You know, in regards to expressing my personal views involving politics today, I’ve gotten to the point where it really saddens me in my attempt to understand the path we’re being led down anymore as a Country.

I try and rationalize steps I see being implemented by our government, and keep an open mind in their regard. Maybe it’s because of this, maybe the reasoning for this decision was because of that, yet once I get down to the nitty-gritty I see only one outcome…basically, total governmental control and the advocating of a socialist agenda.

To me personally I see the end of our Republic looming on the horizon. To stop this steady march towards an end I surely don’t want to see, not so much for me, but for my children and grandchildren.

I’ve lived and experienced being a part of, and living in, the greatest Country on earth…the United States of America. If we’re not very, very careful, this legacy will come to an end.

Deb and I want to write about gardening, canning our vegetables, the benefits derived from juicing and eating good, fresh vegetables. We want to laugh and cut-up with you guys. We want to enjoy our lives, as we always have, and now that we too are getting older, we’d like a sustainable lifestyle, and a certain financial future.

We’ve sacrificed and worked hard for this, but sadly today, with our economy teetering on the brink of financial collapse, we aren’t so sure, so certain of our future. This is not because of decisions we’ve made, but atrocious and outrageous decisions made by our elected officials.

Then, their backing by the mainstream media of a political agenda being reported to the people, and not the truth. This is very worrying to me!

You know, I posted yesterday about, “Political Correctness Be Damned.” I talked about our elected leaders and our media declaring that “we the people,” need to be compassionate towards the poor and oppressed. We should want to help.

My first response to such an accusation is anger. Honestly, it angers me to no end. First off, this accusation is an out and out lie. But, so is the same accusation that I didn’t vote for Barack Hussein Obama because he was black, or basically that I’m a racist. This too is an out and out lie!

But…my point today is about wasting my hard earned money on…deadbeats! Yeah, I know, that’s a pretty harsh accusation in its own right, but it is the truth in many, many instances! I’m only calling it as I see it!

On top of this, the people passing out my hard earned money are incompetents! Incompetents…with no accountability in taking care of…my money and YOUR money!

Literally, there IS NO accountability! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m sick of this!

A few examples I Googled up this morning after seeing on our local news about more governmental program fraud through giveaways! Again, this is sickening, and outrageous in the simple fact…NO ONE is accountable!

First of all, taking, and that’s exactly what it is, but stealing is the more appropriate term, from one individual to GIVE, no less, to another individual!

It is…the buying of votes! Compassion plays no role in this conversation, yet, that’s exactly what we’re accused of…having no compassion for, quote, unquote, “the less fortunate!”

You want to talk about having NO compassion? How about the total destruction of a man or woman’s desire to better themselves, to grow and prosper, and to live the American Dream through a good, honest work ethic?

Are the teachings, or indoctrination of people that you’re ENTITLED to free food, free housing, free cell phones, free everything, a show of compassion? Of course it isn’t! Yet this is what our politicians have promised them!

This is THEIR idea of compassion, or what they have panned off on their constituents, AS compassion! They started in the inner cities, and now for decades have had these poor people under their thumb with the promise of even MORE “entitlements!”

Have these people’s lives been made more enjoyable on account of the giveaways? Just stop and look at the crime in these areas. Hell, the police won’t go into many of these areas, because of the crime. Violent crime! Yet our politicians consider themselves compassionate.

They, our powers that be, have destroyed these people’s souls through such blatant misuse of their power. They have not helped these people through compassion, they’ve ruined them. They’ve convinced them that you and I the taxpayer have cheated them out of their fair share.

Now today, these people don’t have the work ethic, the motivation, the desire, or the need to look for employment. They don’t have the gumption to go out, start a new business, and become productive themselves in our society.

In turn, by doing so, they’d be helping our Country to grow, stay strong, and maintain the freedoms we’ve always enjoyed!

Is this not sad? It is to me. To destroy a man’s soul is just got to be one of the greatest sins against God, against mankind, and against your own soul. Yet, it doesn’t seem to bother our officials in the least. Power, pure greed and influence is what this is about.

It’s so sad that their constituents either don’t have the intelligence to see this is only a scam, and that their elected officials have NO compassion for them in the least, or they’re so narrow minded they just frankly, don’t care!

You guys know also that to the media and many in power today we’re considered, as conservatives and many Independents, as racist. It baffles me that this is an accusation thrown our way, yet many, many people of color in power ,know the true agenda behind these give-aways yet endorse them fully.

I’m the racist here, according to the left, yet I could not condone for one second my KNOWINGLY hurting another individual’s right to work, raise their family, or better themselves!

Yet the ones calling for us to “have compassion, and to share in our good fortune,” are causing people to live deeper and deeper into poverty day by day.

Plus, by doing so, they too, through taxation, regulation, unionization, and theft, are burdening “we the people” with a financial obligation we cannot continue to sustain at the very same time. Killing two birds with one stone is a good analogy. This IS orchestrated, this is the plan, and this is our future, mark my word!

A couple examples…well, several examples of no accountability through give-away programs.

Understand this does not include governmental agencies such as the Postal Service, Am-trak, our politicians “golden” retirement plans, pensions, or health care. All which anymore are unwarranted, undeserved, and in reality are theft as well.

This is mainly JUST give-aways…

• Two Westbury women allegedly conspired with a child care provider to steal $4,988 from the welfare system when they signed attendance sheets indicating their children were attending taxpayer-funded day care during a period when their children were out of town or out of the country for more than a month.

• A 52-year-old Plainview woman and her husband allegedly failed to report their true income resulting in $33,618 in illegally obtained Medicaid benefits.

• A 56-year-old East Meadow man allegedly failed to disclose his true income and falsely stated that he was working part-time at a pizzeria in order to illegally qualify for $15,844 in Medicaid and Food Stamps benefits. A DSS investigation revealed that the pizzeria that the man reportedly worked for does not exist and that he is employed as an “executive chef” at an upscale restaurant.

Over about 20 months, Juma and two other men at his store scammed the food stamp program out of more than $857,000.

Is this incredible? Have you ever heard, or seen before such examples of incompetence? This is OUR money my friends?

Honestly this has to stop. This is not right to take from one and give to another. It is wrong! The examples above are just mere drops in the buckets of what goes on daily across our Country.

I WILL help my neighbor, my friend, my family. Hell, I’ve stopped before and helped people I had NO clue who, or what they, were. This is, through my own upbringing, the Christian thing to do. I don’t mind.

I DO mind the government first, falsely accusing me of being non-compassionate, even racist, if I disagree with them period. This too is a form of indoctrination of the very same people, once again, they are supposedly helping out…through these programs.

They are teaching them literally that what’s mine is also theirs, even to the extent of violence against the taxpayer, who in turn is funding their entitlement anyway. It’s not Obama, Pelosi, Reid, or even Romney or any other politico…it IS the taxpayer who funds this!

Yet, we the haves (what little Deb and I do have), are evil, corrupt, and greedy, according to the have-nots. All through their indoctrination by their own leaders that yes, this is true! Talking about putting “a spin” on things??

This has become so obviously a political ploy, or agenda, for continued political power, that in all honesty it is treason, pure and simple! It is!

Is not the undermining or destruction of a Democratic society, built upon and around a Constitution, a Bill of Rights, and the guaranteed freedoms of that Country’s citizens an act of treason? Of course it is. Yet this is exactly what is going on in our Country today! Open, arrogant, blatant political misuse of power! The destruction of our Country as we know it!

Interesting comments on governmental employee benefits, plus the giveaway programs. The comparison to Greece is interesting as well.

He also claims we can’t stop the giveaways (entitlements and pensions) on account of anarchy and violence in our streets. Where did this problem start? Politicians in their quest for buying the votes, their political power, and total control over “we the people.” All at our loss, and their gain!

We cannot sustain this. Personally, I would like to see these “entitlements” reigned in. I advocate help for our elderly, our handicapped, and our veterans. This I have no problem with.

Financial help for deadbeats (see above examples of fraud with our, the taxpayer monies), ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT entitlements (what is that all about in the first place), and “golden” government pensions…tossed in the trash! This once more is theft of our money, and in the bigger picture, the theft of our Country!!

As bad as I’d hate to see it, violence in the streets at this point, may be the ONLY solution we have to get these outrageous and unsustainable programs stopped. Terrible as this is to say, and honestly, I do not condone violence, BUT, I do not condone the destruction of our Country either.

This has to stop somewhere.

Today I’m gonna talk some about the state of our Country. To be honest with you all, I’m disappointed in our media, our educational system, our elected officials, and the road we’re being led down through a political agenda.

It is not the path intended by our Founding Fathers, our Constitution, or our rights as American citizens! It instead is an agenda being forced upon the good, law-abiding, hardworking, America loving, God fearing peoples of our Republic.

To be quite frank with you this morning, it is in fact a Revolution taking place within our Country. It is a Revolution pitting the haves versus the have-nots, the pitting of socialist agendas versus the capitalist identity of our Country, and the productive versus the non-productive.

It is a Revolution demanding that the very people that love our Country, and everything it stands for versus far too many that in reality have NO RIGHT of being in our Country to begin with…the ones who come here…illegally!

Through such policy being advocated by our elected officials, which by the way costs us hundreds of billions of dollars yearly, this too takes money, hard earned money I might add, from the mouths of our own children to support people who never should have been here in the first place!

Before I go further into this, let me state loud and clear that I do support immigration BUT, with a catch…Legal immigration! Is that too much to ask? Hell no, not by a long shot! But our “elected elite” find this appalling.

Where is my compassion for these poor oppressed people they like to ask? Well, in all honesty, it left about 14 trillion dollars worth of National debt run up by these very same “elected elite!” The compassionate!

These very same “elected elite,” who question my own morals and judgment on this issue, through MY LACK of compassion!

They’ve spent us into a mountain of debt that I find totally without ANY morals or judgment, or regard for me, my family, my friends, my neighbors, or our Country as a whole. YET, I’m considered immoral? Please, give me a break here guys.

We’re locked in, at this very moment, a Revolution of class warfare, racial divide, redistribution of our wealth, and our love of…God and Country! Our “elected elite” understand this word “revolution,” quite clearly. It is…their agenda!

Their goal is quite simple. It is literally the destruction of our freedoms and liberties. They, being the powers that be, have sold us out. Yet, they speak freely of…compassion!

The only type of compassion they recognize, or understand, is compassion for…themselves! They could care less about you and yours. It is only about them. This word, compassion, is only thrown around by them in their quest of continued power. Not yours or mine, but their own.

This is entirely nothing but the “elected elite,” buying votes! Through this buying of votes, they are attempting to, and doing a very good job of it I hate to admit, are increasing their stranglehold of power over “We the People!”

Things don’t go their way, no worries, they just enact more laws…laws that benefit THEM and their cohorts, once more not you or I, NOR their own constituents. This is what really gets under my skin.
Through our incomplete teachings of our educational system, they are, and have been dumbing us down. Do we teach the prosperity of a free enterprise system? Nope!

What we do teach, through our liberally minded “educators,” is the moral standards of…social justice. In this regard, I consider our children attending the public school system today receiving a half and education. The half the believers in socialist ideology want them taught.

Capitalism is wrong! Free enterprise is wrong! The choice between working your tail off to better the futures for you and your children is wrong! This is nothing but greed to hear our “elected elite” tell it. A Southern interpretation of this is simply, “the pot calling the kettle black!” Uh-oh, did I just utter a racist taunt??

What is social justice? Well, it is in fact a term coined by our elite, and dedicated to the bringing about of the belief that we should all share together in whatever we feel we should share in. Our First Lady describes it as the oppressed wanting their fair share of the pie too!

Their fair share?

When you contribute absolutely nothing…what is, or possibly could be, your fair share? To me, the answer to this question, as asinine as it is to begin with, is quite simple, NOTHING! Your contributing nothing warrants without question, that you receive in nothing in return!

BUT, our “elected elite,” cry out, “WHAT?? You don’t care about these poor oppressed people? My goodness…where’s your compassion?”

There’s that word again, once more spoken by the very same people that are destroying our way of life, our way of having the opportunity to create jobs, to start a small business, and basically live “The American Dream!”

All being shattered by a political agenda that we, for some reason or other, feel no need to intervene in. “We the People,” are literally funding our own demise!

Now, I don’t know about you guys, but how could we be considered as the “in-compassionate?” It seems to me we have jumped overboard with our degree of compassion, and in all honesty, we’ve become too compassionate for our own good, and far too complacent to boot!

The “elected elite,” realize this and keep shoving more and more governmental regulation and CONTROL down our throats! Are we ever going to get to the point where “We the People” have had enough?

Do we continue to “cower down,” and let our “elected elite” just run roughshod over us? Do we continue to let them take from us and our children to sustain people who have no concept of going to work? Not only no concept, but no desire. Why would they, shoot, we OWE it to them, just look at the teachings of social justice!

We’re headed down an awful tough road to hoe my friends. Our belief in our Country, our belief in God, our belief in individuality, our belief in the American Dream, and our belief that we have unalienable rights are all being trampled upon by a government, a media, and an educational system in our Country gone wrong!

Take a look around, read the papers, watch the tube. Does any of this resemble what our Nation was REALLY intended to be like? Of course not.

Look at socialism around the globe…does it work? Take Europe as just a quick example. They KNOW (the ones with any semblance of brains anyway), that they must cut spending, cut pensions, cut the giveaways, and actually…get back into the REAL WORLD!

BUT, look at the riots, the protests, the looting, etc., all because they’d been indoctrinated that they are…entitled! WHAT, no money?? Well, then take it from the rich!

We are living in an upside down world. Today people have become indoctrinated that wrong is right! Is taking from a productive member of society, then giving it to a non-productive member of society right?

It is if you’re an elected official.

By doling out mere pennies to their bought and paid for constituents, in regards to what a person COULD do in this great Country of ours IF they’d only put their nose to the grindstone, set and achieve goals, and be willing to work from daylight to dark while you build your small business, they too could live the American Dream!

But nope, they have been taught to sell themselves and their own children and grandchildren for just enough government handouts…to exist! That’s all!

So, we see quite clearly that our elected elite have got this all figured out. They want you to exist, that’s all! Through your just existing, barely making ends meet off their pittance of individual handouts, you end up seeing firsthand what social justice in the end will be…social equality for you, along with everyone else, while the elected elites live the lifestyle of kings!

Why would this happen? Two reasons mainly.

The ignorance of their bought and paid for constituents, for even remotely believing the powers that be really give a hoot in hell for them in the first place, and once again, their ignorance in fiscal responsibility for even considering the taxpayer could continue bearing the brunt of such “entitlement programs” and sustain them indefinitely! The well WILL run dry!

Actually the well IS dry, but once more, our elected leaders throw us under the bus by printing more money, spending money by the truckload, and borrow, borrow, borrow! Who can even imagine what our daily interest must be??

But the second reason for such social justice or social equality, becoming rule of law in our Country is “We the People!”

We see what our leaders are doing to us. We see the direction they’re taking our Country. We see the freedoms and liberties we enjoy as Americans growing less and less. We see firsthand the MASSIVE debt they’ve burdened our children and grandchildren with.

We see the destruction of our workplace, our opportunity for good jobs, and our children getting the type of good solid education they deserve, not ideologies pressed upon them through political agendas!

We see the good, law-abiding citizen, the believers in our Constitution, and the very people who love God, family, and Country now labeled, and quite openly as well, as racist, hatemongering, extremist, ignorant, Nazi, redneck troublemakers.

Yet…we sit on our rumps. Take a page from the left playbook…organize, mobilize, and demand YOUR OWN rights. Stop with the political correctness, and just start living correctly. Maybe the time has come to stop with all the compassion, and start showing some contempt while taking our Country back!

Wrong is NOT right, but as long as we let them continue to do wrong, but tell us it’s right, nothing will ever change…it’ll only continue to get worse. Make these people accountable for their actions. They’re the power, BUT true power comes from…”WE the PEOPLE!” Start acting like it!

You know, our Country in my lifetime, has been known as the greatest Country on this earth. I’ve always been proud to be a citizen of the United States of America…still am. But, in reality, do I still consider America to be the greatest Country on earth?

I have to say yes, but my feelings waver on this actually quite often anymore. I see far too many things going on in our Country today that if not stopped, will cause the destruction of our Country as I’ve always known it.

What does this mean?

First off it means our children, our grandchildren, and all their children will never experience the America that I knew and loved. This includes the ability to go to work, EARN a living, save, sacrifice, or even start their own business to sell off down the road, or pass down to their children.

Since the inception of our Country, immigrants have flocked here to live the American Dream. The reasoning for this is very simple. Life here was much better than the lives they led in their own countries, and yes, it really is that simple.

America afforded one and all the opportunity to better your lives, build a future, raise your children, and always offered a good, solid education to boot. All good things. You got out of life here in our Country…what you put into it! You worked your rear-end off…you were rewarded. You didn’t, you just scraped by, and…rightfully so.

They came in droves to experience such a lifestyle that once more was not attainable in their own countries, or at least not to the extent that was afforded here. They not only came for all the reasons listed above, but…TO BE FREE!

Free to live their lives. A freedom they, in many cases, weren’t allowed to enjoy in their own countries…and were repressed many times at the barrel of a gun.

Then, the real kicker here is that they came to…BECOME AMERICANS!

They WANTED to learn to speak the language, to obey our laws, to have the opportunity to vote, and to salute and respect our flag. They were thankful for the opportunity to support and live by the rules set forth by our Constitution, and even to lay down their own lives defending these freedoms and our Country as a whole!

Today, in many, many cases this is not true. Many in our Country today…don’t even LIKE our Country, much less love our Country! This statement, as terrible as it is, is the case! It’s not something I “pulled out of the air,” but is fact!

Upon arrival in our Country, many knelt down and kissed the land, so very thankful for just being here! Why…because we were the greatest Country on earth! We were…FREE!

So, with all these tremendous opportunities and attributes that come with being an American, why today, do I state my conviction that we live in the greatest Country on earth is wavering?

Well my friends, the reasons are many, and most of you are quite aware of them yourselves. We live today, here in the United States, with a government that has lost its way, and in many instances is totally out of control.

One example of this is spending! I’ve never in my life witnessed such total and complete waste of monies. NEVER! Not only is this act atrocious, in my belief, it is literally…treasonous! It is!

Isn’t it a simple fact that if you commit acts that are detrimental to your Country, its citizens, and the health and stability of your Country, then these acts are simply…treasonous?

Well, try and get me to understand the passing of many laws that are made by today’s officials, that by the way, many ARE unconstitutional, and through this…are not acts of treason?

Since when do we pass bills, health care is but one, that our House of Representatives and our Senate…DON’T EVEN READ?? Do you remember Pelosi making the statement… “Well, if we want to know what’s in it…we first have to pass it?” Good night people, for God’s sake, WAKE UP!

I spent quite a while this morning watching our “Debt Clock” run. It literally is infuriating. THAT IS, OUR money people, NOT theirs, right?

How’s your standard of living today, versus 5 years ago, or possibly even…5 weeks ago? Watch the debt clock run and you may consider your standard of living…from a mere 5 minutes ago! Really!

Our debt is pushing 16 trillion dollars! 16 trillion! The debt per citizen is $50,008 per person…and climbing. Here’s the kicker though, the debt PER TAXPAYER is…$138,213! YET, our administration’s answer is…MORE TAXES! THIS IS insanity.

The US total interest in 2012, as of this moment, is $3,794,131,197.00. This makes the interest payments per citizen a mere…$12,108.00! That’s INTEREST alone, my friends!

THE TOTAL US debt is almost 60 trillion dollars! This makes the total US debt per citizen $182, 947.00, and family debt $691,620.00.

Other examples…

State Revenue is $1,467,343,451,213.00. State Debt is 1,102,840,799.00, BUT, those numbers were obsolete before I ever got them to paper.

Local Revenue is $1,102,797,773,681.00. Local Debt is $1,742,679,345,448.00. Again, obsolete before I penned them.

Assets per citizen are $266,014.00. LIABILITIES PER CITIZEN are $1,045,037.00. That last number, Liabilities PER citizen again is…one million, forty-five thousand, thirty-seven dollars! PER CITIZEN! This is insane!

There are 313,385,834 people in the US. Of which, 113,430,384 are INCOME taxpayers.

The official unemployment numbers are 12,842,892. THE ACTUAL unemployment numbers are 22,735,634.

There ARE 15,398,055 state/local employees.

There ARE 4,337,886 federal employees. Both these are growing. Funded and paid for…BY THE TAXPAYER!

THERE ARE 46,809,042 FOOD STAMP RECIPIENTS!

Our demise as a Country is being funded, and paid for in full…by we, the taxpayer. Again, and please understand your dilemma as a US taxpayer…YOU ARE FUNDING YOUR OWN DEMISE!! Plain and simple truths. The destruction of your Country is being paid for …by you!

Cloward and Piven’s stated that in order to “CHANGE America,” it could be done by simply over burdening the Country’s resources by not getting people off of welfare rolls, BUT BY GETTING MORE AND MORE PEOPLE ONTO WELFARE ROLLS!

So, through the destruction , or orchestration of an economic collapse, recession, depression, or whatever they want to call it, America as we know it will cease to exist.

What are the promises of our leaders today…we WILL help the poor! Well, since the mid-sixties, and the establishment of “programs to help the poor,” there are more “poor” in America today than ever before…and these numbers grow daily! IT AIN’T workin folks! Of course, Am-Trak, the Postal Service, and any other government sponsored program are either!

This entire scenario is being orchestrated by our elected officials, the unions, the mainstream media, our educational system, and who knows who else? IT IS the buying of votes, for mere pennies on the dollar, and through the dumbing down of our citizen’s, our government is now running roughshod, and trampling our Constitution in the process!

We the people are now ignored. Our voices are not heard, and our politicians have become so arrogant and powerful, through the sheer numbers of constituents who now believe, and have been indoctrinated by our politicians…that what’s ours, is now theirs!

We’ve allowed our leaders, for their own personal wealth and power to shred our Constitution, and by doing so, take more and more control over our lives, and the ability to work and feed our families. It is…a sad day in our Country!

We have the ability to manufacture, or produce ANYTHING we need right here in the good ole USA. Yet through government regulation, unionization, taxation, and the “poor entitled folks” RELAXATION, our Country is being destroyed.

I look at union employees, and wonder what those guys are thinking. I mean, how many union jobs have been lost, forever mind you, simply because of excessive salaries, health care and retirement packages, and retirement pensions?

All forced upon the companies they were employed by! These same companies abilities to create jobs for the union employees now gone to other countries? This, simply because their abilities to make a profit while still being able to compete with foreign companies was no longer part of the equation.

Jobs that are now gone forever…to other countries! Greed from the unions, greed from the government through excessive taxation, as well as regulations placed upon them by the government no longer allowed these companies to conduct business here in the US.

So why have we lost SO many jobs? Thank Uncle Sam and his cronies. No work, this causing more unemployed, all being forced into some type of government program just to exist, and before long…TOTAL CONTROL! GOOD BYE USA!

So in closing today, we are losing our Country, our freedoms, our morals, and our rights as citizens through political correctness, or “the watering down of our system.”

Our Country was born upon our belief in God, our right to free speech, and the liberties provided to us by our Constitution.

Yet, our free speech is being limited, if not a liberal or even if not a person of color. This is true. Today, we the “non-racists” are labeled…as racist!

If you believe in our Founding Fathers vision of our Country, we the “non-terrorists or radicals” are labeled as…terrorists and radicals.

If you believe our government and our elected officials have run amok, we’re labeled as…right wing extremists.

We as a Country have become like a glass of wine. A glass of pure, undiluted wine is a very good thing, and one of life’s pleasures, right? Yet, you keep bringing other properties, water as an example, and adding this to the product, then the wine becomes less and less what it once was.

This is where we’re at today in our Country. We are becoming so broken down, or diluted, through political correctness, that our abilities to enjoy our lives as Americans, becomes less and less what they once were.

THE ARROGANCE OF POWER …….Senator Robert C. Byrd

SUPREME COURT DECISION on OBAMACARE………..If Senator Byrd were alive today, I can see him reaching inside his jacket, taking out his copy of the Constitution, and addressing the members of Congress, and reading what our Founding Fathers had written , and of course adding his opinion. I have to believe that the Founding Fathers never could have realized how political the Supreme Court has become. The most arguementive cases that I can remember, was the ROE v. WADE which was decided with a 7-2 vote, the BROWN v. Board of Education which the vote was delayed, until Chief Justice Warren convinced the two negative vote to comply with the majority and a convincing 9-0 vote became unanimous………..In respect to the now pending case before the Supreme Court. No matter what you see on TV, or read in your local newspaper. The consensus of the so called “experts” the general consensus is there are 4 liberal votes, 4 conservative votes with Justice Kennedy being the swing vote. Watching this debate unfold, it becomes clear to me, that the final decision depends not on previous cases or precedent but on the political grounding of the justices. In that sense, the conservative wing may have the votes. What is disturbing me is the fact that whoever is the fifth justice, has enormous power. In that case, it should trouble the rue conservative, who might like the result in this case, but should also be aware, that this case may have been decided the day Kennedy was appointed, by President Ronald Reagan. That suggests former Justice Harlan Fiske Stone was correct when he said, “the law is what 5 Justices say it is.” THAT IS NOT A COMFORTING THOUGHT ABOUT OUR SYSTEM.

THE ANTI—JOB LOBBY………….For months we’ve heard that the only obstacle to Congressional progress is the GOP refusal to work with Democrats But then what to make of the sudden opposition from regulators, liberals and some Senate Democrats to the bi-partisan JOBS ACT that passed the House 390-23 , just a few weeks ago ?……….Hint!! Maybe the real obstacle is Washington’s refusal to cede any control over even a small corner of the private economy…. After months of haggling, the Senate passed the bill, 73-26 and is due to be signed by the President on April 5, 2012.

Actually there were e-mails that stated he did sign by executive order the pending “Dream Act “but for a unknown reason (at least to me) it never became effective. But what it did do, it stopped the automatic deportation of illegal aliens. With this order, the President has now created more regulations in two and a half years than any other President has done in the same time frame. You can be sure that Obama has this Dream Act high on his agenda, as it effects about 1.1 million illegal immigrants……For what it’s worth, if he is elected, Romney has pledged to remove, if it passes.

SUPREMES 9, EPA ZERO………..The Justices rebuke the bureaucracy’s water torture…………These are hard times for economic liberty, UT the Supreme Court has offered a modest reason to hope……especially when the decide on ObamaCare. In this case the Court ruled that the EPA can’t terrorize Americans via regulation without giving them a day in court. In 2005, the Sackert family bought a mall parcel of land in an Idaho residential area, planning to build their home. Once construction started, the EPA decided, without notice, that the plot was a “wetland” because it was near a lake. There is no water on this property. He Agency’s pen pushers served the Sackets with a “compliance order” that they were violating the Clean Water Act and would be fined $37,500 per day for violating the Clean Water ACT, and would continue this fine until the Sachets restored their property to its original state. As Deputy Solicitor Stewart revealed during oral arguments, the Sackets were actually liable for twice that amount…..$37,500 for violating the Clean Water Act, and another$37,500 for violating the compliance order.

As Justice Alito asked during oral arguments “If you related the facts of this case as they came to us to an ordinary homeowner, don’t you think most ordinary homeowners would say this kind of thing can’t happen in the United States.”. In a concurring opinion in Sackett v. EPA, Justice Alito accurately noted that “despite the ruling the combination of the uncertain reach of the Clean Water Act and the draconian penalties imposed for the sort of violations alleged in this case still leaves property owners with little practical alternative but to dance to the EPA’s tune” ……..Congress should amend the Clean Water Act and make the laws clearer.

WHAT FEWER MARRIED AMERICANS MEAN for the NATION…………..NEARLY 49% of women in the U.S. have never been married. This is an all-time high. Beyond lower marriage rates an increasing amount of children are being born outside of marriage. These trends have consequences. While lower education levels are associated with higher rates of poverty, having a child outside of marriage dramatically increases the likelihood that the woman and her child will be poor and dependent on welfare across education levels. The poverty rate among single mothers with less than a high school diploma is over 45% compared to the mother having a high school education is 15%. If marriage becomes unachievable for all but the highly educated, then the American Dream will be endangered……which now brings us to the subject. “THE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN ACT,,,THE RE-AUTHORIZATION FUNDEMENTALLY FLAWED”…….”Despite the fact that each state has statues that punish domestic violence, the federal government intervened in 1994 with the Violence Against Women Act. The Senate is now expected to consider the newest re-authorization of the act, which includes radical changes that greatly alter the original purpose of the law, already problematic in its own right. Using federal agencies to fund the routine operations of domestic violence programs that State and local governments could provide is a misuse of federal resources and a distraction from concerns that are truly are the province of the federal government. Simply expanding” ‘THE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN ACT” framework with extensive new provisions and programs that have been inadequately assessed is sure to facilitate waste, fraud, and abuse and will not better protect women or victims of violence generally” The population as of 2010, indicates that there are 157.2 million women in the united States, and 153.2 million men, with women living to the age of 80.

In case you haven’t noticed this is a MAJOR ELECTION YEAR, and there is no question that the women’s vote will be a major factor in the results. Maybe there is an outstanding woman of color, who would be the new President’s running mate.

EQUALITY EQUALS EQUAL OUTCOMES is a BIG HOAX…….Part of Tom Sowell’s column…………The biggest hoax of the past two generations is still going strong, the latest example of this hoax is the joint crusade of the Department of Education and the Department of Justice against schools that discipline black males more than other students. According to Secretary Duncan this disparity in punishment violates the ‘promise of equity”…Just who made this “promise” remains unclear, and why equity should mean equal outcomes despite differences in behavior is even more unclear. This crusade by Holder and Duncan is only the latest in a long line of fraudulent arguments based on statistics.

Now Duncan and Holder want to play the race card in an ELECTION YEAR, at the expense of the education of black students. Make no mistake about it, the black students who go to school to get an education are the main victims of the in the classroom disruptions whom Holder and Duncan are trying to protect. Promoting paranoia translates into votes. It is a very cynical political game, despite the lofty rhetoric used to disguise it.

NOT SO- SMOOTH OPERATOR…….OBAMA increasingly comes across as devious and dishonest…………. Something’s happening to President Obama’s relationship with those who are not inclined to like his policies. They are now inclined not to like him. I’m referring to the broad, stable, on radical, non-birthed right. It is not due to the election and it’s not because the Republican candidates are so compelling and making such brilliant cases against him. That is not happening.

What is happening is the president is coming across more and more as a trimmer, as an operator who’s not operating in good faith. This is hardening positions and leading to increased political bitterness. And it’s his fault, too. As an increase in polarization is a bad thing, it’s a big fault. It started with the Catholic Church issue, followed by the “open mike’ with Russian President, the issue discussed dealt with protecting America with our missile defense then came the 17 year old boy who was killed under dispute and unclear circumstances. The President immediately said “If I had a son he’d look like Travon” (the 17 year old). At first that seemed o.k., but suddenly there were death threats, and the public reaction seemed to be “Hey buddy, we don’t need you to personalize what is too dramatic all ready, it’s not about you”. Then his statements about the Supreme Court in respect to their making a decision on ObamaCare. All in all, this has not been a good week for Obama; all these things have hardened lines of opposition, and left opponents with an aversion that will not go away.

THE EMPLOYEE RIGHTS ACT EMPOWERS WORKERS…….ABSTRACT: Labor unions should serve the interest of the employees, not the other way around, as often happens. Legislation introduced in Congress would go a long way toward making this a reality. The Employee Rights Act guarantees workers a private, informed uncoerced vote on unionizing. The bill also enables employees to re-elect, or unselect, their bargaining representative every three years. The Employee Rights Act further protects workers from union pressure and extortion… It requires unions to obtain workers permission before spending their dues on matters unrelated to collective bargaining. It also gives employees the right to vote on accepting a contract or before going on strike. These reforms would shift the balance of power in the workplace from unions to workers.

AMERICA is STUCK WITH THE MIDEAST………Global oil markets and global commerce means that American will not be able to set this region off to the side……….THE Middle East is on fire. As waves of populist, ethnic and religious unrest sweep the region, long standing regimes totter like ten-pins, violent conflicts explode in once quiet countries, and all the rules seem up for grabs. The Israel-Palestinian peace process is on life support and Iran is marching steadily toward gaining a nuclear weapon. And even as President Obama assures us that he has Israel’s back, and will not countenance Iran getting a nuclear weapon, his administration speaks “about leading from behind” and of a “pivot toward Asia.”………….Many observers see all this as reflecting a sharp decline in American power.

In today’s Middle EAST, core U.S .goals enjoys wide, even unprecedented support. As the Sunni Arab world joins hands with Europe, pushes back against Iran, and works to overthrow Syria’s Bashar al Assad, a strong coalition has formed around Washington’s most urgent regional, the Iranian drive toward having nuclear weapons. It is easier to pivot toward Asia than to pivot away from the Middle East. The reality is that America will have to walk and chew gum at the same time……at the same time Russia and China are supplying the gum, and waiting to contest any action against Syria, and Iran.

PERSONAL OPINIONS……TRAYVON MARTIN….I find that the actions and comments from elected officials to be offensive and irresponsible. Recently House Minority Leader Pelosi credited Rep. Bobby Rush, stating he deserved credit for wearing a “HOODIE on the House floor “as well as the defendants appearance before a “Special house Committee, to hear the defendants”….Those elected officials are supposed to up hold the laws of the land, unlike the raciest exhibitions by Jackson, Sharp et al……the case has gone to the grand jury and the legal system is in the works………….BALES-HASAN CASES…….Both these case, while quite different will be decided by our Justice System, what I find offensive, is the Associated Press, March 26th article “ the people who lost loved one, and those that were injured, received from President Obama sums of money”….not from the citizens of the U.S…….if this is a fact I wish to commend the President for his giving $50,000 for each of the 11 killed, plus an undisclosed amount to those injured………..wonder where he got this money to make such a generous gesture ?

GEITHNER and the PRIVILEGE of BEING AMERICAN……..The Founders argued that life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness were rights that preceded government, not things to be granted by it……..Last week Treasury Secretary Geithner said that the “most fortunate Americans should pay more in taxes for the privilege of being an American.” This is an age-old view that our Founding Fathers rejected. First, they argued that the basic rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness (economic liberty) were natural rights endowed by our Creator, not by government. Second, the governing powers do not out-rank the citizens. Rather it is the citizens who grant their “just powers” As Jefferson wrote in the Declaration of Independence, governments are instituted among men based on their consent in order to secure the rights of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The notion that a governing authority grants privileges to those it governs directly contradicts Jefferson’s declaration.

But it is the same notion that recently allowed HHSD to order religious institutions to pay for things they find abhorrent. THE Obama Justice Department felt the same way about religious institutions being able to give preference to those who shared the same faith, and was unanimously overturned by the Supreme Court. This brings us to the third problem with Geithner’s argument a logical inconsistency. If being governed, or over-governed, is a privilege for American citizens, shouldn’t every one pay for the privilege? Why are more than half of American workers paying nothing at all in income taxes? If being an American is a privilege why is there a need for some to pay more, certainly all those privileged Americans should pay something.

March 15th is the day a federal court ordered the release of the independent report on Justice’s “systematic concealment” of evidence. Specially, the report ordered by Judge Sullivan, found that federal attorneys prosecuting the late Senator Ted Stevens of Alaska, hid “significant exculpatory evidence which would have independently collaborated Steven’s testimony, and seriously damaged the testimony and credibility of the government’s key witness. “The feds reused to make available the Brady rule, which requires prosecutors to share exculpatory evidence with the defense the feds won conviction on ethic charges two weeks before Election Day. Stevens, a highly popular Republican in Alaska, lost a very close election to Democrat Mark Begin who went on to become one of the 60 votes for ObamaCare in 2009. Within months of the election, federal abuses came to light, and Steven’s conviction was set aside.

The Capital and White House were built with the intent of bringing in awe and respect to America and her people. I can tell you, since I have been with them on many occasions. The American people own these buildings, which Obama and his wife continue to debase with their pan-ghetto behavior. Many in America wanted to be proud when the first person of color was elected president, but instead they have been witness to a “congenital liar, “woman who has been ashamed of America all her life, while he and his wife view their life at our expense as an “entitlement”—while America’s people go homeless, hungry and unemployed.

HARRY REID OPTS for POLITICAL THEATER on JUDICIAL NOMINEES……….Majority Leader Harry Reid has rightfully earned the reputation of a do-nothing Senate. More than 1,000 days have elapsed since the Senate has approved a budget. He is presently ignoring the House passed “JOBS Act”. Reid seems comfortable with Obama’s approach, suggesting more “illegal recess “could be coming. He warned “ we will have no alternative but to take action “Now is not the time for political theater, Reid, unfortunately, appears more willing to appease his liberal allies when he should be focusing on issues of job creation and gas prices.

Late release……REID REVERSES COURSE ON JUDGES…..Reid decided his political stunt on judicial nominees wasn’t working, mow will agree to a deal with Republicans to schedule votes for 12 district court nominees and two circuit court nominees before May 7, vote will be “up or down” on the Senate floor.

PRIME MINISTER CAMERON SEES BASEBALL GAME WHILE VISITING U.S.A…… $478,000 WAS THE COST……The trip on Air Force One for two 80 minute flight to Dayton, Ohio and back to Washington cost $179,000 per flight hour. When you factor in the additional expense of Marine One helicopter flights from the White House to Andrews Air Base in Maryland as well as security on the ground in Ohio, the White House advance teams, and the cargo planes to carry the presidential motorcade, the figure gets greater…….somehow it smells like a “political trip to Ohio”

THE UNITED STATES IS NUMBER ONE…..on April 1, JAPAN CEDES THE HIGHEST CORPORATE TAX RATE TO USA…….APRIL 1, is a date that every politician and business executive in America should circle on the calenderer, that is the date when Japan lowers its corporate tax rate to 36.8% from 39.5%. That is higher than Sweden, Russia, China, Mexico, Denmark and even France. Japan is now the third world’s largest economy, after the United States and China. Korea has cut its top corporate rate to 22 %, Taiwan to 17%, and Thailand to 20%. Hong Kong and Singapore have led the way with longstanding rates of 16% and 17% respectfully.

Yet for two decades American politicians have done nothing as the rest of the world has cut corporate taxes, leaving the U.S. rate 10 to 15 percentage points above the international average. Japan’s lost decade has turned into two: and Japan is not alone. Staggering amounts of public debt and stagnant economies have become a problem from the EU to the U.S. Despite 20 years of evidence to the contrary, the belief persists that deficit spending stimulates the economy. In Japan’s case, a low return on capital from massive, low yield government borrowing ensures a very weak growth. The borrowing must be halted by cutting spending, reducing subsidies, transfers to local government, and pensions for those who are able to work.

THE CORPORATE DISCLOSURE ASSAULT, union and liberal activists are using proxy rules to attack business political speech……..Shareholders proxy season is coming up, and along with a new batch of politicalized shareholder resolutions. The underreported story this year is the flowering of a long planned political campaign intended to stop companies from exercising their right s to “free speech “that might influence government. Corporate directors need to know what they are up against. The campaign is traveling under the assumed name of “disclosure “which sounds innocuous and is hard for CEO’s and corporate boards to oppose. The specific target is to get companies to publicly disclose what the spend on politics— their donations to candidates or PAC’s, how much they spend on lobbying or government affairs, which industry associations they contribute to, and even in some cases the political contributions of executives. Groups like The Center for Political Accountability, whose work is funded by GEORGE SOROS’s Open Society Institute. The campaign has gained speed since the Supreme Court’s 2010 “Citizens United” ruling that restored First Amendment rights to unions and companies. Notice the goal isn’t merely disclosure, but to limit political activity by “trade associations” which means the likes of the Chamber of Commerce, or the Financial Services Roundtable, if companies can’t donate themselves, and can’t work through associations, what FREE SPECH DO THEY HAVE LEFT?

As recently as March 12th a self-described “large coalition “of labor and liberal groups announced a major national campaign to target corporations that contribute to Super Pac’s or non-profits, to influence the fall election. One tactic, a $25,000 reward to an employee who leaks that his company is making such political contributions. Bounty hunting for fun and political profit.

GREECE is MAKING HISTORIC REFORMS…….There are significant changes in the labor market, including the liberation of 108 restricted professions……….It’s been a good month for Greece and the European Union. The Greek Government, the leaders of the EU, and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) agreed on a landmark economic adjustment program geared toward strengthening Greek’s institutional capacity, improving competitiveness, and creating substantial growth.. In addition, an unprecedented “hair-cut “with private sector lenders clears the way for the release of funds, this placing Greece well on the way to recovery.

THE CASE FOR ARMING the SYRIAN OPPOSITION……. The U.S. secretary of state should have more to say than simply that the anti-Assad forces will “somewhere, somehow, find the means to defend themselves.”………While the slaughter continues in Syria, the United States is in danger of making the same mistake made 20 years ago when we refused to arm the Bosnians. We left them at the mercy of the Serbs for three horrendous years, with well over 100,000 deaths, until finally, after the massacre at Srebrenica and thousands deader, NATO was forced to intervene directly and sent 60,000 peacekeepers.

While I have little pity for Syria as a nation, to strengthen the Syrian opposition is probably is no longer a possibility, since Russia, China and Iran solidly support al-Assad, and in the end, with Iran as it’s principle ally, Syria has been actively destabilized Lebanon, Iraq and the Palestinian territories, and facilitated the movement of suicide bombers to kill Iraq’s and Americans, and of course, the Israelis.

OBAMA’S HIDDEN TAX HIKES……….It could be said that president Obama has never seen a tax hike he doesn’t like, whether it’s letting the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts expire, insisting on higher taxes for job creators, calling on Congress to raise taxes on the oil industry. But wait, there are even more tax hikes in his budget, adding up to a total of $2 trillion in higher taxes.. The OMB reports the tax hikes in areas other than the tax section, misleading readers into believing that the tax hikes are smaller than they are in reality. Among them is the “Financial Crisis Responsibility Fee”, better known as the bank tax. America doesn’t need $2 trillion in higher taxes in a time of a weak recovery. And they certainly don’t need them slipped through under their noses.. The President’s budget claims credit for tax cuts he doesn’t deserve, hides the true costs of the tax hikes he imposes, and punishes job creators instead of encouraging them to expand. CONSIDERATE IT THE PRESIDENT’S SECRET RECIPE FOR A WEAK ECONOMY.

THE EXPORT SUBSIDY BOOMERANG………..Helping some U.S. companies at the expense of others……….If you thought Fannie, Freddie an Sondra would teach Congress a lesson about politicized credit, think again. The Federal Export-Import is up for reauthorization, and the only question seems to be how much more taxpayer Washington wants to put on risk. If the GOP wants to have a principled battle about fiscal waste and market distortions, this is a good one.

The EXLM BANK was founded in 1934 to support trade with the Soviet Union, provides taxpayer-backed loan guarantees and other and other services to U.S. business, especially big exporters. A bi-partisan group has a bill pending in the o House to prolong the bank’s life through 2015 and raise its lending cap, to $160 billion from $100 billion. The House Financial Services waved the bill through in a voice vote last year, and is likely to get a floor vote this month.

This bill needs much more public scrutiny, starting with the bank’s mission. Exlm says it takes risks that “private lenders are unable or unwilling” to take. Question, why should the taxpayers bear risks that private banks are “unwilling to take. At the same time Exlm, also paints itself as a low risk enterprise. IT CAN”T BE BOTH……Exlm defenders note it has returned money to the Treasury since 2008 and had less than 2% historical default rate. But EXLM is essentially adopting the same strategy as the FHA, expanding its business, raking in more revenues and proclaiming that it’s LOW RISK. The bank has an environmental export financing program that has backed the likes of Solyndra, First Solar and Abound Solar.

It TAKE’S A SMALL COUNTRY LIKE HOLLAND TO TAKE A STAND AGAINST the SURGE OF MUSLIMS……..The government has enacted laws that will stop the Muslim Immigrants from overwhelming the Dutch population. Immigrants will be required to learn the Dutch language and the government will take a very tough stand for immigrants who ignore Dutch values or disobey Dutch law. The government will stop offering special subsidies for Muslim immigrants, as it is not the government’s job to integrate immigrants. The government will install new legislation that out laws forced marriages, and will impose measures that against those who wear their native clothes, specifically it will ban face covering, Islamic burqas as of January 1, 2013. The new law has many more restrictions; Holland has done that “liberal thing”, and has realized—maybe too late—that creating a nation of tribes will kill the nation itself. The majority of Muslim immigrants leave their countries because of civil and political unrest, “created by the very nature of their culture.” This gives a whole new meaning to the term DUTCH COURAGE, unfortunately Australian, American, UK and Canadian politicians, don’t seem to have the GUTS to do the same.

THE SUPREME COURT……….Today, Monday March 26th, 2012 the nine members of the court are hearing the pro & cons to the federal health care law, reporters have the opinion that the justices are eager to issue a ruling, and are unlikely to “punt. “I pray that politics will not be the deciding factor nor should the justices create legislation, the Founding Fathers had a reason for what is being judged, and the sitting justices have to consider those conditions under which the Founding Fathers lived, when they in their wisdom wrote the Constitution, realizing that all nine may read the language with a different pair of glasses. Of the 111 justices who have served on the Supreme Court, only a select few managed to see a legal horizon beyond the views of their contemporaries, often espousing views that did not reflect majoritarian values for decades. The 9 justices that follow , all exhibited an ability to rise above conventional thinking and prejudices and epitomize what constitutes the “right stuff” on the Supreme Court………the 9 justices are, John Marshal, Chief Justice,….. Charles Evan Hughes, Chief Justice,….. Earl Warren, Chief Justice,…… William Brennan, Associate justice, Oliver Wendell Holmes, Associate justice,…… John Marshall Harlan, Associate justice…..Hugo Black, Associate justice, Joseph Story, Associate justice……. Whatever the verdict may be, if it’s a 5-4 decision, the country will be divided, as it was with the abortion issue, at a time when the Constitution must be observed, and the rule of Law and Order must prevail.

AFGAN FAMILY WANTS JUSTICE……….Army Staff Sgt. Robert Bales has been charged with 17 counts of murder, Bates a veteran of several tours, in all probability, snapped. But it still was murder, and the President sent his regrets, along with some compensation for those who died, and those who were wounded, amount of compensation close to $1 million dollars. Somehow this story just doesn’t ring a bell, tho by the time you read this there probably a line of lawyers with similar claims. What about the roadside bombs, that have killed many NATO troops and civil servants…..guess that’s part of having a war to free these oppressed people…..opinion, this volunteers Armed Forces is undermanned, their tours are quite different than those who served in WW2, where we were on 2 year plus tours, just carrying their packs requires being in shape…………….leaving Iraq without a contingent force will be tested in a very short time, which is planned for Afghanistan, leaving the Taliban to wrestle control from Katie and his gang of crooks….coops….FORGOT Karzai has offered a concession on night raids subject to advance review by Afghan Judges !!!!! The U.S. military considers night raids as their most effective way of degrading the Taliban’s COMMAND AND CONTROL INFRASTRUCTURE, with minimal civilian casualties, there were over 2,500 such raids last year.

DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER MEMORIAL……What a shame there is a controversy over the proposed memorial, art and image. Eisenhower is an interesting case, although he was a great military leader, and President, he was not an heroic battlefield commander…..Many , as I do, believe that his legacy would be better served by establishing a scholarship program similar to a Rhodes scholarship. “IKE”was instrumental in the formation of modern Europe, as the commander of the Allied forces that liberated Western Europe, as the Supreme Allied Commander of NATO, and as president during the COLD WAR with Russia, a scholarship in his name for students of America and Europe, helping students understand other countries……..seems to me it would be a better legacy for Eisenhower, than a bunch of stones cluttering up the Districts monumental core. Surely better than the monstrosity that Frank Gehry designed, this is questioned by many, including the Eisenhower family, as to memorialize Frank Gehry, a great designer.

HOLDER PUSHES DISCRIMINATION NOW, DISCRIMINATION FOREVER…………. At the National Review, columnist John Fund, blasted Attorney General Eric Holder for advocating permanent racial disclosure in favor of black Americans. Last month in an appearance at Columbia University, his alma mater, Holder said,” I Can’t imagine a time in which the need for more diversity would ever cease. Affirmative action has been an issue since segregation practices, “he declared. “The question is not when it ends, but when it begins. When do the people of color truly get the benefits to which they are entitled. But we have an Attorney General of the United States say that force of government must be used, forever, to enshrine into law that was once used to be “called reverse discrimination,” is for him to say that American law will always put skin color above other considerations—and pick winners accordingly.

OBAMA DOCTRINE FAILURE…………Three years ago, President Obama set forth to recast American foreign policy in an image of his own design. It was one in which the White House engaged with enemies and undercut allies, apologized for American exceptionalism, and favored the “soft power” of treaties and international organizations. The “Obama Doctrine” was tailor made to burnish America’s supposedly flagging reputation on the world stage. Today we are seeing the disastrous results of a doctrine gone wrong………..Beginning in IRAN, Obama sought to engage a regime led by a man who has openly called for the destruction of Israel. Ahmadinejad was not mollified by the President’s charm offensive, and now, even in the face of escalating sanctions, Iran is ratcheting up its rhetoric, threatening to cut off a quarter of the world’s energy supply and marching towards a nuclear war.

……SYRIA, is another example of Obama Doctrine failure. The President entering office hoping the hostile regime of Bushar al-Assad, and soft-pedaled it’s criticism of Assad’s violent crackdown on anti-government protesters. The Result? Syria ordered the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Damascus, threatened the U.S. ambassador, and to date has killed more than 10,000 Syrians who are standing against the autocratic government…………..In EGYPT the President hesitated when the people called for Hoshi Burbank’s ouster, but wound up supporting the overthrow at the end. Now, though, the Muslim Brotherhood is within inches of grasping power, the country’s peace treaty with Israel is being questioned, and anti-pro-democracy American workers are facing criminal trials………….In Afghanistan, the President has insisted in on a speedy withdrawal of American forces, while”persuing negotiations with the TALIBAN….a veritable enemy that launched attacks against American troops.

In the midst of this tinder box, anti-American protests are flaming after an apparent burning of Korans at a U.S. military base. The President, once again issued an apology, yet the Taliban is calling for retaliation against the United States this is the same Taliban that Vice President Biden said “is not our enemy.”…………IRAQ ,too ,has devolved into violence following the President’s decision to withdraw all troops. In that short period of time, the country has witnessed ongoing insurgent attacks, a mushrooming political crisis, and the threat of civil war, which would aid neighboring IRAN.

Rather than pursuing the ill-advised Obama Doctrine, with a underfunded military, it is time for the President to put defending America first and appeasing and our enemies last. THAT IS A DOCTRINE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE CAN RELY ON……..

THE TRUTH BEHIND OIL SUBSIDIES………….It’s easy to Take shots at oil companies, especially when oil prices are rising over $4 per gallon. Playing the role of DAVID against the enormous corporate GIANT is a way to score political points, so it is no wonder that president Obama and liberals in Congress, have issued a call for the end of oil subsidies as a way of wrecking revenge against these they say are responsible for the high cost of energy…

The lefts anti-subsidy rhetoric is right on. Ending all energy subsidies, including those for oil and gas, would be good for all American taxpayers and consumers. If those Senators were truly serious about cutting the deficit, they would also call for the elevation of the president’s pet projects, such as projects on renewable fuels, electric vehicles, wind and solar, throw in clean coal and natural gas, too. That would be the right move for the taxpayers, but that is not their goal—-vilifying an industry is their end game. There is much the President and Congress could do if they wanted to give Americans a break at the gas pumps. For starters, they could provide access to our country’s domestic energy reserves, roll back regulatory burdens on companies, and lift the de facto moratorium on off shore drilling permits. This move will not cure our energy problems, but would surely ease the immediate pain.

DEATH OF NATION BY 1,000 CUTS…………” CREEPING NORMALCY” describes a method of accomplishing major change by making negative changes slowly in small increments, not always seen as objectionable, until the entire concept of rule is irreversibly altered. Such was the method used by Marxists in converting Russia to a communist dictatorship, and Adolf Hitler’s conversion of Germany to a fascist dictatorship.

America’s democratic form of government is under attack. Presidents and others in authority have been practicing it for years, gaining momentum with Franklin Roosevelt during the Great Depression. The current government has brought the attack to a new, accelerating and frightening level. The Obama administration, assuming authority not given by our Constitution, is telling us, what we can eat, what insurance we should buy, it is by-passing Congress by making illegal appointments, telling Boeing where they can build, and the latest, telling religious organizations it must give up practices it has used for centuries—-an outright violation of the First Amendment of the Constitution. Congress seems to turning a blind eye to these acts, apparently unwilling to challenge them.

He inherited from the Bush administration the security assistance to Israel he now advertises as proof his “unprecedented” commitment to the Jewish State. His Defense secretary has repeatedly cast doubt on the possibility of a U.S.Military action against Iran. His Secretary of State, answering a question from a Tunisian” student about “U.S. lobbyists courting the “Zionist lobbies” by saying “a lot of things are said during an election year that should not bear a lot to attention.”. In Obama’s growing period, a Chicago rabbi named Wolf, who in 1909 Waged in the synagogue, staged a rally protest in favor of Black Panther Bobby Seale, in the early 1990’s, Wolf denounced the construction of the Holocaust Museum in Washington. In1996, the rabbi was of Obama’s earliest and most prominent supporters when Obama ran for the Illinois state Senate. Wolf later described Obama’s views on Israel as “In line of “PEACE NOW” an organization with a long history of blaming Israel for the Arab-Israel conflict.

Obama had other Jewish mentors, one was Betty Saltzman, who still seethes with hostility toward the mainstream Jewish groups, and later became active in left-wing Jewish political groups like “J STREET. It was she who organized the rally against the IRAQ WAR where Obama proclaimed is opposition to an American invasion. Ms. Saltzman introduced Obama to David Axelrod, who became Obama’s advisor and political organizer. He was instrumental, in bringing longtime diplomat Denis Ross, which was Obama’s inoculation strategy to modify Jewish voters who might be apprehensive about Obama’s sincerity of his commitment to Israel. Not surprising Mr. Ross became a short term member of the Obama team.

The important question is about the Obama’s truthfulness about Israel, or is he holding his tongue and bidding his time? On the evidence it appears that Mr., Obama’s speech at Aipac was one long exercise in political cynicism.

SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL………To bad this “JOBS” bill is all the political market will bear…………….We keep hearing that the partisan gulf in Washington is too wide to “get things done” but Democrats and Republicans agree on a lot. For example both parties claim to revere the Constitution. Proof is that they are coming together on a small bill to help small businesses that the House will pass this week. There is a lesson here about modern Washington. Even the White House is on board, and not because it thought “Our Business” referred to General Motors and Solyndra. The White House issued a statement endorsing the Jobs Act, writing that “ Helping start-ups and small businesses succeed and create jobs is fundamental to having an economy built to last.” One provision, which passed the House 413-11 in November, would ALLOW small companies to use advertising or solicitations to contact investors and raise capital.

A Securities and Exchange Commission relic from 1982 bars such contact, which makes it hard for ventures to raise capital “without deep political connections. Another reform raised the SEC registration to $50 million from $5 million which will make it easier for businesses to go public. Every member voted for this, except Michigan Democrat JOHN DINGEL. There are plenty of things Washington could do to jump start growth and investment, even short of major tax reform , and the House Republicans have passed literally dozens of bills that would help the economy. But they lie dormant in the Senate because Harry Reid and his gang of Democrats won’t endorse anything without a major tax increase.

OBAMA’S SWEET DEAL WITH NORTH KOREA……….Diplomacy has costs, Tehran’s mullahs will be watching, so says John Bolton………..In the transition from an old dictator to a new one, some observers were losing faith in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, believing it has lost its magic touch in the arts of dissembling. The two sides agreed that Pyongyang would suspend nuclear activities at its Yongbyon facility, allow very limited international inspections, and implement a moratorium on long range missiles. In the State Department’s telling on February 29th, we gave nothing in return to the North’s unilateral concessions, “designed to improve the atmosphere for dialogue and demonstrate its commitment to denuclearization. How sweet. Unfortunately, the Leap Year deal is worse than just another failed effort to chit-chat North Korea out its nuclear weapons. It provides a political and economic lifeline to Kim Jong Eun’s uncertain new regime. Most objectionable morally, despite U.S. denials, we are providing 240,000 tons of food that almost certainly will be diverted to the DPRK and other favored recipients. Make no mistake, we are simply feeding young Kim’s dictatorship Iran, meanwhile must be relishing this latest display of U.S. weakness and memory loss. Tehran sees with laser-sharp clarity that when the going gets tough, Team Obama gets negotiating. The resumption of the long-failed negotiations will bid it time, and the expectation of reduced economic pressure. Iran can even count on Mr. Obama to try to restrain Israel, it’s strongest and most determined regional opponent.

AL CAPONE’S LEGACY LIVES ON……….On March 15th the former Governor of Illinois, Rod Blogojevich, started to serve a 14 year sentence for corruption in a Federal low-security prison. In this part of America, he is treading a well-worn path. Over four decades, four out of the seven governors had been convicted of corruption and had the distinction of being the federal district with the most convictions since 1976. Since the 1,828 elected officials, appointees, government employees and a few private individuals have been convicted of corruption in the judicial zone including Chicago. All the convicted governors and 24 of the alderman had tried to extract bribes from builders, developers, business owners and those seeking to do business with the state and city.

WICHITA SHOCKER………you can beat City Hall…..Local politicians like to get in bed with local businesses, and tax payers are usually the losers. So, three cheers for the voter revolt in Wichita, Kansas. In late 2011 the Wichita city council passed, 6 to 1, a bill excepting the new Ambassador Hotel, owned by real estate developers, from 75% of the city hotel tax, plus over $10 million in other subsidies, all the skids were greased. But the voters were so enraged that they launched a petition for a voter referendum. Despite hundreds of thousands of dollars spent by the hotel advocates, almost 10 times more than opponents spent, voters routed the subsidy 61% to 39%. WHAT AMERICANS WANT FROM GOVERNMENT, AND THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION, IS EQUAL TREATMENT.

And Boone Pickens points out in a separate letter that it’s similar to the government building highways and the cost being paid back via gasoline taxes on the fuel consumed by those who use the highways”

ADDENDUM: WSJ JUST REPORTED THE FOLLOWING…..”BIG OIL, BIGGER TAXES” The industry sends more money to Washington than to its shareholders Obama says he wants to end subsidies to what he calls “the fuel of the past,” but lucky for him oil and gas will be the fuels of the future too. His budget-deficit blowout would so much worse without Big Oil, because the truth is that this industry is subsidizing the government. As for the subsidies that Mr. Obama says the oil industry receives, these are not direct cash handouts like those that go the “green lobby” They are deductions from taxes that cover the cost of doing business and earning income to tax in the first place. Obama wants to put oil and gas companies at a competitive disadvantage against other industries, like making them more expensive than his favorites in the wind, solar and ethanol industries. The oil industry paid $37.7 billion in corporate taxes in 2009, the latest year for which data is available. Why he would still raise more taxes, which will result in his tax agenda, amid political panic over $4 per gallon gasoline is a mystery.

OBITUARY: ALEX WEBSTER.NEW YORK GIANTS, RUNNING BACK and COACH, DIES at the AGE of 80…….A burly presence for his era, at 6 foot 3 inches and about 230 pounds, Webster, known as BIG RED, gained key yardage in the Giants high powered offense. WHODONIT AT MF GLOBAL….new evidence casts doubt on Jon Corzine ‘testimony.

Almost four months after the bankruptcy of futures giant MF Global, clients still haven’t been made whole and still haven’t been told what happened to $1.6 billion of their money. Nor has anyone been with civil or criminal offenses. In his testimony to Congress, Mr. Corzine said Ms. O’Brien (an assistant treasurer) assured him that the transfer of $175 million was transferred to the JPMorgan Bank, was legitimate. But when J.P. Morgan wanted an assurance in writing that it wasn’t an improper transfer of customer funds, Ms. O’Brien refused to sign such a letter, telling colleagues it was too broadly written. HOW CHRYSLER CAN ACTUALY HELP DETROIT……….. Did you know that there are no Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Kia, or Hyundai manufacturing plants in the Detroit area? The Motor City has a well-earned reputation of having the greatest auto workers in the nation, et honorable Michiganders largely build cars for only three companies. Apart from having their cars assembled in Michigan, those three companies have something in common: THE UNITED AUTO WORKERS (UAW)…..It also turns out that every other car manufacturer has something in common, too: not wanting the UAW do to them what it did to the Big Three. There are about as many non-union manufacturing jobs as in the late 1970’s. During that time “three quarters of unionize manufacturing jobs have disappeared. UAW president Bob King is leading an effort to amend the Michigan constitution to permanently block right-to-work laws…Chrysler in preparing for the “Clint Eastwood” ad for the Super Bowl, used on-union players to play the part of Detroit’s union workers. If you think it’s too late for Detroit, think again. Indiana recently passed right to work legislation, causing Caterpillar to shut down plants in Canada and Illinois. There may be a move by Chrysler, whose controlling interest is Italy-based, rumored to sell their share to the UAW, who were given a large share of Chrysler, by the Obama administration.

BOONE-DOGGLE….the natural gas industry does not need subsidies……..Something about energy policies causes Republicans and even many conservatives to abandon every free market principle they claim to believe and embrace corporate welfare. The latest example comes from Texas billionaire Boone Pickens, who is pushing the Nat Gas Act…….Mr. Pickens wants to pour subsidies on the production and purchase of vehicles that use natural gas as a transportation fuel. This is the hottest energy fad in Washington and has had as many as 189 House co-sponsors, including 72 Republicans. The Pickens plan got a big lift from Senate President Reid, who introduced a version of the bill (watch out) with Democrat Robert Menendez from New Jersey and North Carolina Republican Richard Burr , a very rare case of bi-partisan agreement.

“Natural gas is cheap, clean, abundant and it’s OURS,” Pickens said and he is right. Breakthroughs in drilling technologies, such as hydraulic drilling in shale, has increased America’s recoverable natural gas at a low cost. Natural gas is already supplanting coal plants for electricity in many places and is likely to keep doing so, unless environmentalists kill the “frocking industry.

The natural gas shale revolution is a blessing for the U.S. it’s very abundance and low cost means that that it could be commercially viable substitute for oil without taxpayer handouts. At current prices a gallon of transportation fuel from natural gas costs about one –third to one-half less a gallon of gas from oil. “The big transportation debate of the moment is whether the future belongs to natural gas vehicles battery operated cars or hybrids, or whether the new sources of oil will keep gasoline, diesel and the internal-combustion engine paramount. WHO KNOWS?

But we do know who doesn’t know. CONGRESS…Best to let millions of investors and consumers, otherwise known as the “market” decide these fates rather than blowing billions of dollars, and creating another industry that depends on political intervention to survive. One reason the U.S. has trillion-dollar deficits is because Congress too often forget why they were elected, one being to get rid of subsides and ear marks, NOT TO CREATE NEW ONES.

PRESIDENT OBAMA”S “OTHER GM BAILOUT.” The $18 billion tax gift that Obama didn’t mention………….President Obama appearing before the UAW’s tent revival meeting, said “the bailouts succeeded not because of anything the government did.”…..guess the $81.8 billion that the taxpayers surrendered to GM and Chrysler was for “services rendered”, the one other “big thing” that rarely gets mentioned, was the U.S. Treasury’s tax gift given to GM who also inherited the accumulated net operating losses that would have turned into a pumpkin in normal bankruptcy. By manipulating tax rules by FIAT “Treasury gave the firm, and it’s owners, including the UAW, $18 billion more in assets.” Thus a Democratic Administration gave a massive tax benefit to one of the party’s biggest supporters. The other problem is that it put FORD and GM’s other competitors at a disadvantage, as bailouts usually do.

PRESIDENT OBAMA’S 2013 BUDGET…………….The President’s budget, released February 13, repeats the stale and unsuccessful policies of the past 3 years. The Administration’s apparent vision is one of bigger government, more spending, higher taxes, and deeper deficits. At a time when runaway spending and swelling deficits must be reversed. Moreover, he neglects to deal with the biggest drivers of spending and debt, the entitlement programs. In his first post-debt ceiling buffet, Obama appears to have offered an election-year campaign document, not a credible blueprint for addressing the Nation’s fiscal and economic problems.

He has chosen to take a “pass “on the most critical fiscal challenger of the day, the need to restructure Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security—-the President has once again taken a pass. By the middle of this century, these three programs and ObamaCare will consume about 18% of the GDP, soaking up all the historical average OF FEDERAL TAX REVENUE. The notion of “protecting” them through benign neglect only ensures their collapse, and the longer that Congress and the President wait to address the problem, the more wrenching the consequences will be. The President merely reruns previous ideas, such as more cuts to medical providers, ignoring the need for fundamental reform.

OBAMA CALLS FOR CONGRESS TO END ALL GAS AND OIL SUBSIDIES……With his re-election increasingly tied to the price of that Americans are paying at the gas pump, Obama has called on Congress to end the $4 billion subsidies for oil and gas companies, and vowed to tackle the nations long term energy issues while “shunning phony election year promises about lowering gas prices”……Ending the “industry giveaway, and would spur the development of alternative energy sources that could bring long-term relief from rising gas prices.” (more B.S.)”You, Congress, you can stand up for the oil companies, or you can stand up for the American people. “As to the Republicans demanding to increase our oil supply. Obama declared, “anyone who tells you that we can drill our way out of this problem, doesn’t know what they are talking about.” Largely absent from the debate, has been the role Iran has played. U.S. and its allies have targeted the Iranian shipments of oil, which has failed, since China, Russia, Turkey and others have failed to block the exporting of Iran’s oil. Which leaves Israel as the one to make the decision, which based on their success, or lack of it, Israel stands to be “Lone Ranger”….while the world holds its breath.

ISRAEL HAS THE RIGHT TO DEFEND ITSELF FROM ATTACK……..Over the past several weeks, Israel and Iran has risen to the boiling point, bringing both nations and perhaps the world, to the brink of a serious military conflict. Making matters worse, the Islamic Republics supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei recently called Israel” a cancerous tumor that should be cut, and will be cut.” Khamenei even went so far as to pledge support for anyone willing to attack Israel” Unfortunately, my prediction is that Iran will push ahead aggressively with its nuclear program. I also predict, that once it achieves the ability to do so, Iran will attack Israel with those very same weapons that the UN and the U.S. have been trying to stop. That is why America must stand with Israel now and forever, declaring to the rest of the world that an attack on Israelis an attack on the United States, as former U.S. Presidents have done in the past. Simply put, Israel’s survival, the survival of a democracy in the Middle East, and the survival of America’s honor, ideals and reputation are at stake.

With the elections 9 months away, he’s scrambling to win back Jewish voters and donors. It is true that there has been increased U.S. funding for Israel’s defense programs, of which comes from Obama’s maintaining a 10 year commitment made by President George W. Bush in 2007.

October 2011: Speaking to reporters, Defense Secretary Panetta raised provocative questions about Israel.” Is it enough to maintain a military edge if you’re isolating yourself in the diplomatic arena ? This characterization of self –created isolation surprised Israeli officials. After all Obama had pressured Israel to make unilateral concessions in the peace process. And Obama’s administration had publically confronted Israel’s leader, making unprecedented demands for a COMPLETE SETTLEMENT FREEZE- which Israel met in 2010. The president’s stern lectures to Israel’s leaders were delivered repeatedly and publically at the UN, in Egypt and Turkey, all the while he did not visit Israel to express solidarity. During the month of, in an open microphone, French President Sarkozy, said of Israel’s premier “I can’t stand Netanyahu, he is a liar” Rather than defend Israel’s back, Obama piled on, “Your tired of him; what about me ?. I have to deal with him every day.”….On February 2012, at a conference in Tunis, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was asked about Obama’s pandering to “Zionist lobbies” She agreed that this was a fair question and went on to explain that during an election season “there are comments made that certainly do not reflect our foreign policy”. Last December, New Jersey Senator Menendez lambasted administration officials at a Foreign Relations Committee hearing. He had proposed sanctions on Iran’s Central Bank and the administration was hurling a range of objections. “Published reports say we about a year, so I find that outrageous, that when the clock is ticking, you come here and say what you say.”…..Last year a number of leading Democrats, including Harry Reid and Steny Hoyer, felt compelled to question the President’s proposal about Israel returning to the pre-1987 borders. Rep Engel told CNN that, “for the president to emphasize that, was very big mistake”…Senator Charles Schumer used even stronger language “

STOP THE PRESSES, THE PRIME MINISTER OF ISRAEL HAS JUST THIS MINUTE APPEARED ON THE TUBE, RESPONDING TO PRESIDENT OBAMA’S APEARENCE ON SUNDAY BEFORE THE AMERICAN ISRAELI PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMIITEE…….While I have many other subjects to address, who better than the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to speak and clarify Israel’s position as compared to President Obama’s desire to use diplomacy, which hasn’t worked during his present term as president……Netanyahu’s speech was outstanding and if you missed it, you should read it in your local papers or on-line. There is a great difference, after they got past the usual B.S. which was obvious after their joint meeting, There is no question that Israel will do whatever they believe is to their existence, preferably with the support of the United States.

You guys know that we don’t do too much politically in regards to our writing, or bull crap, whatever you want to call it. We like to talk about our garden, or related projects, throw up some recipes, or just “jerk your chain” a little.

But Deb and I both are becoming so frustrated from the complete and total arrogance of our politicians, and their lack of concern of what they’re doing to our Country, that sometimes we have to stop and throw “our two-cents” in! I guess unfortunately for some, this just happens to be one of those days…God Bless ya’ll!

They’re spending us into oblivion without the least bit of concern for “We the People,” or, our families. This is fact, you only have to look.

Check this out, it was sent to us by a good friend of ours. It’s a great story, but one not condoned by much of our political “elite,” media, or for sure our more liberal society today…

A Great Story

Can you guys believe that? This is an example of another Country’s gratitude to the United States of America, and its Armed Forces, for the sacrifice given by our men and women to liberate them. Far too many gave the ultimate sacrifice, but these people STILL appreciate everything those men and women did in their behalf…so many years ago!

These people STILL consider the United States to be a great, and caring Country, sadly, far too many that LIVE here today don’t look at it this way, and it starts…at the top!

This is election year my friends, and it’s time WE do something about the goings on in our Country. Although in my examples this morning, I’ll be “preaching to the choir” to an awful lot of folks, I still feel it very appropriate to do so.

First off, last election, far too many examples of our current President’s beliefs, ideals, and his associates, were covered up, or “swept under the rug,” by our media. We WEREN’T allowed to discuss these things, right down to the use of his middle name, remember? All of which, to the left and their distortion of the word…political correctness, were examples of anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, reverse-racism and the guilt implied through it towards good, hard-working, America loving citizens, causing “guilt votes”…in my opinion.

They wanted us to BELIEVE, that past offences toward “people of color” were…our fault, and that we owed a debt to society for past wrongs. Wrongs by the way that we had absolutely NOTHING to do with us. So in reality, we’re supposed to pay for the sins of past generations? Why?

Well, this is actually the case in point, America has come along way for our past sins on this topic, and I live in the South. We hardly ever hear racial remarks, honestly, BUT once more, I assure you, this will once again be a pounding point in the upcoming election, even though it’s a blatant lie, in almost every case.

Without going off any further into this topic let me say this, “I don’t care what color or ethnic group you are a part of. This to me makes NO difference. What I am concerned with is that whoever we elect, or choose to represent us, or even lead companies in our growth as a Country through supplying jobs for American citizens, that they be, the most qualified for the job…again, the MOST QUALIFIED! NOT decided by a “quota to be met” in regards of…we need so many whites, or so many Hispanic or people of color. Nor by a quota designating this many must be women, or even homosexuals, BUT again, THE MOST QUALIFIED!

If this happens to be a man or woman of color, a homosexual, a white man or woman, or a “man from Mars,” I don’t care, AS LONG as they ARE the most qualified! Color to me has no matter…it’s what in the person’s heart that matters, that’s all. If they have the desire and motivation to “grab the bull by the horns,” and help to lead our Country back to the greatness it deserves…I’m all for them!

This morning let’s look back at a few things. Things I’m not going to say I said, BUT things “THEY said.” Again, I know these issues have been discussed before, especially among conservative Americans…Americans who treasure and value the things that made our Country great to begin with.

Yet today, these same people, of which me and my family are a part of, are considered racist, hate-mongering, anti-American, redneck, and even…EXTREMISTS! Why…because we don’t adhere to, or abide by, the socialist indoctrination of our people, that’s why.

Once more these topics are “old news,” but are news that our media refused to make us aware of, or even attempted to validate such remarks…last election cycle, BUT, they all are still pertinent today.

Why, because in my heart, I don’t believe for one second that these people in power today are really what “We the People” want leading our Country. They’re radicals…one and all.

Look back, refresh your memories of who these people REALLY are. Listen closely…they tell you who they are quite frankly, if you’ll only lend an ear.

THIS election, all these points and issues need to be brought TO EVERYONE’s attention, again, and again, and again. Last election they weren’t! Look what it got us!

You must know the truth. Without the truth, how can anyone make a correct decision…about anything? This is their way…dumbing us down, and not broadcasting the truth! How critical is that? Let’s see…

Mark Lloyd, Obama appointee as the FCC “Diversity Chief,” or, Czar. This on free speech, and the importance of the media in Hugo Chavez’s regime…oh, by the way, he clearly states, “Chavez’s GREAT REVOLUTION.”

“The property owners rebelled?” No doubt. These people are radicals, born, bred and true believers of. EVERYTHING America stands for is despised by them all.

Mr. Lloyd again…this time in regards to race. Making whites step down to enable more “people of color,” women, or even homosexuals to hold positions of power. There’s exactly what I was talking about earlier…a man, or woman being appointed to positions of power through…their credentials, not their race or ethnicity!

Here’s Anita Dunn stating Mao was a great political philosopher. Mao had over 20 million of his own Countrymen killed at the very least…once more, these people ARE radicals, and adhere to such as this.

How about Ron Bloom…Mao once again…

The first lady stated they were unaware of these ornaments!

Aren’t they proud of what this Country, of which prior to the election she stated she’d “never been proud of, in her adult life,” enabled her and her husband to do! The “American Dream,” has been hijacked. Used by every one of them, our free speech too, to undermine the morals, standards and values that made this Country great! Everything American, they find appalling. But, I guess Mao did too!

Bill Ayers…President Obama’s friend, oh but he states not, yet…he was and probably still is. His wife, Bernadine Dohrn…same mold, or cut from the same cloth. Radicals, one and all!

Remember Rev. Wrights continuous bashing of everything American, claiming that the whites introduced AIDS to Africa, and the chickens were coming home to roost describing 9-11, and his vehement race bashing of whites and Jews alike, EVEN other balacks…if they don’t condone his way of thinking.

One quick case in point…the good Reverend and the like-minded proclaim vehemently AND steadfastly that if a black American doesn’t go along with their views…they’re labeled as “Uncle Tom’s,” “House-niggras,” or “Want to be whiteys!” These ARE…their words.

Do you remember a phrase used throughout history…”Divide and Conquer!” This is what is going on today…they’re dividing us as a people…class warfare is the intent, to this there’s no question. Listen to them for God’s sake!

Our President attended the good Reverend’s church for 20 years or more, but dern, he never heard this type of rhetoric coming from the good Reverends mouth?? How could this be? Oh, this is because, he says so! I gotcha.

This statement from the same man who refused to put his hand over his heart during the playing of our National Anthem, who also was running for, and later WON the election and is now the President of the United States of America?? Our National anthem playing, and he standing there with his hands folded across his crotch?? He loves our Country, doesn’t he? What a great example to the people, our children and our grandchildren!

To all of our troops throughout history, who have given the ultimate sacrifice, or lost limbs, were wounded, and, or, spent long periods of time away from their own families, so we could live with ours safely…this type of behavior is blasphemy!

Our President refused to begin with to wear a US flag pin?? I personally found this incomprehensible. Let’s see, his reasoning for this was… “I don’t believe I’ll wear THAT pin on my chest…”

Uh, uh, uh, I still can’t believe ANYONE running for the Presidency of the United States of America not being PROUD to wear it??

UNTIL, a disabled Vet handed him one to wear…”I believe I’ll go ahead and put that on…because of your service…it means a lot coming from you.”

Prior to this moment, he refused wearing “THAT pin.” Do you believe his change of heart came from realizing the mistake he’d made prior, or simply that it HAD become an issue with Americans and HAD to be done because of political survivability…through deceit and…meaning VOTES??What do you think?

Look, we can go on and on with examples of their views, their opinions, their agendas, and their goals. All of which should be very, very clear to the American people at this point and time. But the reason for this post today is to remind each and every one of you what our politicians have come to represent.

Do I condone this type of representation of the current administration…no, I sure don’t. But this is not for the reasons our media likes to portray such feelings as I have. To them, once again, I’m a racist, I’m an Extremist, I, to them, represent everything that is evil. These portrayals of my character are placed upon me by a society of people who consider Lucifer, one of the greatest radicals in history! Once more, this is not MY statement, but one of their “great philosophers…”

So you see, the truth is simply that I want our children and grandchildren to enjoy the same opportunities that I had in this great Country of ours. Again, I couldn’t care less about the color of a person’s skin…I only care about what’s in a person’s heart, and it really is, that simple.

This is not JUST about Democrat or Republican politicians, because sadly today there are WAY too many of both parties that have become only about…THEM.

Where are our political candidates today, that are screaming about the above political agendas, and what they’re doing to our Country? Doesn’t it seem that they would be screaming this at every opportunity? I’d think so, yet can’t figure out why they aren’t…can you?

This will not change unless “We the People” DEMAND change. They’re destroying everything we have always stood for. This has to stop. This is election year, please, go to the polls and vote. Let’s have record turnout and show these people, on both sides of the aisle, that WE are the true power in our Country, not them, as they’ve convinced themselves that they are!

The reasoning for this post today is to once again, refresh your memories of who we have in power today. Remember this…don’t forget! Pass this along to all your friends and family. Dub and Deb

I try to stay away from very many political statements by Deb or myself in our writings, at least on this site. The exception being our ole buddy AP, who brings us the “Revolution.” We try to mainly stay on a gardening, recipe, prepping nature, but sometimes I just have to, as Deb describes it…opening my BIG mouth! Well, today is one of those occasions!

Anyway, I know all of ya’ll are like Deb and myself watching these food prices increasing. I’m getting sticker shock any more at the way food pricing has increased. Isn’t it amazing what they’ve done the past couple years?

Unemployment is still high, yet the cost to only subsist anymore continues an upward spiral. For those who haven’t, you guys might just wanna wake-up to the goings on today of our politicians. Just out of curiosity, how many vacations HAS our President taken? They sure seem to be tightening their belts in DC, huh?

I have to believe the way these people, our elected leaders are acting, they’re probably LOOSENING their belts instead of tightening them. You eat, sleep, breathe, and live on an unlimited money pit to draw from, created by we the taxpayer, you’ll soon see your britches might be goin up a size or two.

The problem we as taxpayers have is our leaders don’t seem to come to grips that OUR incomes have taken a hit, and by so, the bottomless pit they draw from is fast becoming a very LIMITED bottomless pit. We cannot sustain their fiscal recklessness! Do the math, it’s pretty elementary, even to a “dumb ole redneck” like yours truly!

So, how do they adjust to this mess they’ve gotten us, and this great Country we live in into? MORE SPENDING! It’s insane to be honest, and insane on our part to tolerate such behavior! In the end IT IS OUR MONEY! Oh yeah, and the Chinese, the Indians, and whoever else they can borrow money from!

Over 40 cents of EVERY dollar these guys spend…is borrowed. What must JUST the interest be daily on this borrowed money? They are literally spending our Country into oblivion! Good Lord people, please start hollerin!

On top of taking more and more from us, what do they do?? Print more of course! “Tax the rich, tax the rich,” that’s their rallying cry. We’re surely not rich, and struggle daily makin ends meet, but to be quite frank with you guys…I AIN’T EVER worked for a poor guy!

Yet, the people that produce the jobs are asked to bear more and more of the brunt of others less fortunate. Hmmm…less fortunate they say? How’s that? You guys mind if we stop today and take a look?
There are people in our Country that need help, I totally, 100% agree with this. In my opinion though, I feel that they are the handicapped, the elderly living off their Social Security, the very sick, and our veterans. Yes sir, help these guys out some.

BUT, today we’ve become a “Nanny State,” in every sense of the word. We give to people, and the majority of those on the receiving end of this “giving,” no longer appreciate this act. They’ve been taught by our government that this has become a right, their right, and this is literally a sin.

Many of these have been on government aid for…generations! Yep, generations now! On top of this, many, many of them are…illegals! I also advocate immigration, BUT, through the proper channels, and LEGALLY!

An example…we know an English lady who owns a sub-shop near where my Mom and Dad live. It took her AND her family 5 years to be able to come to the US, through the proper channels. This took beaucoup money, and effort. BUT, they felt this appropriate, and in the end would allow their family the opportunity to grow.

Why, because they recognized the fact that by being able to come to the US, they in fact were providing themselves with a much better opportunity than they were presented with in England. BUT, THEY HAD TO HAVE A BUSINESS IN HAND HERE IN THE US PRIOR TO BEING ABLE TO COME!

Our government in their twisted way of thinking, but in reality, their quest to lower our own standards of living, and by placing such restrictions on this family, made the opportunity to come here almost nil. Our officials made their entry into this Country very stressful, and to a degree almost impossible.

Yet, they persevered, and bought a business and moved here, again 5 years from their initial quest of coming here. But they were forced to literally jump through hoops top get here…legally. This is SO wrong!

Here we have a family that recognized all our Country had to offer. They had the work ethic to honestly help out, hire employees, pay taxes, and, here’s the biggie…CONTRIBUTE! YET, we make it SO difficult for these types of people to get in here anymore. Please explain such a position by our elected officials to me!

Sadly I understand the reasoning for this. They really don’t want these types of people anymore. They don’t want us to live the American Dream, oh no! They want to control us, our way of life, our options and rights as citizens, our way of life, our religion, and even today, what our children eat in schools??

Good night a livin people, this is the farthest you can get from what our Country was founded on. This plan, or agenda, has been in place for many generations now, and slowly but surely the officials in our Country have been implementing this into our society.

Johnson’s vision of a “great society,” was in reality a vision of more governmental power, and less and less of a free market system through which our Country had prospered for so long. Power greed and corruption… “me, me, me, and…ME!” This should be our politician’s REAL topic for election. Shoot, at least they’ll finally be honest in their statements at that point. Today though in election mode, reality is to lie, lie, lie, and MORE lies.

Just look at the promises our current President made during his campaign? How many were just blatant, out and out lies? Transparency? Get outta here! Integrity? Give me a break! Tighten a belt? You betcha! Promote racial “let bygones be bygones?” I’d have to say anything but! Racial Division I find much more descriptive of his policies! But honestly, it’s not just him…far too many of today’s politicians are actually in bed together in this agenda…Democrat AND Republican.

Take a look at the candidates for this year’s election. I for one believe without a doubt that many of our elected leaders are Socialist in their ideals and beliefs. This to put it mildly.
Redistribution of wealth, government taking over companies, government healthcare, manipulation by our leaders in the collapse of our economy (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, AIG, etc.), even our children not being able to fly the US flag on their bikes at school, and the destruction of our Christian beliefs, as well as we can’t say…Merry Christmas…here in the US??

Yet, looking at our candidates, WHO, and I’m only asking you to name one, is shouting about the movement by our Country into a Communist oriented takeover, OR calling the ones who advocate such beliefs what they really are…Communists??

Wouldn’t you think that all these themes would be screamed about by our conservative Presidential candidates? I’d think so, but not one is beating this over anybody’s head. Why? I personally believe that whoever did so, the people would flock to them…in droves.

Yet, I don’t hear this. Well kinda, but it’s like they’re walking on eggs IF they do so. Call it what it is! Show we the people you have virtues, morals, and integrity. Let us hear you loud and clear, don’t sashay around these things. Speak from your heart your convictions, do something to stand above this political correctness mentality, and LEAD!

Illegal immigration is WRONG…stop it. Government intrusion into our private lives is WRONG! The destruction of our free market system is WRONG. TAKING from the rich, to give to the poor is WRONG!

Today’s government pension and retirement packages are WRONG! Giving the unions a part of GM is WRONG! They were the biggest players involved in the collapse of our automobile industry here in the US!
Continuing to fund public sector waste is WRONG! AmTrac, the post office, and all other public sector fiascos are ALL WRONG! Look at the post office…losing billions every quarter, YET, Fed-Ex, UPS, and others in the private sector make money every quarter! This too is ALL WRONG!

Fannie and Freddie were major players in the economic demise of our economy, yet, Franklin Raines pocketed over $20 million in compensation in 2003 alone??? I’ve heard, but didn’t spend the time this morning to substantiate this, but total compensation through the years was over 100 million dollars! This “compensation” from a company that went belly-up with debt. Much of it giving loans, forced on lenders by government regulations to put people into homes who they KNEW HAD NO POSSIBLE WAY OF PAYING THEIR MORTGAGES!

If you or I were to pull such an act…we’d be UNDER the jail! This is just but one of countless examples such as this by…our leaders.

We’ve sat back and let our leaders throw us as taxpayers, under the bus. These same “crusaders for the poor,” as they profess themselves to be, have long lost any fear of public retaliation. We’ve become… “sheeple.”

As I stated earlier, let’s look back at the poor and oppressed…or how our leaders like to describe such constituents.

Let’s begin with the inner cities. President Johnson started this crusade against…poverty. Their dwellings were deplorable, their standard of living was deplorable, and their education and work ethics were deplorable. So, almost 50 years later what’s changed? Nothing!

After ALL these government programs, government initiatives, AND government involvement in these programs…no change! No, I’m sorry, there is change…EVEN MORE people poor and oppressed now! Trillions of dollars later, trillions of dollars later, mind you, the problem is more rampant than ever.

One more, FINE example of our elitist leader’s transformation of our Country down the path of Communism. It’s not as many of us think in regards to our politicians…what in the world are they thinking about, or, are they THAT stupid?? But in reality it’s not that they’re stupid…it’s their goal, their agenda, their power-play on “we the people!” They’ve been actually very, very intelligent AND patient in their desire of transforming our Country…from within!

It’s, human nature…give an inch…take a mile. So in reality, it’s not our leaders who’ve been ignorant in their goal, but the ignorance of we the people sitting back on our haunches allowing our leaders to orchestrate and manipulate us into this fine mess we’re in today!

I’m only putting the blame where it goes, on us, and I wholeheartedly agree that I too have sat back and allowed this to happen. I’m as guilty as the next!

So I guess the most important thing for us to do today is to help try and educate others into the dangerous direction we’re being taken as a Country.

Become involved! Our next election is very crucial my friends. Stand up and be heard. Voice your opinion, and stand up for what’s right. Our days of being led around by our officials, has to stop. Make them accountable, and make them aware OF their accountability.

Quit allowing our government to give us a fish for our next meal. Demand the right to fish for ourselves, and by this becoming the bread winners in regards to our families once more. We don’t want a fish…we want to learn how to fish, and by so…feeding our own family ourselves! Let free markets reign!

Quit letting them buy your souls for a mere pittance of what could be. Start believing in yourselves, and by doing so you’ll see just what our great Country has to offer! Be the best at what you do. Become a self-starter, and don’t let anyone tell you what you can or can’t do when it comes to your work ethic.

Become proud of your accomplishments, and NEVER, EVER TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER! The only person who can stop you from living your own “American Dream,” is you! This is as true a statement as ever has come out of my mouth!

You live in the greatest Country in the world, let’s keep it!

Thank you all for allowing me to vent some frustration this morning. I needed it, plus hopefully it will inspire some. Deb and I have seen some awfully hard times in our own lives, but we never let them deter us from our own goals, or ambitions! As I said earlier…we persevered!

Was it easy? Of course not, but we never expected it to be, and our parents didn’t profess that it would be. You just gotta grab the bull by the horns, work hard at whatever it is you do, trust each other in your decisions, and BELIEVE in yourself!

THEN, do what you tell someone you’re gonna to do, be reasonable in your pricing, and be willing to invest whatever time and energy is needed in accomplishing your goals! Many times Deb and I worked from daylight to cain’t, and there are times we still do.

But, to become successful, no matter in a big way or small, there’s sacrifice involved, and this is where your own desire, motivation, and will TO succeed become critical components in your success.

Few Presidents have surpassed the achievements of Ronald Reagan, the greatest American President since World War 2 with FDR his only peer in the 20th century. His economic policies, based on free markets, low taxes, and less intrusive government regulations of private enterprise, catalyzed three decades of unprecedented economic dynamism and laid the foundation of America’s military primacy, on which the robustness of freedom still exists.

The man in the White House, who claims he killed Ben Laden, led to the demise of the dictator of Libya, surely will not move off his appeasement mode of those who threaten the peace of the world, nor do I see any of the Republican candidates, challenging the President’s goal of changing America into a Socialistic, or Marxist state.
HOW TO LOSE AN ELECTION…….BE A REPUBLICAN …….GOP Senate leader Mitch McConnell famously said a year ago that his main task in the 112th Congress was to make sure President Obama would not be re-elected. Given how he and House Speaker John Boehner have handled the payroll tax debate, it would not be a miracle that they might end up re-electing the President before the 2012 elections take place.

The GOP leaders have some now managed the remarkable feat of being blamed for opposing the one year extension of a tax holiday that they are surely going to pass. This no easy double play. Republicans have also achieved the small miracle of letting Obama position himself as an election-year tax cutter, although he has spent most of his Presidency promoting tax increases and he would hit the economy with one of the largest tax increases ever in 2013. This should be impossible…..most people blame Boehner and his Tea Party for the mess up. In reality, the house had passed a one year extension that included spending cuts to offset the $120 billion, or so, in revenue, such as a freeze on raises for federal employees. Then McConnell met with Senate President Reid. Ended with a TWO MONTH extension financed by higher fees (oh for sure) from the two Freddie’s among other things. Reid immediately had the Senate approve the 2 month extension 89 -10…..someone must of cut the telephone lines between the Senate and the House while Mr. Reid and the White House are having too much fun blaming the Republicans for “raising taxes “on the middle class” as of January, just in time for Obama’s State of the Union address before a national audience.

Republicans would do best to cut their loss and find a way to extend the tax holiday quickly, go home, and return in January with a united House-Senate tragedy that forces Democrats to make positive specific choices that high light the differences between the parties on spending, taxes and regulation.

The most notable Tea Party, is a reference t0 the Boston Tea Party, who in 1773, objected to a British tax on tea, and demonstrated by dumping British tea from three ships docked in the harbor….that was then, and the new “Tea Party” began in 2009, with no central leadership but is composed of a loose affiliation of national and local groups that determine their own platforms and agendas, most consider themselves as Republicans. Endorsing reduced government spending, reduction of the National Debt, and federal budget deficit and adherence to an originality interpretation of the United States Constitution. And there lies the problem within the Republican program, which is more political than idealistic; hopefully this Tea Party will support the main stream Republican leaders.

THE ARAB REVOLT in RETROSPECT……In the waning days of the SHAH, Egypt resembles nothing as much as Iran, in which a comparatively modern regime led by a sickly despot confronts a restive and radical public. Several weeks ago before the demonstrators arrived in Tahrir Square and Hillary Clinton reflexively judged the Mubarak regime “stable”. In 2008, the Obama campaign launched “STOP the SMEARS” in an effort to silence the critics. The 2012, the Obama campaign earlier this year set up the “ATTACK WATCH “web-site to once again have people report any e-mail, website, blog or news article that that dared question Obama’s failed leadership. Now they want to develop a data base of Republican e-mail addresses to target conservative voters with miss-information and attacks against GOP candidates in 2012.

IOWA AND THE FUTURE OF THE GOP…….No matter the outcome, Ron Paul’s strength indicates a resurgence of the libertarian and the isolationist wings of the Republican Party…………Judging by some of the television images of the 2012 Republican presidential race in Iowa, the contest is among a bunch of small-bore candidates courting farmers and born-again Christians out on the chilly prairie.

Look again. The 2012 Republican contest in Iowa is very much a battle over what the GOP should stand for in the years ahead. Just as Republican leaders in Washington can’t seem to reach a consensus of what they are for, so can’t rank and file activists here. Throughout the campaign, a variety of candidates have risen and fallen as caucus-goers have fallen love and then be struck by buyer’s remorse.

Today most leads in polls of the race are within the margin of error. One thing pollsters agree on: a majority of likely caucus-goers say that even at this eleventh hour, they could be persuaded to changing their minds before January 3rd. Get these balances right, and the GOP nominee can easily brush Obama from the White House as Reagan did Carter. Get it wrong by OVER DOING IT IN IOWA AND THE PARTY CAN WANDER THROUGH THE WILDERNESS FOR ANOTHER FOUR YEARS.

SAAB FILES FOR BANKRUPTCY………..Another casualty of how the government resolved the General Motors settlement, who while giving up owner ship, had the power to block takeover attempts by China, which concerned GM was SAAB’s technology would end up in the hands of the Chinese. Any deal to sell can be negated by GM who holds crucial licenses. That determines the value of the company… At the time of the bankruptcy, SAAB employed over 3,000 employees, sales, peaked in 2006, and dwindled by 2009.

THE NLRB’s BOEING SHAM……..WHAT A SHAM , OR SCAM……….Last week, the International Association of Machinists approved an extension of their existing contract with Boeing, in which the company agreed to manufacture it’s Max jet with union labor in Washington State. The very next day, after receiving the all-clear from the machinists, the National Labor Relations Board (NCLB) dropped their lawsuit against Boeing in South Carolina. I always thought the NLRB was supposed to be an independent agency? This settlement now allows Boeing to continue making their787’s MAX in South Carolina By dropping the case, the Obama team at the NLRB, can now claim it delivered a lesson without having to go to court… This gives Democrat Tim Kaine in Virginia being spared from having to endorse a union position that is unpopular in this right to work state.

TROUBLE IN IRAQ….a day after U.S withdrawal, a sectarian compromise unravels……..any one surprised? Only the speed and gravity of the crises now unfolding comes as a surprise…….

In hosting Prime Minister al-Maliki at the White House last week, President Obama hailed Iraq as “a sovereign, self-reliant and democratic”. Mr. Maliki returned home and immediately began a putsch against his Sunni coalition partners. Before television cameras, Maliki announced that his Vice President al-Hashemi a Sunni was a terrorist and ordered for his arrest, during which time Mr.Hashemi fled to autonomous north Kurdish region. Instability, renewed violence or a breakup of Iraq would be welcomed by Tehran, some of its Shiite proxies in Iraq, al-Qaeda inspirited terrorist.

American military presence had calmed these sectarian fevers. In the opinion of Iraqis, U.S. soldiers were honest (no such word in the Iraqis dictionary) brokers in Kurdish and Sunni eyes, shielding them from Maliki’s heavy hand, at the same time Maliki had less reason to fear threats from his rivals. U.S. commanders recommended a force of 15,000 to 18,000 to stay no, which was welcomed by the Kurds and Sunnis, especially the Sunnis, interspersed with Shiites, realizing the Shiites in a “get even mode” would force the Sunnis to leave, but with no place to go.

President Obama determination to end the “bad war”, making sure every NATO soldier would be out of Iraq by year’s end, as promised…

NAVY BUYS BIOFUELS FOR $15 PER GALLON FROM STIMULUS-LINKED FIRM. The Institute for Energy Research unearthed this recent contract. “Last week, the navy signed a contract with two biofuel companies to purchase 450,000 gallons of advanced fuel biofuels at $12 million to assist in President Obama’s goal to establish a domestic biofuel industry and to advance it ways that does “not require Congressional approval.”. While this purchase is only a drop in the bucket compared to the Navy’s annual usage of more than 670 million gallons, their goal is to fuel a normal Navy mission with 50% blend of biofuels and gasoline by 2016… ……the Company selling the fuel is called “SOLAZYME”, and the company’s corporate board includes former and Chief Operations Officer of the Department of Energy, meaning he has experience dealing with energy issues on both sides of the regulatory equation. The Administration seems to be looking for ways to push alternative fuels “WITH OUT CONGRESSIONAL APPROVAL “and the military is a logical place to start. The Heritage’s Jack Spencer noticed the trend last year, “the Pentagon and the environmental movement have found a common cause by linking “America’s national security to the basic tenets in the President’s green agenda. Unfortunately, there are real costs for national security, energy technology the tax payer, and the American consumer.” GOVERNMENT EFFORTS TO PROP UP FAVORED INDUSTRIES ALSO TEND TO BENEFIT THE POLICALLY CONNECTED, SOLAZYME CERTAINLY FITS THE BILL…….

MIA ON THE SHORES OF TRIPOLI……The United States defers to Qatar and the UN in Libya….President Obama often criticized the Bush Administration for failing to “finish the job” in Afghanistan, so it’s odd to see him leave himself vulnerable to the same charge in Libya. Two months after the death of Gadhafi, the cautious and reluctant White House follow up the NATO war resembles its approach to this year’s Arab upheavals in general. The demobilization of dozens of militias and clashes with the new government police, underscore the need for a new arm and police force.

This may be an opening for Washington, under the NATO flag. Cost can’t be an issue, rich in oil and gas; Libyan authorities can easily pick up the tab. The Europeans, who pushed hard for a NATO intervention, seem to care more about buying Libya’s oil than “mid-wifing”a new Arab democracy.. Libyans are grateful to the U.S. for helping topple Gadhafi and they want help to build their new country. Assisting them would be in the U.S. interest- to prevent another radical regime from taking over, and more important to show Arabs across the Middle East. That there is a better future (despite the mess up in Iraq) when a dictator falls. Mr. Obama’s Libyan intervention will not be a success unless he finishes this job.

Was established in 1775, you have had 236 years to get it right, and is broke…… B….Social Security was established in 1935,you have had 76 years to make it profitable…..C..Fannie Mae was established in 1938,. you have it for 73 years to make it profitable…..D….War on Poverty started in 1964. After 47 years and over $1 trillion dollars each year, it is still broke……E..Medicare and Medicaid were established 1965, you have had it for46 ears and it is still broke………F..Freddie Mac was established in1970, you have had 41 years to correct, still broke………G,,Dept. of Energy was established in 1977 to lessen our need to buy from foreign countries, It has ballooned to 18,000 employees, 34 years later we import more oil than ever before……..YOU HAVE FAILED IN EVERY “GOVERNMENT SERVCE” THAT YOU CREATED AND SHOVED DOWN OUR THROATS WHILE OVER SPENDING OUR TAX DOLLARS……HAVE WE LOST OUR MINDS TO” POLITICAL CORRECTNESS”………Maybe we should be thinking of turning over these, and others, to WAL-MART, who handles 8,2 billion different purchases per year, (Earth’s population is about 6.5 billion)…….90% of all AMERICANS live within 15 miles from a WAL-MART, NO!!! I DO NOT OWN ANY WAL-MART Stock!.. and this idea probably originated when there was talk about WAL- MART placing a Post Office at each location.

While watching TV and hunting for a closing statement, sure enough it did not take too long to find a story that illustrates what is happening to our country. The subject matter was about who should be paying for some work on the World Trade Center Memorial, which still does not have a name, but thousands of folks visit the site daily. While these three political “hacks”, one from New Jersey, one from the Port Authority and the Mayor of New York, each represent the governing body of the site……..while these three were stating their arguments, close to 100 workers dropped their tools and went home. And that is an example how government works, and why the Memorial is still not finished, nor has a name……..this “story” is repeated many times, in fact this example is probably one of the reasons why our country is stagnant, and millions of people are out of work, and the related costs continue to rise.

Well folks this is the last day in December 2011, a year most of us will take a deep sigh of relief. I was a depression child, and remember it well. We were one of the more fortunate, as my father had a job throughout this period. He started to sell attached homes, and observe the construction of a project in Rosedale, Queens County. I don’t think it paid very well, like watching my mother make meat loaf, which was a combination of chopped meat mixed with hard boiled eggs in the middle, and a half a loaf of wet white bread. Selling houses during this period, was limited to those who were cops, firemen, school teachers, employees of the gas and electric companies, who were able to obtain mortgages, about 10 t0 15 % buyers were either self-employed, or worked for a credit worthy firm. My father’s job had some perks, we occupied one of the many empty house, every time a house was sold, my father would notify the moving company the milk company, the laundry company, the coal company and the bakery, for which we received free milk and dairy, fresh rolls, ice, discounted coal and other goodies.
