You know, in regards to expressing my personal views involving politics today, I’ve gotten to the point where it really saddens me in my attempt to understand the path we’re being led down anymore as a Country.

I try and rationalize steps I see being implemented by our government, and keep an open mind in their regard. Maybe it’s because of this, maybe the reasoning for this decision was because of that, yet once I get down to the nitty-gritty I see only one outcome…basically, total governmental control and the advocating of a socialist agenda.

To me personally I see the end of our Republic looming on the horizon. To stop this steady march towards an end I surely don’t want to see, not so much for me, but for my children and grandchildren.

I’ve lived and experienced being a part of, and living in, the greatest Country on earth…the United States of America. If we’re not very, very careful, this legacy will come to an end.

Deb and I want to write about gardening, canning our vegetables, the benefits derived from juicing and eating good, fresh vegetables. We want to laugh and cut-up with you guys. We want to enjoy our lives, as we always have, and now that we too are getting older, we’d like a sustainable lifestyle, and a certain financial future.

We’ve sacrificed and worked hard for this, but sadly today, with our economy teetering on the brink of financial collapse, we aren’t so sure, so certain of our future. This is not because of decisions we’ve made, but atrocious and outrageous decisions made by our elected officials.

Then, their backing by the mainstream media of a political agenda being reported to the people, and not the truth. This is very worrying to me!

You know, I posted yesterday about, “Political Correctness Be Damned.” I talked about our elected leaders and our media declaring that “we the people,” need to be compassionate towards the poor and oppressed. We should want to help.

My first response to such an accusation is anger. Honestly, it angers me to no end. First off, this accusation is an out and out lie. But, so is the same accusation that I didn’t vote for Barack Hussein Obama because he was black, or basically that I’m a racist. This too is an out and out lie!

But…my point today is about wasting my hard earned money on…deadbeats! Yeah, I know, that’s a pretty harsh accusation in its own right, but it is the truth in many, many instances! I’m only calling it as I see it!

On top of this, the people passing out my hard earned money are incompetents! Incompetents…with no accountability in taking care of…my money and YOUR money!

Literally, there IS NO accountability! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m sick of this!

A few examples I Googled up this morning after seeing on our local news about more governmental program fraud through giveaways! Again, this is sickening, and outrageous in the simple fact…NO ONE is accountable!

First of all, taking, and that’s exactly what it is, but stealing is the more appropriate term, from one individual to GIVE, no less, to another individual!

It is…the buying of votes! Compassion plays no role in this conversation, yet, that’s exactly what we’re accused of…having no compassion for, quote, unquote, “the less fortunate!”

You want to talk about having NO compassion? How about the total destruction of a man or woman’s desire to better themselves, to grow and prosper, and to live the American Dream through a good, honest work ethic?

Are the teachings, or indoctrination of people that you’re ENTITLED to free food, free housing, free cell phones, free everything, a show of compassion? Of course it isn’t! Yet this is what our politicians have promised them!

This is THEIR idea of compassion, or what they have panned off on their constituents, AS compassion! They started in the inner cities, and now for decades have had these poor people under their thumb with the promise of even MORE “entitlements!”

Have these people’s lives been made more enjoyable on account of the giveaways? Just stop and look at the crime in these areas. Hell, the police won’t go into many of these areas, because of the crime. Violent crime! Yet our politicians consider themselves compassionate.

They, our powers that be, have destroyed these people’s souls through such blatant misuse of their power. They have not helped these people through compassion, they’ve ruined them. They’ve convinced them that you and I the taxpayer have cheated them out of their fair share.

Now today, these people don’t have the work ethic, the motivation, the desire, or the need to look for employment. They don’t have the gumption to go out, start a new business, and become productive themselves in our society.

In turn, by doing so, they’d be helping our Country to grow, stay strong, and maintain the freedoms we’ve always enjoyed!

Is this not sad? It is to me. To destroy a man’s soul is just got to be one of the greatest sins against God, against mankind, and against your own soul. Yet, it doesn’t seem to bother our officials in the least. Power, pure greed and influence is what this is about.

It’s so sad that their constituents either don’t have the intelligence to see this is only a scam, and that their elected officials have NO compassion for them in the least, or they’re so narrow minded they just frankly, don’t care!

You guys know also that to the media and many in power today we’re considered, as conservatives and many Independents, as racist. It baffles me that this is an accusation thrown our way, yet many, many people of color in power ,know the true agenda behind these give-aways yet endorse them fully.

I’m the racist here, according to the left, yet I could not condone for one second my KNOWINGLY hurting another individual’s right to work, raise their family, or better themselves!

Yet the ones calling for us to “have compassion, and to share in our good fortune,” are causing people to live deeper and deeper into poverty day by day.

Plus, by doing so, they too, through taxation, regulation, unionization, and theft, are burdening “we the people” with a financial obligation we cannot continue to sustain at the very same time. Killing two birds with one stone is a good analogy. This IS orchestrated, this is the plan, and this is our future, mark my word!

A couple examples…well, several examples of no accountability through give-away programs.

Understand this does not include governmental agencies such as the Postal Service, Am-trak, our politicians “golden” retirement plans, pensions, or health care. All which anymore are unwarranted, undeserved, and in reality are theft as well.

• Two Westbury women allegedly conspired with a child care provider to steal $4,988 from the welfare system when they signed attendance sheets indicating their children were attending taxpayer-funded day care during a period when their children were out of town or out of the country for more than a month.

• A 52-year-old Plainview woman and her husband allegedly failed to report their true income resulting in $33,618 in illegally obtained Medicaid benefits.

• A 56-year-old East Meadow man allegedly failed to disclose his true income and falsely stated that he was working part-time at a pizzeria in order to illegally qualify for $15,844 in Medicaid and Food Stamps benefits. A DSS investigation revealed that the pizzeria that the man reportedly worked for does not exist and that he is employed as an “executive chef” at an upscale restaurant.

Over about 20 months, Juma and two other men at his store scammed the food stamp program out of more than $857,000.

Is this incredible? Have you ever heard, or seen before such examples of incompetence? This is OUR money my friends?

Honestly this has to stop. This is not right to take from one and give to another. It is wrong! The examples above are just mere drops in the buckets of what goes on daily across our Country.

I WILL help my neighbor, my friend, my family. Hell, I’ve stopped before and helped people I had NO clue who, or what they, were. This is, through my own upbringing, the Christian thing to do. I don’t mind.

I DO mind the government first, falsely accusing me of being non-compassionate, even racist, if I disagree with them period. This too is a form of indoctrination of the very same people, once again, they are supposedly helping out…through these programs.

They are teaching them literally that what’s mine is also theirs, even to the extent of violence against the taxpayer, who in turn is funding their entitlement anyway. It’s not Obama, Pelosi, Reid, or even Romney or any other politico…it IS the taxpayer who funds this!

Yet, we the haves (what little Deb and I do have), are evil, corrupt, and greedy, according to the have-nots. All through their indoctrination by their own leaders that yes, this is true! Talking about putting “a spin” on things??

This has become so obviously a political ploy, or agenda, for continued political power, that in all honesty it is treason, pure and simple! It is!

Is not the undermining or destruction of a Democratic society, built upon and around a Constitution, a Bill of Rights, and the guaranteed freedoms of that Country’s citizens an act of treason? Of course it is. Yet this is exactly what is going on in our Country today! Open, arrogant, blatant political misuse of power! The destruction of our Country as we know it!

Interesting comments on governmental employee benefits, plus the giveaway programs. The comparison to Greece is interesting as well.

He also claims we can’t stop the giveaways (entitlements and pensions) on account of anarchy and violence in our streets. Where did this problem start? Politicians in their quest for buying the votes, their political power, and total control over “we the people.” All at our loss, and their gain!

We cannot sustain this. Personally, I would like to see these “entitlements” reigned in. I advocate help for our elderly, our handicapped, and our veterans. This I have no problem with.

Financial help for deadbeats (see above examples of fraud with our, the taxpayer monies), ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT entitlements (what is that all about in the first place), and “golden” government pensions…tossed in the trash! This once more is theft of our money, and in the bigger picture, the theft of our Country!!

As bad as I’d hate to see it, violence in the streets at this point, may be the ONLY solution we have to get these outrageous and unsustainable programs stopped. Terrible as this is to say, and honestly, I do not condone violence, BUT, I do not condone the destruction of our Country either.

This has to stop somewhere.

Today I’m gonna talk some about the state of our Country. To be honest with you all, I’m disappointed in our media, our educational system, our elected officials, and the road we’re being led down through a political agenda.

It is not the path intended by our Founding Fathers, our Constitution, or our rights as American citizens! It instead is an agenda being forced upon the good, law-abiding, hardworking, America loving, God fearing peoples of our Republic.

To be quite frank with you this morning, it is in fact a Revolution taking place within our Country. It is a Revolution pitting the haves versus the have-nots, the pitting of socialist agendas versus the capitalist identity of our Country, and the productive versus the non-productive.

It is a Revolution demanding that the very people that love our Country, and everything it stands for versus far too many that in reality have NO RIGHT of being in our Country to begin with…the ones who come here…illegally!

Through such policy being advocated by our elected officials, which by the way costs us hundreds of billions of dollars yearly, this too takes money, hard earned money I might add, from the mouths of our own children to support people who never should have been here in the first place!

Before I go further into this, let me state loud and clear that I do support immigration BUT, with a catch…Legal immigration! Is that too much to ask? Hell no, not by a long shot! But our “elected elite” find this appalling.

Where is my compassion for these poor oppressed people they like to ask? Well, in all honesty, it left about 14 trillion dollars worth of National debt run up by these very same “elected elite!” The compassionate!

These very same “elected elite,” who question my own morals and judgment on this issue, through MY LACK of compassion!

They’ve spent us into a mountain of debt that I find totally without ANY morals or judgment, or regard for me, my family, my friends, my neighbors, or our Country as a whole. YET, I’m considered immoral? Please, give me a break here guys.

We’re locked in, at this very moment, a Revolution of class warfare, racial divide, redistribution of our wealth, and our love of…God and Country! Our “elected elite” understand this word “revolution,” quite clearly. It is…their agenda!

Their goal is quite simple. It is literally the destruction of our freedoms and liberties. They, being the powers that be, have sold us out. Yet, they speak freely of…compassion!

The only type of compassion they recognize, or understand, is compassion for…themselves! They could care less about you and yours. It is only about them. This word, compassion, is only thrown around by them in their quest of continued power. Not yours or mine, but their own.

This is entirely nothing but the “elected elite,” buying votes! Through this buying of votes, they are attempting to, and doing a very good job of it I hate to admit, are increasing their stranglehold of power over “We the People!”

Things don’t go their way, no worries, they just enact more laws…laws that benefit THEM and their cohorts, once more not you or I, NOR their own constituents. This is what really gets under my skin.
Through our incomplete teachings of our educational system, they are, and have been dumbing us down. Do we teach the prosperity of a free enterprise system? Nope!

What we do teach, through our liberally minded “educators,” is the moral standards of…social justice. In this regard, I consider our children attending the public school system today receiving a half and education. The half the believers in socialist ideology want them taught.

Capitalism is wrong! Free enterprise is wrong! The choice between working your tail off to better the futures for you and your children is wrong! This is nothing but greed to hear our “elected elite” tell it. A Southern interpretation of this is simply, “the pot calling the kettle black!” Uh-oh, did I just utter a racist taunt??

What is social justice? Well, it is in fact a term coined by our elite, and dedicated to the bringing about of the belief that we should all share together in whatever we feel we should share in. Our First Lady describes it as the oppressed wanting their fair share of the pie too!

Their fair share?

When you contribute absolutely nothing…what is, or possibly could be, your fair share? To me, the answer to this question, as asinine as it is to begin with, is quite simple, NOTHING! Your contributing nothing warrants without question, that you receive in nothing in return!

BUT, our “elected elite,” cry out, “WHAT?? You don’t care about these poor oppressed people? My goodness…where’s your compassion?”

There’s that word again, once more spoken by the very same people that are destroying our way of life, our way of having the opportunity to create jobs, to start a small business, and basically live “The American Dream!”

All being shattered by a political agenda that we, for some reason or other, feel no need to intervene in. “We the People,” are literally funding our own demise!

Now, I don’t know about you guys, but how could we be considered as the “in-compassionate?” It seems to me we have jumped overboard with our degree of compassion, and in all honesty, we’ve become too compassionate for our own good, and far too complacent to boot!

The “elected elite,” realize this and keep shoving more and more governmental regulation and CONTROL down our throats! Are we ever going to get to the point where “We the People” have had enough?

Do we continue to “cower down,” and let our “elected elite” just run roughshod over us? Do we continue to let them take from us and our children to sustain people who have no concept of going to work? Not only no concept, but no desire. Why would they, shoot, we OWE it to them, just look at the teachings of social justice!

We’re headed down an awful tough road to hoe my friends. Our belief in our Country, our belief in God, our belief in individuality, our belief in the American Dream, and our belief that we have unalienable rights are all being trampled upon by a government, a media, and an educational system in our Country gone wrong!

Take a look around, read the papers, watch the tube. Does any of this resemble what our Nation was REALLY intended to be like? Of course not.

Look at socialism around the globe…does it work? Take Europe as just a quick example. They KNOW (the ones with any semblance of brains anyway), that they must cut spending, cut pensions, cut the giveaways, and actually…get back into the REAL WORLD!

BUT, look at the riots, the protests, the looting, etc., all because they’d been indoctrinated that they are…entitled! WHAT, no money?? Well, then take it from the rich!

We are living in an upside down world. Today people have become indoctrinated that wrong is right! Is taking from a productive member of society, then giving it to a non-productive member of society right?

It is if you’re an elected official.

By doling out mere pennies to their bought and paid for constituents, in regards to what a person COULD do in this great Country of ours IF they’d only put their nose to the grindstone, set and achieve goals, and be willing to work from daylight to dark while you build your small business, they too could live the American Dream!

But nope, they have been taught to sell themselves and their own children and grandchildren for just enough government handouts…to exist! That’s all!

So, we see quite clearly that our elected elite have got this all figured out. They want you to exist, that’s all! Through your just existing, barely making ends meet off their pittance of individual handouts, you end up seeing firsthand what social justice in the end will be…social equality for you, along with everyone else, while the elected elites live the lifestyle of kings!

Why would this happen? Two reasons mainly.

The ignorance of their bought and paid for constituents, for even remotely believing the powers that be really give a hoot in hell for them in the first place, and once again, their ignorance in fiscal responsibility for even considering the taxpayer could continue bearing the brunt of such “entitlement programs” and sustain them indefinitely! The well WILL run dry!

Actually the well IS dry, but once more, our elected leaders throw us under the bus by printing more money, spending money by the truckload, and borrow, borrow, borrow! Who can even imagine what our daily interest must be??

But the second reason for such social justice or social equality, becoming rule of law in our Country is “We the People!”

We see what our leaders are doing to us. We see the direction they’re taking our Country. We see the freedoms and liberties we enjoy as Americans growing less and less. We see firsthand the MASSIVE debt they’ve burdened our children and grandchildren with.

We see the destruction of our workplace, our opportunity for good jobs, and our children getting the type of good solid education they deserve, not ideologies pressed upon them through political agendas!

We see the good, law-abiding citizen, the believers in our Constitution, and the very people who love God, family, and Country now labeled, and quite openly as well, as racist, hatemongering, extremist, ignorant, Nazi, redneck troublemakers.

Yet…we sit on our rumps. Take a page from the left playbook…organize, mobilize, and demand YOUR OWN rights. Stop with the political correctness, and just start living correctly. Maybe the time has come to stop with all the compassion, and start showing some contempt while taking our Country back!

Wrong is NOT right, but as long as we let them continue to do wrong, but tell us it’s right, nothing will ever change…it’ll only continue to get worse. Make these people accountable for their actions. They’re the power, BUT true power comes from…”WE the PEOPLE!” Start acting like it!

OBAMA’S SELECTIVE MEMORY OF SUPREME COURT HISTORY…….”Ultimately, I am confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress. And I’d just remind a conservative commentator that for years what we have heard is, the biggest problem on the bench was judicial activism or lack of judicial restraint, that an unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law. Well, this is a good example, and I am confident that this Court will recognize that and not take that step.” (April 2, 2012)

“Let me be very specific. We have not seen a Court overturn a law that was passed by Congress on an economic issue, like health care, that I think most people clearly consider commerce – a law like this has not been overturned at least since the 30’s, pre-New deal.” “And the point I was making is that the Supreme Court is the final say on our Constitution and our laws, and all of us have to respect it, but it’s precisely because of that extraordinary power the Court has traditionally exercised significant restraint and deference to our duly elected legislature, our Congress. And the sole burden is on those who would overturn a law like this.” (Obama, clarifying comments he made the previous day, April 3)

President Obama made these remarks during a series of a high-profile news conference, taking the unusual step of commenting on a Supreme Court case, the challenge to the Affordable Care Act, while the justices were still deliberating.

YOU WILL NOT FIND IN THE CONSTITUTION………..Judge Harvie Wilkinson, a Reagan appointee to the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, is a courtly Virginian who conveys a manner as soft as a Shenandoah breeze. He has written a book, Why Americans are Losing Their Inalienable Rights to self-Government, in which he takes on issues of the Constitution, pro and con. I wish to quote parts of his thoughts: “The Constitution is a companion of the Declaration of Independence, and should be construed as an implementation of the Declaration’s premises, Government exists not to confer rights but to secure pre-existing rights…The constitution is a Document, one understood, as America’s greatest jurist, John Marshall, said, chiefly from its words. And those words are to be construed in the bright light cast by the Declaration. [Wilkinson] worries] about judges causing an ever increasing displacement of democracy. Also most worrisome, is the displacement of liberty by democracy in the form of majorities indifferent to or hostile to what the Declaration decrees, a separate sphere of individual sovereignty.”

ANOTHER GOVERNMENT REGULATION?…….While typing the above, I heard an announcement over the TV, that the government was contemplating a regulation as to “what farmers’ kids can or cannot do, even to the limit as to how many square feet of grass can be cut. There were additional examples which I cannot remember, but I am sure there will be some news coverage……..What we need is Buck Rogers and his robots.

DISHONESTY OBAMA STOCK IN TRADE……While dishonesty is aberrant to most Americans, for Obama it is a finely tuned art form. He has been practicing it from day one. From his empty promises of civility, transparency and uniting America, to the way he finagled the cost of Obama Care, he has divided the country and constantly demagogues’ dissenters. His latest masterpiece occurred in Cushing, Oklahoma, where he attempted to create the illusion that he is NOW FOR the Keystone Pipeline, a project he just recently vetoed and lobbied against. He blithely announced that he was “fast tracking” one small portion of this pipeline, from Cushing to the Gulf Coast, knowing full well that this was already a done deal despite his administration doing everything it can to delay the actual work… It is a sorry attempt to woo almost 70% of Americans who favor the entire pipeline, and to deflect attention from the now $4/gallon gas price and his failed energy projects.

He likes to claim we need to create alternative energy because we only have 2%, or 2.2 million barrels, of the world’s oil. Yet his own Department of Energy says we really have 1.6 trillion barrels of recoverable oil; not counting for our abundance of gas, we have enough oil for at least 200 years. The “kicker” to all these misleading STATEMENTS is that our liberal media allow the Obama Administration to get away with not informing the public of the real facts. The media is more interested in helping Obama get re-elected than “constantly “reporting the facts.” Hard to tell who is more dishonest, the President or the media.

FAREWELL TO THE NEW FRONTIER……..As the space shuttle Discovery flew three time around Washington, a final salute before landing at Dulles airport for retirement to a museum, thousands on the ground gazed upward with marvel and pride. Yet what they were witnessing, for all its elegance, was a funeral march. The shuttle was being carried because it can no longer fly. Its pallbearer was a 747. The pity is not Discover’s retirement, beautiful as it was. The shuttle proved it was too expensive and too risky to operate; the pity is it died without a successor. The planned follow up; the Constellation rocket capsule programmed to take humans back into orbit and from there to the moon, was suddenly cancelled in 2010. And with that, control of manned space flight was gratuitously ceded to Russia and China. Who cares, you say, when we are in economic distress? But if we are talking jobs and growth, science, and technology, R&D and innovation, what Obama insists are the keys to “an economy built to last”, why on earth cancel an incomparable, sophisticated, uniquely American technological enterprise?

Neil Armstrong, James Lovell and Gene Cernan are deeply skeptical. In a 2010 open letter, they called Obama’s cancellation of Constellation a “devastating decision that destines our nation to become one of the second or third rate nations.” This is why museum visits to the embalmed Discovery will be sad, indeed. America rarely retreats from new frontiers, yet today we cannot even do what John Glenn did in 1962, let alone fly a circa-1980 shuttle. ……….Discovery will lie intact, a magnificent and melancholy rebuke to constricted horizons. OUR DO NOTHING CONGRESS……..Any suggestion of doing something positive about the conditions of our country get nowhere, as every elected person is afraid to step forward in fear that it may cost him/her a vote in the coming election………without a scandal or two, they are sitting, watching the clock and the debt numbers….why in hell don’t they take the time they are wasting, go fishing, without pay of course……..OH, SURE!!!!!!

TREASURY’S RUN AROUND DeMARCO, TAPPING TARP TO PAY FANNIE MAE FOR ANOTHER HOUSING BAILOUT……….If you can’t roll over Ed DeMarco, run around him. That is the latest ploy of Obama’s as he tries to arrange one more election-year housing bailout. Mr. DeMarco is the career civil servant who drew the “short straw” and ended up as the acting chief of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) which oversees Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. He is legally bound to balance three priorities: preserve and conserve Fan &Fred’s assets to protect the taxpayers, keep the institutions running while Congress figures what to do next, and to maximize assistance to homeowners to minimize foreclosure. The last imperative isn’t supposed to come at the expense of the other two.

But don’t tell that to the Obama Administration, which has been hounding Mr. DeMarco to unleash Fan and Fred to write down principals on millions of home mortgages. DeMarco has resisted on grounds that it would hurt taxpayers. For this effrontery, Democrats in Congress have tried to get DeMarco ”fired”, and even New York Federal Reserve Chief, Bill Dudley, has lectured his fellow regulator to get with the Obama program. Treasury Secretary Geithner joined the pressure campaign, telling the Senate there is a strong economic case for write-downs in some cases because they “might increase the overall recovery of the investor and the tax payer.”

Since Mr. DeMarco won’t budge, Treasury is now proposing an offer they believe he cannot refuse. The Administration wants to take a chunk of the $20.9 billion leftover TARP funds and use it to subsidize mortgage write downs through its Home Affordable Modification Program. About 80% of borrowers with Fannie and Freddie backed loans are under water, with a home worth less than the mortgage, but who still make their monthly payments. Why should taxpayers subsidize people who can afford to pay? And what happens to those who aren’t current, and receive subsidized money? My guess is that the home owner who is paying might stop, knowing that the government will reduce their debt. Contrary to the administration’s guess, Mr. DeMarco told Congress he would consider principal reduction, “if funds become available” to make up for the losses incurred by Fred and Fannie. Instead of using TARP money to reduce the $1.3 trillion federal deficit, Mr. Geithner now wants to hand it to FHFA so Mr. DeMarco can’t object to principal write downs. Thus even as Mr. DeMarco protects taxpayers from losses at Fred and Fannie, Treasury picks the taxpayers’ pockets through TARP. Treasury and President Obama get their election year bailout without having to fire DeMarco.

VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN ACT, AS A POLITICAL TALKING POINT……….Left wingers need to preserve the talking point that the Right hates women. The Violence against Women Act, now pending reauthorization in the U.S. Senate, offers a great example how liberals use political “kabuki” to keep the myth alive. The bill is fundamentally flawed and fully deserving of rejection. As the Washington Post reports, “Democrats see the debate over the bill and potential amendments as an opening to continue accusing Republicans of waging war on women’s rights.” In recent weeks the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee has used the issue, including the 11 Democratic women running in the Senate races this year, to raise money from supporters. The NY Times reports, that Republican Senator Murkowski has urged Republicans to surrender on this issue. No one disputes that violence against women is a problem, and one that has to be addressed by law enforcement. But crimes of violence are meat and potatoes issues for state and local enforcement, and Our Founders had set up the Republic with that idea in mind…….James Madison wrote in the, “ Federalist 45 that the powers of the federal government are limited and the powers remaining in the state are numerous.”

The Heritage Foundation notes, “That despite the fact that each state has its own statutes that punish domestic violence, the federal government intervened in 1994 with the Violence against Women Act. The President AND Congress may feel better by passing this law, but the federal government is not supposed to waste federal resources on issues more properly dealt with by the state and local governments.” The pending legislation before the Senate, S1925, vastly increases the rights of the federal government, which in turn creates another subject to dispute, and the liberals have loaded this bill with provisions meant to bait conservatives’ politicians.

What we need is more women in Congress, there are many, many well qualified women in business and politics that have to rise to the top, our country needs the balance of a Margret Thatcher, Eleanor Roosevelt, Golda Meier, Meg Whitman, Sarah Palin, Carly Florina, Jeanne Fitzpatrick and many more………I would be amiss if I didn’t include part of a Mark Twain’s speech on “Votes for Women”…”I should like to see the time come when women shall help make the laws. I should like to see that whip-lash, the ballot, in the hands of women. As for this city’s government, I don’t want to say much, except that it is a shame-a-shames: but if I should live twenty five years longer, and there is no reason why I shouldn’t, I think I shall see the women handle the ballot. If women had the ballot to-day, the state of things in this town would not exist. If all the women in this town had a vote to-day they would elect a mayor at the next election, and they would rise in their might and change the awful state now existing here”

Originally I was going to use this space for “comments from our readers”, but I have been reading about one of the government’s “scams” that has my blood boiling, that needs attention……..FRESHMAN CLASS PRESIDENT…Obama (and Congress) rocks the youth vote by soaking the taxpayers……..This past week the President toured college campuses in state critical to his re-election. And thanks to an aggressive interpretation of Federal law, it now seems that both parties are trying to get around this law. The obvious political play is to shore up support among the college-age voters who are faced with an increase on their loans, from 3.4% to 6.8%, starting in July 1, 2012, which amounts to about $6 billion dollars, which both parties would like to freeze for one year, which Obama suggests raising taxes to cover the “freeze” ( It took me several years to pay off the loans that helped two of my children’s education) and now the taxpayers are faced with a TRILLION DOLLAR DEBT, TO PAY OFF OTHER CHILDREN’S EDUCATION DEBT.. The real beneficiaries are ten colleges, whose fees have risen with the increase in the student body, and the prompt payment by the government for the benefit of the student.

The interest rate sounds serious; after all there are 39 million Americans with student loans, which the student made voluntary taking on as an investment to benefit themselves. Federally subsidized loans are handed out to millions of college students regardless of risk. Thanks to taxpayer backing the loans are far below what private lenders would offer. When the student can’t afford to pay, the American people are stuck with the bill. Bankruptcy laws should be reviewed, perhaps like a home mortgage, spread over 25 /39 years, since bankruptcy not available to discharge a student loan. There are about 18 million students enrolled in about 5,000 colleges and universities, and when one checks, he will find that the colleges and universities have determinate badly, when graduation finally arrives, an unacceptable amount of students have actually learned very little, find themselves unable to find a job and yet find themselves trapped in a student “debt loan debt hell” for sensually for the rest of their lives. A debt total that exceeds the credit card debt, automobile loans, except the home owners mortgage.

Finally closure time, all above may be very confusing, which can happened when one is pissed, and I am PISSED……The scam was that the government promoted an education for everyone who could walk, talk and chew gum at the same time, and there were far too many that had boom boxes, cell phones and a lack of ambition, relying that the government will pay for their tuition, and like many of our “projects”, payback time is not in their vocabulary, including those in government who forgot the rules, just as long as the “student” could sign his name on the ballot box. Anxious to see how this matter is discharged, before Election Day, I am sure…………TERM LIMITS, TERM LIMITS, TERM LIMITS!! UNLESS YOU ARE HAPPY WITH A $16 TRILLION DEBT AND COUNTING…….

Once more, I find myself torn in regards to our Country today. Again, Deb and I would like nothing better than to talk about gardening, canning food, tell a few jokes, and in general just keep a big smile on our faces about 90% of the time.

But, I have to ask each of you today…where, when, and how did our Country “jump its tracks?”

How did the term “Merry Christmas” become offensive? How did we lose our industrial might? How did the act of disciplining your OWN child, by the way, become a crime, and an act to not be tolerated by our, “lawmakers?”

Again, I’m not talking abuse, I’m merely speaking of disciplining YOUR child…NOT THEIRS!

Today, it seems that teaching our children at home the values of morals, character, honesty, a work ethic, and respect, not just for themselves, but others as well, is wrong.

Oh, I don’t want to leave out religious values as well! Man, oh man, I AM treading on thin ice this morning, huh? The audacity of me to speak of religious freedom! At the mention of such, I’m probably labeled an extremist by our administration!

Good night…I better start showing a little restraint in speaking on such topics! A belief in God?? Honestly, I don’t know what came over me?? If I offended anyone, please…forgive me! Yeah right!

Who decides all this? Our elected leaders pushing THEIR agendas and ideology, of course!

Yeah, you know, the very same people who literally exude such qualities, and practice them daily…morals, ethics, virtue, respect, and probably their strongest trait would obviously have to be…HONESTY!

WHAT?? You don’t believe for one minute my last statement?

Good for you. I see you’ve not bought into their agendas, or their indoctrinations of our Country’s citizens, through their “fight for the poor and oppressed,” as they like to call it!

Through the buying of your votes, they offer you…an existence, that’s it. The opportunity to supply you with JUST enough to keep you…alive. YET, they ARE the great crusaders of the poor!

They’re the great crusaders alright, though the only crusading they’re doing is crusading for the destruction of our Country as we know it, and leading us down the path of economic ruin, religious blasphemy, and the takeover of our society as a whole!

This people…is social justice or social equality. When they’ve taken away our freedoms, our jobs, our religious values, and our family unit, THIS…is social justice!

To the people who don’t understand this, redistribution of wealth is not that at all. It is…the redistribution of…P-O-V-E-R-T-Y!

OUR poverty, and our leaders P-O-W-E-R! Total control!

Control over our assets, our freedoms, our children, our ability to make and earn a living, our religion, and our living in the greatest Country on this earth…gone… kaput!

How is all this SO difficult for others to see? This amazes me! The very selling of your souls through accepting a mere pittance to what type of life you COULD provide for your family through a good, solid work ethic. The sky literally being the limit to what you COULD do, IF, you’d only apply yourself.

The worst part of this to me in regards to these types of people? The selling of their OWN children’s souls as well. Those poor guys will never experience any type of lifestyle than one of…poverty. Sold out by…their own parents, for God’s sake.

As a child, your whole being is shaped by your surroundings. If you’ve been taught the traits I listed above, value, respect, etc., 9 times out of 10, you stand a very good chance of being successful in your own right.

BUT, if you’ve not been taught, or brought up in that type of environment, but one in which you have been indoctrinated that you SHOULD and WILL, get a check every month, then that’s what you’ll accomplish in life. The ability to walk to the mailbox, take out “Your Entitlement,” and that’s about it.

Your contribution to your Country and society…absolutely nothing! Then, when the money runs out, AND IT WILL, you go to the mailbox and…NO CHECK! Well what happened?? WHERE’S MY CHECK? I WANT MY CHECK!

Sorry, because now, through YOUR burdening the taxpayer, our governments uncontrollable spending, and our politicians belief that they too are “ENTITLED, and ABOVE” the law, AND we the people, our dollar has finally tanked!

NO MORE FREE MONEY, no more money period. No more entitlements, except for the truly entitled…the powers that be! Our leaders will have in fact brought you down to the level of…TRUE SOCIAL JUSTICE, or EQUALITY!

Our leaders will have accomplished their goal. They will have become…the power, and through this power, they will now be very rich, excessively rich, and all the very things they told you they were against, and what made America evil! They were looking out for YOU!

So you’ll soon see it wasn’t about big business, Wall Street, or the greed and corruption of the capitalist system.

Yes, IT WAS about greed and corruption, but the greed and power of our politicians own corruption, and their destroying our economic system through taxation, government regulation, and unionization.

It is coming to us people, if we don’t snap out of this funk DC has lulled us into. Honestly my friends, do you REALLY believe that what your friend or neighbor has worked, and slaved for to better his own way of life is part yours too?

How and what, could possibly convince you of that? I know, I know, this has been taught to you through our politicians, but search your own souls, I mean seriously, you HAVE to see this is wrong, don’t you? If not, then put in into another perspective for a moment.

What if Deb and I showed up on YOUR doorstep the day you receive your “entitlement check?” What if we demanded that you give part of your check to us? Would you? Would our demand for “our part” anger you? Why?

Would our getting part of your “entitlement” cut you short in purchasing the things you and your own family need? Is that right of us in doing so? Of course not.

You can’t find a job? How come? You think it just MIGHT be the fault of your leaders whom you vote for, time and again, and their agenda in not supplying jobs to Americans, but getting more and more Americans onto government aid?

So in reality, the loss of our jobs here in the US, and OUR jobs going overseas, is once again, not because of capitalism as they lead you to believe, but simply because of THEIR OWN GREED. Actually, they couldn’t give a “hoot in he..,” for you, or your family. It is ALL about them!

Please, wake up America…the time is fast approaching when yes, it will be too late to set things right. Vote this year, not with your “what will I get out of this mentality,” but with…your heart! Let’s take our Country back. Let’s hold not one party accountable…let’s hold ALL parties accountable!

DICK CLARK DIES AT THE AGE OF 82……..Dick Clark might have been Hollywood’s shrewdest business man, but for many Americans his lesser known role as a stroke survivor determined to live a normal life likely will be a more lasting legacy. This Entertainment ICON became a hero to all stroke victims. He had a debilitating stroke in 2004, and had to learn how to talk and walk again….often with great difficulty. Some people thought this was in bad taste. “This New Year was to be a celebration. I don’t want to see someone in that condition.“ So said the Director of the Blier Center for Television at Syracuse University. Dr. Larry Goldstein of Duke University said Dick was a teaching tool for stroke victims. He missed the 2004 New Year’s celebration, but was back for the 2005 celebration, along with is appointed heir apparent, Ryan Seacrest.

Evening news is when they start off with good evening, then proceed to tell you why it isn’t.

THE HMS TITANIC SANK 100 YEARS AGO THIS PAST APRIL 10th, MOST AMERICANS AND THOSE OF THE BRITISH SEA WORLD REMEMBER THIS TRAGEDY. On its maiden voyage the ship that was supposed to be unsinkable struck an iceberg in the North Atlantic. Over 1,500 people died; most records indicate that only those 712 who were in lifeboats survived. They survived because of a heroic captain and crew who were hours away from the point where the Titanic went down. The story about the rescue ship and its crew is one that I never knew about. Once I read it, the event became so courageous. The millions of people who have seen the movie would be interested in the event that took place when a startling message was received by the RMS Carpathian’s only radio operator, Harold Coltam, who had been working longer than his normal shift: “SOS Titanic calling. We have struck ice and request immediate assistance.” The Carpathian’s first officer burst into Captain Arthur Rostrum’s cabin, who had just retired for the night. In seconds Rostrum was in the chart room, plotting a course to race to the side of the stricken Titanic. Normally, Carpathian could make 14 knots; by diverting every particle of steam, it might make 17 knots, and even so it would take hours to catch up. Rostrum ordered the crew to prepare to receive passengers from the Titanic. It was important that the Carpathian’s 700 passengers would not panic when they were sent to various cabins, and to try to keep warm as possible. If the orders given by Captain Rostrum were not carried out, the Titanic disaster could have ended more tragically. But it didn’t. The 712 Titanic passengers in the life boats were all saved; all those seamen with life jackets were dead. Had those in the life boats been exposed to the frigid weather for another hour they, too, would have perished. Captain Rostrum received the Gold Congressional Medal from a grateful America. Home in England he was knighted.

Larry Sabato, director of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, told a group, “When you have two parties so divergent in views, regions, and genders, the culture wars could escalate from conventional to nuclear weapons.”…..Signs of the changing times, for the good, or not, for the future of the United States?

The Democrats will be spending time and money talking about Bush, “in his self-imposed political exile.” They continue to promote Roosevelt’s jobs creation that went from 24% unemployed to near zero at the height of the war……………..Watch out Democrats, Obama’s job record is the worse in history, based on his programs, will probably continue, compounded by the huge spending and debt programs, without any signs of improving, unless one believes his “lies“, and there is a new one every day the sun rises.

A STABLE AFGhANISTAN IS STILL POSSIBLE [are you kidding?...ed.]…………There is no easy victory in sight in Afghanistan, but we are closer to accomplishing our goals than many assume. By late 2014, it will no longer be necessary to keep significant numbers of combat troops there. The good news is that the Obama appears unlikely to waiver any time soon. (Now, that is refreshing news.) U.S. officials have declared that no further drawdowns are anticipated until the current one which will bring U.S. troops down to 68,000 from 100,000 by the end of September. In particular, we must see what develops in the east, where this year’s anti-insurgency efforts will most likely occur. However, this is a political year; a steady White House should not be assumed to last indefinitely into the future. There is no question that NATO and the Afghan governments have plenty of problems, with the Taliban still hanging around. President Karzai’s government is a corrupt puppet that will fail once the NATO troops depart. Mr. Karzai is still a problem. We cannot afford a repeat of 2009 undemocratic presidential election; Mr. Obama’s handling this situation was his biggest mistake in “his” war, to date. If we had no business being in IRAQ, we should be mad as hell over why we are in this s—t hole of a country that has fought the Russians to a standstill for over 10 years.

OBAMA’S SUPER-CZAR IS ON THE LOOSE…………in keeping with the dark and defiant habits of this administration, the new head of the half-billion dollar Consumer Financial Protection Bureau was sworn in behind closed doors. The nomination of former Democrat Ohio Attorney General Richard Cordray to serve as Dodd-Frank regularity enforcer had been soundly beaten in the Senate just before Christmas. As reported by Michelle Malkin last month, progressive zealots funded by George Soros goaded Obama to ignore the Senate’s constitutional grounded advice and consent role. The GOP knew in advance what Obama planned on doing a month ago, and is now scrambling to respond. Republicans will get clobbered with the class warfare card again, unless they forcefully counter the Democrat’s narrative of the President’s “bold action for middle class Americans.” As Senate Republicans have been pointing out for months, Dodd-Frank threw out judicial review, removed CFPB from the congressional appropriations process, provided five-year tenure protection for the director, and transferred the Agency from the Treasury Department to the opaque and unaccountable Federal Reserve. This maneuver is about consolidating bureaucratic authority and granting unprecedented immunity to a single Super-Cop from congressional and public oversight.

REID ELECT MITT ROMNEY?…………..Will the Senate Democrats’ leader, a Mormon as is Romney, be the inadvertent shield for the religious bigotry card liberals, in particular MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell, who are itching to turn it into the ultimate election weapon?…….Unbelievable as you would think it to be, MSNBC has now seen another of its hosts ramp up on religious bigotry…O’Donnell is on a tear about Romney’s Mormon faith…not Harry Reid’s Mormon faith, just Romney’s. Do the two men belong to the same Mormon faith? Doubtless it is because Reid’s membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is largely unknown to the American electorate. An electorate that is about to have Romney’s membership in the very same Mormon faith as Reid’s, the man the Democrats have repeatedly chosen to be the U.S. Senate Majority Leader, will have his faith thrown in his face as a reason not to elect a President Romney. O’Donnell has raised the obvious question: if Harry Reid belonged to a racially exclusive club [note: the Mormon Church did not admit other races until Reid was 39 years old], why in the world has this man been elected by the Democrats to be their leader in the United States Senate?

JACKIE ROBINSON DAY IS CELEBRATED EVERY YEAR ON APRIL 15……….Players, managers, umpires all wore No. 42 on their uniforms, which were duplicates of those worn 65 years ago, a date when the future Hall of Famer first appeared as the second baseman for the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1947. This celebration was conducted in every ball park in the country. HOLDER PUSHES DISCRIMINATION NOW, DISCRIMINATION FOREVER…………. At the National Review, columnist John Fund, blasted Attorney General Eric Holder for advocating permanent racial disclosure in favor of black Americans. Last month in an appearance at Columbia University, his alma mater, Holder said,” I Can’t imagine a time in which the need for more diversity would ever cease. Affirmative action has been an issue since segregation practices, “he declared. “The question is not when it ends, but when it begins. When do the people of color truly get the benefits to which they are entitled. But we have an Attorney General of the United States say that force of government must be used, forever, to enshrine into law that was once used to be “called reverse discrimination,” is for him to say that American law will always put skin color above other considerations—and pick winners accordingly.

OBAMA DOCTRINE FAILURE…………Three years ago, President Obama set forth to recast American foreign policy in an image of his own design. It was one in which the White House engaged with enemies and undercut allies, apologized for American exceptionalism, and favored the “soft power” of treaties and international organizations. The “Obama Doctrine” was tailor made to burnish America’s supposedly flagging reputation on the world stage. Today we are seeing the disastrous results of a doctrine gone wrong………..Beginning in IRAN, Obama sought to engage a regime led by a man who has openly called for the destruction of Israel. Ahmadinejad was not mollified by the President’s charm offensive, and now, even in the face of escalating sanctions, Iran is ratcheting up its rhetoric, threatening to cut off a quarter of the world’s energy supply and marching towards a nuclear war.

……SYRIA, is another example of Obama Doctrine failure. The President entering office hoping the hostile regime of Bushar al-Assad, and soft-pedaled it’s criticism of Assad’s violent crackdown on anti-government protesters. The Result? Syria ordered the attack on the U.S. Embassy in Damascus, threatened the U.S. ambassador, and to date has killed more than 10,000 Syrians who are standing against the autocratic government…………..In EGYPT the President hesitated when the people called for Hoshi Burbank’s ouster, but wound up supporting the overthrow at the end. Now, though, the Muslim Brotherhood is within inches of grasping power, the country’s peace treaty with Israel is being questioned, and anti-pro-democracy American workers are facing criminal trials………….In Afghanistan, the President has insisted in on a speedy withdrawal of American forces, while”persuing negotiations with the TALIBAN….a veritable enemy that launched attacks against American troops.

In the midst of this tinder box, anti-American protests are flaming after an apparent burning of Korans at a U.S. military base. The President, once again issued an apology, yet the Taliban is calling for retaliation against the United States this is the same Taliban that Vice President Biden said “is not our enemy.”…………IRAQ ,too ,has devolved into violence following the President’s decision to withdraw all troops. In that short period of time, the country has witnessed ongoing insurgent attacks, a mushrooming political crisis, and the threat of civil war, which would aid neighboring IRAN.

Rather than pursuing the ill-advised Obama Doctrine, with a underfunded military, it is time for the President to put defending America first and appeasing and our enemies last. THAT IS A DOCTRINE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE CAN RELY ON……..

THE TRUTH BEHIND OIL SUBSIDIES………….It’s easy to Take shots at oil companies, especially when oil prices are rising over $4 per gallon. Playing the role of DAVID against the enormous corporate GIANT is a way to score political points, so it is no wonder that president Obama and liberals in Congress, have issued a call for the end of oil subsidies as a way of wrecking revenge against these they say are responsible for the high cost of energy…

The lefts anti-subsidy rhetoric is right on. Ending all energy subsidies, including those for oil and gas, would be good for all American taxpayers and consumers. If those Senators were truly serious about cutting the deficit, they would also call for the elevation of the president’s pet projects, such as projects on renewable fuels, electric vehicles, wind and solar, throw in clean coal and natural gas, too. That would be the right move for the taxpayers, but that is not their goal—-vilifying an industry is their end game. There is much the President and Congress could do if they wanted to give Americans a break at the gas pumps. For starters, they could provide access to our country’s domestic energy reserves, roll back regulatory burdens on companies, and lift the de facto moratorium on off shore drilling permits. This move will not cure our energy problems, but would surely ease the immediate pain.

DEATH OF NATION BY 1,000 CUTS…………” CREEPING NORMALCY” describes a method of accomplishing major change by making negative changes slowly in small increments, not always seen as objectionable, until the entire concept of rule is irreversibly altered. Such was the method used by Marxists in converting Russia to a communist dictatorship, and Adolf Hitler’s conversion of Germany to a fascist dictatorship.

America’s democratic form of government is under attack. Presidents and others in authority have been practicing it for years, gaining momentum with Franklin Roosevelt during the Great Depression. The current government has brought the attack to a new, accelerating and frightening level. The Obama administration, assuming authority not given by our Constitution, is telling us, what we can eat, what insurance we should buy, it is by-passing Congress by making illegal appointments, telling Boeing where they can build, and the latest, telling religious organizations it must give up practices it has used for centuries—-an outright violation of the First Amendment of the Constitution. Congress seems to turning a blind eye to these acts, apparently unwilling to challenge them.

THE “JEWISH” PRESIDENT……….don’t believe Obama when he says he as Israel’s back………………………..Should ISRAELIS and pro- Americans take Obama’s word when he said, “I have Israel’s back”? NO !………Here is a president who fought tooth and nail against the very sanctions on Iran for which he now seeks to reap political credit. He inherited from the Bush administration the security assistance to Israel he now advertises as proof his “unprecedented” commitment to the Jewish State. His Defense secretary has repeatedly cast doubt on the possibility of a U.S.Military action against Iran. His Secretary of State, answering a question from a Tunisian” student about “U.S. lobbyists courting the “Zionist lobbies” by saying “a lot of things are said during an election year that should not bear a lot to attention.”. In Obama’s growing period, a Chicago rabbi named Wolf, who in 1909 Waged in the synagogue, staged a rally protest in favor of Black Panther Bobby Seale, in the early 1990’s, Wolf denounced the construction of the Holocaust Museum in Washington. In1996, the rabbi was of Obama’s earliest and most prominent supporters when Obama ran for the Illinois state Senate. Wolf later described Obama’s views on Israel as “In line of “PEACE NOW” an organization with a long history of blaming Israel for the Arab-Israel conflict.

Obama had other Jewish mentors, one was Betty Saltzman, who still seethes with hostility toward the mainstream Jewish groups, and later became active in left-wing Jewish political groups like “J STREET. It was she who organized the rally against the IRAQ WAR where Obama proclaimed is opposition to an American invasion. Ms. Saltzman introduced Obama to David Axelrod, who became Obama’s advisor and political organizer. He was instrumental, in bringing longtime diplomat Denis Ross, which was Obama’s inoculation strategy to modify Jewish voters who might be apprehensive about Obama’s sincerity of his commitment to Israel. Not surprising Mr. Ross became a short term member of the Obama team.

The important question is about the Obama’s truthfulness about Israel, or is he holding his tongue and bidding his time? On the evidence it appears that Mr., Obama’s speech at Aipac was one long exercise in political cynicism.

SMALL IS BEAUTIFUL………To bad this “JOBS” bill is all the political market will bear…………….We keep hearing that the partisan gulf in Washington is too wide to “get things done” but Democrats and Republicans agree on a lot. For example both parties claim to revere the Constitution. Proof is that they are coming together on a small bill to help small businesses that the House will pass this week. There is a lesson here about modern Washington. Even the White House is on board, and not because it thought “Our Business” referred to General Motors and Solyndra. The White House issued a statement endorsing the Jobs Act, writing that “ Helping start-ups and small businesses succeed and create jobs is fundamental to having an economy built to last.” One provision, which passed the House 413-11 in November, would ALLOW small companies to use advertising or solicitations to contact investors and raise capital.

A Securities and Exchange Commission relic from 1982 bars such contact, which makes it hard for ventures to raise capital “without deep political connections. Another reform raised the SEC registration to $50 million from $5 million which will make it easier for businesses to go public. Every member voted for this, except Michigan Democrat JOHN DINGEL. There are plenty of things Washington could do to jump start growth and investment, even short of major tax reform , and the House Republicans have passed literally dozens of bills that would help the economy. But they lie dormant in the Senate because Harry Reid and his gang of Democrats won’t endorse anything without a major tax increase.

OBAMA’S SWEET DEAL WITH NORTH KOREA……….Diplomacy has costs, Tehran’s mullahs will be watching, so says John Bolton………..In the transition from an old dictator to a new one, some observers were losing faith in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, believing it has lost its magic touch in the arts of dissembling. In the State Department’s telling on February 29th, we gave nothing in return to the North’s unilateral concessions, “designed to improve the atmosphere for dialogue and demonstrate its commitment to denuclearization. How sweet. Unfortunately, the Leap Year deal is worse than just another failed effort to chit-chat North Korea out its nuclear weapons. It provides a political and economic lifeline to Kim Jong Eun’s uncertain new regime. Most objectionable morally, despite U.S. denials, we are providing 240,000 tons of food that almost certainly will be diverted to the DPRK and other favored recipients. Make no mistake, we are simply feeding young Kim’s dictatorship Iran, meanwhile must be relishing this latest display of U.S. weakness and memory loss. Tehran sees with laser-sharp clarity that when the going gets tough, Team Obama gets negotiating. The resumption of the long-failed negotiations will bid it time, and the expectation of reduced economic pressure. Iran can even count on Mr. Obama to try to restrain Israel, it’s strongest and most determined regional opponent.

AL CAPONE’S LEGACY LIVES ON……….On March 15th the former Governor of Illinois, Rod Blogojevich, started to serve a 14 year sentence for corruption in a Federal low-security prison. In this part of America, he is treading a well-worn path. Over four decades, four out of the seven governors had been convicted of corruption and had the distinction of being the federal district with the most convictions since 1976. Since the 1,828 elected officials, appointees, government employees and a few private individuals have been convicted of corruption in the judicial zone including Chicago. All the convicted governors and 24 of the alderman had tried to extract bribes from builders, developers, business owners and those seeking to do business with the state and city.

WICHITA SHOCKER………you can beat City Hall…..Local politicians like to get in bed with local businesses, and tax payers are usually the losers. So, three cheers for the voter revolt in Wichita, Kansas. In late 2011 the Wichita city council passed, 6 to 1, a bill excepting the new Ambassador Hotel, owned by real estate developers, from 75% of the city hotel tax, plus over $10 million in other subsidies, all the skids were greased. But the voters were so enraged that they launched a petition for a voter referendum. Despite hundreds of thousands of dollars spent by the hotel advocates, almost 10 times more than opponents spent, voters routed the subsidy 61% to 39%. WHAT AMERICANS WANT FROM GOVERNMENT, AND THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION, IS EQUAL TREATMENT.

And Boone Pickens points out in a separate letter that it’s similar to the government building highways and the cost being paid back via gasoline taxes on the fuel consumed by those who use the highways”

ADDENDUM: WSJ JUST REPORTED THE FOLLOWING…..”BIG OIL, BIGGER TAXES” The industry sends more money to Washington than to its shareholders Obama says he wants to end subsidies to what he calls “the fuel of the past,” but lucky for him oil and gas will be the fuels of the future too. His budget-deficit blowout would so much worse without Big Oil, because the truth is that this industry is subsidizing the government. As for the subsidies that Mr. Obama says the oil industry receives, these are not direct cash handouts like those that go the “green lobby” They are deductions from taxes that cover the cost of doing business and earning income to tax in the first place. Obama wants to put oil and gas companies at a competitive disadvantage against other industries, like making them more expensive than his favorites in the wind, solar and ethanol industries. The oil industry paid $37.7 billion in corporate taxes in 2009, the latest year for which data is available. Why he would still raise more taxes, which will result in his tax agenda, amid political panic over $4 per gallon gasoline is a mystery.

OBITUARY: ALEX WEBSTER.NEW YORK GIANTS, RUNNING BACK and COACH, DIES at the AGE of 80…….A burly presence for his era, at 6 foot 3 inches and about 230 pounds, Webster, known as BIG RED, gained key yardage in the Giants high powered offense. THE ANTI-JOBS PRESIDENT…Obama rejects Keystone XL pipeline, and blames Congress…The central conflict of the Obama Presidency has been between the jobs and growth crises he inherited and the President’s hell-for-leather pursuit of his larger social-policy ambitions. The tragedy is that the economic recovery is caught in between, with the second impulse keeps winning. Yesterday came proof positive with the White House’s repudiation of the Keystone XL pipe line, Trans Canada’s $7 billion shovel ready project that would support tens of thousands of jobs if only it could get the requisite U.S. permits. THESE JOBS, APPARENTLY CAN WAIT.

The 1,661 mile pipe line, from Alberta to the refineries in Texas along the Gulf Coast. The State Department, which presides over the Keystone pipe line, because it crosses the 49th parallel, claimed that the two month Congressional deadline was too tight “for the President to determine whether the Keystone Pipeline is in the nation’s interest” The White House also issued a statement denouncing Congress’s “rushed and arbitrary deadline”, which merely passed with bi-partisan support.”……THIS IS, TO PUT IT POLITELY, A CROCK……..

Keystone XL has been planned for years and only became a political issue after the well-to-do environmental lobby decided to make it a station of the green cross. TransCanada filed its application in 2008, and the State Department determined in 2010 and then again last year that the project “would have no significant impacts on the environment” following exhaustive studies. Mr. Obama’s own Jobs Council, which released a report, that endorsed an “all-in approach” on energy, including the “profound new opportunities in shale gas and unconventional oil”. The 27 man committee, handpicked by the President, recommended that he support, “policies that facilitate the safe , thoughtful and timely development of pipeline, transmission and distribution projects, and they warned that failing to do so, would stall the engine that could become the PRIME DRIVER OF U.S. JOBS AND GROWTH IN THE DECADES AHEAD………..The EPA chose to intervene anyway, and the political left began to issue ultimatums and demonstrate in front of the White House, so President Obama decided to defer his decision until “AFTER” the elections.

Such green delusions are sad, and Obama’s pandering is sadder, even though everything the country stands to lose is the saddest. When the Republican candidate is chosen, he should make Obama explain why job creation is less important than the people than the people who make a living working for the green anti-industrial complex.

There was a time, not too long ago, when Americans poked fun at Canada for its economic policies. Nowadays, Canada has it all over the U.S. Take the contrasting political reaction to the proposed oil lines from Canada to the Texas oil refineries off the Gulf. CANADA’S , Joe Oliver, Minister of Natural Resources recently blasted the “radicals” trying to block the project, saying the green movement’s “goal is to stop any major project no matter what the cost to Canadian families in lost jobs and economic growth. No forestry, no gas , no oil, no mining, no more hydraulic dams. Greens attack jet setting celebrities with some of the largest footprints in the world, and then try to lecture Canadians not to develop our natural resources. These groups are willing to sue anyone and everyone to delay the project even further, to the point it becomes comically unviable”…..who ever thought the day would come when Ottawa would be more pro-growth than the government of the United States.

SOME OVER VIEW OF THE FACTS: Natural gas is found in many of the same areas of crude oil and is collected through small gathering system and moved to gas processing plants, where the impurities are removed. Including the small piping from the street mains, creating approximately 1.8 MILLION MILES OF PIPING. Oil within the United States, the oil pipelines are divided into two groups, one system is designed for crude oil, the other for refined product lines. First, in areas gathering lines are quite small, usually from 2 to 8 inches in diameter, in areas in which crude is found deep in the earth, there are about 40,000 miles of these small gatherings, all ending in TRUNK LINES, measuring from 8 inches to 42 inches. Refined products of oil, approx., 95,000 MILES of piping are then delivered to large terminals, then distributed by trucks or trains..

In preparation for the 2012 campaign, term 1 where he stands on emotional appeals, populism. And class warfare, not the shaky ground on his crumbling record. And looking right back at him will be the U.S. Senate, which has for the “1,000 days failed to pass a budget, a total shirking of their fundamental duty as stewards of the tax-payer money.” The President, with flourish, will tell a story through PROGRESSIVE EYES, about where “fairness” takes on a new meaning, where America’s core values are brushed aside, where the truth of a failed presidency is forgotten but the soaring deficits, depths of unemployment, or miles of job killing regulations that his administration has wrought.

This sort of Progressivism has its roots in 100 years of history and 100 years of failure.. No need to look back to the history books to see the proof. One only has to see the President’s record of the past three years. You have eyes and ears, that connect to a “brain” that hopefully will decide whether this President has fulfilled his promises made during the past 3 years.

PATERNO DIES at the age of 85…The man known by the Pennsylvania State University as “JoePa” will be remembered both for his dependency career leading one of college football never to be forgotten coaches. He was in charge for 46 years, starting in 1966, earned him 409 victories, earning him football’s win ingest coach, a pair of national titles and a spot in the College Football Hall of Fame, During his time at Penn State, he and his wife, had donated an estimated $4 million dollars to the University. His Netanya Lions were also held up as a rare marquee football program that won without having been found guilty of major violations. The press labeled Paterno’s Lions as “Linebacker U” for their defenses prowess and their success in placing linebackers in the National Football League. Dressed in basic blue and white uniforms with no name on the back of the uniform, the Dittany Lions played the game in the old-schooled fundamental football. Beaver Stadium swelled to a seating capacity of over 100,000 seats. There were great coaches in the past, Bowen, Bryant, Schnellenberger, Stagg, Holtz and many more, but there will never be the group who spent most of their careers at one school, a ND produced great players and teams. The game has changed, as has the coaches, the players and the rules, there never be another Joe Paterno!

AS IRAQ IGNITES, CLERIC SEEKS GAIN…AMID RESUMED Conflict, Ex-MILITANT SADR, Shiite LEADER AND ALLY OF IRAN, AIMS TO CLIMB TO THE TOP OF THE FRAY AS PEACEMAKER…

Shiite cleric, Moqtada al-Sadr, who waged a bloody insurgency against Americans for over eight years, now presides over one of the county’s most organized and influential political groups, a cause of concern for America and all other religious groups. This past two weeks, amid a power struggle has threatened to bring down the Yaqui government… Mr. Sadr has sought to rise above the fray by calling for a referendum on his own, Sadr joined talks in Iran with Turkey’s Foreign Minister who was on his way to try to ease tensions in the Middle East…during his meeting, a series of bombings killed at least 69 Shiite areas in Iraq—attacks that appeared aimed at goading M. Sadr’s followers back into a war that would make Iraq ungovernable, (especially since the President removed all of President Bush’s remaining troops, leaving 5,000-10,00 troops to police to make sure the Iraqis have a chance to organize a strong government, or must we wait for another General Marshall…who knows what might have developed if some of our troops were not left behind in Europe and Japan).

In Bagdad, Ayad Allawi, the former Shiite prime minister, who now leads a Sunni contingent within the government, while Kurdish leaders met in Erbil, the semi-independent Kurdish region, with same goal, to oust Maliki. Very confusing to say the least, but all can agree that there is unrest within the country, that will probably lead to violence.

BILL DALEY’S LOST YEAR…Someday William Daley may tell the world what went wrong during his short, unhappy tenure as White House chief of staff, a lost year for him…and the country. President Obama brought in the Chicago politico-business man to replace Rahm Emanuel, who had clashed with Michelle Obama. Mr. Daley was supposed to repair relations with the business community and the Republicans on Capitol Hill…….rumors abound that when he was assigned an office with no windows, that the space with Michelle and Daley, widened despite Bill Clinton’s push for retaining Daley.

TWO COMMENTS FROM OUR READERS…Subject…blending corn “but I think that the third leg of this massive political payoff continues to survive, that being legal requirements that a percentage of gasoline we buy at the pump be ethanol. This is all part of the payoffs which Congress provides to the farm lobby and the mid-west politicians in exchange for political support, all at the expense of the American consumers. So what if ethanol uses up too much corn and drives up the price of food for all Americans , particularly the poor? Second opinion: recess appointment power…”The legal opinion which Obozo relied on for his latest power grab could be construed to say that if Congress breaks for lunch, it’s a recess and the President can then make “recess appointments”. And if this power grab wasn’t bad enough, the Cordray part was done on behalf of a new agency with doctorial powers which is answer to no one, not Congress, not the Fed, NO ONE. The purpose of the agency, as with so much of Obozo’s Presidency, is to drive as many banks and private lenders out of business as possible so the Federal government is able to take over.”

FINANCIAL CRISES on TRIAL…The Securities and Exchange Commission the government-backed mortgage buyers, not Wall Street greed.

For the first time in a government report, the complaint made it quite clear that that the two government sponsored enterprises made it clear that the two GSEs played a major role in creating the demand for low-quality mortgages before the 2008 financial crises. More importantly, the SEC is saying that Fannie and Freddie- the largest buyers and securitizes of subprime and other low-quality loans—hid the size of their purchases from the market. Through these acts of securities fraud, they did not just mislead investors, they deprived analysts , risk managers, rating agencies and even financial regulators of vital market risks that could have prevented the crisis. What were Dodd and Frank doing that they failed to see the problems ahead, surely they were told about the storms coming?

MIA on the SHORES of TRPOLI…The U.S. defers to Qatar and the U.N. in Libya…President Obama offer criticizes the Bush Administration failing to “finish the job” in Afghanistan, so it’s odd to see him leave himself vulnerable to the same charge in Libya. A few months after the death of Gadhafi, the cautious and reluctant White House follow up to the NATO war resembles its approach to this year’s ARAB upheavals in general……The U.S.is finally “trying “to get the U.N. to release Libyan frozen assets, including $30 billion under U.S. jurisdiction. The United States is also deferring too much to Qatar and the United Arab Emirates on security, the Europeans, who pushed hard for NATO, seem more interested in buying Libya’s oil than midwifing a new Arab democracy.

UAW PICKS TARGETS for SUICIDE BOMBING of U.S. ECONOMY…For over a year, it has been rumored that the UAW was going after major foreign auto manufacturers in the United States to force them to unionize by a work boycott. High on their list are the German manufactures Volkswagen AG and Daumier AG, seen as easier targets than the Japanese and South Koreans.

It’s a battle the UAW cannot afford to lose. By failing to organize factories run by foreign automakers, the union has been a spectator to the only growth in the U.S. auto industry in the past 30 years. That failure to win new members has compounded a crunch on the UAW’s finances, forcing them to sell assets and dip into its strike fund to pay for its activities.

KODAK DIDN’T KILL ROCHESTER, IT WAS the OTHER WAY AROUND… The population of Rochester, N.Y. peaked in 1950 at 330,000, its largest headquartered company then and now, was Eastman Kodak, who produced the Kodak Brownie Camera that sold for $5.95. Rochester began to shed population after a race riot in 1964, and 5 years later the second largest company, the Haliod Company, later renaming itself Xerox, left for Norwalk, Connecticut. Kodak with its large cash flow and top global brand, thrived in the 60 and 70’s. Geography was a fatal blow to Kodak, businesses located in places where success is the norm, and innovation is built into the ecology, have a better chance of re-inventing themselves.

WHO PAID for YOUR DOCTOR’S BAGEL ?… Obama Care’s “SUNSHINE ACT” will benefit only accountants, bureaucrats and lawyers…Embedded in Obama Care is a toxic rule called “Physician Payments Sunshine Act.” The Act requires all companies that manufacture medical products that are purchased from the government to disclose on a public web-site anything they give physicians valued above $10 dollars…….there pro and con groups….Who wins, who doesn’t care and who loses as a result of this regulation? Winners: the Sunshine Act is a stimulus plan for critics of the pharmaceutical and medical care device industry. The Sunshine Act will be a boon for accountants, compliance bureaucrats and legions of lawyers, who companies will hire to interpret and manage the regulations. There will be questions of how to identify which physicians are being paid what—as to how to account for $25 dollars’ worth of bagels brought in for a group-practice office meeting when it’s unclear who actually ate the bagels.

Do you want your doctor pilloried for eating a bagel while getting useful product information that might benefit his patient? Do you want your hospital hiring compliance officers instead of nurses or lab technicians. This legislation is the poster child President Obama characterized as rules that are “plain dumb”. No matter what happens to the health-care reform law as a whole, Congress should junk the “SUNSHINE ACT” before it burns us all.

I want to thank all those who sent their comments in respect to certain issues, and hope that continues, as I need as much help as possible…….next issue will contain some pre-Florida comments and the final results from the great State of Florida, which may end up with giving one candidate enough votes tube the opponent of the party presently in power………..see y’all in the funny papers…..AP

I try to stay away from very many political statements by Deb or myself in our writings, at least on this site. The exception being our ole buddy AP, who brings us the “Revolution.” We try to mainly stay on a gardening, recipe, prepping nature, but sometimes I just have to, as Deb describes it…opening my BIG mouth! Well, today is one of those occasions!

Anyway, I know all of ya’ll are like Deb and myself watching these food prices increasing. I’m getting sticker shock any more at the way food pricing has increased. Isn’t it amazing what they’ve done the past couple years?

Unemployment is still high, yet the cost to only subsist anymore continues an upward spiral. For those who haven’t, you guys might just wanna wake-up to the goings on today of our politicians. Just out of curiosity, how many vacations HAS our President taken? They sure seem to be tightening their belts in DC, huh?

I have to believe the way these people, our elected leaders are acting, they’re probably LOOSENING their belts instead of tightening them. You eat, sleep, breathe, and live on an unlimited money pit to draw from, created by we the taxpayer, you’ll soon see your britches might be goin up a size or two.

The problem we as taxpayers have is our leaders don’t seem to come to grips that OUR incomes have taken a hit, and by so, the bottomless pit they draw from is fast becoming a very LIMITED bottomless pit. We cannot sustain their fiscal recklessness! Do the math, it’s pretty elementary, even to a “dumb ole redneck” like yours truly!

So, how do they adjust to this mess they’ve gotten us, and this great Country we live in into? MORE SPENDING! It’s insane to be honest, and insane on our part to tolerate such behavior! In the end IT IS OUR MONEY! Oh yeah, and the Chinese, the Indians, and whoever else they can borrow money from!

Over 40 cents of EVERY dollar these guys spend…is borrowed. What must JUST the interest be daily on this borrowed money? They are literally spending our Country into oblivion! Good Lord people, please start hollerin!

On top of taking more and more from us, what do they do?? Print more of course! “Tax the rich, tax the rich,” that’s their rallying cry. We’re surely not rich, and struggle daily makin ends meet, but to be quite frank with you guys…I AIN’T EVER worked for a poor guy!

Yet, the people that produce the jobs are asked to bear more and more of the brunt of others less fortunate. Hmmm…less fortunate they say? How’s that? You guys mind if we stop today and take a look?
There are people in our Country that need help, I totally, 100% agree with this. In my opinion though, I feel that they are the handicapped, the elderly living off their Social Security, the very sick, and our veterans. Yes sir, help these guys out some.

BUT, today we’ve become a “Nanny State,” in every sense of the word. We give to people, and the majority of those on the receiving end of this “giving,” no longer appreciate this act. They’ve been taught by our government that this has become a right, their right, and this is literally a sin.

Many of these have been on government aid for…generations! Yep, generations now! On top of this, many, many of them are…illegals! I also advocate immigration, BUT, through the proper channels, and LEGALLY!

An example…we know an English lady who owns a sub-shop near where my Mom and Dad live. It took her AND her family 5 years to be able to come to the US, through the proper channels. This took beaucoup money, and effort. BUT, they felt this appropriate, and in the end would allow their family the opportunity to grow.

Why, because they recognized the fact that by being able to come to the US, they in fact were providing themselves with a much better opportunity than they were presented with in England. BUT, THEY HAD TO HAVE A BUSINESS IN HAND HERE IN THE US PRIOR TO BEING ABLE TO COME!

Our government in their twisted way of thinking, but in reality, their quest to lower our own standards of living, and by placing such restrictions on this family, made the opportunity to come here almost nil. Our officials made their entry into this Country very stressful, and to a degree almost impossible.

Yet, they persevered, and bought a business and moved here, again 5 years from their initial quest of coming here. But they were forced to literally jump through hoops top get here…legally. This is SO wrong!

Here we have a family that recognized all our Country had to offer. They had the work ethic to honestly help out, hire employees, pay taxes, and, here’s the biggie…CONTRIBUTE! YET, we make it SO difficult for these types of people to get in here anymore. Please explain such a position by our elected officials to me!

Sadly I understand the reasoning for this. They really don’t want these types of people anymore. They don’t want us to live the American Dream, oh no! They want to control us, our way of life, our options and rights as citizens, our way of life, our religion, and even today, what our children eat in schools??

Good night a livin people, this is the farthest you can get from what our Country was founded on. This plan, or agenda, has been in place for many generations now, and slowly but surely the officials in our Country have been implementing this into our society.

Johnson’s vision of a “great society,” was in reality a vision of more governmental power, and less and less of a free market system through which our Country had prospered for so long. Power greed and corruption… “me, me, me, and…ME!” This should be our politician’s REAL topic for election. Shoot, at least they’ll finally be honest in their statements at that point. Today though in election mode, reality is to lie, lie, lie, and MORE lies.

Just look at the promises our current President made during his campaign? How many were just blatant, out and out lies? Transparency? Get outta here! Integrity? Give me a break! Tighten a belt? You betcha! Promote racial “let bygones be bygones?” I’d have to say anything but! Racial Division I find much more descriptive of his policies! But honestly, it’s not just him…far too many of today’s politicians are actually in bed together in this agenda…Democrat AND Republican.

Take a look at the candidates for this year’s election. I for one believe without a doubt that many of our elected leaders are Socialist in their ideals and beliefs. This to put it mildly.
Redistribution of wealth, government taking over companies, government healthcare, manipulation by our leaders in the collapse of our economy (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, AIG, etc.), even our children not being able to fly the US flag on their bikes at school, and the destruction of our Christian beliefs, as well as we can’t say…Merry Christmas…here in the US??

Yet, looking at our candidates, WHO, and I’m only asking you to name one, is shouting about the movement by our Country into a Communist oriented takeover, OR calling the ones who advocate such beliefs what they really are…Communists??

Wouldn’t you think that all these themes would be screamed about by our conservative Presidential candidates? I’d think so, but not one is beating this over anybody’s head. Why? I personally believe that whoever did so, the people would flock to them…in droves.

Yet, I don’t hear this. Well kinda, but it’s like they’re walking on eggs IF they do so. Call it what it is! Show we the people you have virtues, morals, and integrity. Let us hear you loud and clear, don’t sashay around these things. Speak from your heart your convictions, do something to stand above this political correctness mentality, and LEAD!

Illegal immigration is WRONG…stop it. Government intrusion into our private lives is WRONG! The destruction of our free market system is WRONG. TAKING from the rich, to give to the poor is WRONG!

Today’s government pension and retirement packages are WRONG! Giving the unions a part of GM is WRONG! They were the biggest players involved in the collapse of our automobile industry here in the US!
Continuing to fund public sector waste is WRONG! AmTrac, the post office, and all other public sector fiascos are ALL WRONG! Look at the post office…losing billions every quarter, YET, Fed-Ex, UPS, and others in the private sector make money every quarter! This too is ALL WRONG!

Fannie and Freddie were major players in the economic demise of our economy, yet, Franklin Raines pocketed over $20 million in compensation in 2003 alone??? I’ve heard, but didn’t spend the time this morning to substantiate this, but total compensation through the years was over 100 million dollars! This “compensation” from a company that went belly-up with debt. Much of it giving loans, forced on lenders by government regulations to put people into homes who they KNEW HAD NO POSSIBLE WAY OF PAYING THEIR MORTGAGES!

If you or I were to pull such an act…we’d be UNDER the jail! This is just but one of countless examples such as this by…our leaders.

We’ve sat back and let our leaders throw us as taxpayers, under the bus. These same “crusaders for the poor,” as they profess themselves to be, have long lost any fear of public retaliation. We’ve become… “sheeple.”

As I stated earlier, let’s look back at the poor and oppressed…or how our leaders like to describe such constituents.

Let’s begin with the inner cities. President Johnson started this crusade against…poverty. Their dwellings were deplorable, their standard of living was deplorable, and their education and work ethics were deplorable. So, almost 50 years later what’s changed? Nothing!

After ALL these government programs, government initiatives, AND government involvement in these programs…no change! No, I’m sorry, there is change…EVEN MORE people poor and oppressed now! Trillions of dollars later, trillions of dollars later, mind you, the problem is more rampant than ever.

One more, FINE example of our elitist leader’s transformation of our Country down the path of Communism. It’s not as many of us think in regards to our politicians…what in the world are they thinking about, or, are they THAT stupid?? But in reality it’s not that they’re stupid…it’s their goal, their agenda, their power-play on “we the people!” They’ve been actually very, very intelligent AND patient in their desire of transforming our Country…from within!

It’s, human nature…give an inch…take a mile. So in reality, it’s not our leaders who’ve been ignorant in their goal, but the ignorance of we the people sitting back on our haunches allowing our leaders to orchestrate and manipulate us into this fine mess we’re in today!

I’m only putting the blame where it goes, on us, and I wholeheartedly agree that I too have sat back and allowed this to happen. I’m as guilty as the next!

So I guess the most important thing for us to do today is to help try and educate others into the dangerous direction we’re being taken as a Country.

Become involved! Our next election is very crucial my friends. Stand up and be heard. Voice your opinion, and stand up for what’s right. Our days of being led around by our officials, has to stop. Make them accountable, and make them aware OF their accountability.

Quit allowing our government to give us a fish for our next meal. Demand the right to fish for ourselves, and by this becoming the bread winners in regards to our families once more. We don’t want a fish…we want to learn how to fish, and by so…feeding our own family ourselves! Let free markets reign!

Quit letting them buy your souls for a mere pittance of what could be. Start believing in yourselves, and by doing so you’ll see just what our great Country has to offer! Be the best at what you do. Become a self-starter, and don’t let anyone tell you what you can or can’t do when it comes to your work ethic.

Become proud of your accomplishments, and NEVER, EVER TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER! The only person who can stop you from living your own “American Dream,” is you! This is as true a statement as ever has come out of my mouth!

You live in the greatest Country in the world, let’s keep it!

Thank you all for allowing me to vent some frustration this morning. I needed it, plus hopefully it will inspire some. Deb and I have seen some awfully hard times in our own lives, but we never let them deter us from our own goals, or ambitions! As I said earlier…we persevered!

Was it easy? Of course not, but we never expected it to be, and our parents didn’t profess that it would be. You just gotta grab the bull by the horns, work hard at whatever it is you do, trust each other in your decisions, and BELIEVE in yourself!

THEN, do what you tell someone you’re gonna to do, be reasonable in your pricing, and be willing to invest whatever time and energy is needed in accomplishing your goals! Many times Deb and I worked from daylight to cain’t, and there are times we still do.

But, to become successful, no matter in a big way or small, there’s sacrifice involved, and this is where your own desire, motivation, and will TO succeed become critical components in your success.
