			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hey guys, what’s up? I hope everyone is doing just fine. We’re all okay down here, but may see a freeze warnin Saturday night and Sunday night. Startin back Monday though, we’ll be warmin right back up.</p>
<p>A good friend of ours, Bonnie, or “Mountain Gal,” sent me a video last week.</p>
<p>I thought it was great, and felt I’d let you guys in on it today.</p>

<p>How easy is that?</p>

<p>Yet, all these “Paul’s,” have sold their souls, black, white, green, or brown…</p>
<p>To our politicians.</p>
<p>For a little bit of nothing.</p>
<p>The very politicians these “dumbed down” constituents continue to vote into office, time after time, after time, really couldn’t care less about them…their “constituency.”</p>
<p>I won’t even get into this part, simply because it should be very obvious to see.</p>
<p>“We The People,” have complacently say by and watched our freedoms, our values, our integrity, our Constitution, our Flag, and our National Anthem be walked on, and literally tossed under the bus.</p>
<p>Why?</p>
<p>My thoughts on this is that our politicians used our own Christian morals, our belief in “our system of government,” with its checkpoints and limitations it provided through our Constitution of power allowed…our politicians.</p>
<p>I also know, that these same politicians understood very well our belief in law and order, our system of law, and because of what America WAS, and what it stood for, we’d sit back…and trust in our government, and our voters, to in fact, right the boat.</p>
<p>I gotta say…this has worked out very well, hasn’t it?</p>
<p>Well, actually it HAS worked out very well…FOR…the political elite!</p>
<p>Power and greed…More and more, power and greed!</p>
<p>Yep, this agenda has in fact worked out very well.</p>
<p>Through our belief that our Constitution provided these limitations of power, and our mind set of, “Let’s not rock the boat, let’s not do anything against the law, let’s just sit back, be patient and then…things will be alright.”</p>
<p>Wrong!</p>
<p>Power and greed…this is our Country today.</p>
<p>Political correctness…what’s that all about, anyway?</p>
<p>Only an agenda to silence dissent. </p>
<p>Funny thing though…how in the world did believing in your Constitution, believing in your right to worship freely, believing that if you’d only work and apply yourself, that in turn, our Country provides you the opportunity…to live the American Dream,” EVER become classified…AS DISSENT???</p>
<p>Our politicians, power, and greed.</p>
<p>Gun control??</p>
<p>Take off the gun, and you have exactly what this “gun control” agenda is REALLY ALL ABOUT…</p>
<p>CONTROL!</p>
<p>Look what our politicians have done to us…without gun control. Look at how they literally chunk our Constitution under the bus….and we STILL have the ability to protect ourselves???</p>
<p>What happens when we roll over, and once more give in to our governments wishes of…they know best. “Just listen to us…We’ll make it right.”</p>
<p>Yet they want our guns, but this very same administration advocated, then set in motion… “operation…Fast and Furious.”</p>
<p>Boy, that sure worked out for the Mexican citizens, didn’t it?</p>
<p>Thousands dead, shot by automatic weapons supplied by this administration, who originally, with our media’s help…tried to put the blame on us. </p>
<p>They were claiming it was OUR right to bear arms that allowed these weapons to be bought openly, and because of this…we needed to take a long hard look at…gun control.</p>
<p>It was quite simple to understand, for anybody with a semblance of a brain to know quite well, that automatic weapons are not sold freely in the US…without very, very stringent background checks.</p>
<p>So, ass I said, it WAS quite clear as to where these weapons hittin the streets in Mexico were REALLY comin from!</p>
<p>And…</p>
<p>Ends up…our political powers that be were indeed…letting this take place!</p>
<p>THEN…</p>
<p>They deny it. Then they refuse to dig deep, and prosecute anyone for this atrocity??? Shoot, it’s much easier to simply blame it on you and I… “We The People.”</p>
<p>IF it had been this way…you think anybody would have been held accountable?</p>
<p>Of course they would have!</p>
<p>Hitler once said,<em> “How fortunate for governments that the people they govern…don’t think!”</em></p>
<p>Ring a bell to anyone is morning?</p>
<p>The law-abiding citizen in this Country abuses their right to bear arms, very, very infrequently. The stats prove this time after time.</p>
<p>The school shootings?</p>
<p>Terrible, terrible acts! There is NO condoning this in any way shape or form.</p>
<p>Yet, look at our politicians, AND their agenda once more…</p>
<p>They are destroying the family unit as a whole. They TELL us, what our children will eat at school.</p>
<p>They tell us whether we can discipline (NOT ABUSE, although this is the left’s counter to discipline) our own children. Through this, how do you teach your child accountability for THEIR actions?</p>
<p>Time out, you say?</p>
<p>Baloney, says I!</p>
<p>How do you teach them morals and respect?</p>
<p>You don’t!</p>
<p>How bout teaching YOUR children the value of a work ethic, and the ability for them to do literally anything they want, or be anybody they want by running their own business, through hard work and sacrifice?</p>
<p>You don’t!</p>
<p>Shoot, the government today considers a hard work ethic…greedy, selfish, and actually, stealing a piece of the “poor and oppressed” …slice of pie!</p>
<p>Ponder this for only a second or two…</p>
<p>OUR political leaders, most of which HAVE absolutely no idea what so ever of fiscal responsibility, have never run a business, or made a payroll, at least with THEIR OWN MONEY, are telling THEIR CONSTITUENCY” that…we, the working people, the tax payers, the lawful, the believers in our religious and personal freedoms our Country allows us…</p>
<p>Are…the greedy ones here in this picture???</p>
<p>These same people, now have us, our children, our grandchildren, and who knows how many future generations will be affected by this fiscal irresponsibility, are portraying the “engine that runs this Country,” the taxpayers who literally are funding all these “give-away” programs, which by the way, the recipients of this generosity of our, hate us!</p>
<p>Yes, they do!</p>
<p>Why?</p>
<p>Because they’ve been indoctrinated to hate us. </p>
<p>By…once more…our politicians!</p>
<p>Kinda funny though, that our politicians, the very ones who <strong>STEAL</strong> daily, not only from us, but their own constituents as well…</p>
<p>Paint us…as the greedy ones.</p>
<p>Even funnier is the fact that we’ve set on our backsides for so long, and allowed our government to “dumb us down,” that these poor oppressed…believe now, that what we have…IS THEIRS TOO!</p>
<p>What a crazy, mixed up society we live in today!</p>
<p>We’ve helped poor people out in this Country since its inception…over two hundred years.</p>
<p>Not through the barrel of a gun as Dinesh states, but through OUR OWN generosity, values, and integrity. </p>
<p>Out church, and I’m sure most others have a food pantry.</p>
<p>You come, state you lost your job, can’t feed your family…you walk away with food. Many times even having your power bill, or rent paid too.</p>
<p>Our church doesn’t pay these bills, I don’t think, they might, but I know there are MANY that do…I’m just sayin.</p>
<p>BUT, my point is this is done out of our own generosity and need to have some moral transactions that…make us feel good, about helping a friend, or neighbor out.</p>
<p>That’s all.</p>
<p>This worked.</p>
<p>UNTIL, our politician figured out…we don’t WANT people controlling their own lives, starting up businesses, being successful…cause…we can’t control these people! Shoot, they have…MINDS OF THEIR OWN…God forbid!</p>
<p>What do we do??</p>
<p>We USE this very Democracy…against them!</p>
<p>We USE our citizens giving hearts against them!</p>
<p>We then advocate laws AL:LOWING us to take what we want from the producers, and THEN, GIVE a part of it to…the NON-PRODUCERS!</p>
<p>We PUT people ON WELFARE, and DON’T give them the opportunity to GET OFF WELFARE!</p>
<p>Through this, we create a voting bloc that will continue to grow, and grow, and GROW, until one day…we’ll have power forever!</p>
<p>This “DEMOCRACY THING,” IS GREAT!</p>
<p>Once we have “the numbers” we then have…power…FOR LIFE!</p>
<p>I love America!!</p>
<p>The sad part, and the truth is…NO they don’t love America, not by any means, they HATE America, but sadly, just as they figured out…they CAN, destroy America…from within.</p>
<p>Folks, they are, too!</p>
<p>Welcome to…</p>
<p>Today’s society!</p>
<p>Don’t ya just love it?</p>
<p>Sadly, we must, cause we sure ain’t doin anything about it!</p>
<p>Listen…once more, okay?</p>
<p>WE, the people…are FUNDING our own demise!</p>
<p>WHY, do we not put a stop to this?</p>
<p>Why, do WE not advocate boycotting anything and anybody who continues shoving this political correctness upon us?</p>
<p>Look at the blacks, the Hispanics, homosexuals, and even look at the Muslims. </p>
<p>Believe me, I’m not anti ANY of these people, but simply making a point here.</p>
<p>I advocate people of ANY and ALL color, white included…IF…they believe in MY COUNTRY!</p>
<p>OUR COUNTRY!</p>
<p>IF they advocate, we’re not African -Americans, Hispanic-Americans, Jewish-Americans, Muslim-Americans, again, even White-Americans!</p>
<p>I consider us ALL, simply…AMERICANS!</p>
<p>These people turn out in the streets…by the thousands!</p>
<p>WHY, don’t we?</p>
<p>They don’t like the direction of something, or even the wording of an ad???</p>
<p>They boycott it!</p>
<p>Tax revolts, maybe??</p>
<p>I dunno, but…we need a hero folks!</p>
<p>A John Wayne kinda guy, who literally tells it like it is, and leads not only through his words, but also…HIS ACTIONS!</p>
<p>We’re fast comin to a time of either “steppin up,” OR, “shuttin up!”</p>
<p>The choice is ours.</p>
<p>The type of society we leave for our children, and their children, and their children, rests squarely upon…our shoulders!</p>
<p>How’s that for some pressure on ya this morning, huh?</p>
<p>So there’s a little something for ya to kick around some today…think on it as little, okay?</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hey guys…been a while. Sorry, but had some pretty important issues goin on in my life and was having to focus on some things that pretty much took my undivided attention. Imagine that? Most that know me find it astonishing that I can simply focus on anything at all!</p>
<p>Let’s start off with this today…</p>
<p><em>Take a lesson from the ants, you lazybones.<br />
Learn from their ways and become wise.<br />
Though they have no prince<br />
Or governor, or ruler to make them work,<br />
They labor hard all winter.<br />
But you, lazybones, how long will you sleep?<br />
When will you wakeup?<br />
A little extra sleep, a little more slumber,<br />
A little folding of the hands to rest-<br />
Then POVERTY will pounce on you like a bandit;<br />
Scarcity will attack you like an armed robber.</em></p>
<p>(Proverbs 6  6-11)</p>
<p><span id="more-1605"></span></p>
<p>Stop and think about this a moment. Have you ever witnessed anything anymore industrious than those little fellows? They’re in constant motion…it seems they never stop! </p>
<p>How many of you have ever walked outside and were amazed at the size of the anthill you were staring down at in your yard…that wasn’t there yesterday? Talking about the expression “moving mountains?” </p>
<p>These creatures do it daily, day after day, year after year. I wish I had a quarter of their work ethic, and that’s exactly what this “take a lesson from the ants” is speaking of in my opinion…a work ethic, and through a strong work ethic, becoming wise.</p>
<p>Why? I’d think that through a good solid work ethic, you provide a good life for you and your family. That’s a wise act, right? It is in my book!</p>
<p> By this, as years go by, and you’re no longer here on this earth, what have you left behind? You’ve left a foundation laid that has taught your children, and their children, the value of this same work ethic…this ideal.</p>
<p>Also, through your own toil, sweat, and blood, you’ve left your heirs better off financially, than when you first started out. This too, is a foundation that you’ve left that allows them to build from. Pretty wise, huh?</p>
<p>Finally, by these actions, you’ve guaranteed the livelihood of your family TO survive. To be able to take what’s thrown at them and continue moving ahead, through their own work ethic, values, and morals that you left behind for them.</p>
<p>Now that’s very wise, indeed!</p>
<p>Look around you today at this great Country of ours. Yes, you still see hard working, driven individuals, “ants” that very much believe in our system. A system that has always ensured that such a work ethic is rewarded by the many opportunities this Country provides for such people.</p>
<p>Yet, our Country today has over 46 million people on some type of welfare program!</p>
<p>I was brought up kinda like the ants. I always understood the old adage, “you don’t work…ya don’t eat,” as the norm, and harbored no ill will towards this statement. Seemed plenty fair enough to me. </p>
<p>Once more, I’m not talking about the recently laid off, but instead an entire society that has been taught, BY OUR POLITICIANS…to become the cornerstone for the word…sorry. Lazybones is appropriate as well!</p>
<p>Many of these people haven’t held a job…in generations! GENERATIONS for God’s sake!  There’s no need for them to. Why on earth would they even consider something as outrageous as…getting up each day and going to work? Are you crazy??</p>
<p>Yet, what in the “you know what” possesses us, the taxpayer, to have allowed this blatant stealing of our tax money to happen in the first place.</p>
<p>Give our money to a class of people who have literally NO desire to help themselves. With this being the case…WHY IN THE WORLD WOULD I want to help them??? I don’t do that for my own children!<br />
Also, help is exactly what we’re not doing by this. We’re destroying, not helping.</p>
<p>These same people though, think it’s THEIR RIGHT to draw something for nothing, then literally EXPECT  us, the workers, or “ants,” to continue to labor for their benefit.</p>
<p>On top of this, in all honesty…they don’t even like us, much less appreciate the sacrifice we make each week, supporting them, the lazybones!! And by this, we’re taking away income, that should be directed back into…OUR own families!</p>
<p>Another example of such mentality is exhibited daily by many of the immigrants coming into our Country. Back in the day, the immigrants that came used to get down on their knees and kiss the soil upon arriving here. We WERE the LAND OF OPPORTUNITY!</p>
<p>Why did they come? Because their own Countries could not provide the very same. We were looked upon worldwide as…the GREATEST COUNTRY ON EARTH!</p>
<p>We have politicians today, even in the highest branches of our government, that don’t consider our Country in this way. The words, “totally transform America as we know it,” come to mind. Do you remember?</p>
<p>Today though, a lot of the immigrants that arrive here, many, many illegally, could care less about the freedoms our Country provides for them, this freedom to work hard, save, and better your life.<br />
Nope…they come for what our “entitlement programs” give out to them.</p>
<p>The difference today is that when they arrive here now, they don’t kneel and kiss the soil of our Country. Instead they arrive expecting US, to kneel and kiss, THEIR rear-ends!</p>
<p>Not only do they expect it…most of our elected officials advocate it! Plus…we’re kissin their rear-ends to boot!</p>
<p>Through their policies of this great farce called “entitlements,” we’re letting these same “elected elite” destroy our Country just the same as they’ve destroyed a class of people, their own constituents, mind you, for the simple reason of…their own power and gain.</p>
<p>I’ll say it again, just as I’ve said it before until I’m blue in the face. These people they claim to care so much for, and are champions for in the fight against poverty, they couldn’t care less about. </p>
<p>They’ve destroyed their will to work, their will to better themselves, they’re taking away their religion, their ideal of having a family unit, and their individuality as human beings. They have literally indoctrinated these people into an ideal of…you’re owed something. </p>
<p>Stop and take a lesson from the ants my friends.</p>
<p> Nothing is free. It all comes at a price, and the price paid for by these “constituents” of socialist leaders is appalling in the mildest sense! Power for the ones in power, yet poverty for the people they claim to be concerned for…who also happen to be the very ones who elected them in the first place.</p>
<p>Look throughout the history of the world. Social equality is just that…nothing for everyone, but this is just the type of equality the “elitists” speak of. There never was, nor ever will be…a “Socialist Utopia.” It doesn’t exist!</p>
<p>As for the jobs we lose daily to overseas companies…once again, we have to look at our “elected elite” for this as well.</p>
<p>Too excessive taxation, government regulation, unionization, and offshoots out of DC as well. The Environmental Protection Agency comes to mind!</p>
<p>Yet President Obama speaks of…keeping jobs in the US. Yeah, okay!</p>
<p>In closing today, let’s look further into this scripture about the ants. Stop and contemplate what’s being said, and if in fact it applies to Washington DC and the agendas that come out of there as well.</p>
<p><em>What are the worthless and wicked people like?<br />
They are constant liars,<br />
Signaling their deceit with a wink of the eye,<br />
A nudge of the foot, or the wiggle of fingers.<br />
Their perverted hearts plot evil,<br />
And they constantly stir up trouble.<br />
But they will be destroyed suddenly,<br />
Broken in an instant beyond all hopes of healing.</em></p>

<p>So as the title of today’s post asks…Who You Gonna Listen To? The choice is yours.</p>

<p>Today’s post is from my good, good friend AP. A lot of you have read his posts before and today starts it up again on our site. </p>
<p>AP is in his nineties and sharp as a tack, although he’s a dern carpetbagger…uh…I mean Yankee! He just underwent a procedure on his heart and he feels great! We’re elated that he’s “back in the saddle” once again!</p>

“The president shall have the power to fill up all vacancies that may happen during a recess of the Senate”</em> The Constitution Article 11, Section 2</p>
<p>When on January 20, 2009, Barack Obama swore to defend the Constitution; he did not mean all of it. He evidently believes that the provisions quoted above merely expresses the Founders ‘now anachronistic anxieties about abuses of executive powers. So on Jan. 4, 2012, Obama simply ignored the Recess Clause to fill 3 seats on the National Labor Board, even though the Senate said it “was not in recess. Obama” cheeky response was” when I decide what “recess” means.</p>
<p>The Recess Clause states that only the president’s power extends only to vacancies that ‘happen” while the Senate is in recess&#8230; The Framers wrote the Recess Clause to give the president very limited time, as little as 10 days to fill vacancies. Congress has adopted the practice of conducting pro forma sessions, so the Senate is not in recess while many of the Senators are not present.  The Senate was holding such sessions every 3 days when Obama banded the settled for presidents respecting this practice. He treated the Senate’s unwillingness to act on his NLRB nominations as an inability to act, and said this inability constituted a de facto recess.</p>
<p><span id="more-1603"></span></p>
<p>Consider this episode when deciding whether on January 20, 2013 he should again have a chance swear to only selectively defend the Constitution</p>
<p>Former U.S Senator Arlen Spector, died at the age of 84, the outspoken Pennsylvania centrist whose switch from Republican to Democrat ended a 30 year career Announcing the diagnoses with his trade mark doggedness, Spector said “ I have beaten a brain tumor, bypass heart surgery , and many tough political opponents and I’m going to beat this, too”….When we were building the Scranton Mall, he would show up in time to have his photo and a few words for the press…..he was sort of an odd ball, but I believe he was an honest one.</p>

<p><strong>WASHINGTON </strong>&#8211; Well, apparently I am not crazy after all. The polls have caught up with me, and they &#8212; après le debate &#8212; are coming around to my point of view. Governor Mitt Romney is ahead in the race for the White House, and he will probably be residing at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in 2013. President Barack Obama looked great at most official functions. Beginning with Ron Susskind’s fine book, &#8220;Confidence Men,&#8221; and continuing on to Bob Woodward&#8217;s recent &#8220;The Price of Politics,&#8221; it has been increasingly apparent that this president does not sit through meetings &#8212; even national security briefings &#8212; does not know how to make or implement policy and much prefers to gabble on and on, preferably with the assistance of a teleprompter. And to think the official party line on Obama has been that he is eloquent. I think the wind came out of that legend when in debate the other night Romney said, &#8220;Look, I&#8217;ve been in business for 25 years. I have no idea what you&#8217;re talking about.&#8221; All true blue Obama fans &#8212; and even I &#8212; expected the president to come back with any one of a half-dozen witty zingers. How about a rude reference to Bain Capital? Yet, Obama looked glassy-eyed and the ref, Jim Lehrer, stepped in. Moreover, Obama continued to be wobbly and evasive in response to Romney&#8217;s challenges. Some Obama fans blamed the ref, though if not for him Obama could have suffered bodily injury.</p>
<p>After four years in the White House, our ceremonial president is presiding over the weakest recovery of modern times. He presides over low growth, high unemployment and trillion dollar deficits every year of his presidency. All he is offering the electorate in the next four years is more of the same. Jimmy Carter could not get reelected with such a shaky strategy and neither will Obama. Furthermore last month his foreign policy went poof right in front of him. His nonsense about leading from behind, deferring to international organizations, and paying obeisance to Arab militants has been seen for what it is, a warrant for invading our diplomatic installations in foreign lands. In Libya the animals slaughtered our ambassador, and the evidence is clear, to wit, the ambassador was seeking more security at the time of his death and being rebuffed. Remember Benghazi!</p>
<p>The debate last week was a classic. Romney put together the finest showing of any presidential candidate in the history of televised debates. He did it by speaking of his record and in speaking of Obama&#8217;s record. Yet, he did something more. James Rosen of Fox News took notice with a lapidary remark: Romney &#8220;delivered one of the great defenses of the free market ever given to an audience of this size. Obama seemed intimidated and adrift with the material. His constructions were lengthy and complex, whereas Romney&#8217;s were clear and commanding and fluid. Even if Romney loses on November 6, this still goes down as an epic electronic-age primer on various models of economics that Ronald Reagan couldn&#8217;t even deliver; and Milton Friedman never addressed an audience of this size. At all points, Romney returned to the theme of competition as a driver of reduced costs and improved quality.&#8221; Rosen concluded: &#8220;Romney also delivered the sharpest elbow of the night, with the reference to Obama&#8217;s campaign contributors: the closest thing to the pressing of a charge of corruption.&#8221;</p>
<p>Now let me make a prediction. Romney will not lose on November 6. Obama will continue to perform wretchedly in debate. He is not going to do better. What you saw last week was the essential Barack Obama, community organizer and part-time senator.</p>
<p><strong>JOE WAS THE ONLY ONE LAUGHING…..”If a wise man has an argument with a fool, the fool only rages and laughs. And there is no quiet”</strong></p>
<p>Conventional wisdom says that vice presidential debates don&#8217;t move the needle in elections, and last night&#8217;s debate was probably no exception. That said, Thursday night&#8217;s debate couldn&#8217;t have contrasted two more different candidates. Paul Ryan, the respectful, serious and earnest policy wonk, against Joe Biden, who behaved like a drunken clown and a jerk and paid due homage to the mascot of the Democrat Party &#8212; the Jackass.</p>
<p>On substance, Ryan held his own against Vice President Chuckles, despite having to face a second debate opponent in &#8220;moderator&#8221; Martha Raddatz of ABC News. Yet on style, whether the subject was the terrorist attack on our Libyan embassy, the ailing economy or abortion, Biden smiled, laughed, sneered, rolled his eyes and strategically interrupted Ryan every time the congressman hit his stride on an answer. And if it wasn&#8217;t Biden interrupting, it was Raddatz.</p>
<p>Biden is obviously a disciple of Saul Alinksy, who in his &#8220;Rules for Radicals,&#8221; Rule No. 5, said, &#8220;Ridicule is man&#8217;s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.&#8221; Clearly, the Obama team decided that the president&#8217;s failure last week was that he was &#8220;too polite,&#8221; and that Biden had to use ridicule to shore up their anxious base. The result was appalling, but then again, Biden has been rehearsing his socialist obfuscation and diversion in Washington for 40 years.</p>
<p>With that, here are a few high and low lights.</p>
<p><strong>Libya</strong>: Biden blamed the intelligence community for the ever-changing story coming from the White House, and flat out lied when he claimed ignorance as a defense. &#8220;[W]e weren&#8217;t told they wanted more security&#8221; at the embassy, he said.. But the bottom line is that the whole episode is, as Ryan responded, &#8220;indicative of a broader problem,&#8221; and we&#8217;re witnessing &#8220;the unraveling of the Obama foreign policy.&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>Iran:</strong> Biden made the ridiculous assertion that even though Iran has spent the last four years further developing fissile material for a nuclear weapon, &#8220;they have to be able to have something to put it in. There is no weapon that the Iranians have at this point.&#8221; Well, building a bomb to &#8220;put it in&#8221; is the easy part. When the argument shifted to how the ayatollah sees it, Biden argued that the administration&#8217;s &#8220;most crippling sanctions in the history of sanctions, period,&#8221; have the Iranians looking at an &#8220;economy being crippled &#8230; the currency going into the tank &#8230; [and] the economy going into free fall.&#8221; We wondered if he meant the Iran economy or the U.S. economy. Maybe the administration should ease up on sanctions here at home.</p>
<p><strong>Economy: </strong>We have to give Raddatz props for asking Biden why White House projections of unemployment under 6 percent were so wrong, but Biden immediately defaulted to blaming Bush. He then berated Mitt Romney for wanting to &#8220;let Detroit go bankrupt,&#8221; in contrast to the administration, which &#8220;rescued General Motors.&#8221; What he neglected to mention was that Detroit did go bankrupt &#8212; the White House just made sure the unions came out okay.</p>
<p>Biden then proceeded to the usual leftist class warfare, accusing Republicans of holding the middle class &#8220;hostage&#8221; to tax cuts &#8220;for the super wealthy.&#8221; Yet tax policy should be about growth, not &#8220;fair shares&#8221; and &#8220;economic patriotism,&#8221; as Barack Obama put it last week. As Ryan noted, &#8220;The economy is barely limping along. It&#8217;s growing at 1.3 percent. That&#8217;s slower than it grew last year and last year was slower than the year before.&#8221; The Romney/Ryan tax cut plan &#8212; a 20 percent cut across the board with reforms to deductions and credits &#8212; is first and foremost a pro-growth plan. The so-called &#8220;cost&#8221; of cutting those taxes will be more than offset by economic growth. Ryan tried to note despite rude interruption that John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan did the same thing with great success, contrary to the leftist assertion that we &#8220;can&#8217;t afford&#8221; it and that the Bush-era tax cuts caused the current deficits.</p>
<p>As for unemployment, the real (U-6) rate, which includes those who are underemployed and those who have become discouraged and simply given up looking for work, is reported as 14.7 percent but, as with U-3, is probably much higher. In addition, the real unemployed and underemployed ranks of Americans have swollen to more than 20 million, households considered impoverished have grown to one in six, and there are 47 million food stamp recipients &#8212; up 50 percent since Obama&#8217;s election. Obama has also amassed $5 trillion in new debt, and our national debt now totals $16 trillion, which for the first time in history now exceeds U.S. annual economic output. Finally, median household income has declined by $4,520 (8.2 percent) since Obama took office (that&#8217;s the real &#8220;Obama tax&#8221;), energy prices have doubled because of Obama restrictions, and economic growth has slowed to an anemic 1.3 percent.</p>
<p>Biden made hay of Romney&#8217;s statement about 47 percent not paying federal income taxes, but that created an opening for Ryan&#8217;s best zinger of the night: &#8220;I think the vice president very well knows that sometimes the words don&#8217;t come out of your mouth the right way.&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>Medicare and Social Security:</strong> Ryan hit the most critical point, saying, &#8220;Medicare and Social Security are going bankrupt. These are indisputable facts.&#8221; He noted that Democrats &#8220;got caught with their hands in the cookie jar, turning Medicare into a piggybank for ObamaCare,&#8221; taking $716 billion from future Medicare outlays to make ObamaCare look less expensive, but in essence trying to spend the same dollar twice. Biden countered with the same lie about Ryan&#8217;s &#8220;voucher&#8221; plan supposedly costing seniors $6,400 a year when it does nothing of the sort. Biden&#8217;s real assertion is the same old canard that markets and competition don&#8217;t work, only government does.</p>
<p><strong>Taxes: </strong>This was largely covered under the economy section, but it was at this point that Ryan really nailed it: &#8220;[W]e think that government taking 28 percent of a family and business&#8217;s income is enough. President Obama thinks that the government ought to be able to take as much as 44.8 percent of a small business&#8217;s income.&#8221; And, given that &#8220;[e]ight out of 10 businesses file their taxes as individuals, not as corporations,&#8221; this is key.</p>
<p><strong>Afghanistan:</strong> Ryan took issue with Obama&#8217;s withdrawal deadline because &#8220;we don&#8217;t want to lose the gains we&#8217;ve gotten. We want to make sure that the Taliban does not come back in and give al-Qa&#8217;ida a safe haven.&#8221; That&#8217;s exactly what&#8217;s beginning to happen under the current commander in chief. Biden&#8217;s reply was essentially that deadlines are good for cooperation. And, he noted, &#8220;I&#8217;ve been throughout that whole country, mostly in a helicopter, and sometimes in a vehicle.&#8221; Well then, that settles it!</p>
<p><strong>Religion and abortion: </strong>This is not the top issue for most voters, but the candidates answers certainly were a window into their philosophies. While both men are Catholic, only one of them expressed genuine faith. Ryan noted that &#8220;reason and science&#8221; go hand in hand with his faith, saying that, when they saw the &#8220;seven-week ultrasound for our firstborn child, and we saw the heartbeat,&#8221; it confirmed to him that &#8220;life begins at conception.&#8221; Biden agreed, &#8220;Life begins at conception in the church&#8217;s judgment. I accept it in my personal life.&#8221; And yet somehow, in public policy, he&#8217;s determined to protect not that innocent life but a woman&#8217;s right to &#8220;control [her] body.&#8221; His faith teaches that abortion is murder, yet he thinks it should be legal and funded by the federal government. The contradiction was stunning.</p>
<p>Biden also played fast and loose with verb tenses in claiming that Catholic institutions don&#8217;t have to pay for contraception, per the ObamaCare mandate. They will next year. And Ryan responded with a simple question: If the administration is so great on religious liberty, &#8220;Why would they keep suing you?&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>In closing</strong>: Biden struck the pose of the used-car salesman trying to make a deal with a sucker: &#8220;Who you gonna trust, me or your lyin&#8217; eyes?&#8221; Ryan contrasted the two approaches, listing all of Obama&#8217;s unkept promises, and saying, &#8220;The choice is clear: a stagnant economy that promotes more government dependency or a dynamic, growing economy that promotes opportunity and jobs. &#8230; [W]e will not try to replace our founding principles. We will reapply our founding principles.&#8221; That would indeed be an excellent place to start.</p>
<p><strong>Quote of the Week</strong><br />
&#8220;On nearly every specific issue on which Mr. Biden attacked, he was demonstrably wrong. The Administration&#8217;s Medicare actuary really does say that 15% of hospitals will take on operating deficits as a result of ObamaCare&#8217;s cuts in payments to Medicare providers. The American Enterprise Institute study doesn&#8217;t say that Mr. Romney&#8217;s plan will raise taxes on the middle class, and Mr. Ryan&#8217;s Medicare plan doesn&#8217;t raise costs for seniors by $6,400. Mr. Biden never even tried to offer a second-term agenda. But this 90 minutes wasn&#8217;t about an exchange of ideas or a debate over policies. It was a Democratic show of contempt for the opposition, an attempt to claim by repetitive assertion that Messrs. Ryan and Romney are radicals who want to destroy &#8216;the middle class.&#8217; Mr. Ryan&#8217;s cool under assault was a visual rebuttal of that claim, and we certainly know who looked more presidential.&#8221; &#8211;The Wall Street Journal</p>

<p><strong>Campaign Trail: Obama&#8217;s Money Machine</strong></p>
<p>A scandal is brewing over potential campaign-finance violations by the Obama campaign, but it&#8217;s not getting much press coverage. A new report by the Government Accountability Institute (GAI) notes that the Obama campaign has extraordinarily lax online security that leaves it open to receiving foreign and fraudulent donations. The 108-page study points out that the official Obama campaign website requires a credit card security code to purchase merchandise but not to make a contribution. It also doesn&#8217;t have a strong address verification system, which, like the security code, is a standard tool used in e-commerce.</p>
<p>The Federal Election Commission doesn&#8217;t require candidates to maintain basic credit card security procedures for online transactions, nor does it require recipients to record and track donations under $200. The problem here is that without proper security protocols in place, there is no way to determine if candidates are accepting foreign donations, which is illegal. But one might easily believe that the Obama campaign deliberately shirked these online security protocols in order to accept illegal foreign donations.</p>
<p>For 10 months during this election cycle, the campaign&#8217;s official website, BarackObama.com, received visitors redirected from a privately owned site, Obama.com. The latter URL was purchased in 2008 by businessman and Obama supporter Robert Roche, a China-based U.S. citizen with strong ties to several state-controlled financial institutions. The lax security procedures at BarackObama.com meant there was no way of knowing if any of the 68 percent of the foreign visitors to the Roche-owned site made illegal contributions to the president&#8217;s campaign. But we do know that Obama has raised over $270 million in contributions under $200. And we also know that in his 2008 campaign Obama raised $335 million in contributions under $200 with a similar open-door contribution policy and overall lack of transparency.</p>
<p><strong>Hope &#8216;n&#8217; Change: Obama Campaign Pulls Down Offensive Flags</strong></p>
<p>As noted in Mark Alexander&#8217;s column, The ObamaNation Plantation, the Obama campaign store contained crudely painted American flags with the Obama seal taking the place of the stars. Called the &#8220;Our Stripes&#8221; collection, it now appears to have been pulled from the store. The links no longer work and we&#8217;ve been unable to locate the art on their site. Draw your own conclusions.</p>
<p><strong>News From the Swamp: Senators Meet to Avoid Fiscal Cliff</strong></p>
<p>A group of eight senators met this week to try to carve out a deal to prevent the country from going over a fiscal cliff that will hit taxpayers with a massively larger bill come January. The three-day meeting included four Republicans &#8212; Saxby Chambliss (GA), Mike Crapo (ID), Tom Coburn (OK), Mike Johanns (NE) &#8212; and four Democrats &#8212; Michael Bennet (CO), Kent Conrad (ND), Dick Durbin (IL), Mark Warner (VA). Also in attendance was Alan Simpson, co-chair of the 2010 Simpson-Bowles debt reduction commission.</p>
<p>The three-day gathering was the latest in a series of failed attempts to come up with a workable plan to tackle the mounting federal debt, and the attendees aimed to come up with a framework for broader debate once the Senate reconvenes after the election. No details of the framework have emerged, but Washington&#8217;s track record on the issue doesn&#8217;t offer high hopes. Obama helped craft the Simpson-Bowles commission himself only to later reject the commission&#8217;s findings. Since then Congress has repeatedly failed to devise a plan on which Republicans and Democrats can agree. If Congress does nothing, the ruinous tax increase will likely push the economy over a cliff and back into recession.</p>
<p><strong>Another Voter ID Law Upheld, if Delayed</strong></p>
<p>A three-judge panel of the Fourth District Court of Appeals in Washington, DC, upheld South Carolina&#8217;s voter ID law this week, the second defeat for proponents of voter fraud in as many weeks. Last week, Pennsylvania&#8217;s law was upheld. The headlines for both rulings, however, blared that judges had &#8220;blocked&#8221; the laws. In reality, the judges acknowledged that the rulings were too close to the election to be reasonably enforced by then, and so deferred enforcement until next year. In neither case did the judges find fault with the laws themselves. The only victory the Obama Justice Department can claim in challenging these laws is that they successfully delayed them until after Barack Obama&#8217;s re-election opportunity.<br />
Voter fraud came into play again this week when Obama supporters were caught on camera offering aid to investigators pretending to be seeking to vote for Obama more than once. No wonder Democrats object to the supposedly &#8220;racist&#8221; hindrance of having to present a photo ID at the polls before voting.</p>
<p><strong>Economy</strong></p>
<p><strong>Income Redistribution: Food Stamps Hit Another Peak</strong></p>
<p>Lost in the hoopla about a deceptive employment report released last Friday was a cruel reminder that our economic recovery is far from complete &#8212; the number of Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program recipients hit a record 46.68 million in July. Yes, one out of every seven Americans receives government help to buy food, at a monthly cost exceeding $6 billion. But hey, Obama cares.</p>
<p>While the USDA summary blamed the jump on weather-related issues in some parts of the country, the depressing fact is that the number of recipients has exceeded 46 million every month since last September, meaning that ever more people grow ever more dependent upon governmental assistance every day because their long-term employment prospects are bleak.</p>
<p>Few know more about lengthy stays on the unemployment line than the typical construction worker. Since construction employment peaked at 7.7 million in April 2006, the industry has shed more than two million jobs, with over one million of them during Obama&#8217;s term alone. This despite the $833 billion &#8220;stimulus&#8221; that promised &#8220;shovel-ready&#8221; projects to recover 400,000 of those jobs.</p>
<p>Instead, we&#8217;ve seen more and more once-proud workers forced onto food stamp rolls by the sheer necessity of needing to somehow feed a family. All Democrats seem to have stimulated is the caseload of thousands of government employees needed to continue refilling those electronic benefit transfer cards, month after agonizing month.</p>
<p><strong>Picking &#8212; and Creating &#8212; the Losers</strong></p>
<p>The $90 billion in &#8220;stimulus&#8221; debt spent on green energy was intended to jumpstart an industry the Obama administration wagered would be the wave of the future. But they failed to take a key aspect of the energy industry into account, as natural gas prices plunged thanks to new technology for extraction. That drop in natural gas prices has eased demand for coal, but Barack Obama&#8217;s pledge to make electricity more expensive is assisted by regulations that might force the closing of coal-fired plants accounting for a quarter of coal&#8217;s power production share. A study by energy industry experts calculated that utilities would need between $126 and $144 billion to retrofit and replace all that coal capacity.</p>
<p>The government won&#8217;t help utilities invest in fossil fuels, but they&#8217;re only too happy to support those who waste government subsidies with impunity. After the well-publicized failures of Solyndra, Ener1, and other &#8220;green energy&#8221; companies, two more companies are on the ropes after receiving millions. Abound Solar, recipient of $68 million (of about $370 million promised), filed for bankruptcy earlier this year. That&#8217;s hardly news except that Abound has also skipped out on nearly $2 million in unpaid property taxes and sold a product described as &#8220;working well unless the sun hit it.&#8221; Abound&#8217;s panels have an annoying tendency to underperform or even catch fire if the sun hits them.</p>
<p>In another success story, the future battery maker for the Chevy Volt has placed its employees on rotating furloughs due to a lack of demand. Compact Power, whose plant was built with $150 million in federal funds, hasn&#8217;t yet made a single battery for the Volt or a planned electric Ford Focus. But the lack of Volt sales has created a ripple effect at the Michigan plant that&#8217;s supposed to begin producing the batteries for it next year. The Volt&#8217;s batteries are currently made by a plant in South Korea, hardly a hotbed of American jobs.</p>
<p><strong>Security Department of Military Readiness:</strong> Romney&#8217;s Foreign Policy Foray Barack Obama&#8217;s foreign policy took a solid flogging this week at the hands of presidential hopeful Mitt Romney, just in time for his senior accomplice, vice president Joe Biden, to defend it against vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan in round two of the debates. Romney pointed out the long trail of foreign policy missteps and humiliations inflicted by Team Hope &#8216;n&#8217; Change. Among them: the blatant snubbing of our otherwise-close ally, Israel; the grave threat of allowing Iran&#8217;s nuclear ambitions to continue to develop; the stiff finger we gave to the millions who filled the streets of Iran in 2009 demanding freedom from an oppressive government; the dramatic cuts in our defense, leaving the U.S. in a weaker position to defend its vital interests abroad; and, most recently, the passive stance on the terrorist attacks on our embassies in the Middle East, culminating in deaths of four Americans, including one U.S. ambassador in Libya. While Obamaphiles drag the same tattered suit out of the closet, repeating, &#8220;The tide of war is receding,&#8221; the rest of the planet realizes the tide is not receding &#8212; it&#8217;s regrouping.</p>
<p>Romney apparently &#8220;gets&#8221; the threat from that tide, noting the substantial difference between administrations of the past and this one. Highlighting the critical role leadership plays in foreign affairs, Romney stated, &#8220;It is the responsibility of our president to use America&#8217;s great power to shape history &#8212; not to lead from behind, leaving our destiny at the mercy of events.&#8221; Driving the point home, Romney said, &#8220;I know the president hopes for a safer, freer and a more prosperous Middle East allied with the United States. I share this hope. But hope is not a strategy.&#8221; Likewise, while killing Osama bin Laden was a credit-worthy achievement, it, too, doesn&#8217;t amount to a coherent foreign policy. The threat from al-Qa&#8217;ida remains. Nor does a &#8220;run-for-the-exits&#8221; political move amount to a strategy.</p>
<p>How does Governor Romney propose to undo this mess? Simple: Leadership. Specifically, Romney outlined key pieces of his foreign policy that differed from the status quo. These include beefing up defense so that our words can be &#8220;backed up by deeds&#8221;; putting rogue nations like Iran on notice that the days of attempting to acquire &#8220;the bomb&#8221; are over through more stringent sanctions and, if necessary, actions; reaffirming ties with Israel and other Gulf &#8220;partners&#8221; by employing the old Arabian adage, &#8220;The enemy of my enemy is my friend&#8221;; reforming foreign assistance to bolster freedom, free enterprise and rule-of-law governance among nations we help; and championing free trade as a strategic tool of freedom, generally. Regarding this last point, Romney noted that Obama hasn&#8217;t signed a single new free-trade agreement during his tenure.</p>
<p>At least the military appreciates Romney&#8217;s straight-shooting approach. In a recent poll by the Military Times, former and current U.S. military personnel favor Romney over Obama by more than two-to-one, with character and economy handily besting other considerations, including national security, as factors. While we are not so naïve to presume that foreign policy is the pivotal issue in this election &#8212; either for former or current military members or for the rest of America &#8212; it&#8217;s certainly at least one among many important reasons why the Dear Leader must be ousted in November. No less than the fate of the nation hangs in the balance.</p>
<p><strong>Warfront With Jihadistan: Changing the Tune Yet Again</strong></p>
<p>Since the attacks on U.S. embassies in Libya, Egypt, Yemen and Tunisia on and around the anniversary of 9/11, we have chronicled the ever-changing story of the Obama administration. This week, the State Department claimed that it was &#8220;not our conclusion&#8221; that the protest and ensuing murders in Benghazi were caused by the anti-Islam movie trailer on YouTube. Yet White House officials, including Barack Obama himself in his shameful UN speech and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, repeatedly blamed the violence on the video. Now State wants us to believe that they never believed what they continued to say.</p>
<p>Not only didn&#8217;t they believe their own spin, but the State Department also now says there wasn&#8217;t a protest at all. The murder of Ambassador Chris Stevens, two former Navy SEALs and another security officer was simply the deliberate work of al-Qa&#8217;ida terrorists. This is finally a credible story, but why did it take a month for them to admit it?</p>
<p>In related news, Obama bragged while on the campaign trail of his foreign-policy promises kept. &#8220;Now, four years ago, I made a few commitments to you,&#8221; said Obama. &#8220;I told you I&#8217;d end the war in Iraq, and I did. I said I&#8217;d end the war in Afghanistan, and we are. I said we&#8217;d refocus on the people who actually attacked us on 9/11 &#8212; and today, al-Qa&#8217;ida is on its heels and Osama bin Laden is no more.&#8221;</p>
<p>His claims are full of holes. If al-Qa&#8217;ida successfully executed an attack on our embassies on the anniversary of their most successful terrorist attack, how exactly are they &#8220;on their heels&#8221;? They also killed a security official at the embassy in Yemen Thursday.</p>
<p>Furthermore, reports the Associated Press, &#8220;Al-Qaida is rebuilding in Iraq and has set up training camps for insurgents in the nation&#8217;s western deserts as the extremist group seizes on regional instability and government security failures to regain strength, officials say. Iraq has seen a jump in al-Qaida attacks over the last 10 weeks, and officials believe most of the fighters are former prisoners who have either escaped from jail or were released by Iraqi authorities for lack of evidence after the U.S. military withdrawal last December.&#8221;</p>
<p>It&#8217;s almost as if the commander in chief doesn&#8217;t want to lead the world&#8217;s only super power.</p>
<p><strong>Immigration Front: Border Patrol Agent Update</strong></p>
<p>Last week, we noted that U.S. Border Patrol Agent Nicholas Ivie was killed in the line of duty, and we pondered if there was a connection with Fast and Furious. Tragically, however, it turns out that Ivie was killed by friendly fire.</p>
<p>According to the Associated Press, &#8220;The head of the U.S. Border Patrol agents&#8217; union says the agent killed last week in a shooting in southern Arizona apparently opened fire on two colleagues thinking they were armed smugglers and was killed when they returned fire.&#8221; He died at the scene. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Ivie&#8217;s wife and two children.</p>
<p><strong>United States Navy Birthday</strong></p>
<p>On Oct. 13, 1775, the U.S. Navy was born when the Continental Congress authorized the arming of two sailing vessels with 80 men and 10 carriage guns in order to intercept British supply and munitions transports. The Declaration of Independence came nine months later, followed by the creation of the Department of the Navy in 1798. Today, our Navy is the most powerful in the world. <p><strong>Second Amendment: The Chicago Way</strong></p>
<p>Crime is up in Chicago this year (and not just due to the Obama campaign), with murders increasing a staggering 25 percent from last year&#8217;s already incredibly high body count. The city and surrounding Cook County have over 9,00 inmates, almost the local jail&#8217;s capacity of 10,155. Throw in street gangs, drug use, high-school dropouts, and it&#8217;s obvious what needs to be done in Chicago: Tax guns and ammunition. Because all gangsters will pay taxes when they buy their legal guns and ammo.</p>
<p>Once again blaming inanimate objects instead of criminals, Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle wants to impose a &#8220;violence tax&#8221; on guns and ammunition sold in the city and suburbs. &#8220;If we were to pursue a tax on something like guns and ammo &#8230; it is consistent with our commitment to pursuing violence reduction in the city and in the county,&#8221; Kurt Summers, Preckwinkle&#8217;s chief of staff, said, adding that the idea is to reduce the number of guns in circulation. Left unexplained, of course, was how removing objects that don&#8217;t commit violence will reduce violence, but leftist logic has always been sketchy. We propose a violence tax on the perps illegally using firearms to commit violent crime. Say, 20 to 30?</p>
<p>Gun rights proponents rightfully vow to fight Preckwinkle&#8217;s tax idea. &#8220;This is just another example of the blame game. &#8230; [T]hey want to make legal gun owners &#8212; guys like me &#8212; the scapegoat,&#8221; said Todd Vandermyde, an NRA lobbyist who works in Springfield. He said this is an unfair tax on a constitutional right that will mostly hurt the poor.</p>
<p>Two bills in the Illinois legislature would create an explicit tax on ammunition, but both bills are currently parked in the House Rules Committee. These types of tax attacks on constitutional rights have been tried before and been successfully defeated. Let&#8217;s hope these two bills share the same fate.</p>
<p><strong>Leftists Use Science to Justify Trampling Religious Liberty</strong></p>
<p>Four hundred years after the Pilgrims journeyed to the New World in search of religious liberty, the president of this New World has been waging war against that religious liberty. Last week on the campaign trail, Barack Obama boasted of ObamaCare&#8217;s mandate that employers purchase insurance to cover contraception, including abortifacients: &#8220;I don&#8217;t think a college student &#8230; should have to choose between textbooks or the preventive care that she needs. That&#8217;s why we passed this law. And I am proud of it.&#8221;</p>
<p>He claims to allow exemptions for religious organizations, but even this flies in the face of liberty by relegating religious practice to the realm of &#8220;tolerated&#8221; rather than &#8220;free.&#8221; And in order to receive an exemption, an organization must meet Obama&#8217;s criteria of &#8220;religious,&#8221; which apparently a Bible publisher does not. Tyndale House Publishers, the Christian publisher named after William Tyndale, who was strangled and burned at the stake in 1536 for translating the Bible into English, sued the government over the mandate. If a Bible publisher isn&#8217;t religious, we&#8217;re not sure what is. Of course, if Tyndale set up shop in a government park or building, we imagine the administration would sing a different tune.</p>
<p>Supporting Obama&#8217;s war on religion, a new study found that free birth control results in significantly lower abortion and teen-birth rates. The study tracked 9,000 St. Louis women from 2008 to 2010 and concluded that, when unhindered by costs, women select more effective contraceptives &#8212; namely, implanted devices &#8212; over birth-control pills, thereby reducing the rate of pregnancy. Predictably, the authors claim that this proves ObamaCare&#8217;s contraception mandate works. What these results fail to address, however, are the myriad consequences of promiscuous sexual activity: STDs, emotional distress, family breakdown &#8212; the list goes on. The truth is that there is something that neutralizes all of these plus unintended pregnancies and works 100 percent of the time. It&#8217;s called abstinence. But to say so is akin to splashing leftists with holy water.</p>
<p><strong>Faith and Family: Protestants Now a Minority</strong></p>
<p>The U.S. made history this year. For the first time ever, Protestants represented less than half the population. The Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life reports that just 48 percent of Americans can be classified as Protestant. For the first time, no Protestants hold seats on the Supreme Court, and the GOP presidential ticket has no Protestants. Much of the change is due to the growth of nondenominational churches, which aren&#8217;t classified as Protestant, as well as a sharp increase in those who claim no religion at all.</p>
<p>The study seems to be another indicator that we are becoming ever more like Western Europe &#8212; a post-Christian nation saddled with a massive debt-financed welfare state because the church is largely absent. The non-religious tend to vote Democrat at least as heavily as Evangelical Christians vote Republican, and the latter seems to be a shrinking population. We would note that the GOP has largely failed to make the case that smaller government benefits people of all stripes and religious backgrounds, and that one need not embrace religion to support and defend our Constitution. But if the trend continues &#8212; not to mention the trend of minorities voting Democrat &#8212; the GOP could be in serious electoral jeopardy.</p>
<p><strong>And Last&#8230;</strong></p>
<p>Are you planning to carve a pumpkin for Halloween but unsure what design to carve? Well, you&#8217;re in luck, because Obama&#8217;s Energy Department has some helpful suggestions. &#8220;Green energy is going orange for Halloween,&#8221; reports CNS News, &#8220;as the U.S. Energy Department offers downloadable pumpkin-carving patterns on its website. The &#8216;Energy-ween&#8217; designs include a windmill, solar panel, and compact fluorescent light bulb.&#8221; Those may not be the brightest ideas, but on the other hand, the sheer quantity of taxpayer money wasted on these projects is pretty scary. Perhaps we should just cut right to the chase and carve the scariest Jack-o-lantern of all: One that says, &#8220;$16,000,000,000,000.&#8221;</p>
<p>Tonight (Sorry, I posted AP&#8217;s article late)the President and Romney go at each other again, with another LEFTY as moderator. The format will be &#8220;town hall sryle&#8221; where the questions will come from the audience, you can be sure that each side will have &#8220;stooges&#8221; asking some of the questions, with Obama will come out swinging, with the 47% as a prime topic. If Romney can keep his cool and concentrate on Obama&#8217;s record. Then I believe we will be HOME&#8230;&#8230;..see ya&#8217;all in the funny papers&#8230;&#8230;..AP</p>

<p>You know, Deb and I have met so many wonderful people since the inception of our site. Once again, one of our friends we’ve met gave me a good shot of inspiration this morning. Her name is Bonnie.</p>
<p>I was checking my e-mails earlier and opened one up from our ole buddy Bonnie in North Carolina. In less than 5 minutes, my day had been “made!” </p>
<p>Quickly, Bonnie is a PATRIOT. She reads, writes, researches, and ACTS, daily in her own quest to get the message out to others in regards to the goings on in our great Country. She’s a tireless worker, and through this post this morning I’d just like to say, “Thank you Bonnie, I appreciate everything you do! God Bless you!”</p>
<p>Edmund Burke wrote, “Nobody makes a greater mistake than he who did nothing…because he could do only a little.”</p>
<p><span id="more-1592"></span></p>
<p>How many of you out there look at things from that perspective? I know there’s times I feel that way, but as Burke states, this is a tremendous mistake on our part. </p>
<p>I’m sure you’ve all heard the phrase, which incidentally my Dad pounded into me from a very young age… “pennies MAKE dollars!” Though that statement is used as an example of fiscal responsibility, and well taken on my part, Burke is actually saying the same thing, but from a life in general standpoint.</p>
<p>Pennies DO make dollars…they add up. Over the course of time they can amass quite a “chunk of change,” right? You betcha!</p>
<p>So, like pennies “adding up,” we the people, although only one voice individually, once you group us together, in a “big wad” so to speak, suddenly a little peep becomes a mighty roar. A tidal wave of like-minded views that indeed COMMAND attention.</p>
<p>People listen, because…They Have To! You only have to look no further than say…community organizing. Through sheer numbers, AND  ORGANIZATION, these people have become a force to be reckoned with. Sad…but true.</p>
<p>The problem with this is that the people that have been “organized” to push for a better way of life, have been wronged, and not just in a minor way. What’s taken place with this “community organizing” scheme, yes, that’s exactly what it is, is our politicians have used these people as pawns to achieve THEIR OWN personal gains.</p>
<p>They have literally destroyed their work ethic, their desire to better themselves, their family unit as a whole, and in all honesty, their lives today are no better than they were when this community organizing, and all other related “programs” started back in the 60’s.</p>
<p>Look at the trillions of dollars spent since all these programs were started, and in reality, they’re even worse off today than when any of this started. Why? Because they’ve literally…sold their souls. </p>
<p>They BELIEVE today that they’re not accountable to work. They BELIEVE they’re “entitled” to stay at home, have a roof over their head, have a flat screen TV, have their power and food supplied to them, draw a government paycheck, have medical care, and have children in many cases, simply to bilk the system out of even more benefits…all FOR FREE!</p>
<p>Free for them, but you and I, as taxpayers, are paying dearly. In many instances today, this is literally taking food out of our own children’s mouths!</p>
<p>Then, pan out and look at the bigger picture of all this “community organizing.” Again looking at this, and all these other programs advocated by today’s corrupt political system, and you see not only the destruction of these people who have sold their souls, but literally…the destruction of our Country!</p>
<p>All the above are a fine example of a man or woman, though only one individually, but by banding together with others have…made their voices heard! Sure, they were led and manipulated by people who in reality didn’t give a hoot about them, but today, this is a mute-point. The “indoctrination” has already taken place!</p>
<p>A LITTLE bit of something…for NOTHING!</p>
<p>Through this political correctness, we the people are losing all our morals, standards, values, and freedoms that we’ve always experienced.</p>
<p>As great as living in a Democracy is, we’re seeing today, first hand, the downside of a Democracy…the freedom it allows for evil-minded people to exploit our system for the betterment of themselves.</p>
<p>Seems to me it’s past time for we the people, the law abiding, God fearing, hard-working, family oriented people to start a little community organizing ourselves. Bonnie, I assure you is doing her part!<br />
Where to start? I personally can think of no better place than to reinforce your relationship with God. You don’t have to look far to see the agendas in place to weaken, or totally silence our religious convictions. </p>
<p>No religion in government, no religion in schools, no “Merry Christmas, no In God We Trust, no…no…no…no…NO!</p>
<p>Please, watch this video. Bonnie hit a homerun this morning sending this to me. Again, I received such a lift viewing it.</p>
<p>It’ll take less than 5 minutes of your time, BUT, the message rings crystal clear. We ALL NEED…God in our lives! OUR COUNTRY needs God back involved in it much more than is taking place….</p>

<p>Can’t you see, hear, AND feel his conviction? To me…it was obvious. I’d sure like to get to that point in my own conviction! It must be such a wonderful feeling, wouldn’t you think?</p>
<p>That man, President Ronald Reagan, loved his GOD, and his Country…our Country! After listening to President Reagan, I feel very belittled in regards to myself, and my own little to no attempt, in saving our freedoms for our children and grandchildren.</p>
<p>He was…a GREAT AMERICAN.</p>
<p>Then, on the flipside, look at the shape our political system is in today. Politicians attempting to “sell their seats,” reckless to no fiscal responsibility, at least two downgrades in our credit as a Country, and politicians who seem as if they’d rather lie than eat.</p>
<p>We have elected a man who attended a church, for 20 years or so, that incited racial violence and anti-American rhetoric.  BUT, if you ask him about it…he never heard of such??</p>
<p>He was, prior to politics…a community organizer, whose philosophy is…the ends justify the means. Virtue, honesty, morals, standards, nor integrity mean squat. Nuff said.</p>
<p>So in closing this morning, I’d like for all of you to stop and contemplate our situation today. Regardless of what our “political elite,” or our media, or our educational systems would like us to believe, know this. America…God DID shed his grace on thee. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Good morning guys. I’d like to hear that everyone is doing fine, and your life is on track and things are going very well for you.</p>
<p>Today’s topic is simply about some things going on today that I find very disturbing. Yep, I’m a “good ole country boy,” whom many across this great Nation of ours find…simple.</p>
<p>In reality, I guess I am. I live simply in my lifestyle. This to me is…my cup of tea. I love being around people, yet, I love being to myself just as much. I enjoy the simple things in life. I like to read a book, grow a garden, cook, work, take a gun out and plink some cans, or, on a fall Saturday afternoon, just kick back in my recliner and watch a little football.</p>
<p>Again, in reality, I guess I am truly…a Simple Man. Not mentally as some may like to suggest, especially after today’s post, but in my choice in how I choose to live MY life.</p>
<p>This is one of the reasons why I love this great Country of ours. It provides each and every one of us with this freedom…the freedom of choice.</p>
<p>Think about that for a moment. Look around worldwide and ponder for a minute or two the other Countries worldwide who enjoy that freedom…the freedom of choice. The freedom of individuality. The freedom to say what you want. The freedom to make something of yourself, and build a foundation for your children to grow from. </p>

<p>Through this, hoping that you’ve provided for them, through your own sweat, desire, financial accountability, and work ethic, an opportunity to be even better…than you were!</p>
<p>Simply put, this is why so many people worldwide have immigrated here. Freedom!</p>
<p>This is what America is about. You notice I didn’t use the term…WAS all about. Yet, today, this is not only just an idle threat, but in actuality, the very road we as a Country are traveling. I find this very, very disturbing, or TICKED!</p>
<p>What am I so ticked about? Keep readin…</p>
<p>First off, at 56 years old, oops, I meant 36, I went to renew my Florida driver’s license. No biggie, right? WRONG!</p>
<p>I went 3 times. Yeah, I finally got em, but it was like pullin teeth!</p>
<p>Quickly, my first trip, I didn’t have my birth certificate. Poor Deb had the dern thing put up, but I STILL have not found it.</p>
<p> I’d heard I needed it, but after pulling up the State of Florida DMV website, it does NOT state this as a requirement. SO, I printed it up and…took it with me!</p>
<p>Here is what’s on the State of Florida DMV site…copied and pasted. Checked this morning, and it still reads this way. Check out the spelling of the word requirements…seems I’m not the only simple man runnin around, huh?</p>
<p>Document requirments include:<strong> <em>Primary Identification, </em>Proof of Social Security Number, 2 Proofs of Residential Address…</strong></p>
<p>Primary ID does NOT just mean a birth certificate, I’m sorry. The man behind the desk says…you HAVE TO have a birth certificate!</p>
<p>I showed him the print out, and his remark… “We’ve changed it.” I’m like, “Well CHANGE the dern website!”</p>
<p>The kicker here….I’ve had a FLORIDA DRIVER’S LICENSE for…40 YEARS! Same number on my license, same guy in the photo, BUT, I have to show a birth certificate, to PROVE…I’m the same guy???</p>
<p>“I mean, you plant a tater…ya get a tater, right??”</p>
<p>So, no driver’s license…</p>
<p>It gets worse on my second trip, but, I’ll spare you the details. Again though, I’ve been a resident of Florida for 56 years, I mean 36, I have had a Florida driver’s license for 40 years, YET, I may not be who I say I am…even with my picture on my DL to be renewed???</p>
<p>I DID go to a State Representative’s office here in town, and…showed my rearend! Why…I was ticked!</p>
<p>They took my phone number, and actually they called me back Monday. I’ll call them today to find out what they have to say.</p>
<p>Honestly, if this was all I had to be ticked about…life would be pretty dern good. I could work through that. Sadly today, I stay more ticked than say, “a legless Ethiopian watchin a doughnut roll down a hill!”</p>
<p>Lookin back, I watched the President of the United States of America…bow to a Saudi king? </p>
<p>Durin the last campaign, I saw a Presidential candidate standing on a podium with his hands folded over his crotch, instead of over his heart.</p>
<p>He refused to wear an American Flag pin for the longest time.</p>
<p> He THEN became President??</p>
<p>When talkin about the Vice Presidential nominee of the Republican Party, his opposition, he described her as follows. “You can put lipstick on a pig, but…it’s STILL a pig.” Pretty witty, huh?</p>
<p>In response, we have a sayin here in the South… “ya cain’t polish a turd.” I’m jus sayin.</p>
<p>He also let the media have a field day at Mrs. Palin’s expense, vilifying her children, her intelligence, just about any and everything was fair game. You remember? YET, when any negativity came out about his own wife, this became very personal, and he…wouldn’t stand for it.</p>
<p>This is how the game is played today. As a liberal, you’re allowed to attack, vilify, degrade, name call, or worse. This is all just fine. It matters not that any of it may be lies, because, to the liberally minded this is…politically correct. </p>
<p>THE END, justifies the means. Their “prophet,” Saul Alinsky clearly states this. He also tips his hat to Lucifer, stating that in the end…he won his own kingdom.</p>
<p>Again, down South, we have a sayin… “Don’t argue with an idiot. He’ll drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.” </p>
<p>We had the FORMER Speaker of the House tell us, the American people, that in order to find out what’s in the Health Care Bill, all 2,000 and somethin pages of the dern thing, we need to PASS IT to see. Good night, what have we come to here in our Country?</p>
<p>Have we became so indoctrinated ourselves that if a politician now tells us to go to hell in such a way…that we look forward to the trip? I wonder?</p>
<p>I feel we all need to keep in mind that “politicians and diapers have one thing in common. They both need to be CHANGED regularly…and for the same reason!”</p>
<p>We have a president who refuses to describe our latest embassy attack as terrorism. Do you remember as well, after the Fort Hood shooting, he asked us not to jump to conclusions? </p>
<p>Ah…Mr. President, the gunman was shouting Allah Akbar during the rampage. I wouldn’t really consider our thinkin of this bein a terrorist attack as jumpin to conclusions, huh? But, shoot, I’m just a simple man. What do I know?</p>
<p>You remember the Prof. Gates incident. I mean a college professor, whose house the police were called to, to check out a possible break-in? </p>
<p>The very appreciative Prof. Gates hollered out to the police officer when asked to identify himself… “Your Mama?” This declaration from a highly educated man, teaching at one of our schools of higher learning? </p>
<p>I don’t know about the rest of you guys, but instead of his answer sounding scholarly, or appropriate in regards to the situation, to me…it sounded pretty simple. Maybe Prof. Gates is a closet redneck. I don’t know??</p>
<p>Yet, when first made aware of this incident, our President, ON NATIONAL Television, without knowing ANY of the facts, declared the incident was racially motivated? Maybe it’s just me, but I felt like he JUST MIGHT have been…jumpin to conclusions.</p>
<p>We have a sayin down South… “better to remain silent and thought a fool, than to speak and remove ALL doubt.”</p>
<p>We have a President today that stated years back…we’ll spend our way out of debt.</p>
<p>You ever heard of such a thing? This statement got me to thinkin some in regards to our elected leaders and their constituents. “Crowded elevators probably smell differently to midgets,” wouldn’t ya think?</p>
<p>We have a President who stated worldwide that America is NOT a Christian Nation. That ticks me off too.</p>
<p>Our Declaration of Independence states quite clearly…  “When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the<strong> Laws of Nature and of Nature&#8217;s God entitle them …”</strong></p>
<p>“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, <strong>that they are endowed by their Creator</strong> with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness…”</p>
<p>“And for the support of this Declaration, <strong>with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence,</strong> we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”</p>
<p>Today I feel we as American people need to make this very same pledge! “We mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor.”</p>
<p>You may want to reread our Declaration of Independence. Read the very reasons WHY, we declared our Independence. It’s uncanny the similarities in the reasoning for this, and what our very own political leaders are advocating today as law.</p>
<p>Today, political correctness suggests that religion is not only bogus, is for the old or very young, but scientifically the events that God’s Word describes, just couldn’t have happened. I’ll only state that the day is indeed coming when these very same people will realize…they missed the boat.</p>
<p>I’d sure have liked to been a “fly on the wall” when Madeline O’Hare met our Lord and Master, huh?</p>
<p>It’s very confusing to me though that when speaking on the topic of Islam (the religion of peace), how our officials, AND our media tread very, very lightly. You reckon it’s probably because…they KNOW better?</p>
<p>On today’s topic, I could go on, and on, and on, but…I won’t.</p>
<p>I only wanted to kinda take a tongue in cheek approach and look at some things going on that I find baffling. Okay, they ain’t so much baffling to me as they REALLY DO…tick me off!</p>
<p>We could discuss our children, and their education. We could talk about government spending, entitlements, socialism, unions, the media, unemployment, and it in reality is almost unending.</p>
<p>BUT I do want to make perfectly clear one issue that is very, very important in regards to our Nation.</p>
<p>There is the Presidential election coming up in November! You MUST get out and vote! In all honesty, the very framework laid out for us by our Founding Fathers is seriously at risk! </p>
<p>Personally, I’d not like to be remembered by our children and our children’s children, as the generation that DIDN’T pass along the very same freedoms that we ourselves experienced. That in itself, would be a burden almost too great to bear.</p>
<p>Look once more at our debt as a Country piling up. Their solution…borrow more…spend more…print more, and if re-elected, we the working, law abiding, God fearing citizen will be…TAXED MORE! </p>
<p>If we’re not very, very careful, this is going to implode our economy, IF, it’s not already too late for us to recover.</p>
<p>So once more…get out and vote! Do your part. Let’s “WE the People” take back our Country, but we can’t stop there. We HAVE to hold our politicians accountable. THIS IS our right!</p>
<p>We’ve seen what, and where, complacency gets us, have we not? So in closing let’s look at one more piece of advice from a simple man…</p>
<p>“You don’t need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive…TWICE!” </p>
<p>Let’s not make the same mistake that we made in the last election cycle…vote for the American.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Good morning to you all. We hope everyone is doing well this morning and this finds you in good health today and every day.</p>
<p>You know, our Country in my lifetime, has been known as the greatest Country on this earth. I’ve always been proud to be a citizen of the United States of America…still am. But, in reality, do I still consider America to be the greatest Country on earth?</p>
<p>I have to say yes, but my feelings waver on this actually quite often anymore. I see far too many things going on in our Country today that if not stopped, will cause the destruction of our Country as I’ve always known it.</p>
<p>What does this mean? </p>
<p>First off it means our children, our grandchildren, and all their children will never experience the America that I knew and loved. This includes the ability to go to work, EARN a living, save, sacrifice, or even start their own business to sell off down the road, or pass down to their children.</p>
<p>Since the inception of our Country, immigrants have flocked here to live the American Dream. The reasoning for this is very simple. Life here was much better than the lives they led in their own countries, and yes, it really is that simple.</p>
<p><span id="more-1435"></span></p>
<p>America afforded one and all the opportunity to better your lives, build a future, raise your children, and always offered a good, solid education to boot. All good things. You got out of life here in our Country…what you put into it! You worked your rear-end off…you were rewarded. You didn’t, you just scraped by, and…rightfully so.</p>
<p>They came in droves to experience such a lifestyle that once more was not attainable in their own countries, or at least not to the extent that was afforded here. They not only came for all the reasons listed above, but…TO BE FREE!</p>
<p>Free to live their lives. A freedom they, in many cases, weren’t allowed to enjoy in their own countries…and were repressed many times at the barrel of a gun.</p>
<p>Then, the real kicker here is that they came to…BECOME AMERICANS! </p>
<p>They WANTED to learn to speak the language, to obey our laws, to have the opportunity to vote, and to salute and respect our flag. They were thankful for the opportunity to support and live by the rules set forth by our Constitution, and even to lay down their own lives defending these freedoms and our Country as a whole!</p>
<p>Today, in many, many cases this is not true. Many in our Country today…don’t even LIKE our Country, much less love our Country! This statement, as terrible as it is, is the case! It’s not something I “pulled out of the air,” but is fact!</p>
<p>Upon arrival in our Country, many knelt down and kissed the land, so very thankful for just being here! Why…because we were the greatest Country on earth! We were…FREE!</p>
<p>So, with all these tremendous opportunities and attributes that come with being an American, why today, do I state my conviction that we live in the greatest Country on earth is wavering?</p>
<p>Well my friends, the reasons are many, and most of you are quite aware of them yourselves. We live today, here in the United States, with a government that has lost its way, and in many instances is totally out of control.</p>
<p>One example of this is spending! I’ve never in my life witnessed such total and complete waste of monies. NEVER! Not only is this act atrocious, in my belief, it is literally…treasonous! It is!</p>
<p>Isn’t it a simple fact that if you commit acts that are detrimental to your Country, its citizens, and the health and stability of your Country, then these acts are simply…treasonous? </p>
<p>Well, try and get me to understand the passing of many laws that are made by today’s officials, that by the way, many ARE unconstitutional, and through this…are not acts of treason? </p>
<p>Since when do we pass bills, health care is but one, that our House of Representatives and our Senate…DON’T EVEN READ?? Do you remember Pelosi making the statement… “Well, if we want to know what’s in it…we first have to pass it?” Good night people, for God’s sake, WAKE UP!</p>
<p> I spent quite a while this morning watching our “Debt Clock” run. It literally is infuriating. THAT IS, OUR money people, NOT theirs, right? </p>
<p>How’s your standard of living today, versus 5 years ago, or possibly even…5 weeks ago? Watch the debt clock run and you may consider your standard of living…from a mere 5 minutes ago! Really!</p>

<p>Our debt is pushing 16 trillion dollars! 16 trillion! The debt per citizen is $50,008 per person…and climbing. Here’s the kicker though, the debt PER TAXPAYER is…$138,213! YET, our administration’s answer is…MORE TAXES! THIS IS insanity.</p>
<p>The US total interest in 2012, as of this moment, is $3,794,131,197.00. This makes the interest payments per citizen a mere…$12,108.00! That’s INTEREST alone, my friends!</p>
<p> THE TOTAL US debt is almost 60 trillion dollars! This makes the total US debt per citizen $182, 947.00, and family debt $691,620.00.</p>
<p>Other examples…</p>
<p>State Revenue is $1,467,343,451,213.00. State Debt is 1,102,840,799.00, BUT, <strong>those numbers were obsolete before I ever got them to paper.</strong></p>
<p>Local Revenue is $1,102,797,773,681.00. Local Debt is $1,742,679,345,448.00. Again, obsolete before I penned them.</p>
<p>Assets per citizen are $266,014.00. LIABILITIES PER CITIZEN are $1,045,037.00. That last number, Liabilities PER citizen again is…one million, forty-five thousand, thirty-seven dollars! PER CITIZEN! This is insane!</p>
<p>There are 313,385,834 people in the US. <strong>Of which, 113,430,384 are INCOME taxpayers. </strong></p>
<p>The official unemployment numbers are 12,842,892. <strong>THE ACTUAL unemployment numbers are 22,735,634.</strong></p>
<p>There ARE 15,398,055 state/local employees.</p>
<p>There ARE 4,337,886 federal employees. Both these are growing. Funded and paid for…BY THE TAXPAYER!</p>
<p><strong>THERE ARE 46,809,042 FOOD STAMP RECIPIENTS! </strong></p>
<p>Our demise as a Country is being funded, and paid for in full…by we, the taxpayer. Again, and please understand your dilemma as a US taxpayer…YOU ARE FUNDING YOUR OWN DEMISE!! Plain and simple truths. The destruction of your Country is being paid for …by you!</p>
<p>Cloward and Piven’s stated that in order to “CHANGE America,” it could be done by simply over burdening the Country’s resources by not getting people off of welfare rolls, BUT BY GETTING MORE AND MORE PEOPLE ONTO WELFARE ROLLS!</p>
<p>So, through the destruction , or orchestration of an economic collapse, recession, depression, or whatever they want to call it, America as we know it will cease to exist.</p>
<p>What are the promises of our leaders today…we WILL help the poor! Well, since the mid-sixties, and the establishment of “programs to help the poor,” there are more “poor” in America today than ever before…and these numbers grow daily! IT AIN’T workin folks! Of course, Am-Trak, the Postal Service, and any other government sponsored program are either! </p>
<p>This entire scenario is being orchestrated by our elected officials, the unions, the mainstream media, our educational system, and who knows who else? IT IS the buying of votes, for mere pennies on the dollar, and through the dumbing down of our citizen’s, our government is now running roughshod, and trampling our Constitution in the process! </p>
<p>We the people are now ignored. Our voices are not heard, and our politicians have become so arrogant and powerful, through the sheer numbers of constituents who now believe, and have been indoctrinated by our politicians…that what’s ours, is now theirs! </p>
<p>We’ve allowed our leaders, for their own personal wealth and power to shred our Constitution, and by doing so, take more and more control over our lives, and the ability to work and feed our families. It is…a sad day in our Country!</p>
<p>We have the ability to manufacture, or produce ANYTHING we need right here in the good ole USA. Yet through government regulation, unionization, taxation, and the “poor entitled folks” RELAXATION, our Country is being destroyed.</p>
<p>I look at union employees, and wonder what those guys are thinking. I mean, how many union jobs have been lost, forever mind you, simply because of excessive salaries, health care and retirement packages, and retirement pensions?</p>
<p> All forced upon the companies they were employed by! These same companies abilities to create jobs for the union employees now gone to other countries? This, simply because their abilities to make a profit while still being able to compete with foreign companies was no longer part of the equation.</p>
<p> Jobs that are now gone forever…to other countries! Greed from the unions, greed from the government through excessive taxation, as well as regulations placed upon them by the government no longer allowed these companies to conduct business here in the US.</p>
<p>So why have we lost SO many jobs? Thank Uncle Sam and his cronies. No work, this causing more unemployed, all being forced into some type of government program just to exist, and before long…TOTAL CONTROL! GOOD BYE USA!</p>
<p>So in closing today, we are losing our Country, our freedoms, our morals, and our rights as citizens through political correctness, or “the watering down of our system.”</p>
<p>Our Country was born upon our belief in God, our right to free speech, and the liberties provided to us by our Constitution.</p>
<p>Yet, our free speech is being limited, if not a liberal or even if not a person of color. This is true. Today, we the “non-racists” are labeled…as racist!</p>
<p>If you believe in our Founding Fathers vision of our Country, we the “non-terrorists or radicals” are labeled as…terrorists and radicals.</p>
<p>If you believe our government and our elected officials have run amok, we’re labeled as…right wing extremists. </p>
<p>We as a Country have become like a glass of wine. A glass of pure, undiluted wine is a very good thing, and one of life’s pleasures, right? Yet, you keep bringing other properties, water as an example, and adding this to the product, then the wine becomes less and less what it once was. </p>
<p>This is where we’re at today in our Country. We are becoming so broken down, or diluted, through political correctness, that our abilities to enjoy our lives as Americans, becomes less and less what they once were.</p>
<p>Our good friend John sent us an e-mail that I thoroughly enjoyed…19,000 words. Here’s one of the examples I’m talking about that is expressed much better than I possibly could express it, but sums up all my above jibberish…</p>

<p>His reasoning for doing so is simply trying to educate as many as he can in the goings on of our elected officials today. </p>
<p>It is an election year my friends, and it’s a very, very important election. Vote with your heart, and help us to restore our Country back to the greatness it deserves! God Bless us all!</p>
<p><strong>THE ARROGANCE OF POWER …….</strong>Senator Robert C. Byrd</p>
<p><em>“I believe in this great and beautiful country. I have studied its roots. I have gloried in the wisdom of its magnificent Constitution, and its inimitable history. I have marveled at the wisdom of its founders and its framers. Generation after generation of Americans has understood the lofty ideals that underline our great Republic. I have been inspired by the story of their sacrifice and their strength.   </p>
<p>But today, I weep for my country. I have watched the events of recent months with a heavy heart. No more is the image of America one of strong, yet benevolent peacekeeper. The image of America has changed. Around the globe, our friend’s mistrust us, our word is disputed, our intentions questioned.<br />

<p><em>Instead of reasoning with those with whom we disagree, we demand obedience, or threaten recrimination. Instead of isolating our enemy, we seem to have succeeded in isolating ourselves. We proclaim a new doctrine of preemption which is understood by few and feared by many. We say that the United States has the right to turn it’s firepower on any corner of the globe which might be suspect of terrorism. As a result, the world has become a more dangerous place.” </em></p>
<p><strong>SUPREME COURT DECISION on OBAMACARE………..</strong>If Senator Byrd were alive today, I can see him reaching inside his jacket, taking out his copy of the Constitution, and addressing the members of Congress, and reading what our Founding Fathers had written , and of course adding his opinion. I have to believe that the Founding Fathers never could have realized how political the Supreme Court has become. The most arguementive cases that I can remember, was the ROE v. WADE which was decided with a 7-2 vote, the BROWN v. Board of Education which the vote was delayed, until Chief Justice Warren convinced the two negative vote to comply with the majority and a convincing 9-0 vote became unanimous………..In respect to the now pending case before the Supreme Court. No matter what you see on TV, or read in your local newspaper. The consensus of the so called “experts” the general consensus is there are 4 liberal votes, 4 conservative votes with Justice Kennedy being the swing vote. Watching this debate unfold, it becomes clear to me, that the final decision depends not on previous cases or precedent but on the political grounding of the justices. In that sense, the conservative wing may have the votes. What is disturbing me is the fact that whoever is the fifth justice, has enormous power. In that case, it should trouble the rue conservative, who might like the result in this case, but should also be aware, that this case may have been decided the day Kennedy was appointed, by President Ronald Reagan. That suggests former Justice Harlan Fiske Stone was correct when he said,<em> “the law is what 5 Justices say it is.” </em><strong>THAT IS NOT A COMFORTING THOUGHT ABOUT OUR SYSTEM.</strong></p>
<p><em> “I DID NOT SAY IT WAS YOUR FAULT, I WAS JUST BLAMING YOU.”   </em></p>
<p> <strong>THE ANTI—JOB LOBBY………….</strong>For months we’ve heard that the only obstacle to Congressional progress is the GOP refusal to work with Democrats But then what to make of the sudden opposition from regulators, liberals and some Senate Democrats to the bi-partisan JOBS ACT that passed the House 390-23 , just a few weeks ago ?&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.Hint!! Maybe the real obstacle is Washington’s refusal to cede any control over even a small corner of the private economy…. After months of haggling, the Senate passed the bill, 73-26 and is due to be signed by the President on April 5, 2012.</p>
<p>Actually there were e-mails that stated he did sign by executive order the pending “Dream Act “but for a unknown reason (at least to me) it never became effective. But what it did do, it stopped the automatic deportation of illegal aliens. With this order, the President  has now created more regulations in two and a half years than any other President has done in the same time frame. You can be sure that Obama has this Dream Act high on his agenda, as it effects about 1.1 million illegal immigrants……For what it’s worth, if he is  elected, Romney has pledged to remove, if it passes.</p>
<p><em>“BEHIND EVERY SUCCESSFUL MAN IS HIS WOMAN. BEHIND THE FALL OF A SUCCESSFUL MAN IS USUALLY ANOTHER WOMAN”</em></p>
<p><strong>SUPREMES 9, EPA ZERO………..</strong>The Justices rebuke the bureaucracy’s water torture…………These are hard times for economic liberty, UT the Supreme Court has offered a modest reason to hope……especially when the decide on ObamaCare. In this case the Court ruled that the EPA can’t terrorize Americans via regulation without giving them a day in court. In 2005, the Sackert family bought a mall parcel of land in an Idaho residential area, planning to build their home. Once construction started, the EPA decided, without notice, that the plot was a “wetland” because it was near a lake. There is no water on this property. He Agency’s pen pushers served the Sackets with a “compliance order” that they were violating the Clean Water Act and <strong>would be fined $37,500 per day for violating the Clean Water ACT, and would continue this fine until the Sachets restored their property to its original state. As Deputy Solicitor Stewart revealed during oral arguments, the Sackets were actually liable for twice that amount…..$37,500 for violating the Clean Water Act, and another$37,500 for violating the compliance order.</strong></p>
<p>As Justice Alito asked during oral arguments <em>“If you related the facts of this case as they came to us to an ordinary homeowner, don’t you think most ordinary homeowners would say this kind of thing can’t happen in the United States.”.</em> In a concurring opinion in Sackett v. EPA, Justice Alito accurately noted that <em>“despite the ruling the combination of the uncertain reach of the Clean Water Act and the draconian penalties imposed for the sort of violations alleged in this case still leaves property owners with little practical alternative but to dance to the EPA’s tune”</em> ……..Congress should amend the Clean Water Act and make the laws clearer.</p>
<p><em> “KNOWLEDGE IS KNOWING A TOMATO IS NOT A FRUIT. WISDOM IS NOT PUTTING IN A FRUIT SALAD.”  </em></p>
<p><strong>WHAT FEWER MARRIED AMERICANS MEAN for the NATION…………..</strong>NEARLY 49% of women in the U.S. have never been married. This is an all-time high. Beyond lower marriage rates an increasing amount of children are being born outside of marriage. These trends have consequences. While lower education levels are associated with higher rates of poverty, having a child outside of marriage dramatically increases the likelihood that the woman and her child will be poor and dependent on welfare across education levels. The poverty rate among single mothers with less than a high school diploma is over 45% compared to the mother having a high school education is 15%. If marriage becomes unachievable for all but the highly educated, then the American Dream will be endangered……which now brings us to the subject.<strong> “THE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN ACT,,,THE RE-AUTHORIZATION FUNDEMENTALLY FLAWED”…….”</strong>Despite the fact that each state has statues that punish domestic violence, the federal government intervened in 1994 with the Violence Against Women Act. The Senate is now expected to consider the newest re-authorization of the act, which includes radical changes that greatly alter the original purpose of the law, already problematic in its own right. Using federal agencies to fund the routine operations of domestic violence programs that State and local governments could provide is a misuse of federal resources and a distraction from concerns that are truly are the province of the federal government. Simply expanding” ‘THE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN ACT” framework with extensive new provisions and programs that have been inadequately assessed is sure to facilitate waste, fraud, and abuse and will not better protect women or victims of violence generally” The population as of 2010, indicates that there are 157.2 million women in the united States, and 153.2 million men, with women living to the age of 80. </p>
<p>In case you haven’t noticed this is a MAJOR ELECTION YEAR, and there is no question that the women’s vote will be a major factor in the results. Maybe there is an outstanding woman of color, who would be the new President’s running mate. </p>
<p><em>“War does not determine who is right, only who is left.”</em></p>
<p><strong>EQUALITY EQUALS EQUAL OUTCOMES is a BIG HOAX…….Part of Tom Sowell’s column…………</strong>The biggest hoax of the past two  generations is still  going strong, the latest example of this hoax is the joint crusade of the Department of Education and the Department of Justice against schools that discipline black males more than other students. According to Secretary Duncan this disparity in punishment violates the ‘promise of equity”…Just who made this “promise” remains unclear, and why equity should mean equal outcomes despite differences in behavior is even more unclear. This crusade by Holder and Duncan is only the latest in a long line of fraudulent arguments based on statistics. </p>
<p>Now Duncan and Holder want to play the race card in an ELECTION YEAR, at the expense of the education of black students.  Make no mistake about it, the black students who go to school to get an education are the main victims of the in the classroom disruptions whom Holder and Duncan are trying to protect. Promoting paranoia translates into votes. It is a very cynical political game, despite the lofty rhetoric used to disguise it. </p>
<p><em>“If I agreed with you, we would both be wrong”</em></p>
<p><strong>NOT SO- SMOOTH OPERATOR…….OBAMA</strong> increasingly comes across as devious and dishonest………….  Something’s happening to President Obama’s relationship with those who are not inclined to like his policies. They are now inclined not to like him. I’m referring to the broad, stable, on radical, non-birthed right. It is not due to the election and it’s not because the Republican candidates are so compelling and making such brilliant cases against him. That is not happening.</p>
<p>What is happening is the president is coming across more and more as a trimmer, as an operator who’s not operating in good faith. This is hardening positions and leading to increased political bitterness. And it’s his fault, too. As an increase in polarization is a bad thing, it’s a big fault. It started with the Catholic Church issue, followed by the “open mike’ with Russian President, the issue discussed dealt with protecting America with our missile defense  then came the 17 year old boy who was killed under dispute and unclear circumstances. The President immediately said “If I had a son he’d look like Travon” (the 17 year old). At first that seemed o.k., but suddenly there were death threats, and the public reaction seemed to be “Hey buddy, we don’t need you to personalize what is too dramatic all ready, it’s not about you”. Then his statements about the Supreme Court in respect to their making a decision on ObamaCare. All in all, this has not been a good week for Obama; all these things have hardened lines of opposition, and left opponents with an aversion that will not go away.</p>

<p><strong>THE EMPLOYEE RIGHTS ACT EMPOWERS WORKERS…….ABSTRACT:</strong> Labor unions should serve the interest of the employees, not the other way around, as often happens. Legislation introduced in Congress would go a long way toward making this a reality. The Employee Rights Act guarantees workers a private, informed uncoerced vote on unionizing. The bill also enables employees to re-elect, or unselect, their bargaining representative every three years. The Employee Rights Act further protects workers from union pressure and extortion&#8230; It requires unions to obtain workers permission before spending their dues on matters unrelated to collective bargaining. It also gives employees the right to vote on accepting a contract or before going on strike. These reforms would shift the balance of power in the workplace from unions to workers.</p>

<p><strong>AMERICA is STUCK WITH THE MIDEAST………</strong>Global oil markets and global commerce means that American will not be able to set this region off to the side……….THE Middle East is on fire. As waves of populist, ethnic and religious unrest sweep the region, long standing regimes totter like ten-pins, violent conflicts explode in once quiet countries, and all the rules seem up for grabs. The Israel-Palestinian peace process is on life support and Iran is marching steadily toward gaining a nuclear weapon. And even as President Obama assures us that he has Israel’s back, and will not countenance Iran getting a nuclear weapon, his administration speaks “about leading from behind” and of a “pivot toward Asia.”………….Many observers see all this as reflecting a sharp decline in American power.</p>
<p>In today’s Middle EAST, core U.S .goals enjoys wide, even unprecedented support. As the Sunni Arab world joins hands with Europe, pushes back against Iran, and works to overthrow Syria’s Bashar al Assad, a strong coalition has formed around Washington’s most urgent regional, the Iranian drive toward having nuclear weapons. It is easier to pivot toward Asia than to pivot away from the Middle East. The reality is that America will have to walk and chew gum at the same time……at the same time Russia and China are supplying the gum, and waiting to contest any action against Syria, and Iran.<br />
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.<br />

PERSONAL OPINIONS……TRAYVON MARTIN….</strong>I find that the actions and comments from elected officials to be offensive and irresponsible. Recently House Minority Leader Pelosi credited Rep. Bobby Rush, stating he deserved credit for wearing a “HOODIE on the House floor “as well as the defendants appearance before a “Special house Committee, to hear the defendants”….Those elected officials are supposed to up hold the laws of the land, unlike the raciest exhibitions by Jackson, Sharp et al……the case has gone to the grand jury and the legal system is in the works………….BALES-HASAN CASES…….Both these case, while quite different will be decided by our Justice System, what I find offensive, is the Associated Press, March 26th article “ the people who lost loved one, and those that were injured, received from President Obama sums of money”….not from the citizens of the U.S…….if this is a fact I wish to commend the President for his giving $50,000 for each of the 11 killed, plus an undisclosed amount to those injured………..wonder where he got this money to make such a generous gesture ?</p>

<p>      <strong> GEITHNER and the PRIVILEGE of BEING AMERICAN……..</strong>The Founders argued that life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness were rights that preceded government, not things to be granted by it……..Last week Treasury Secretary Geithner said that the “most fortunate Americans should pay more in taxes for the privilege of being an American.” This is an age-old view that our Founding Fathers rejected. First, they argued that the basic rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (economic liberty) were natural rights endowed by our Creator, not by government. Second, the governing powers do not out-rank the citizens. Rather it is the citizens who grant their “just powers” As Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence, governments are instituted among men based on their consent in order to secure the rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The notion that a governing authority grants privileges to those it governs directly contradicts Jefferson’s declaration.</p>
<p>      But it is the same notion that recently allowed HHSD to order religious institutions to pay for things they find abhorrent. THE Obama Justice Department felt the same way about religious institutions being able to give preference to those who shared the same faith, and was unanimously overturned by the Supreme Court. This brings us to the third problem with Geithner’s argument a logical inconsistency. If being governed, or over-governed, is a privilege for American citizens, shouldn’t every one pay for the privilege? Why are more than half of American workers paying nothing at all in income taxes? If being an American is a privilege why is there a need for some to pay more, certainly all those privileged Americans should pay something.</p>

<p> <strong>THE 60th OBAMACARE VOTE……</strong>the soon to be released report shows how rogue prosecutors defeated Ted Stevens……..Romney and Sanatorium have been arguing who was responsible for ObamaCare, since the Pennsylvania candidate supported Senator Spector who was once a Republican but voted for ObamaCare before changing party’s……but after March 15thbotrh can agree that the Justice Department delivered the needed vote..</p>
<p>   March 15th is the day a federal court ordered the release of the independent report on Justice’s “systematic concealment” of evidence. Specially, the report ordered by Judge Sullivan, found that federal attorneys prosecuting the late Senator Ted Stevens of Alaska, hid “significant exculpatory evidence which would have independently collaborated Steven’s testimony, and seriously damaged the testimony and credibility of the government’s key witness. “The feds reused to make available the Brady rule, which requires prosecutors to share exculpatory evidence with the defense the feds won conviction on ethic charges two weeks before Election Day. Stevens, a highly popular Republican in Alaska, lost a very close election to Democrat Mark Begin who went on to become one of the 60 votes for ObamaCare in 2009. Within months of the election, federal abuses came to light, and Steven’s conviction was set aside.</p>

<p><strong>NERO IN THE WHITE HOUSE….By Michael Massiie…..</strong>Chairman of the National Leadership Network of Black Conservatives………Three significant historical events have been eclipsed by President Obama 1) Jimmy Carter will no longer be looked upon as the worst President in American history. 2) Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton will now be recognized as the greatest liars in presidential history. 3) Clinton’s stain on Monica’s dress, and what they did to the White House in general and the office of the president specially, will pale forever in comparison to the stain and stench of Obama…….Nixon and Clinton were liars, both to save their backsides. In the case of Obama, he lies because he is a liar, he doesn’t just lie to cover his miss-deeds, he lies to get his way, he lies to belittle others and to make himself look presentable, at their expense.</p>
<p>     The Capital and White House were built with the intent of bringing in awe and respect to America and her people. I can tell you, since I have been with them on many occasions. The American people own these buildings, which Obama and his wife continue to debase with their pan-ghetto behavior. Many in America wanted to be proud when the first person of color was elected president, but instead they have been witness to a “congenital liar, “woman who has been ashamed of America all her life, while he and his wife view their life at our expense as an “entitlement”—while America’s people go homeless, hungry and unemployed.</p>

<p>  <strong> HARRY REID OPTS for POLITICAL THEATER on JUDICIAL NOMINEES………</strong>.Majority Leader Harry Reid has rightfully earned the reputation of a do-nothing Senate. More than 1,000 days have elapsed since the Senate has approved a budget. He is presently ignoring the House passed “JOBS Act”. Reid seems comfortable with Obama’s approach, suggesting more “illegal recess “could be coming. He  warned “ we will have no alternative but to take action “Now is not the time for political theater, Reid, unfortunately, appears more willing to appease his liberal allies when he should be focusing on issues of job creation and gas prices.</p>
<p><strong>Late release……REID REVERSES COURSE ON JUDGES…..</strong>Reid decided his political stunt on judicial nominees wasn’t working, mow will agree to a deal with Republicans to schedule votes for 12 district court nominees and two circuit court nominees before May  7, vote will be “up or down” on the Senate  floor.   </p>
<p>    <strong> PRIME MINISTER CAMERON SEES BASEBALL GAME WHILE VISITING U.S.A&#8230;&#8230; $478,000 WAS THE COST……</strong>The trip on Air Force One for two 80 minute flight to Dayton, Ohio and back to Washington cost $179,000 per flight hour. When you factor in the additional expense of Marine One helicopter flights from the White House to Andrews Air Base in Maryland as well as security on the ground in Ohio, the White House advance teams, and the cargo planes to carry the presidential motorcade, the figure gets greater…….somehow it smells like a “political trip to Ohio”</p>
<p>    <strong>THE UNITED STATES IS NUMBER ONE…..</strong>on April 1, JAPAN CEDES THE HIGHEST CORPORATE TAX RATE TO USA…….APRIL 1, is a date that every politician and business executive in America should circle on the calenderer, that is the date when Japan lowers its corporate tax rate to 36.8% from 39.5%. That is higher than Sweden, Russia, China, Mexico, Denmark and even France. Japan is now the third world’s largest economy, after the United States and China. Korea has cut its top corporate rate to 22 %, Taiwan to 17%, and Thailand to 20%. Hong Kong and Singapore have led the way with longstanding rates of 16% and 17% respectfully.</p>
<p>Yet for two decades American politicians have done nothing as the rest of the world has cut corporate taxes, leaving the U.S. rate 10 to 15 percentage points above the international average. Japan’s lost decade has turned into two: and Japan is not alone. Staggering amounts of public debt and stagnant economies have become a problem from the EU to the U.S.  Despite 20 years of evidence to the contrary, the belief persists that deficit spending stimulates the economy. In Japan’s case, a low return on capital from massive, low yield government borrowing ensures a very weak growth. The borrowing must be halted by cutting spending, reducing subsidies, transfers to local government, and pensions for those who are able to work.                         </p>

<p>   <em>THE CORPORATE DISCLOSURE ASSAULT,</em> union and liberal activists are using proxy rules to attack business political speech……..Shareholders proxy  season is coming up, and along with a new batch of politicalized shareholder resolutions. The underreported story this year is the flowering of a long planned political campaign intended to stop companies from exercising their right s to “free speech “that might influence government. Corporate directors need to know what they are up against. The campaign is traveling under the assumed name of “disclosure “which sounds innocuous and is hard for CEO’s and corporate boards to oppose. The specific target is to get companies  to publicly disclose what the spend on politics&#8212; their donations to candidates or PAC’s, how much they spend on lobbying or government affairs, which industry associations they contribute to, and even in some cases the political contributions of executives. Groups like The Center for Political Accountability, whose work is funded by GEORGE SOROS’s Open Society Institute. The campaign has gained speed since the Supreme Court’s 2010 “Citizens United” ruling that restored First Amendment rights to unions and companies. Notice the goal isn’t merely disclosure, but to limit political activity by “trade associations” which means the likes of the Chamber of Commerce, or the Financial Services Roundtable, if companies can’t donate themselves, and can’t work through associations, what FREE SPECH DO THEY HAVE LEFT? </p>
<p>As recently as March 12th a self-described “large coalition “of labor and liberal groups announced a major national campaign to target corporations that contribute to Super Pac’s or non-profits, to influence the fall election. One tactic, a $25,000 reward to an employee who leaks that his company is making such political contributions. Bounty hunting for fun and political profit.<br />
<strong><br />
   GREECE is MAKING HISTORIC REFORMS……</strong>.There are significant changes in the labor market, including the liberation of 108 restricted professions……….It’s been a good month for Greece and the European Union. The Greek Government, the leaders of the EU, and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreed on a landmark economic adjustment program geared toward strengthening Greek’s institutional capacity, improving competitiveness, and creating substantial growth.. In addition, an unprecedented “hair-cut “with private sector lenders clears the way for the release of funds, this placing Greece well on the way to recovery.<br />
<strong><br />
      THE CASE FOR ARMING the SYRIAN OPPOSITION…….</strong> The U.S. secretary of state should have more to say than simply that the anti-Assad forces will “somewhere, somehow, find the means to defend themselves.”………While the slaughter continues in Syria, the United States is in danger of making the same mistake made 20 years ago when we refused to arm the Bosnians. We left them at the mercy of the Serbs for three horrendous years, with well over 100,000 deaths, until finally, after the massacre at Srebrenica and thousands deader, NATO was forced to intervene directly and sent 60,000 peacekeepers.</p>
<p>         While I have little pity for Syria as a nation, to strengthen the Syrian opposition is probably is no longer a possibility, since Russia, China and Iran solidly support al-Assad, and in the end, with Iran as it’s principle ally, Syria has been actively destabilized Lebanon, Iraq and the Palestinian territories, and facilitated the movement of suicide bombers to kill Iraq’s and Americans, and of course, the Israelis.<br />
<strong><br />
     OBAMA’S HIDDEN TAX HIKES………</strong>.It could be said that president Obama has never seen a tax hike he doesn’t like, whether it’s letting the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts expire, insisting on higher taxes for job creators, calling on Congress to raise taxes on the oil industry. But wait, there are even more tax hikes in his budget, adding up to a total of $2 trillion in higher taxes.. The OMB reports the tax hikes in areas other than the tax section, misleading readers into believing that the tax hikes are smaller than they are in reality. Among them is the “Financial Crisis Responsibility Fee”, better known as the bank tax. America doesn’t need $2 trillion in higher taxes in a time of a weak recovery. And they certainly don’t need them slipped through under their noses.. The President’s budget claims credit for tax cuts he doesn’t deserve, hides the true costs of the tax hikes he imposes, and punishes job creators instead of encouraging them to expand. <strong>CONSIDERATE IT THE PRESIDENT’S SECRET RECIPE FOR A WEAK ECONOMY.</strong></p>
<p>       <strong> THE EXPORT SUBSIDY BOOMERANG……….</strong>.Helping some U.S. companies at the expense of others……….If you thought Fannie, Freddie an Sondra would teach Congress a lesson about politicized credit, think again. The Federal Export-Import is up for reauthorization, and the only question seems to be how much more taxpayer Washington wants to put on risk. If the GOP wants to have a principled battle about fiscal waste and market distortions, this is a good one.<br />
<strong><br />
       The EXLM BANK</strong> was founded in 1934 to support trade with the Soviet Union, provides taxpayer-backed loan guarantees and other and other services to U.S. business, especially big exporters. A bi-partisan group has a bill pending in the o House to prolong the bank’s life through 2015 and raise its lending cap, to $160 billion from $100 billion. The House Financial Services waved the bill through in a voice vote last year, and is likely to get a floor vote this month.</p>
<p>     This bill needs much more public scrutiny, starting with the bank’s mission. Exlm says it takes risks that “private lenders are unable or unwilling” to take. Question, why should the taxpayers bear risks that private banks are “unwilling to take. At the same time Exlm, also paints itself as a low risk enterprise. IT CAN”T BE BOTH……Exlm defenders note it has returned money to the Treasury since 2008 and had less than 2% historical default rate. But EXLM is essentially adopting the same strategy as the FHA, expanding its business, raking in more revenues and proclaiming that it’s LOW RISK. The bank has an environmental export financing program that has backed the likes of Solyndra, First Solar and Abound Solar.<br />
<strong><br />
   It TAKE’S A SMALL COUNTRY LIKE HOLLAND TO TAKE A STAND AGAINST the SURGE OF MUSLIMS……..</strong>The government has enacted laws that will stop the Muslim Immigrants from overwhelming the Dutch population. Immigrants will be required to learn the Dutch language and the government will take a very tough stand for immigrants who ignore Dutch values or disobey Dutch law. The government will stop offering special subsidies for Muslim immigrants, as it is not the government’s job to integrate immigrants. The government will install new legislation that out laws forced marriages, and will impose measures that against those who wear their native clothes, specifically it will ban face covering, Islamic burqas as of January 1, 2013. The new law has many more restrictions; Holland has done that “liberal thing”, and has realized—maybe too late—that creating a nation of tribes will kill the nation itself. The majority of Muslim immigrants leave their countries because of civil and political unrest, “created by the very nature of their culture.” This gives a whole new meaning to the term DUTCH COURAGE, unfortunately Australian, American, UK and Canadian politicians, don’t seem to have the GUTS to do the same.</p>
<p>  <strong> THE SUPREME COURT……….</strong>Today, Monday March 26th, 2012 the nine members of the court are hearing the pro &#038; cons to the federal health care law, reporters have the opinion that the justices are eager to issue a ruling, and are unlikely to “punt. “I pray that politics will not be the deciding factor nor should the justices create legislation, the Founding Fathers had a reason for what is being judged, and the sitting justices have to consider those conditions under which the Founding Fathers lived, when they in their wisdom wrote the Constitution, realizing that all nine may read the language with a different pair of glasses. Of the 111 justices who have served on the Supreme Court, only a select few managed to see a legal horizon beyond the views of their contemporaries, often espousing views that did not reflect majoritarian values for decades. The 9  justices that follow , all exhibited an ability to rise above conventional thinking and prejudices and epitomize what constitutes the “right stuff” on the Supreme Court………the 9 justices are, John Marshal, Chief Justice,….. Charles Evan Hughes, Chief Justice,….. Earl Warren, Chief Justice,…… William Brennan, Associate justice, Oliver Wendell Holmes, Associate justice,…… John Marshall Harlan, Associate justice…..Hugo Black, Associate justice, Joseph Story, Associate justice……. Whatever the verdict may be, if it’s a 5-4 decision, the country will be divided, as it was with the abortion issue, at a time when the Constitution must be observed, and the rule of Law and Order must prevail.</p>
<p>     <strong> AFGAN FAMILY WANTS JUSTICE………</strong>.Army Staff Sgt. Robert Bales has been charged with 17 counts of murder, Bates a veteran of several tours, in all probability, snapped. But it still was murder, and the President sent his regrets, along with some compensation for those who died, and those who were wounded, amount of compensation close to $1 million dollars. Somehow this story just doesn’t ring a bell, tho by the time you read this there probably a line of lawyers with similar claims. What about the roadside bombs, that have killed  many NATO troops and civil servants…..guess that’s part  of having a war to free these  oppressed people…..opinion, this volunteers Armed Forces is undermanned, their tours are quite different than those who served in WW2, where we were on 2 year plus tours, just carrying their packs requires being in shape…………….leaving Iraq without a contingent force will be tested in a very short time, which is planned for Afghanistan, leaving the Taliban to wrestle control from Katie and his gang of crooks….coops….FORGOT Karzai has offered a concession on night raids subject to advance review by Afghan Judges !!!!! The U.S. military considers night raids as their most effective way of degrading the Taliban’s COMMAND AND CONTROL INFRASTRUCTURE, with minimal civilian casualties, there were over 2,500 such raids last year.<br />

      DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER MEMORIAL……</strong>What a shame there is a controversy over the proposed memorial, art and image. Eisenhower is an interesting case, although he was  a great military leader, and President, he was not an heroic battlefield commander…..Many , as I do, believe that his legacy would be better served by establishing  a scholarship program similar to a Rhodes scholarship. “IKE”was instrumental in the formation of modern Europe, as the commander of the Allied forces that liberated Western Europe, as the Supreme Allied Commander of NATO, and as president during the COLD WAR with Russia, a scholarship in his name for students of America and Europe, helping students understand other countries……..seems to me it would be a better legacy for Eisenhower, than a bunch of stones cluttering up the Districts monumental core. Surely better than the monstrosity that Frank Gehry designed, this is questioned by many, including the Eisenhower family, as to memorialize Frank Gehry, a great designer.</p>

If maestro Barack Obama wins election this fall, we will have watched one of the greatest magic acts in the history of the United States. Standing before Congress in his State of the Union speech, Obama brought forth, “AN ECINOMY BUILT TO LAST”…Not the real one that we now have, but the one he plans to create after he is re-elected. Here’s how it works, in his right hand are the awful policy mistakes someone else made before January 2009. In his left hand is the economy he will bring to life after November. IN BETWEEN NOTHING!. You think you’re looking at the Obama years from 2009 to 2012, 8% unemployment, low growth, low investment-when whoa, it’s gone!</p>
<p>The best was yet to come. The president of the United States is making the world itself and all its troubles …vanish.</p>
<p>Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Pakistan, North Korea – one by one. Mr. Obama and his lovely assistants can make the world’s problems seem to go away until he gets re-elected, it will constitute his presidency’s greatest illusion…..with a wave of his magic  wand, I am gone until the next time we meet, see ya’ll in the funny pages. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hey guys, how are you this morning? Our ole pal AP is back with us again today and is biting at the bit to share his thoughts with us again. AP’s a great guy, and a great American in my book! He’s 92 and still fights the good fight. He loves our Country, and doesn’t mind one bit by telling you so.</p>
<p>Take a few minutes this morning and read his thoughts. For those who’ve never heard the term, or word, “Dhimmitude ,” you may just want to check it out…about midway in his post. </p>

<p>     <strong>  AMERICA’S IRANIAN SELF-DECEPTION…..</strong>let’s admit the facts about its nuclear program and then have an honest debate about what to do……….Americans are being played for fools by Iran—and fooling themselves. There is no evidence that Iran’s decision makers are willing to stop their nuclear program in exchange for lifting sanctions. People are conflating intelligence assessment with policy recommendation The prospect of war with Iran is so distasteful that people are desperate to persuade themselves that the problem is not serious……Those who oppose military action against Iran under any circumstances must say so, and must accept the consequences of that statement. Those who advocate military action must also accept and consider the consequences regionally and possibly global conflict and all the associated perils of war. But neither America nor Israel nor any western interest is served by lying to ourselves and pretending the predicament will go away……</p>
<p>     <strong> NOTABLE &#038; QUOTABLE …..</strong>Victor David Hanson on the Obama administration’s anti-consumer policies……..As gas nears $5-a gallon out west, the President who has cancelled a key pipeline and frozen Federal leases from Alaska to the EAST Coast, teaches us about America’s algae potential, in a way he used to emphasize the importance of tire pressure and “tune ups”. He castigates the opposition for making political hay out of bad news, in way he routinely did as a senator in compiling the most partisan voting record in the Senate. Energy Secretary Chu cannot and will not say a word about soaring gas prices, since he is on record not so long ago, hoping that gas prices would double to $8 to $10 dollars per gallon as they are in Europe.. The Energy Department can do almost anything the Americas don’t want, but “not the single thing they do want.”</p>
<p>      <strong> WHODONIT AT MF GLOBAL….</strong>new evidence casts doubt on Jon Corzine ‘testimony.   </p>
<p>Almost four months after the bankruptcy of futures giant MF Global, clients still haven’t been made whole and still haven’t been told what happened to $1.6 billion of their money. Nor has anyone been with civil or criminal offenses. In his testimony to Congress, Mr. Corzine said Ms. O’Brien (an assistant treasurer) assured him that the transfer of $175 million was transferred to the JPMorgan Bank, was legitimate.  But when J.P. Morgan wanted an assurance in writing that it wasn’t an improper transfer of customer funds, Ms. O’Brien refused to sign such a letter, telling colleagues it was too broadly written. Another draft from Morgan also went unsigned. Ms. O’Brien has refused to speak to federal investigators without a promise of immunity………….What is not in dispute is that MF Global broke the rules of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, when MF failed to maintain client funds in segregated  accounts. CME had audited MF’s books early last year and did not find a bookkeeping disaster. If MF Global that a $1.6 billion in customers money could be seized by accident and still be “unexplained four months later?” Withdrawing funds with the intent of returning the money later in the day, sounds like an intentional act, not a bookkeeping error………     Mr. Corzine, a former U.S. Senator from New Jersey, cruised through the testimony to his former colleagues on Capitol Hill.</p>

<p><strong>HOW CHRYSLER CAN ACTUALY HELP DETROIT………..</strong> Did you know that there are no Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Kia, or Hyundai manufacturing plants in the Detroit area? The Motor City has a well-earned reputation of having the greatest auto workers in the nation, et honorable Michiganders largely build cars for only three companies. <strong>Apart from having their cars assembled in Michigan, those three companies have something in common: THE UNITED AUTO WORKERS (UAW)…..It also turns out that every other car manufacturer has something in common, too: not wanting the UAW do to them what it did to the Big Three. </strong>There are about as many non-union manufacturing jobs as in the late 1970’s. During that time “three quarters of unionize manufacturing jobs have disappeared. UAW president Bob King is leading an effort to amend the Michigan constitution to permanently block right-to-work laws…Chrysler in preparing for the “Clint Eastwood” ad for the Super Bowl, used on-union players to play the part of Detroit’s union workers. If you think it’s too late for Detroit, think again. Indiana recently passed right to work legislation, causing Caterpillar to shut down plants in Canada and Illinois. There may be a move by Chrysler, whose controlling interest is Italy-based, rumored to sell their share to the UAW, who were given a large share of Chrysler, by the Obama administration.</p>

<p>    <strong> BOONE-DOGGLE….</strong>the natural gas industry does not need subsidies……..Something about energy policies causes Republicans and even many conservatives to abandon every free market principle they claim to believe and embrace corporate welfare. The latest example comes from Texas billionaire Boone Pickens, who is pushing the Nat Gas Act…….Mr. Pickens wants to pour subsidies on the production and purchase of vehicles that use natural gas as a transportation fuel. This is the hottest energy fad in Washington and has had as many as 189 House co-sponsors, including 72 Republicans. The Pickens plan got a big lift from Senate President Reid, who introduced a version of the bill (watch out) with Democrat Robert Menendez from New Jersey and North Carolina Republican Richard Burr , a very rare case of bi-partisan agreement.</p>
<p>    “Natural gas is cheap, clean, abundant and it’s OURS,” Pickens said and he is right. Breakthroughs in drilling technologies, such as hydraulic drilling in shale, has increased America’s recoverable natural gas at a low cost. Natural gas is already supplanting coal plants for electricity in many places and is likely to keep doing so, unless environmentalists kill the “frocking industry.</p>
<p>     The natural gas shale revolution is a blessing for the U.S. it’s very abundance and low cost means that that it could be commercially viable substitute for oil without taxpayer handouts. At current prices a gallon of transportation fuel   from natural gas costs about one –third to one-half less a gallon of gas from oil. “The big transportation debate of the moment is whether the future belongs to natural gas vehicles battery operated cars or hybrids, or whether the new sources of oil will keep gasoline, diesel and the internal-combustion engine paramount.  WHO KNOWS?</p>
<p>     But we do know who doesn’t know. CONGRESS…Best to let millions of investors and consumers, otherwise known as the “market” decide these fates rather than blowing billions of dollars, and creating another industry that depends on political intervention to survive. One reason the U.S. has trillion-dollar deficits is because Congress too often forget why they were elected, one being to get rid of subsides and ear marks, NOT TO CREATE NEW ONES.  </p>
<p><em>“Look at a day when you are supremely satisfied at the end. It is not a day when you lounge around doing nothing, it’s a day you’ve had everything to do and you’ve done it.”………..</em> Margret Thatcher<br />
  <strong>  PRESIDENT OBAMA”S “OTHER GM BAILOUT.”</strong> The $18 billion tax gift that Obama didn’t mention………….President Obama appearing before the UAW’s tent revival meeting, said “the bailouts succeeded not because of anything the government did.”…..guess the $81.8 billion that the taxpayers surrendered to GM and Chrysler was for “services rendered”, the one other “big thing” that rarely gets mentioned, was the U.S. Treasury’s tax gift given to GM who also inherited the accumulated net operating losses that would have turned into a pumpkin in normal bankruptcy. By manipulating tax rules by FIAT “Treasury gave the firm, and it’s owners, including the UAW, $18 billion more in assets.” Thus a Democratic Administration gave a massive tax benefit to one of the party’s biggest supporters. The other problem is that it put FORD and GM’s other competitors at a disadvantage, as bailouts usually do.<br />
<strong><br />
PRESIDENT OBAMA’S 2013 BUDGET…………….</strong>The President’s budget, released February 13, repeats the stale and unsuccessful policies of the past 3 years. The Administration’s apparent vision is one of bigger government, more spending, higher taxes, and deeper deficits. At a time when runaway spending and swelling deficits must be reversed. Moreover, he neglects to deal with the biggest drivers of spending and debt, the entitlement programs. In his first post-debt ceiling buffet, Obama appears to have offered an election-year campaign document, not a credible blueprint for addressing the Nation’s fiscal and economic problems.</p>
<p>    He has chosen to take a “pass “on the most critical fiscal challenger of the day, the need to restructure Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security&#8212;-the President has once again taken a pass.  By the middle of this century, these three programs and ObamaCare will consume about 18% of the GDP, soaking up all the historical average OF FEDERAL TAX REVENUE. The notion of “protecting” them through benign neglect only ensures their collapse, and the longer that Congress and the President wait to address the problem, the more wrenching the consequences will be. The President merely reruns previous ideas, such as more cuts to medical providers, ignoring the need for fundamental reform. </p>

<p><strong>From one of our readers	DHIMMITUDE&#8212;&#8211;WHAT DOES IT MEAN ?</strong>&#8230;&#8230;..<strong>Obama used it the health care bill, page 107, Google says it’s a real word……..Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-Muslims populations conquered through “JIHAD…Specifically, it is the taxing of non-Muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to Islam..ObamaCare allows the establishment of Dhimmitude and Shaiia Muslim dictate in the United States. “Muslims are specially exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be “gambling, risk taking, and usury “and is thus banned, Muslims are specially granted exception based on this. On-Muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize Muslims, including Louis Farrakhan. THIS IS DHIMMITUDE !!!!!<br />

<p>     <strong> OBAMA CALLS FOR CONGRESS TO END ALL GAS AND OIL SUBSIDIES……</strong>With his  re-election increasingly tied to the price of that Americans are paying at the gas pump, Obama has  called on Congress to end the $4 billion subsidies for oil and gas companies, and vowed to tackle the nations long term energy issues while “shunning phony election year promises about lowering gas prices”……Ending the “industry giveaway, and would spur  the development of alternative energy sources  that could bring long-term relief from rising gas prices.”  (more B.S.)”You, Congress, you can stand up for the oil companies, or you can stand up for the American people. “As to the Republicans demanding to increase our oil supply. Obama declared, “anyone who tells you that we can drill our way out of this problem, doesn’t know what they are talking about.” Largely absent from the debate, has been the role Iran has played. U.S. and its allies have targeted the Iranian shipments of oil, which has failed, since China, Russia, Turkey and others have failed to block the exporting of Iran’s oil. Which leaves Israel as the one to make the decision, which based on their success, or lack of it, Israel stands to be “Lone Ranger”….while the world holds its breath.</p>

<p>  <strong>  ISRAEL HAS THE RIGHT TO DEFEND ITSELF FROM ATTACK……..</strong>Over the past several weeks, Israel and Iran has risen to the boiling point, bringing both nations and perhaps the world, to the brink of a serious military conflict. Making matters worse, the Islamic Republics supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei recently called Israel” a cancerous tumor that should be cut, and will be cut.” Khamenei even went so far as to pledge support for anyone willing to attack Israel” Unfortunately, my prediction is that Iran will push ahead aggressively with its nuclear program. I also predict, that once it achieves the ability to do so, Iran will attack Israel with those very same weapons that the UN and the U.S. have been trying to stop. That is why America must stand with Israel now and forever, declaring to the rest of the world that an attack on Israelis an attack on the United States, as former U.S. Presidents have done in the past. Simply put, Israel’s survival, the survival of a democracy in the Middle East, and the survival of America’s honor, ideals and reputation are at stake.</p>

<p>       <strong>  WHY ISRAEL HAS DOUBTS ABOUT OBAMA……</strong>even Democrats have publically questioned U.S. statements and policies toward America’s most important Mideast ally……….”I try to not pat myself on the back ”President Obama told a group of Jewish donors, but this administration has done more in terms of security of the state of Israel than any previous administration.”…………Mr. Obama struck a similar tone at the annual policy conference of the American Israeli Public Affairs Committee (Apia) in Washington this past Sunday, assuring the group that “I have Israel’s back.” And it’s little why, today he meets with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu amid the growing concern that a military strike will be necessary to end Iran’s nuclear weapons program. He also knows that he has lost a portion of the Jewish vote when he publicly pressured Israel to commence negotiations with the Palestinians’ based on the 1967 borders with land swaps. With the elections 9 months away, he’s scrambling to win back Jewish voters and donors. It is true that there has been increased U.S. funding for Israel’s defense programs, of which comes from Obama’s maintaining a 10 year commitment made by President  George W. Bush in 2007.</p>
<p><strong>October 2011:</strong> Speaking to reporters, Defense Secretary Panetta raised provocative questions about Israel.” Is it enough to maintain a military edge if you’re isolating yourself in the diplomatic arena ? This characterization of self –created isolation surprised Israeli officials. After all Obama had pressured Israel to make unilateral concessions in the peace process. And Obama’s administration had publically confronted Israel’s leader, making unprecedented demands  for a  COMPLETE SETTLEMENT FREEZE- which Israel met in 2010. The president’s stern lectures to Israel’s leaders were delivered repeatedly and publically at the UN, in Egypt and Turkey, all the while he did not visit Israel to express solidarity. During the month of, in an open microphone, French President  Sarkozy, said of Israel’s premier “I can’t stand Netanyahu, he is a liar” Rather than defend Israel’s back, Obama piled on, “Your tired of him; what about me ?. I have to deal with him every day.”….On February 2012, at a conference in Tunis, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was asked about Obama’s pandering to “Zionist lobbies” She agreed that this was a fair question and went on to explain that during an election season “there are comments made that certainly do not reflect our foreign policy”. Last December, New Jersey Senator Menendez lambasted administration officials at a Foreign Relations Committee hearing. He had proposed sanctions on Iran’s Central Bank and the administration was hurling a range of objections. “Published reports say we about a year, so I find that outrageous, that when the clock is ticking, you come here and say what you say.”…..Last year a number of leading Democrats, including Harry Reid and Steny Hoyer, felt compelled to question the President’s proposal about Israel returning to the pre-1987 borders. Rep Engel told CNN that, “for the president to emphasize that, was very big  mistake”…Senator Charles Schumer used even stronger language “</p>
<p><strong>STOP THE PRESSES, THE  PRIME MINISTER OF ISRAEL HAS JUST THIS MINUTE APPEARED ON THE TUBE, RESPONDING TO PRESIDENT OBAMA’S APEARENCE ON SUNDAY BEFORE THE AMERICAN ISRAELI PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMIITEE…….</strong>While I have many other subjects to address, who better than the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak and clarify Israel’s position as compared to President Obama’s desire to use diplomacy, which hasn’t worked during his present term as president……Netanyahu’s  speech was outstanding and if you missed it, you should read it in your local papers or on-line. There is a great difference, after they got past the usual B.S. which was obvious after their joint meeting, There is no question that Israel will do whatever they believe is to their existence, preferably with the support of the United States.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hello good friends, how is everybody today? Well, it had been around 80 most of last week, but once again we had a cool snap last night…it’ll only get to 72 today! LOL!</p>
<p>You guys know that we don’t do too much politically in regards to our writing, or bull crap, whatever you want to call it. We like to talk about our garden, or related projects, throw up some recipes, or just “jerk your chain” a little.</p>
<p>But Deb and I both are becoming so frustrated from the complete and total arrogance of our politicians, and their lack of concern of what they’re doing to our Country, that sometimes we have to stop and throw “our two-cents” in! I guess unfortunately for some, this just happens to be one of those days…God Bless ya’ll!</p>
<p>They’re spending us into oblivion without the least bit of concern for “We the People,” or, our families. This is fact, you only have to look.</p>
<p>Check this out, it was sent to us by a good friend of ours. It’s a great story, but one not condoned by much of our political “elite,” media, or for sure our more liberal society today…</p>

<p>Can you guys believe that? This is an example of another Country’s gratitude to the United States of America, and its Armed Forces, for the sacrifice given by our men and women to liberate them. Far too many gave the ultimate sacrifice, but these people STILL appreciate everything those men and women did in their behalf…so many years ago! </p>
<p>These people STILL consider the United States to be a great, and caring Country, sadly, far too many that LIVE here today don’t look at it this way, and it starts…at the top!</p>
<p>This is election year my friends, and it’s time WE do something about the goings on in our Country. Although in my examples this morning, I’ll be “preaching to the choir” to an awful lot of folks, I still feel it very appropriate to do so.</p>
<p>First off, last election, far too many examples of our current President’s beliefs, ideals, and his associates, were covered up, or “swept under the rug,” by our media. We WEREN’T allowed to discuss these things, right down to the use of his middle name, remember? All of which, to the left and their distortion of the word…political correctness, were examples of anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, reverse-racism and the guilt implied through it towards good, hard-working, America loving citizens, causing “guilt votes”…in my opinion.</p>
<p>They wanted us to BELIEVE, that past offences toward “people of color” were…our fault, and that we owed a debt to society for past wrongs. Wrongs by the way that we had absolutely NOTHING to do with us. So in reality, we’re supposed to pay for the sins of past generations?  Why?</p>
<p>Well, this is actually the case in point, America has come along way for our past sins on this topic, and I live in the South. We hardly ever hear racial remarks, honestly, BUT once more, I assure you, this will once again be a pounding point in the upcoming election, even though it’s a blatant lie, in almost every case. </p>
<p>Without going off any further into this topic let me say this, “I don’t care what color or ethnic group you are a part of. This to me makes NO difference. What I am concerned with is that whoever we elect, or choose to represent us, or even lead companies in our growth as a Country through supplying jobs for American citizens, that they be, the most qualified for the job…again, the MOST QUALIFIED! NOT decided by a “quota to be met” in regards of…we need so many whites, or so many Hispanic or people of color. Nor by a quota designating this many must be women, or even homosexuals, BUT again, THE MOST QUALIFIED!</p>
<p>If this happens to be a man or woman of color, a homosexual, a white man or woman, or a “man from Mars,” I don’t care, AS LONG as they ARE the most qualified! Color to me has no matter…it’s what in the person’s heart that matters, that’s all. If they have the desire and motivation to “grab the bull by the horns,” and help to lead our Country back to the greatness it deserves…I’m all for them!</p>
<p>This morning let’s look back at a few things. Things I’m not going to say I said, BUT things “THEY said.” Again, I know these issues have been discussed before, especially among conservative Americans…Americans who treasure and value the things that made our Country great to begin with.</p>
<p>Yet today, these same people, of which me and my family are a part of, are considered racist, hate-mongering, anti-American, redneck, and even…EXTREMISTS! Why…because we don’t adhere to, or abide by, the socialist indoctrination of our people, that’s why.</p>
<p>Once more these topics are “old news,” but are news that our media refused to make us aware of, or even attempted to validate such remarks&#8230;last election cycle, BUT, they all are still pertinent today. </p>
<p>Why, because in my heart, I don’t believe for one second that these people in power today are really what “We the People” want leading our Country. They’re radicals…one and all. </p>
<p>Look back, refresh your memories of who these people REALLY are. Listen closely…they tell you who they are quite frankly, if you’ll only lend an ear.</p>
<p>THIS election, all these points and issues need to be brought TO EVERYONE’s attention, again, and again, and again. Last election they weren’t! Look what it got us!</p>
<p>You must know the truth. Without the truth, how can anyone make a correct decision…about anything? This is their way…dumbing us down, and not broadcasting the truth! How critical is that? Let’s see…</p>
<p>Mark Lloyd, Obama appointee as the FCC “Diversity Chief,” or, Czar. This on free speech, and the importance of the media in Hugo Chavez’s regime…oh, by the way, he clearly states, “Chavez’s GREAT REVOLUTION.”</p>

<p>“The property owners rebelled?” No doubt. These people are radicals, born, bred and true believers of. EVERYTHING America stands for is despised by them all.</p>
<p>Mr. Lloyd again…this time in regards to race. Making whites step down to enable more “people of color,” women, or even homosexuals to hold positions of power. There’s exactly what I was talking about earlier…a man, or woman being appointed to positions of power through…their credentials, not their race or ethnicity! </p>

The “American Dream,” has been hijacked. Used by every one of them, our free speech too, to undermine the morals, standards and values that made this Country great! Everything American, they find appalling. But, I guess Mao did too!</p>

<p>Bill Ayers…President Obama’s friend, oh but he states not, yet…he was and probably still is. His wife, Bernadine Dohrn…same mold, or cut from the same cloth. Radicals, one and all!</p>
<p>Remember Rev. Wrights continuous bashing of everything American, claiming that the whites introduced AIDS to Africa, and the chickens were coming home to roost describing 9-11, and his vehement race bashing of whites and Jews alike, EVEN other balacks…if they don’t condone his way of thinking. </p>
<p>One quick case in point…the good Reverend and the like-minded proclaim vehemently AND steadfastly that if a black American doesn’t go along with their views…they’re labeled as “Uncle Tom’s,” “House-niggras,” or “Want to be whiteys!” These ARE…their words. </p>
<p>Do you remember a phrase used throughout history…”Divide and Conquer!” This is what is going on today…they’re dividing us as a people…class warfare is the intent, to this there’s no question. Listen to them for God’s sake!</p>
<p>Our President attended the good Reverend’s church for 20 years or more, but dern, he never heard this type of rhetoric coming from the good Reverends mouth?? How could this be? Oh, this is because, he says so! I gotcha.</p>
<p>This statement from the same man who refused to put his hand over his heart during the playing of our National Anthem, who also was running for, and later WON the election and is now the President of the United States of America?? Our National anthem playing, and he standing there with his hands folded across his crotch?? He loves our Country, doesn’t he? What a great example to the people, our children and our grandchildren!</p>
<p>To all of our troops throughout history, who have given the ultimate sacrifice, or lost limbs, were wounded, and, or, spent long periods of time away from their own families, so we could live with ours safely…this type of behavior is blasphemy!</p>

<p>Our President refused to begin with to wear a US flag pin?? I personally found this incomprehensible. Let’s see, his reasoning for this was…  “I don’t believe I’ll wear THAT pin on my chest…” </p>
<p>Uh, uh, uh, I still can’t believe ANYONE running for the Presidency of the United States of America not being PROUD to wear it??</p>
<p>UNTIL, a disabled Vet handed him one to wear…”I believe I’ll go ahead and put that on…because of your service…it means a lot coming from you.” </p>
<p>Prior to this moment, he refused wearing “THAT pin.” Do you believe his change of heart came from realizing the mistake he’d made prior, or simply that it HAD become an issue with Americans and HAD to be done because of political survivability…through deceit and…meaning VOTES??What do you think?</p>

<p>Look, we can go on and on with examples of their views, their opinions, their agendas, and their goals. All of which should be very, very clear to the American people at this point and time. But the reason for this post today is to remind each and every one of you what our politicians have come to represent.</p>
<p>Do I condone this type of representation of the current administration…no, I sure don’t.  But this is not for the reasons our media likes to portray such feelings as I have. To them, once again, I’m a racist, I’m an Extremist, I, to them, represent everything that is evil. These portrayals of my character are placed upon me by a society of people who consider Lucifer, one of the greatest radicals in history! Once more, this is not MY statement, but one of their “great philosophers…”</p>

<p>So you see, the truth is simply that I want our children and grandchildren to enjoy the same opportunities that I had in this great Country of ours. Again, I couldn’t care less about the color of a person’s skin…I only care about what’s in a person’s heart, and it really is, that simple.</p>
<p>This is not JUST about Democrat or Republican politicians, because sadly today there are WAY too many of both parties that have become only about…THEM. </p>
<p>Where are our political candidates today, that are screaming about the above political agendas, and what they’re doing to our Country? Doesn’t it seem that they would be screaming this at every opportunity? I’d think so, yet can’t figure out why they aren’t…can you?</p>
<p>This will not change unless “We the People” DEMAND change. They’re destroying everything we have always stood for. This has to stop. This is election year, please, go to the polls and vote. Let’s have record turnout and show these people, on both sides of the aisle, that WE are the true power in our Country, not them, as they’ve convinced themselves that they are!</p>
<p>The reasoning for this post today is to once again, refresh your memories of who we have in power today. Remember this…don’t forget! Pass this along to all your friends and family. I know that also, to many of you, I’m preaching to the choir, but remember how last election this was not reported, touched on yes, but NOT REPORTED, to “We the People.” It was…swept under the rug!</p>
