Yes, very encouraging words..especially, nowadays. We just saw the passing of a dear friend and a mighty servant of God. 10:10 last night he went to be with his Lord after many years battling health challenges, feeling good, or not so good, rain or shine, he would be found singing gospel songs in the streets, handing out tracts. He loved everybody, even cops! (He was a police chaplain for a time, i always bugged him about my negative police experiences, which never set well with him.) His cousin Becky is a police officer, and a God-loving woman who ministers to kids in trouble in her small town. I met her when brother Glenn took me on a street ministry trip to the Bay area, 7, 8 years ago. Wow, that long already. When I met Reverend Glenn Adkins, formerly Pastor of a small hippie church in Topanga Canyon, I really needed someone to straighten me out, and he took the job. Thank God for his friendship and patience! After all these years telling everyone about his wonderful mother who passed away when he was a lad of 11, he's finally enjoying her companionship again. So many of us were touched by your example of serving Jesus, and looking forward to the inexpressible joy you are now walking in. Don't know what to say in a post-card to a saint except thanks..I will try to become the example you modeled to all of us. Happy Graduation Day!

All the answers ARE there, aren't they my friend?

I know from our conversations we've had Gary, the situation in regards to our Country troubles you deeply, as it should, but, there IS a factor involved in all this that trumps everything else...GOD'S Plan, right? We put our faith and trust in God, then we're winners no matter what the outcome is. Personally, I still hold to the belief that in regards to our Country...WE CAN, right the ship. Paint me the optimist, but I still believe in "We the People." One thing for sure...we shall see.

NO, you're dern chickens ain't usin my pickup as their own personal "port-a-john!" You call it "roostin," but I know different! No optimism bein shown there, huh?

Love you too, Gary!

I much enjoyed that Doug.

I was listening to a sermon EARLY this morning and then just had to read Deut 28 and all of Lamentations to put it all together.

Ya know? If you ever have a question there is an answer in HIS word...

I've had some real mental battles with what was (is) going on in the world but the WORD has helped so much. Just have to put my full faith and trust in the right place.

Meanwhile I just got 40 Cochin Bantam chicks and ordered 40 Buff Orphington hens which will be here next week. Need any eggs? Ha! I'm fixin' to start free ranging next spring. Come on up. My hens will need something else like a nice pickup to roost on!
Love ya Buddy,
Gary

Thank YOU Kari!

Seriously, Isaiah 53 struck a chord with me as well...big time. Just had to share it.

Thank you again, and God Bless you and yours!

Thank you Dub, for sharing both scriptures. Isaiah 53 made me cry. I love our Lord so much, and I am greatful for your sincere testimony. For me it's always so moving to hear of someone's heartfelt and life changing conversion in Jesus Christ! Have a beautiful blessed day in our amazing, life saving Lord, Yeshua!!!
