…stand firm in their duty to we the American people, and finally get the gumption or backbone to stop this insanity goin on in DC today…BUT, I don’t see it happenin.

I’d read yesterday they had, “made a deal,” with the dems, but Obama turned it down.

Is this true?

Who knows anymore, but part of “this deal,” would have allowed the funding of…obamacare??

Today our two party’s represent…good cop…bad cop.

It’s a show folks…that’s all.

As bad as I hate to make such a remark, that’s exactly what it is.

First off, to have our elected officials, democrat or republican, allow funding for this monstrosity known as obamacare, is a travesty, which by the way is not condoned in any shape or form by the MAJORITY of the American people.

Need I say the very same on the subject of… “Have a Merry Christmas?” How has it come to pass where 12 to 15 percent of our people have full say in matters such as… “Merry Christmas?”

I’ll state this once more…the MAJORITY of the American people say… “DON’T do it” to obamacare, and we’ve been sayin it from the get go.

Pelosi statin that we’ll see what’s in it (read it in other words), AFTER we pass it.

I can’t think of any better example of total contempt of the American people than those words.

Here is a VERY well paid, VERY well compensated through a golden retirement package and LIFE LONG healthcare paid for …BY US, and sadly, a VERY powerful ELECTED official who just pretty much heard the racket bein made by we the American people, screamin… “Don’t do it,” and with absolutely no remorse, or feelin of any obligation of any kind that she indeed is workin…FOR US, she literally just…

Gave us the finger.

This is the most atrocious, dastardly, unfathomable piece of legislation to ever come down the pike…bar none.

A job killer is putting it mildly…VERY mildly…I’m VERY scared of what all IS in the dern thing, but as Pelosi stated, we ARE sure fixin TO see what’s in it!

You only have to look around to see company, after company slashin employee hours. This will only get worse…and worse…and worse!

Amazing thing though, is isn’t it funny, that AFTER READIN the bill for themselves, the dems, and repubs alike, after seein some of what was in the dern thing, suddenly…they didn’t WANT ANY part of this in regards to THEIR, or THEIR family’s health care??

So guess what?

They declared THEMSELVES…EXEMPT from this great health care plan.

I mean accordin to them, this IS what the American people wanted. This IS what the American people NEEDED! This IS the greatest thing since buttered toast! THIS IS the answer to ALL our health care concerns!

ALL, that is, EXCEPT the very people who wrote it, implicated it, and decided that even though the majority of us DIDN’T want it in the first place, they’d just go ahead and shove it down our throats.

Let’s see…hmmm…they’ve nationalized some insurance companies, they’ve nationalized some financial institutions, they’re nationalizing health care, and also, in the process, they’ve “nationalized” thousands more IRS workers to see that they collect their forced nationalized health care monies, that aren’t a tax mind you as our commander in chief declared, but in reality…are a tax.

They’ve also nationalized the car companies, two anyway, and awarded their “buddies” the unions, who in reality were the back breakers in the car companies bein able to turn a profit, with, guess what…

A twenty per cent stake in the companies they broke!

Seems this “socialism thing” works pretty good if you’re…one of their comrades, huh?

The unions been destroyin companies for years now…steel mills (gone), textile mills (gone), car companies, the postal service cain’t turn a profit, Am-trac, etc., etc., etc.

You only have to look at Detroit today to see the ghosts of good days past.

Couldn’t be that Cloward-Piven thing could it?

Ya know, that theory where in order to help destroy America as we know it, you do it through overwhelming our economic system with welfare and the like.

In reality today, my statement, “Stand Firm,” means for you as true Americans, stand firm in YOUR beliefs.

Stand firm in your values and standards.

Stand firm in your integrity. Your name DOES mean something! Start actin like it, okay?

Stand firm in your right in regards to freedom of speech. Political correctness be damned!

Stand firm in your right to live the American dream. You CAN start your own business and be successful in doing so, although this today is tougher than it’s ever been here in our Country.

Stand firm in your right for your children to get an education, even if it means home schooling them.

Stand firm in your beliefs that our Constitution IS what we were founded upon, and is not an ***old, outdated document written by a bunch of…white men, no matter how our elected officials try to spin it.

Stand firm in your belief that we DO live in the greatest Country on earth, and that our freedoms and liberties are GRANTED to us, and not to be tampered with.

Stand firm in your beliefs that this period of immorality, unaccountability, and total Godless behavior too shall pass, although it will take action on all of our part for this to take place.

Stand firm that right, still is right, and wrong is just that…wrong. This will never change, again, no matter how our elected officials attempt to spin it.

Stand firm in your belief that work is part of life. It teaches all of us responsibility, and that through hard work, good things do indeed happen. It’s not easy, and it takes time, but through a good, hard work ethic you have the opportunity to grow.

Stand firm in your belief that your children are…YOUR children, and NOT the responsibility of our government!

Stand firm in your commitment to raise your child AS YOU see fit.

Stand firm in your commitment to discipline your child, if need be. This is done out of love, not contempt. As hard as it is for liberals to understand, but we discipline our children, once more out of our love, and attempt, to show them right from wrong.

Geez, what is happening in our Country today folks??

You’re tellin me this political atmosphere we live in today is condoned by the majority of the American people?

NOT!

First off, I read an article from Channel 10 News Tampa Bay, describing an incident on Flight 1880, from Reagan National Airport in DC, to Orlando International, where 4 middle-eastern males were observed moving around the plane…as if on some type of “dry run.”

The 10 News Investigators contacted both US Airways and the Transportation Security Administration both confirmed the incident. US Airways says it won’t discuss the details of security measures, but that it works closely with authorities.

The TSA told us it takes all reports of suspicious activity aboard aircraft seriously, and the matter requires no further investigation at this time.

However, a current Federal Air Marshal who works flights every week says of the TSA, “They’re liars. They’re flat out liars.”

The Air Marshal, whose identity we are not revealing because agency rules prohibit him from talking to the media, says the TSA doesn’t want the flying public to be aware of the problems with terrorist probes.

The Air Marshal and others we have spoken to say several flights they have worked were targets of dry-runs and that most of his colleagues believe no matter what the TSA says, the incident aboard Flight 1880 is serious.

Until now, there has been absolutely no publicity about the US Airways flight from D.C. to Orlando International Airport, but security experts say incidents like this should not and cannot be ignored.

As the Federal Air Marshal and industry insiders tell us, “We’re waiting for the next 9/11 to happen, because it’s not a question of if. It’s a question of when.”

Bringing down an airliner continues to be the Gold Standard of terrorism. If anyone thinks that our enemies have “been there, done that,” and are not targeting US commercial aviation — think again.

There have been several cases recently throughout the industry of what appear to be probes, or dry runs, to test our reaction to an inflight threat. A typical example is an incident that occurred just a few
days ago on one of our flights from DCA-MCO.

A group of Middle-Eastern males boarded in DCA. Shortly after takeoff, one got up and ran from his seat in coach towards the flight deck door. He made a hard left and entered the forward lav, where he stayed for a considerable length of time! While he was in there, the others got up and proceeded to move about the cabin, changing seats, opening overhead bins, and generally making a scene. They appeared to be trying to occupy and distract the flight attendants.

Coincidence?

There is another interesting twist to this case. It just so happens that on the return flight from MCO-DCA, with the same flight number, a group of 8 Middle Eastern females—concealed in full burkas—were

in the boarding area for the flight to DCA. This flight did not have a FAM team, even though it was supposed to have a significant VIP on board.

(He was rebooked when all these details were made known to his security detail.)

Coincidence?…

Then, I’ve been following the behavior of our National Park Service employees and their treatment of American citizens (sounds funny the treatment of American citizens…in America, doesn’t it)???

I’d never heard of it until…our government shutdown…with pay, mind you.

Seems the National Park Service USED to be involved with this farm, but that stopped in 1980, when they decided to cut the funding. Since then it has been run through an endowment by private citizens, thus operating through donations and volunteer work.

Remember that point, no NPS involvement since 1980, BUT…the NPS told the Claude Moore Colonial Farm to…SHUT DOWN!

They’re forcing parks to close that they aren’t even involved in, simply because they…have been ordered to??

Hope and change…how ya likin that now folks? Very little hope, but PLENTY of change, huh?

This type of behavior has been seen at numerous sites, with one NPS officer quoted as saying… “We’ve been told to make life as difficult for the people as we can.”

That is one heck of a statement, isn’t it?

Course, an administration that considers, Mao Tse-Tung a great POLITICAL philosopher, what do ya expect?

Don’t believe me? Well, don’t take my word for it…I’m just the messenger.

Was gonna say, “Don’t SHOOT me, I’m just the messenger, but in today’s world…I thought I’d better phrase it a little more mildly! LOL!

But look guys, I didn’t pull this “Mao thing” outta the air…they OPENLY discuss it.

She referenced Mao and his goal of taking China over…not Mao bein elected, but…TAKIN OVER.

You guys read where Bill Ayers talked openly with an undercover FBI agent, I believe, in regards to possibly having to do something with around 25 million Americans, who may not abide to THEIR (Ayers) political beliefs?

In all honesty though, these people are very dangerous to us. Nothing, and I mean just that…NOTHING surprises me today.

Then a school in Pennsylvania banned Halloween activities (but since has been reinstated)…cause…it might offend someone??

There IS a Bigger Power

I read a devotional this morning.

I read it daily, and it is an app on my phone… “The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.”

I don’t know bout you guys, but I have ALWAYS admired Rev. Graham. I’m drawn by his ability to connect with people, and the sincerity in his own belief.

Here is his message…

Man hungers for food, and God sends the sun and rain upon the golden fields of grain. The grain is made into flour, and flour into bread, and man’s physical hunger is satisfied. Man hungers for love; and God ignites the fire of affection in another heart, and two hearts are made complete in the bonds of holy matrimony.

Don’t tell me that God can supply man with an abundance of everything material and yet will let him starve spiritually! . . . God will satisfy the hunger and thirst of those who desire His righteousness because He loves the world with an undying affection.

Prayer for the day…

You have abundantly supplied my greatest need, heavenly Father, for You have given me love.

This behavior demonstrated by our ELECTED (I still ain’t believing that??) officials, is a simple flaunting of… “the ends justify the means.”

I know to most this morning, I’m just “speakin to the choir,” but it still makes me literally shake my head at the goins on in our Country today.

What have we become?

Alinsky in Our Lives:

“Lest we forget at least an over the shoulder acknowledgement to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history…the very first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively, that he at least won his own kingdom…Lucifer.”

By my reading that statement from Saul Alinsky, ideology, or whatever it is, I can’t help but come to the conclusion it is indeed okay to sell your soul to the devil…to obtain your goal.

I also understand that through Alinsky’s teachings, and what has been accepted by his disciples, is simply this…

Morals, virtues, goodness, integrity, truth nor values play any part in their beliefs or judgements. It IS though, only about…POWER.

THEIR POWER.

So you see…the ends DO justify the means!

This power exhibited today by our elected officials is the most blatant, in your face, total disregard for the will of the people that this Country has ever witnessed.

Law-abiding, hard-working, tax-paying, believers in our Constitution, and God, are labeled as…terrorists.

Of course we can’t leave out our title of being racist too.

Dr. Benjamin Carson hits the nail on the head quoting scripture speaking on… “Godless leaders.”

Can we label government today as a… “Den of Thieves.”

Certainly.

Take the time and Google up retirement packages for our elected officials, cash payouts upon retirement, double and triple dipping (if you don’t recognize those terms, Google them up as well), and of course, our elected officials and ALL their cronies are exempt from Obamacare.

Hmmm…what’s up with that?

First off, I can’t envision the term…Obamacare???

Honestly, I’m tryin to determine when Obama…

Back to checking out the pension plans for public service employees, you need to take a quick look at one State in our Country that believes in your right to work, the American Dream, LEGAL immigration, very little taxation, representation of its citizens, and a State that does very well economically, day in, and day out…

In 2005, there were 1,841 public service employees who pulled down over $100,000 a year in pension checks from the California Public Employees Retirement System.

$100,000 a year in pension checks! Listen again, that’s $100,000 people…a year!

Boy…we ARE the “silent majority,” huh?

By 2009, this so-called “100K club” had more than tripled…to 6,133!

At the end of 2012, membership more than doubled again….to 14,763!

That’s up 700% in less than a decade!

Wanta hear something else that’ll jump start your engine this morning.

Vernon California, which by the way is the SMALLEST incorporated city in the State, was represented at one time by a Mr. Bruce Malkenhorst.

I say “represented” because it seems Malkenhorst was once the city of Vernon’s city manager, finance director, redevelopment director, city clerk, city treasurer and head of the municipal light and power operation, pretty much at the same time.

His retirement pension, which by the way is…$540,882…a year.

Yep, ya read it right…$540,882!

CalPERS reviewed this last year and slashed it down to $115,000, but Mr. Malkenhorst dubbed this… “elder abuse”…and continues to fight it in court.

He continues to receive the $540,000+ until all his appeals are settled.

How small is Vernon you ask?

Population…112. (according to Wikipedia 2010)

Yep…ONE HUNDRED…and TWELVE!

Reckon “Den of Thieves” may in reality BE the perfect title for today’s government?

Our officials today want our guns as well.

I only have to look back in history and see the events that took place in the former Soviet Union, and China both, although there are many more examples of other Countries which advocated a no gun policy.

Shoot…talkin bout a no gun policy…look no further than Chicago! Gun control really has been helpin out there, huh?

As I am in favor, and very much so, of our RIGHT to keep and bear arms, let me toss out a little scenario here…

We live very rurally.

If we were to experience a break-in, or home invasion, I’m guessin the police response time would be in the neighborhood of 2 to 5 minutes…maybe more??

Is callin 911 an option with ARMED intruders in my home?

Certainly it is, and that’s just what my wife would be doin, or speakin to the company that monitors our home alarm system.

Durin all this though, I’d be dialin something up myself!

GOD in Our Lives:

On the flip side of the coin of all this madness, there are many good, good people out there who DO believe in our Constitution, just as it was laid out for us, who believe in integrity and values, a hard work ethic, and even, ya gotta come closer now cause I’m gonna have to whisper this (because of the PC Police)…

Go to church.

Let me say this startin off.

I am by no means perfect. Probably bout as far from this as anyone ever has been. BUT…I do try to treat others as I’d like to be treated. Sure, I fly off the handle from time to time, and will sling a word or two at ya that I really didn’t intend to sling your way…if ya tick me off.

But I’ve learned to ask for forgiveness, and honestly, the cuss words that not too long ago pretty much made up bout 35% of my vocabulary, today seem few and far between.

Possibly, this may have influenced the big gaps in my posts there for a while. Shoot, I didn’t know what to say to you guys, or, better yet…

HOW to say it! Lol.

My point to this is that God does work in mysterious ways. I am a prime example of this.

I have thought often about, “How in the world could our Good Lord ever possibly want anything to do with me??”

Well, for starters, He loves us, each and every one of us.

He’s always with us, and never puts more on us than we can bear.

Since becoming a Christian, on numerous occasions, God has put me with someone, total strangers most times, and we strike up a conversation and God becomes the centerpiece of our talk.

I was fixin fence one day alongside the road, and this young man stopped (today, ANY man under 45 I consider a YOUNG man!).

He offered to help, and me bein the appreciative, easy goin feller I am, I asked, “Humph…then why’d ya wait till I was stringin the last strand a wire to help?”

Not really, but I thanked him for his offer, and we just started talkin.

Before long, our conversation had turned to God, and we shared some things of how God had influenced our lives.

We had a great talk.

A point he made really stuck with me.

He explained that he used to be afraid of death. Death, particularly his death, bothered him and he thought of this often.

Then he considered his BIRTH…

He explained that while we were in the womb, what a great place for us it must have been. It was our “home,” and was our sanctuary. It kept us safe, and content.

As we grew in the womb, and the eventual birth experience neared, the leaving of “our sanctuary” must have indeed been traumatizing, wouldn’t you think? It was after all, the only home we’d ever known.

But, we came into this world, and the life we began to experience was exhilarating to us. Each day we grew, both physically and mentally.

We loved our family, and our friends…we loved life itself!

Each and every day opened new doors, and life itself was cherished, and with this, we began to realize our own mortality.

How could we ever possibly want this to change?

He then stated that with some thought, he began to realize that death, of which he’d been so frightened, would be a lot like leaving the womb.

Through knowing our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, he realized that death too, was only a new beginning.

A new birth.

As wondrous as our life here on this earth had been, it couldn’t possibly hold a candle to this “eternal life” promised us by our Lord.

At that point he understood that death was nothing to be feared, but in reality, should be looked upon as our new beginning.

As he started leavin, he stated…”Ya know Doug. We just had church, right here…on the side of the road.”

He was right, that’s just exactly what had taken place.

Now, in my opinion, ya really don’t have to be an Einstein to decide what type of people you’d like to be around.

People whom the first part of this post was speaking of, or people like Eric, the young man who stopped to offer his help.

No matter what the left tells you, family values, a work ethic, morals, virtues, integrity, and religion all are needed in order for a Country to flourish.

These all lay the good foundation needed for a Country, or family for that matter, to prosper, based upon your or its principles.

I read an article from “Newsmax” this morning featuring the Rev. Billy Graham, and my only reason for reading this…was Rev. Graham.

Rev. Graham states, “Our early fathers led our Nation according to Biblical principles.”

“HOPE AND CHANGE,” has become a cliché in our Nation, and it is daunting to think that any American could “hope” for change from what God has blessed.”

He goes on to speak of “trendy faith,” or the tailoring by Americans today of their religion, or mixing their Christian beliefs with a little of this, or a little of that, with other religions of the world.

He speaks of society’s condoning or advocating this, “trendy faith.”

He warns by doing so, we have dismissed God.

What does this mean, or lead to?

How about “skewed thinking, and consciences that are desensitized to right and wrong, basing moral decisions SOLELY on what fits in with OUR individual preferences.”

Sounds familiar, does it not?

So, it seems today’s world is based upon a couple choices for us to make…

Christianity, and its roots in our Country’s greatness, OR…

“Alinskyanity” (ya like that, Alinskyanity…I jus made it up, LOL), and its immoral teachings?

The choice is yours.

Heard a story yesterday of a little boy, maybe seven years old, sittin on the street corner tryin to sell a lawnmower.

A man of about 45 came pedaling up on a bike.

The man stopped, looked down at the mower with the handwritten,“4-sale sign,” hangin off it, and asked, “Is this your mower, does it still run, and why ya sellin it?”

The little boy replied yes to the first two, and then said he was sellin the mower to buy a bike.

“Hmmm…” the man thought. “You know, I don’t ride this bike much, and I do NEED a mower…Tell ya what, I’ll swap ya my bike for your mower, and we’ll both have come out ahead here today.”

The little boy agrees immediately, but asks, “Mister, can I take the bike for a test spin?”

The man said, “Yes, of course ya can, and may I start the mower?”

The little boy replied that this would be just fine, hops on the bike and starts circling around the cul-de-sac, happy as a lark!

Meanwhile the man, his face red as a beet, CONTINUES to tug on that mower rope, but the mower hasn’t even attempted to fire off. It’s been a good five minutes or so, and he’s getting a tad aggravated with the dern thing.

He hollers out at the boy, “YOU SURE IT’LL CRANK?”

To which the little boy, who by now is happier than a pig in slob over his stroke of good fortune, hollers back, “Yes sir, she sure will, but ya might have to cuss her just a little.”

“Cuss her a little,” considers the man, then he hollers back out, “Son, I cain’t cuss her a little…I’m a preacher! Shoot, it’s been so long since I have, I don’t even remember… HOW to cuss???”

The little boy shot back, “Just keep tuggin on that rope preacher man…it’ll come back to ya directly!”

Reckon how you’d have reacted?

Myself, I’d just been tuggin on that rope, smiling the whole time, tellin that little feller just how PROUD I was that he was ENJOYIN that bike so well…

Most of my friends, at least the ones who’ve known me for several years, will attest to the fact, that I AM HARD…to get flustered!

NOT!

LOL!

I was reading last night, not really anything on my mind to speak of, and ran across a few things that kinda jumped out at me.

It was talking about a vineyard that had been planned, laid out, and constructed.

This was to be a beautiful vineyard, a vineyard whose vines would never want for anything, and would bear fruit abundantly.

The vineyard grew, and the owner settled in for his harvest of sweet grapes.

The vines though, produced only sour grapes.

Again, the owner had provided any and everything to get this particular vineyard to the point where, down the road, it being a great garden, actually…the “perfect garden!”

Yet, although the vineyard did produce, its fruits were bitter, and not of any type of quality.

The owner was so distraught, so angered by this, that he declared…

“Now let me tell you what I’ll do to my vineyard;

I will command the clouds to drop no rain on it.”

This story of the vineyard is actually a song about “The Lord’s Vineyard,” with the vineyard actually representing…the nation of Israel, God’s chosen nation…

It is told in the Book of Isaiah, Chapter 5.

Israel had turned away from God, stopped doing God’s work, and because of this, was destroyed.

This was God’s punishment for their sins, allowing Assyria to conquer and destroy them.

Also during the prophet Isaiah’s time, Israel was divided into two nations, Israel and Judah.

Judah had been spared for the time, and Isaiah evidently had come as a prophet for mainly Judah, but his word was for Israel also.

This “song,” was to warn Judah of the consequences it faced, and eventually it received from the Assyrians as well…

When people see no distinction between good and evil…

Destruction soon follows.

This statement is so true in so many different ways, yet look around you today.

Do you recognize the Country you grew up in?

Do we still display an outward appearance as a nation with morals, integrity, compassion, patriotism, and strong Christian values?

How bout people coming freely, openly, and LEGALLY, to experience what the United States of America represents…a nation where ya get outta something, what ya put into it?

You work, sacrifice, save, and through this, in your own way live out a dream. A dream to better yourself, and your family.

“The American Dream.”

The dream that let you lay down a foundation acquired through a hard, honest, work ethic that allows your children the opportunity to start their own careers, possibly a rung up the ladder than your start.

This…to be your legacy.

What legacy do far too many leave their children today?

A legacy of what others work for is in fact…yours too.

An e-mail from a good friend today, explains it much better than I.

It simply states….

1. You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.

2. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving.

3. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

4. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it!

5. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

So, the legacy today we as Americans leave to our children and grandchildren, is a legacy brought about by our government.

A legacy where our Country owes YOU something, not, you owe our Country a debt, simply because of the freedoms it has provided for us…all throughout our history.

Our legacy today is simply…

A legacy of entitlement.

Without getting further off into this particular topic, let me ask you this?

Is our Country today heading down the same path of Israel, and Judah?

Could be.

Parents killing their children. Children killing their parents. Children killing children.

Religious freedom becoming a thing of the past to many.

Leaders of our Country, many whom have never known God.

Dr. Benjamin Carson speaks of “Godless leaders.”

Listen to him…

Christian morals questioned, or even ridiculed.

Looking back on history, does any of this story, the story of Israel and Judah sound familiar?

Could be.

HE will send a signal to distant nations far away and whistle to those at the ends of the earth.

Even the light will be darkened by the clouds.

Could this be possible in regards to our Country, and the path we’re headed down, through reverse racism, political correctness, the destruction of a work ethic, indoctrination of our children through a school system no longer educating…but advocating.

Advocating an agenda where right is wrong, and wrong in fact, is right.

An agenda…of entitlements.

Once more…

When people see no distinction between good and evil, destruction soon happens.

Could this possibly be the end result?

How are you? Let me start off this morning by wishin all a very Happy New Year to each and every one of you!

Ya miss me? LOL!

I think my last post was around the 26th of November??

At that point I became, as some have said…a recluse. Actually I considered it more along the lines of… “prairie-doggin!”

I’d pop my head up ever so often, then, disappear again.

After a couple weeks I started getting calls and e-mails from friends and family, and it reminded me of Jimmy Hoffa when he went missin.

Alright, I guess it WAS more along the lines of Jiminy Cricket than Jimmy Hoffa…

Anyway, there was a lot of concern…from A LOT of people. Shoot, I didn’t remember that I EVEN KNEW that many people???

Okay, okay, ya take off the bill collectors and there REALLY wasn’t that many people callin on me!

Seriously though, there was a lot of…

“WHERE ARE YOU?”

Well, to be honest, I wasn’t sure either, if ya wanna know the truth of the matter.

BUT…I’m back!

I think?? LOL!

Man…these holidays were ROUGH, I’m here to tell ya, but, here it is 1/1/2013, and dern if I ain’t glad!!

2012 was great…up until June 14th. From 12:15 pm of that day forward, I began a whole new life. Not one that I had chosen, but actually one God chose for me.

Was I angry?

NAW…

You betcha I was! Not at anyone, or anything, in particular, but I was in fact angry.

I thought I was over the loss after a little while, thought I’d grabbed the bull by the horns once more, a character trait that has always helped me through any type of adversity that ever reared its head in my regard.

The truth of the matter was that I was lost.

I didn’t think I was, but yes sir, I was lost!

Thanksgiving was rough, but Christmas…was off the charts!

You know what though? I know in my heart now that this has passed. Darkness is indeed light once more.

I may not totally healed as of yet, but I gotta tell you guys, that the healing HAS now started…in earnest!

Life IS good again!

My “prairie-doggin” days are done!

Well, maybe not with the bill collectors! LOL!

But, with this being said, I’d like to say I’m sorry.

You guys have all been so awesome to Deb and I both. I love you all!

ALL your thoughts and prayers in our behalf are SO appreciated, and to be honest with you, my simply, “goin underground,”or, my “Dub time” as I like to call it, although much needed, and of much help to me, was unwarranted in your regard.

You deserved a heads up, for sure, and I failed to give you guys that. Not from my stop posting for a while standpoint, but from a, I didn’t drop a line or two here and there just to say…I’m fine.

Well, once again…I’m back, so suffer the consequences! See, YOU DO, have to be careful what ya wish for, huh? LOL!

So you’ll be getting “Dub’s point of view,” on most anything and everything that comes to mind!

Remember…you asked for it! LOL!

So startin off with that, here’s a” little food for thought” this mornin. Thoughts that I hope, can, or may, help others.

It never mattered to me what obstacles I faced! I simply…worked through em!

Never say never, was my motto. I never considered the word no as an option, about anything. In most cases, if I wanted something bad enough, my perseverance, my work ethic, and the word no, once again, never being a part of the equation, I just…went after it!

I gotta say though, that when Deb and I first met… “that Heifer” made me REALLY WORK for it! I’m not sure if I ever worked so hard in my life for ANYTHING, as when I fell in love with her.

Lookin back, there’s an old sayin that is SO appropriate in her and my regard…mostly HERS though!

“If ya want something bad enough…it’s worth workin for….and waitin for”

Well, the “workin for it part wasn’t too bad…but that waitin for it part, was killin me!” LOL

I always knew in my heart, that the only thing that could ever keep me from reachin my goals in life, ANY of them, was simply me.

If you fail from time to time at something, and we all do at one point or another, you don’t consider, “Oh my goodness, that didn’t work out so good, huh? I’m through!”

Many think, “Dern, I failed because of him or her, or this or that, or I failed because life just isn’t fair.”

Well, in reality, life ISN’T fair, BUT, life IS…what YOU make it!

God created us all, right?

Yes, he surely did.

Did he create us all equally? Yeah, I’d have to say that he did just that.

BUT…that’s where the equality factor stops.

It’s up to YOU, whether you’re a leader or a follower.

It’s up to YOU, whether you’re successful or not!

It’s up to YOU, to decide if you want something bad enough that you’ll put forth the EFFORT to work, “daylight to cain’t,” if that’s what it takes, in order to see it through, or, “seal the deal.”

In all reality, YOU DO indeed, reap what YOU sow!

Proverbs 6:6 begins…

Take a lesson from the ants…you lazybones!

Read it guys…you’re supposed to work!

It is good for workers to have an appetite;

An empty stomach drives them on.

Doesn’t seem to be the case today, does it? Seems as if our fellow citizens and our children as well, are being taught this is simply NOT the case. No, no!

Today we’re told that what others have…is ours too. This through what our elected leaders describe as…social equality, yet in truth, actually is much better described as…social poverty!

The “dumbed down,” yep, it really is indoctrination, society our leaders have been so outrageously successful in creating, actually BELIEVE, our leaders are in fact…helping them.

Now in all honesty, that IS dumbed down, is it not?

Today we read about our leaders working so hard, so exhaustedly, in saving our butts from going off this…Fiscal Cliff.

Maybe it’s just me, but I find it so hard to grasp that these leaders of ours working so hard to save us from this, are in reality, the very SAME people…who got us into this mess!

We’ve become a Nation of…IDIOTS!

The worst part of all this is simply that…we’ve got NOBODY to blame except ourselves! We allowed this to take place…a little here, and a little there!

Have we been complacent?

Ya reckon??

In our regard, from a complacency standpoint, we now have a government that runs amok in self-centeredness, self-greed, and self-power.

We’ve turned away from our Godliness as a Nation, yeah, they’re taking that away from us too, and in turn have become…a Nation of fools.

We turn to Proverbs once again…Proverbs 17:12

It is safer to meet a bear robbed of her cubs

Than to confront a fool caught in foolishness.

Our leaders today have become pretty arrogant in their power, huh? Actually pretty arrogant being possibly the understatement of the century, huh?

Evil seems to be more appropriate I’d say.

Look at Proverbs 16:30

With narrowed eyes, people plot evil;

With a smirk, they plan their mischief.

Then Proverbs 16:27

Scoundrels create trouble;

Their words are a destructive blaze.

Hard to imagine any type of destruction being any more disruptive than the continued loss of our freedoms and liberties that our Founding Fathers laid out for us.

Overreaching government is the name of the game today. More and more power for them, while “We The People” have literally became a past tense.

Through things such as political correctness, a media gone to bed with the left, our educational system in bed with the left as well, excessive government spending (there’s another one of those understatements again), excessive government regulation, excessive taxation (which is fixin to get much, much worse), unionization, reverse racism, and AFFIRMATIVE ACTION, our liberties are no longer liberties, but instead…allowances!

We’re ALLOWED to do this, We’re ALLOWED to do that.

We’re no longer ALLOWED to think for ourselves, raise or discipline our children as WE see fit, right down to…what they eat!

Look around you guys! Are any of you happy with society as we know it today?

Now they want our guns.

Was this past shooting a tragedy?

How could anyone in their right minds not consider it as that? Sure it was. A tragedy in the worst sense of the word!

Yet, once more, in such a senseless shooting as this, it was perpetrated by…a NUT!

My heart goes out to all the victims, their families and their friends! It is terrible that once again, society has stooped to such a level. Once again, I have to consider the restraints applied to us anymore of our religious convictions, and our governmental restrictions placed on them.

BUT, I have to again consider the restrictions placed on our lives by our elected officials as well.

It’s everywhere people, and now, through a shooting once again carried out by a “bad apple,” “We The People” are clearly being targeted once more by a government that’s whole objective is to simply control EVERY facet of our lives.

Don’t let a crisis go to waste is their motto, and boy howdy, have they gotten good at NOT letting a crisis go to waste!

This latest, is one more fine example of this.

Multi-capacity magazines, rifles, pistols, and the like, are all under attack.

Funny thing though, the hardworking, freedom loving, LAWABIDING , tax paying American is the one most likely to suffer once more.

You outlaw guns, then quite frankly, only the outlaws WILL have guns! Yes, it really is that simple.

Our leaders tell us, “Oh, you don’t need these types of weapons to…hunt. ‘

No, actually you don’t, BUT, their statement is only a smokescreen for their TRUE intent….CONTROL!

Contrary to our leader’s statement of hunting as the reasoning for this new round of gun control activity, in reality, our 2nd amendment states it a little differently…as our protection from a tyrannical government.

I won’t bore you with the numbers of all the different regimes worldwide that oppressed, silenced, and MURDERED their own citizen’s.

I will say though, that you only have to look back in history, and the numbers are in the tens of millions.

One reason for this taking place…gun control.

With the atrocious conduct of our leaders today, and their TOTAL quest for ABSOLUTE power, what is probably the one most detrimental fact they realize that can indeed put a stop to their madness, or at the very least, cause them caution as to how they go about…finishing the job?

OUR GUNS!

Give em up people…and kiss your remaining freedoms goodbye! Sayonara!

I, by NO MEANS, am advocating violence of any kind. It goes against all my morals, virtues, and standards, BUT…so does the loss of my freedom, my children’s freedom, and my grandchildren’s freedom.

This is too heavy a price to pay, or cross to bear. We must not, or cannot, allow this to happen.

It is OUR RIGHT, as citizens of this Great Nation…to KEEP AND BEAR ARMS!

Again, not to hunt, but to protect ourselves from our own governmental powers!

It’s pretty obvious that citizen’s armed with single shot, three shot, or even five shot weapons have little to no chance of protecting their freedoms from governments run amok.

Broken down into “football lingo,” the best offense…is a good defense!

Well, I’ll closeout on that note…
